    Aubameyang, 33, arrived at Barcelona El Prat Airport and was greeted by a number of reporters and fans.
    He posed for selfies and signed autographs… but wouldn’t talk about transfer speculation.
    The former Arsenal man walked back to his car, only to find one of his rear tyres looking flat.
    He subsequently got behind the wheel of his Ferrari 812 to drive away from reporters.

    But he didn’t get very far, appearing to have to stop because of his wonky wheel.
    Chelsea are keen to bring Aubameyang back to London, reuniting him with his former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel in the process.
    While SunSport this week revealed that Man United are also considering a move for the Gabonese star.
    Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo claim that Aubameyang is happy to stay at cash-strapped Barca, having only joined them in January.

    But fellow Spanish outlet AS reckon that Auba is one of three players, along with Memphis Depay and Sergino Dest, that Barcelona are willing to flog to fund a move for Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.
    Silva appeared to say goodbye to City at the weekend, posting a thank you message to fans and walking a lap of the Etihad pitch.
    But Pep Guardiola’s side so far won’t budge on their £84m valuation.

    And he wants the Frenchman, 21, to lead a defensive revolution at Chelsea after losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
    Leicester have already rejected two bids from the Blues, with the last reaching around £70million.
    The Foxes are adamant they are under no pressure to sell, despite failing to make one signing due to a lack of funds.

    And they want at least £85m from Chelsea – a world-record fee for a defender.
    But the Blues are in no rush to offer that sum just yet.
    Chelsea are also targeting reinforcements in several other areas.
    And that could leave Fofana waiting in limbo for the rest of the month.

    He is now said to be pushing hard for a Leicester move.
    And Fofana has begged club chiefs to do a deal with Chelsea as soon as possible.

    Leicester were hoping to pocket £12m for the Dane after accepting a bid from the Cottagers.

    MANCHESTER UNITED are prepared to launch an official bid for Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech, according to reports.The Red Devils have struggled to tempt any of their top transfer targets to Old Trafford this summer.

    Erik ten Hag is still pushing to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona, but the midfielder is reluctant to make the switch.
    And with the transfer window nearing its close, United chiefs are now seeking alternative midfield reinforcements.
    According to French football journalist Nabil Djellit, Man Utd are now set to launch an offer for Ziyech.
    The midfielder has been identified as one of Ten Hag’s priority targets, with claims suggesting that the board would be willing to meet his valuation as long as Chelsea are not too ‘greedy’ with their asking price.

    Ziyech joined Chelsea in a £37million transfer from Ajax in 2020, but has since failed to establish himself as a regular starter in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
    In 83 appearances for the club he’s scored 14 goals and assisted 10.
    He also played a key role in helping Chelsea to the Champions League title in 2021.
    However, following the arrival of Raheem Sterling, the Morocco international is now even less likely to feature in the squad this season.

    But according to the Daily Mail, the squad at Vicarage Road were delighted to see the back of him.
    It is said the dressing room “will be a far more harmonious place” following his departure.
    And the report adds several members of the Watford team were not afraid to express their delight once he had left.
    Dennis only joined the Hornets last summer and scored ten goals in the relegation campaign.

    He failed to score in his two Championship appearances this term before sealing his switch back to the top flight.
    Rob Edwards’ side remain unbeaten with two wins and a draw to sit third in the table.

    The seven-cap Nigerian forward, who scored twice in the Bernabeu for Club Brugge in 2019, will have watched his compatriot Awoniyi score the winner in the 1-0 win over West Ham on Sunday.

    However, Chelsea are thought to be ahead of United in the race.

    Yet the American knows that the longer De Jong’s saga rumbles on, the easier it will become to sign him.
