      MARCO ASENSIO has reportedly sacked his agent – and that could put Arsenal and Newcastle on red alert. The Real Madrid man continues to be linked with a transfer away from the Bernabeu this summer.

      But with no deal done, he is said to have ditched his representatives to get a transfer over the line before deadline day.
      As reported by El Larguero, the playmaker – who used to be looked after by Horacio Gaggioli – made the decision in order to “find a way out” of Madrid.
      However, the Spanish radio station claim there have been no official offers tabled for the 26-year-old star yet.
      It is thought, though, that AC Milan have been in contact with Jorge Mendes, who could be dealing with Asensio’s potential switch.

      Tuchel first swooped for Kounde during the January transfer window but talks broke down due to haggling over the price.
      Sevilla were demanding the full amount of the release clause.
      Kounde then aggravated an old pelvic injury while playing in the Nations League in June and underwent minor surgery – putting the sale at risk.
      Chelsea looked at alternatives, with Manchester City’s Nathan Ake on their radar, while Spanish giants Barcelona tried to muscle in and hijack proceedings.

      The arrival of Kounde and Koulibaly may now trigger outgoings from the Chelsea backline.
      Club captain Cesar Azpilicueta is hopeful of being released to join Barcelona although prior to flying to America, no talks had been held about allowing him to go.
      The accomplished Spaniard is keen to go home having won every trophy possible in ten years with Chelsea.
      Although primarily a right-back Azpilicueta does play centre-back and the arrivals of Koulibaly and Kounde ease the pressure on Tuchel in the position.
      Spanish left-back Marcos Alonso is also keen to leave but his situation is unaffected by Chelsea’s latest deals. 
      Chelsea striker Armando Broja is the subject of a £30million bid from West Ham but Tuchel added: “I don’t expect Armando to leave. We are aware of offers and interest.

      Lingard, 29, shone across a six month spell in the second half of the 2020/21 season, scoring nine goals in 16 appearances for the Hammers to help fire them to a top six finish.
      West Ham tried to bring Lingard back last summer as well as in January but could not strike a deal with Manchester United.
      However, the east Londoners are now facing competition from newly promoted Nottingham Forest who are keen to bring Lingard to the City Ground.
      There are fears at the London Stadium that Forest may be offering a bigger wage than the Hammers are willing to, though they are able to offer European football next season.

      Pavard joined Bayern from Stuttgart in 2019 for £31.4m, so the German champions are keen to recoup almost all of that fee.
      He has made 119 appearances for Bayern, scoring five goals and providing 11 assists.
      Pavard has won the Bundesliga in each of his three campaigns with the Germans and also scooped a Champions League winners’ medal in 2020.
      But he could still be made surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena this summer.

      Molineux forward Fabio Silva has joined Belgian club Anderlecht on a season-long loan, having first signed a one-year extension to his contract. 
      Silva, whose new deal runs until 2026, joined Wolves in September 2020 in a deal from Porto worth £37million.
      He has made only 17 Premier League starts, scoring four goals.
