And Pogba told Uninterrupted: “I just want the best for me, I’m thinking like putting everything together. Take my time and I’m just looking for the best.
“I just want to play football, be myself always and enjoy what I do.
“I need to enjoy what I do because otherwise I cannot perform well. I don’t want to be thinking negative.
“We can be losing games, losing trophies but you have to be happy where you are and enjoy yourself. That’s what I’m looking for.”

Both Man Utd and Arsenal are in the hunt for reinforcements up front and have identified £85million man Osimhen as a potential target.
But according to transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, both clubs have been joined by newly mega-rich Newcastle in the hunt for the Nigeria international.
    Fries with that?
Man United are reportedly tracking Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries.
New boss Erik ten Hag has already put together a list of potential transfer targets, and Dumfries, 26, is said to be at the very top.
The 52-year-old is claimed to be a huge fan of the fellow Dutchman, who registered 12 goal contributions in 45 appearances across all competitions last season for Inter.
And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Man Utd have now started to track him in order to prepare for a potential bid.

According to the Telegraph, the Magpies boss is prioritising moves for a forward and a centre-back.
In addition to 19-year-old Ekitike, Howe would like to recruit a more experienced frontman.
Everton’s England international Dominic Calvert-Lewin fits the bill, although the Toffees are reluctant to sell.

    Nunez tipped for Liverpool transfer
Benfica striker Darwin Nunez has been tipped to pick Liverpool over Man United by Glen Johnson.
Johnson told BettingOdds: “You’d think Núñez would head to Anfield if it’s between Liverpool and Manchester United. As we know, Manchester United don’t have the same pulling power they once did.
“There was a time when Manchester United came calling then the answer was ‘yes’. That’s not the case at the moment, so if Liverpool and Manchester United are going head to head for him then I’m sure he’d pick Liverpool over United.
“If Liverpool are to pay the £100 million that Benfica supposedly want for him, then that’s against their structure and the way they do business, but that’s the way the game is going.
” If they don’t start opening up to that, then others will capitalise on that. I do like the way Liverpool do their business, but they need to be a bit flexible with it because the other big guns will be willing to pay it, whether it’s against their protocols or not.”

    Bale wanted by TEN clubs
Gareth Bale has had offers from more than 10 clubs after leaving Real Madrid, according to reports.

A move to hometown club Cardiff is one possibility but more than ten clubs want Bale, according to the Daily Mail.
Some MLS clubs are said to be in the mix including Wayne Rooney’s former side DC United, who are willing to make him their highest-paid player in history.
The likes of Newcastle, Rangers and Celtic have also been linked, with a second return to Tottenham also mooted.

But according to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are hoping to get around £42.5m for the 30-year-old who has one year left on his deal, which would help fund a replacement.

Inter Milan should keep hold of Lautaro Martinez instead of bringing in Romelu Lukaku, Christian Vieri thinks.
He told FC Inter New, reported by sempreinter: “In the case of Martinez, Lukaku left and he scored more goals. On the other hand, it’s not certain that new signings will be ready right away.
“If you sell him and replace him, you may lose some goals.
“I don’t know what will happen, but allowing someone of his quality to leave is always difficult, I think you’d want to keep him for many years.
“If it’s due to a financial problem and he can bring in a lot of money, then that’s understandable. Otherwise, I’d keep him.”

Goldberg said: “The disrespect Romelu Lukaku has shown Tuchel, his teammates, the whole club of Chelsea & the fans is honestly shocking.
“No more apology videos, no more PR spins, it’s time to go and congrats because you’ve chosen to have this awful Chelsea legacy now, it wasn’t forced upon you.”

    Gilmour gets career decline warning
Chelsea ace Billy Gilmour has been warned he needs to raise his game to avoid becoming an international flop like Scottish compatriot Barry Bannan.
Bannan was viewed as Scotland’s prized asset in his prime like Gilmour is now.
But after a few sub-par performances for his international side, Scotland legend Charlie Nicholas reckons Gilmour could face a career decline like 32-year-old Sheffield Wednesday star Bannan.
Nicholas said, via the Scottish daily express: “Billy Gilmour is a talented player but if he is not careful, he could end up becoming the next Barry Bannan.
“Gilmour is a tidy footballer but he has to offer more and we need to stop making him out to be our saviour. He struggled in the play-off because he didn’t get on the ball enough- and when he did it was square pass, square pass.
“Let’s hope he can make a greater impact than Bannan- another physically small midfielder who did OK for a few seasons but failed to hit the heights everyone hoped.”
    Lukaku transfer doubts
Inter Milan should keep hold of Lautaro Martinez instead of bringing in Romelu Lukaku, Christian Vieri thinks.

“Then I thought: I want that too! I also have a shirt of him. Chelsea was just my club, man. Just like Feyenoord from an early age.”

He told BettingOdds: “I personally would want to go again next season and prove myself, but I feel with Lukaku that he’s had a whole season to show that sort of courage and he hasn’t.
“I can’t see anything changing next season. If he was the sort of player that can stand up and show courage next season, then I think we would have already seen hints of that.
“I can see him settling elsewhere because if he has that type of courage to bounce back in pre-season, then he should have had the courage to bounce back during his first season.
“I don’t see him bouncing back next season, so maybe a move somewhere else is best for both parties.”

In other news, RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku has revealed that he is ‘flattered’ by interest from a number of top clubs.

“Yes it’s flattering, but it’s also flattering to have a club like Leipzig do everything to keep me as well.
“I’ll have to reflect and make a decision. The World Cup is on the way and that’s another factor to take into account.”

“Of course, we are all buzzing for Harry, we want him to smash the record and we’re always here to support him.
“Whenever I’m given a chance if I’m on a pitch with him, I’ll try and help him to get to his targets.
“But for me, it’s all about whenever you get the opportunity, to just try and grab it with two hands and just show what you are made of.”

The ESPN contributor claims that United and Newcastle “are bidding” for the hotshot and they are “closest to signing him” at present.
That comes on the back of reports claiming that Liverpool have also entered the chase for £68m-rated Nunez’s signature.
It looks increasingly likely that the Reds will lose Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich, leaving Jurgen Klopp looking for a replacement in his attack.
Nunez scored home and away against Liverpool in last season’s Champions League quarter-finals – giving the Anfield club a first-hand look at his talents.

Arsenal confident Bukayo Saka will sign new contract amid transfer interest from Liverpool and Man City

ARSENAL are shrugging off speculation surrounding Bukayo Saka and are happy to wait for the player to finish his summer holiday before launching contract negotiations. Both Manchester City and Liverpool have been linked with the 20-year-old England winger since the Gunners missed out on Champions League qualification last month.

But Arsenal are adamant that their current Player of the Year is going nowhere and remain confident that he will soon sign a new long-term Emirates deal.
Saka is currently away on international duty and is not due to return for pre-season training for another five weeks.
And manager Mikel Arteta is keen for his young star to take a complete break from football before getting down to serious contract talks.
As SunSport reported back in March, the plan has always been to sort out Saka’s long-term future this summer with the offer of a new deal worth somewhere in the region of £125,000-a-week.

Man Utd join Josko Gvardiol transfer race and set to battle Chelsea and Tottenham for RB Leipzig centre-back

MANCHESTER UNITED have joined the race to sign RB Leipzig centre-back Josko Gvardiol, according to reports. The Red Devils are keen to bolster their defensive options after a woeful season at the back.
Gvardiol has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summerCredit: Getty
Captain Maguire consistently underperformed, while new boy Raphael Varane failed to offer the kind of solidity ex-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had hoped for.
Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones have not offered the reliable back-up Man Utd needed.
As a result, they are now being linked with 20-year-old Leipzig centre-half Gvardiol for a fee in the region of £30million.

Man Utd have been linked with a host of players already this summer.
And former interim boss Ralf Rangnick confirmed prior to his departure that new head coach Ten Hag may need as many as EIGHT new players.
He said: “In the end football is pretty easy, you just need to win games.
“In order to do that it’s obvious with quite a few players whose contracts are expiring we need a number of new players.
“There is already at least something like a number of players that are really top players for this club but as I said we need all the other areas.
“[I] suppose there will be six or eight new players. They should be top players to strengthen the quality of the squad.” More

Man Utd ‘are tracking Denzel Dumfries with Erik ten Hag considering transfer for Inter star’ in hint at formation change

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly tracking Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries. The Red Devils are expected to completely revamp their squad this summer following a disastrous season.

New boss Erik ten Hag has already put together a list of potential transfer targets, and Dumfries, 26, is said to be at the very top.
The 52-year-old is claimed to be a huge fan of the fellow Dutchman, who registered 12 goal contributions in 45 appearances across all competitions last season for Inter after a stunning Euros for Holland.
And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Man Utd have now started to track him in order to prepare for a potential bid.
Dumfries played as a right wing-back for the majority of last season, which could suggest that Ten Hag will try implementing a back five when the next campaign kicks off.

But the Spanish giants are demanding £65million to let him leave with United instead valuing De Jong closer to £50m.
And the Red Devils are hopeful of securing a deal around that price given Barcelona’s crippling financial situation.
But the club still needs to persuade De Jong to make the move and talks have reportedly stalled in recent days.
Fabrizio Romano offered an update on the situation saying: “Manchester United wanted to open direct talks with Barça for Frenkie de Jong as they feel there’s a chance to sign him because of Barcelona’s financial situation.

‘He ignored my message!’ – Theo Walcott pleads with Gareth Bale to make Southampton transfer but reveals text snub

THEO WALCOTT would love to see Gareth Bale back at Southampton next season. The Wales captain is a free agent after confirming his exit from Real Madrid this month and has no plans to retire after leading Wales to the World Cup.
Walcott is hoping that Bale returns to SouthamptonCredit: Getty
Bale, 32, started his career in the Southampton academy alongside Walcott, who returned to St. Mary’s from Everton in 2020.
There are thought to be ten clubs seriously considering a move for the Welsh winger this summer, with hometown side Cardiff pushing hard for a dream move.
There could be another homecoming, however, should Walcott get his way.
The two never lined up together for the first team, with Bale making his debut just months after Walcott joined Arsenal in January 2006.

“It will be very interesting, I am intrigued.”
Despite having come through the academy together, it doesn’t sound like Walcott could play a role in tempting Bale back to St. Mary’s given the Welshman snubbed his recent messages.
Walcott said: “He’s actually ignored my message the other day!
“I’m not really pleased about that, unless he has changed his number.”
