Nicolo Schira claims Icardi looks destined to leave France this summer after falling out of Christophe Galtier’s plans.
The former Inter Milan captain, 29, scored just four times in Ligue 1 last term.
And partner Wanda, who is also his agent, is on the hunt for a fresh start.
Man United have been strongly linked with a move following doubts over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.

The Red Devils were reportedly ready to make a swoop ahead of transfer deadline day.
But it’s now reckoned Galatasaray are leading the race for Icardi.

The Turkish giants have made several big signings so far, including Napoli’s Dries Mertens, Porto’s Sergio Oliveira and Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira.
But they now want Icardi to lead their charge to a first league title since 2019.

Wanda is known as a tough negotiator in transfers
Man Utd have also been linked with a move for Wanda’s partner Icardi
It’s reckoned Galatasaray are looking to strike an initial loan deal.
And they are willing to cover £2.5million of Icardi’s £10m annual wage.
Incredibly, PSG are so eager for a move to happen that they are happy to cover the other £7.5m.
Icardi and Wanda are now set to hold talks with Gala with the aim of striking an agreement as soon as possible.
It means United will have to look elsewhere if they remain set on signing another striker.
But with Anthony Martial back from injury and Ronaldo appearing to be more settled following Casemiro’s arrival, Erik ten Hag could yet stick with his current options. More

The 24-year-old has been used at both wing-back and in midfield but Arsenal are now keen to move on him.
Maitland-Niles has struggled to nail down a first-team spot at the Emirates since making his debut in 2014, aged just 17.
He also has five caps for England, but none since 2020.
And has already been farmed out on loan to Ipswich, West Brom and Roma as he toiled to grab a starting place at the Gunners.

However, the Hammers have their eye on other midfield targets, such as Club Brugge ace Hans Vanaken.
They are also keen on Chelsea and England star Conor Gallagher.

But they face a battle with Everton to land Gallagher, who was on loan at Crystal Palace last season.
West Ham boss David Moyes is likely to first see how those other deals progress before turning his attention to Maitland-Niles.

Paqueta was born in Rio de Janeiro and came through the Flamengo academy.
He earned his transfer to Europe when AC came calling in 2019 but after just one season he switched to France and settled instantaneously.
His rise in the Brazil national team saw him work with former team coordinator Edu.
Now overseeing transfers at Arsenal, Paqueta’s compatriot said said: “I’m very respectful when I talk about Lucas.
“I’m a guy who likes him a lot, I’ve always liked him, since my time with Brazil’s national team.
“He’s had a great season, he was considered the best [overseas] player in the French league.”

But with Martin Odegaard, Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe already operating in creative midfield roles, the Gunners did not get a transfer done this summer.

Ex-Man Utd star Juan Mata stuck in limbo over Real Betis transfer as club face Barcelona-style salary sanctions

JUAN MATA’S hopes of joining Real Betis have hit the skids due to the LaLiga club’s salary sanctions.Mata, 34, has been a free agent since leaving Manchester United this summer.

The midfielder has been swamped with interest from teams in the MLS since his United exit.
But he’s not interested in a move Stateside, and a switch to Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal doesn’t excite Mata either.
However, Mata’s agreed terms with Betis, but the club have had to pause their pursuit of the Spaniard due to economic restrictions implemented by La Liga chiefs, according to Ondacero.
The Spanish outfit still need to register five players compiled of Luiz Henrique, Joaquín, William Jose, Guardado and Claudio Bravo, before bringing in Mata.

But they’ll need to offload a few stars in order to register the aforementioned bunch, the report adds.
Betis’ economic woes are the reason why they also cooled their interest in Arsenal ace Hector Bellerin.

How Everton could line up after transfer window with no Dele Alli or Anthony Gordon but three new signings

Miguel Almiron has finally hit some decent form at NewcastleCredit: Getty
That sees the Merseysiders, who only narrowly avoided the drop last term, sit 17th – above the relegation zone because they have scored one more than Wolves.
Things have not been helped by the injury to main striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin leaving Lampard short of strikers.
So now the Goodison club are desperately scrambling to secure some business in the closing days of the summer – with the window closing on September 1.
In order to fund new deals, the sale of Anthony Gordon to Chelsea could prove key.

The Blues are set to go in with yet another bid – thought to be around £60million – for the winger, who has told his boyhood club he wants to leave.
Also heading through the exit door is Dele Alli.
The former Spurs man has failed to get his career reignited in the north-west and a move to Turkey with Besiktas looks set to get over the line.
That would free up space and cash for Everton to bolster their squad.

Newcastle ace Miguel Almiron is said to be near the top of the Toffees’ wishlist.
The Toon could be tempted to sell the former club-record signing for the right place as the Paraguayan has struggled to light up St James’ as many hoped following his £20m 2019 arrival from Atalanta United.
Almiron, 28, could play as one of the wide players in the attack of Lampard’s 4-3-3 with Joao Pedro on the other side.
The Watford ace has been linked with Newcastle throughout the window.
However, a deal is yet to be done between the two clubs and Everton could hijack the move in their pursuit of a forward.
Pedro, 20, can play out wide or through the middle as the central striker.

However, the No9 spot could be filled by Armando Broja, 20, in Calvert-Lewin’s absence.
It is thought Everton will try and negotiate a player-plus-cash transfer with Chelsea for Gordon.
And out-of-favour striker Broja – who excelled at Southampton last season – could be a suitable option.
Another name linked with being included in the Gordon deal is Conor Gallagher.
However, Thomas Tuchel has used the 22-year-old midfielder in all three games already this season so could be tempted to keep him – although there is also interest from West Ham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace.
Almiron and Pedro could displace in-form Demarai Gray and new-boy Dwight McNeil out wide with Broja preferred to Salomon Rondon.
Alex Iwobi has been a standout player for Everton of late and is sure to keep his place in midfield, even with the possible arrival of Gallagher.
Should the Chelsea star not join, though, big-money signing Amadou Onana will be hopeful of nailing down a starting spot soon.
