Dembele joined Barcelona from Dortmund in 2017 for a colossal fee of £125million.
He has since gone on to make 150 appearances for the Blaugrana, scoring 32 goals and registering 34 assists in that time.
However, persistent injuries have dented his career in Catalonia massively, and the club tried to force him out during the January window in order to get some money for him.
This ultimately failed and boss Xavi reinstated him in the second half of the season – when the majority of his 13 league assists this season have come.

The 29-year-old Dane previously played for Accrington Stanley in the 2017/18 campaign, making just one appearance in the EFL Cup, but is now playing for Waltham Abbey in the Southern League Division One Central.

In a SunSport exclusive, Richarlison is planning on leaving Everton.
Arsenal could be interested in the Brazilian who has two years left on his current contract.

Two of the clubs reportedly joining the battle for the Man City striker’s signature are Chelsea and Tottenham claim The Times.

Arsenal plan to offer Saliba new deal
William Saliba spent last season out on loan in his homeland of France at Marseille.
He helped the club qualify for the Champions League meanwhile he also won Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year award and earned a call-up to the France squad.
Mikel Arteta wants to keep him at the Emirates and therefore to prevent interest from other clubs Saliba could be offered an improved long-term contract, report L’Equipe.
    Price rockets for Scamacca
Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca is one on Arsenal’s wishlist for the summer.
The 6ft 5in Italian has impressed in Serie A this season and earned his first call-up to the Italy national team.
But his price tag has jumped to £42million according to Foot Mercato after PSG joined the race to sign him.
His price was previously reported at £35million.
    Arsenal in disagreement with Juve
Arsenal are reportedly keen on Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo.
But according to The Express, a transfer will not be simple because Juve want two Arsenal players in a swap deal.
The Italian giants have taken a liking to Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes and they are insistent on at least one heading to Turin if they give Arthur to the Gunners.
    Lacazette explains Lyon move
Alexandre Lacazette has just signed for Lyon after leaving Arsenal on a free transfer.
The Frenchman previously stated: “I want to play in Europe, it’s been a long time since I played in the Champions League, I’m missing it.”
Lyon though do not even have any form of European football next season but explained why he chose to return saying: “Even without Europe, the project is important.
“I felt useful in the locker room and on the pitch. It was the best decision to make.
“I took some time to make my decision. Football is a beautiful profession. It was complicated to follow OL’s last season from a distance because I couldn’t help. I hope this period is over and that we are going to find a great Lyon.
“The priority is above all to help the club return to the top of the bill with European qualification.”
    Further Jesus update
Journalist Ben Jacobs has provided an update on Arsenal’s interest in Gabriel Jesus as well as Man City’s stance on the striker.
He said: “I think Manchester City have, by all accounts, softened a little bit on the lowest valuation they’re prepared to sell for,” he said on The Football Terrace.
“When we first spoke about this, I think the fee was £55million in City’s head, something in that ballpark.
“Arsenal definitely thought that was around £10million too high.
“The situation now is that… the value of the deal has dropped by around £10-12million.
“So that’s well within Arsenal’s ballpark, and I think now, City will let Jesus go for somewhere in the low £40million.”
This sounds like good news for Mikel Arteta.
    Competition for Jesus
It has been well reported that Arsenal want to sign Gabriel Jesus.
The Man City is believed to be keen to leave due to the imminent arrival of Erling Haaland with it set to restrict his game time.
The Gunners are in for him as confirmed by the player’s agent Marcelo Pettinati but so are plenty of other clubs.
Jesus’ agent said: “We had talks with Arsenal about Gabriel Jesus, we like the project – it’s a possibility we’re discussing.
“There are 6 more clubs interested in Gabriel… we’ll see.”
Done Deal – Lacazette returns to Lyon

According to CBS, Arsenal are confident of signing Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans.
The Belgian’s contract at the King Power Stadium is entering the final year.
He is rated at rumoured £40million.
    Akanji offered to Gunners
In a SunSport exclusive, Arsenal have been offered Borussia Dortmund defender Manuel Akanji.
A deal could be on the table for £21million.
The Swiss international is also being tracked by Man Utd and is set to leave Signal Iduna Park due to the departure of manager Marco Rose and signings of two new central defenders in Niklas Sule and Nico Schlotterbeck.
Borussia Dortmund star Manuel Akanji has been linked with a move to Arsenal
Man City won’t move for Saka this summer
The Mirror are claiming that Bukayo Saka will not be heading to Man City this summer.
The Premier League champions are keeping an eye on him but won’t make a move in this transfer window.
Liverpool and Real Madrid are also reportedly keen, all three clubs would be able to offer the Arsenal ace Champions League football.
Saka in no rush to sign new contract
Bukayo Saka was awarded Arsenal’s player of the season award yesterday for the second successive season but his future could be in doubt.
Reports via 90min claim that the England star is in no rush to sign a new long-term deal at the Gunners.
Man City are believed to be keeping tabs on Saka.
The player is about to enter the final year of his deal but there is an option for an extension to it.
    Good morning Gunners fans
Arsenal have congratulated Bukayo Saka on winning the Player of the Season prize.
The 20-year-old became the first Arsenal player to retain the Player of the Season award since Thierry Henry in 2004.
Arsenal fans are hoping to seal a transfer for Yves Bissouma this summer after the midfielder hinted at a move.
The Brighton star, 25, reposted two comments from an Gunners supporter who revealed their wish to sign Bissouma.
The club appear to have let slip that Eddie Nketiah has signed a long-term contract extension at the Emirates.
Nketiah appeared on a poster previewing Arsenal’s friendly clash against German outfit FC Nurnberg on July 8.
Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly on the cusp of completing a move to Lyon.
The striker left Arsenal on a free transfer and is set to be unveiled by Lyon once he completes a medical.
    Partey name change
Thomas Partey has revealed that he’s now going by a new name Yakubu as part of his conversion to Islam.
But he’ll still be referred to as Partey when playing for Arsenal.
And his shirt will also continue to bear his first name Thomas, the Evening Standard reported.
    Bissouma reposts Gunners fan love
Bissouma is believed to be valued at around £50million by Brighton – the same fee that took Ben White from the south coast to the Emirates last summer.
And fortunately for Mikel Arteta it appears Bissouma is aiming to follow in the England star’s footsteps.
The ex-Lille ace re-posted two messages from an Arsenal fan on Tuesday.
The first comment read: “For me, I think he and Tielemans should be our priority at midfield, we must get [Bissouma] at all costs.”

The supporter followed that up by adding: “I’ve been following up on Bissouma and I think he’s the one to replace Partey long-term, he’s just 25.”
Bissouma’s contract expires in 2023 too which means Brighton could be open to selling as this is their final chance to cash in.
    Bissouma to North London?
Arsenal fans are hoping to seal a transfer for Yves Bissouma this summer after the midfielder hinted at a move.
The Brighton star, 25, reposted two comments from an Arsenal supporter who revealed their wish to sign Bissouma.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Mali international since last summer and it appears Bissouma is keen to join.
And now, just a day after the midfielder’s cryptic posts, The Athletic are reporting Aston Villa have ended their pursuit of the Seagulls’ ace.
Villa were reportedly set to battle Arsenal for Bissouma this summer so their withdrawal from the transfer race is a big boost for the Gunners.
It means technical director Edu has a better chance of agreeing a fee with Brighton although there is still the interest from Monaco to contend with.
    Superstar Saka
Arsenal have congratulated Bukayo Saka on winning the Player of the Season prize.
A statement read: “Bukayo bagged several big goals including key strikes against Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Brentford.
“Our No7 has become the first Arsenal player to retain the Player of the Season award since Thierry Henry in 2004, and only the fourth player to win the trophy back-to-back after Henry, Ian Wright and Liam Brady.
    “Congratulations, Bukayo!”

Bukayo Saka wins Arsenal’s Player of the Season award.
    Well deserved.
The forward scored 11 goals and 7 assists in 38 Premier League games.
This guy causes carnage in opposition defences.

Arsenal’s 2021/22 Player of the Season award rankings are as follows…
    1 – Bukayo Saka
    2 – Martin Odegaard
    3 – Aaron Ramsdale
Have Gunners accidentally leaked Nketiah confirmation?
Arsenal appear to have let slip that Eddie Nketiah has signed a long-term contract extension at the Emirates, writes Jake Lambourne.
The 23-year-old is set to depart North London at the end of June when his current deal expires.
But the England youth international is believed to be ready to extend his stay with Arsenal until 2027.
Judging by an Arsenal promotional poster, the ex-Leeds loanee could have already committed his future.

Nketiah has appeared in a social media post previewing Arsenal’s friendly clash against German outfit FC Nurnberg on July 8.
As it stands, Nketiah wouldn’t be eligible to play against the Bundesliga 2 club as he would be a free agent.
    Is it a sign?
    Lacazette to Lyon ‘nearly complete’
Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly on the cusp of completing a move to Lyon.
The striker left Arsenal on a free transfer and is set to be unveiled by Lyon once he completes a medical.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano who claims Lyon will release an official statement over the move soon.
He said: “Alexandre Lacazette is now set to sign the contract with OL on a free move after medical tests completed. Official statement expected soon.”
    Gnabry’s ‘still a Gunner’
Serge Gnabry “still has Arsenal in him” according to Kevin Campbell amid reports linking the Bayern Munich star with a return to North London.
Campbell told Football Insider: “The likes of Gnabry would fit in seamlessly. He knows the club. It would be the second coming but he knows the club.
“It is not as if it would be all new to him. That part of it is really important. You want new signings to hit the ground running. You would not have to worry about that with Gnabry.
“There is definite legs in it because Gnabry still has Arsenal in him. If the opportunity arises… Wow. He is quality.”
    Partey name change
Thomas Partey has revealed that he’s now going by a new name Yakubu as part of his conversion to Islam.
But he’ll still be referred to as Partey when playing for Arsenal.

New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has held £100million from the price to buy the club in case of “unforeseen liabilities”.
Chelsea are confident no financial rules have been broken.
In a statement Chelsea said: “It is not unusual in these types of transactions, particularly deals completed in an accelerated time frame, to withhold an amount related to any unforeseen liabilities that may arise from transactions that occurred prior to the sale.”

Inter Milan fire sell alerts Chelsea
According to The Times, Inter Milan could sell four key players this summer; Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar, Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez.
As reported yesterday, Chelsea could want Martinez in return for loaning Romelu Lukaku back to the Italian side.
Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Skriniar and Bastoni.
Man Utd and Spurs have also been alerted to this potential mass auction.
    Chelsea in for Richarlison
In a SunSport exclusive, Richarlison wants to leave Everton.
The Brazilian attacker would command a fee of around £65million.
Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid are all in his sights.
Everton could need to offload him as they are cutting costs after narrowly escaping a charge of breaking Premier League financial fair play rules it is unlikely the club will stand in his way for the right price.
Majority owner Farhad Moshiri has overseen losses of £372m over the past three years and has now ordered that the club’s wage bill is slashed over the next two years by up to 70 per cent.
    Kounde won’t be ‘marquee signing’
Chelsea are interested in Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde, just as they were this time last year.
If a deal is to be completed this time around, then according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown, it could not be the biggest name brought in.
He told GiveMeSport: “I don’t think it’s [Kounde] the marquee signing that the owners will try and point to to say, ‘look, we’re back, we’re making a splash.
“I think they’ll try to sign somebody else, whether it’s a forward or a midfielder; I think they are looking for, and need, a bigger name to try and make everyone sit up and say, ‘wow these guys mean business.’”
    Chelsea keen on Skriniar
It was reported yesterday in the Italian press that Chelsea were demanding Lautaro Martinez in return if they loan out Romelu Lukaku.
However, the Blues are also keen on Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni, via Gazzetta dello Sport.
The centre-back duo are both wanted by a host of Premier League clubs such as Spurs and Manchester United.
    Rudiger welcomed by Real Madrid
Antonio Rudiger has played his final game in a Chelsea shirt with him set to join Real Madrid this summer.
The defender told Marca: “I received many offers, but I only considered Real Madrid and Chelsea.
“Ancelotti has called me to tell me how happy him and the whole squad is that I’m joining them.”
The German has signed a deal that runs until June 2026 with the Spanish and European champions.
    Good morning Chelsea fans
Chelsea are reportedly ‘confident’ of landing Barcelona ace Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele will be a free agent at the end of this month and Tuchel – who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund – is clear that he can get the best out of the winger.
Blues fans however, have been left fuming by the look of their potential new shirt after an image was leaked online.

Chelsea fans have been left fuming by the look of their potential new kit after an image was leaked online.
A photo appeared of the Blues’ possible new home shirt with a white collar and with Three still as their sponsor.
Fans were not happy with the design, one simply said: “horrific.”

More supporters used words like “ugly” and “terrible”.
Others took aim at the manufacturers saying: “it’s time to dump Nike.”

Chelsea are reportedly in pole position to land Barcelona ace Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele will be a free agent at the end of this month.
And he’s opted to head to Chelsea to link up with former boss Thomas Tuchel who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund, according to Le10Sport.
PSG were in contention to sign the winger but dropped out of the race in the last few days.
CBS Sports report: “Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that he sees Ousmane Dembele as a player he knows and can get the best out of.
“There is confidence at Chelsea due to PSG pulling out.”
    Saul over
Chelsea duo Reece James and Christian Pulisic bid Saul Niguez farewell after he announced his return to Atletico Madrid.
Pulisic said: “Gonna miss you Hermano”.
And James chimed in with: “My Spanish brother, love you always.”

    Chelsea tribute to kit-man
A Chelsea statement was issued after the death of kit man Eric Asiedu.
It read: “It is with great sadness that Chelsea Football Club has learned of the passing of our colleague Eric Asiedu.
“Eric was a hugely popular figure at our Cobham training ground in his role as Academy kitman, always going about his work with an infectious smile and wonderful positivity. He will be sadly missed by us all and the pain of his sudden passing will be felt by many.
“Affectionately known as ‘boss’ by players and staff alike, Eric went above and beyond to develop strong relationships with those he worked with in the Under-18 age group.
“He was a caring mentor and confidant in the dressing room to players taking their first tentative steps into full-time football, while carrying out his daily duties in meticulous fashion.
“A humble and warm character, Eric joined Chelsea FC in April 2013, his presence and personality proving integral to the values of our Academy culture. He has been a constant on the sidelines during a great many of our youth team successes over the years.”
It added: “Eric’s passion for the job, the players he supported, and his love for Chelsea was evident for all to see and will be sorely missed. All at Chelsea send our deepest condolences to Eric’s family and friends at this most difficult time.”
Or will Lukaku and Martinez be reunited?
If Romelu Lukaku does end up back at Inter Milan and Chelsea do not wangle Martinez, the couple will reunite.
The Argentine netted 21 times in Serie A last season improving his tally of 17 he got alongside Lukaku when they played up front together.
The pair that season registered a combined 41 goals and Simone Inzaghi’s side could want the deadly duo reunited.
In his infamous interview with the Italian press back in December that angered Thomas Tuchel and many Chelsea fans, Lukaku hinted at wanting to play with Martinez again.
He said: “Lautaro Martinez coming here with me at Chelsea in the future?
“No… Lautaro, you can stay in Milan, I’ll be back there.”
    Blues after Martinez
Chelsea reportedly want Lautaro Martinez if they loan Romelu Lukaku back to Inter Milan, writes Alex Smith.
The Belgian striker only arrived in west London last summer after a £97.5million return to Stamford Bridge.
However, Lukaku has made his intentions clear a number of times and would like a return to Inter.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Chelsea are demanding £21million for them to consider loaning the striker back to the Italian side.

As part of the deal they could also look to include an Inter player – and have taken an interest in 24-year-old star Martinez.

A host of Chelsea legends and current stars have paid tribute to academy kit man Eric Asiedu following his death.
The club confirmed the sad news on Wednesday that the much-loved backroom member had passed.

Arsenal in Gabriel Jesus transfer fight as Chelsea ‘begin talks over deal and Tottenham join race for £50m Man City ace’

ARSENAL’S transfer for Gabriel Jesus is now under serious threat after Chelsea and Tottenham both joined the race to sign him, according to reports. While Arsenal have been the front-runner for a deal to sign Jesus for some time, this position now looks to be in jeopardy as their London rivals weigh in.

Jesus has been linked with a move away from Premier League champions Manchester City this summer, with the arrivals of Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland set to see him displaced from a starting role.
In addition, the Brazilian has just one year left on his current deal with The Citizens.
Arsenal have just lost Alexandre Lacazette on a free transfer back to Lyon and got rid of former captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January, so need fresh firepower.
But according to The Times, their North London rivals Spurs have been offered the chance to sign the 25-year-old by Man City.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have also registered their interest in him, with the ongoing saga of Romelu Lukaku’s future meaning the club could allow the £100million flop to return to Inter this summer.
Jesus will certainly leave the club this summer, with City setting their asking price close to £50m, according to Fabrizio Romano.

But, if pre-season promotional posters are anything to go by, the Gunners seem to be confident he’ll be lining up for them eight days later in a friendly.
Arsenal are desperate to keep him at the club after he finally emerged as a first-team starter at the end of the season.
They are reported to have offered the academy graduate a £100,000-a-week deal to stay on.
And, despite initially being set on finding pastures new, the England youth international is believed to be ready to extend his stay with Arsenal until 2027.

‘£43m Gabriel Jesus transfer bid’, Akanji offered to Gunners EXCLUSIVE
Or maybe he has already signed on the dotted line.
Nketiah appeared in a social media post previewing Arsenal’s friendly clash against German outfit FC Nurnberg on July 8.
The centre-forward featured on the poster alongside Brazilian duo Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Magaelhaes and Martin Odegaard.
As it stands, Nketiah wouldn’t be eligible to play against the Bundesliga 2 club as he would be a free agent.
But the fact he is on the post is a huge sign that his future lies at Arsenal.

All that remains now is for Arsenal to officially announce the player’s extension.
Arsenal have been keen to not allow Nketiah to go after Alexandre Lacazette was allowed to depart as he nears an emotional return to Lyon.
Manchester City ace Gabriel Jesus is understood to be a key target, with Mikel Arteta’s side alleged to have made a £43million offer.
A new central midfielder is also believed to be a priority for Arteta, with Leicester’s Youri Tielemans an option.
And the Belgian ace gave Arsenal a boost in their pursuit of him after he declared he is open to quitting the King Power Stadium. More

The Argentine netted 21 times in Serie A last season improving his tally of 17 he got alongside Lukaku when they played up front together.

He said: “Lautaro Martinez coming here with me at Chelsea in the future?
