However, The Daily Mail claim that there is an option for the deal to become permanent next summer.
Costa joined Leeds in a £16million transfer from Wolves in 2020 after making an impression during a season-long loan spell.
However, he has gradually fallen down the pecking order at Elland Road.
He was loaned out to Valencia last season, but didn’t make an impact.

In 22 LaLiga appearances, he failed to score any goals and contributed with just one assist.
Now, Costa will look to reignite his career by joining up with former Wolves and Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo in the Saudi Pro League.
Meanwhile, Leeds boss Jesse Marsch has introduced seven new players to his squad this summer.
Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen both joined the club on a permanent deal from Red Bull Salzburg.

Marc Roca and Tyler Adams swapped the Bundesliga for the Premier League after completing moves from Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig respectively.
Darko Gyabi, Luis Sinisterra and Sonny Perkins have also followed suit in making the switch to Elland Road, taking Leeds’ net spend to almost £100m.
However, the club will have to do without two of arguably their biggest names from previous seasons.

Wolves agree £35million fee for Goncalo Guedes with Valencia striker jetting in to seal transfer today

WOLVES plan to plug their striker hole with Goncalo Guedes.Wanderers fans were concerned they were short up front on the eve of the season and that is how it looked in Saturday’s 2-1 opening day defeat at Leeds.

Daniel Podence gave them an early lead at Elland Road but they then failed to capitalise on periods of dominance as the hosts turned it around.
First-choice front-man Raul Jimenez is likely to be sidelined with a knee injury for up to eight games.
And the loan of £35million man Fabio Silva to Anderlecht means boss Bruno Lage is lacking a focal point for his attack.
Now reports have emerged saying they have agreed a deal worth up to £35m for Valencia forward Guedes.

A fee of £27.5m plus add-ons is said to be in place for the Portugal star.
The 25-year-old is thought to be travelling to England today for a medical ahead of signing his contract.
The versatile star can play up front and as a winger and has scored 36 goals in 178 appearances for the La Liga giants.

Erik ten Hag should QUIT Man Utd if he doesn’t get his transfer demands met by greedy Glazers who MUST sell now

ERIK TEN HAG should walk away from the Manchester United job if the club doesn’t supply his summer transfer targets. The Dutch boss has requested Barcelona ace Frenkie de Jong, a right-back, plus a striker.

His swift departure could finally force the Glazer family out of the clubCredit: PA
And if the owners can’t provide him with the trio, he should say “thank you very much,” and leave the club.
It would expose the Glazer family for what they are, heighten tension amongst United’s loyal supporters even further, and hopefully force the careless, greedy American owners to sell.
A deal for Juventus star Adrien Rabiot is reportedly imminent.
But he’s not Ten Hag’s preferred choice as United would’ve signed him two months ago when he was put up for sale.

Alarm bells about United’s transfer strategy were ringing long before the humiliating opening day home defeat to Brighton.
What we saw on the pitch only re-emphasized the desperate position United are in.
Ten Hag is the latest manager not to be backed sufficiently, as the Glazer family run our once great football club into the ground.
Nine of the team that started against Graham Potter’s side were part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick’s squad last season – so really nothing has changed, just the latest helpless coach in charge, trying to navigate his way through a truly awful situation.

It’s not the players’ fault, they certainly looked like they were trying and their performance in the second half, after going two goals behind, definitely wasn’t one of a team that didn’t care.
The truth is most of them are just not good enough.
David de Gea doesn’t command his area and isn’t good enough with his feet. Diogo Dalot can’t defend.
Harry Maguire should never have been given the captaincy.
Fred and Scott McTominay are spoilers trying to blag a career in the centre of midfield, and Marcus Rashford after an impressive pre-season, looks troubled once again.
    WALK AWAY
If Ten Hag did call it a day though, I bet the majority of United fans wouldn’t blame him.
The board knew the likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Jesse Lingard were leaving, yet they haven’t even replaced them.
I don’t know what was said or promised during Ten Hag’s interview and/or when he accepted the job.
I’d be amazed, given what he saw last season, and the lack of quality, if he didn’t insist on much more than what he’s been given.
Yes, the whole world knows how highly De Jong is rated by him, but while that pursuit was ongoing, couldn’t United have signed a forward and additional right sided defender?
It raises the question about funds and how much Ten Hag really has at his disposal.

United have the money, ten Hag needs to spend it, and if the owners don’t give him a hand before the end of the window, you should book yourself a holiday Erik, and wait for another club in Europe.

RB Salzburg are determined to get another year out of the forward, with Sesko himself content with spending the 2022-23 season in Austria.
The deal could be confirmed this week.
Sesko may partner Chelsea flop Timo Werner at RB Leipzig, after the Bundesliga side agreed a £25.3m deal to re-sign the forward from Stamford Bridge.

Man Utd fans all say the same thing after mascot Fred The Red is seen with head in hands after Brighton defeat

MANCHESTER UNITED mascot Fred the Red summed up the mood at Old Trafford after the club’s 2-1 loss to Brighton. The Red Devils imploded in the first half due to a brace by Pascal Gross who opened the scoring after half hour.

Things didn’t get better for United throughout the game.
And their performance was too painful to watch for club mascot Fred the Red.
At one point, he was captured leaning on a goalpost turned away from the action with his head in his hands.
He seemed to be the visual representation of how United’s supporters were feeling as boos echoed around the Theatre of Dreams.

United’s cause wasn’t helped by the scout’s namesake and club star Fred, who had a nightmare in the middle of the park.
The Brazilian was at fault for Brighton’s second goal and was promptly hauled off early in the last period.
And fans on Twitter joked that Fred the Red would’ve done a better job on the day than the midfielder.
One fan reacted under the image released by B/R Football: “They would have been better putting Fred the red on instead of Fred the so called midfielder.”

While another consoled the mascot saying: “Come On Fred you just happen to share the same name with the worst player on the pitch and it’s not your fault.”
A third quipped: “Fred just realised that shifting the goalposts isn’t going to stave off the inevitable for ManU!”
Fred the Red’s reaction was mild compared to the bunch of United fans who started fighting amongst themselves during the match.
The chaos on the pitch spilled into the South Stand where two supporters clashed for an unknown reason.
But the pair simmered down after a brief period of grappling that ended with a hostile stand-off.
United’s horror start to the season has led to boss Erik ten Hag launching a surprise bid for former West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic.
The move has shocked fans and pundits alike with club legend Gary Neville admitting he’s been left speechless by the offer. More

But De Jong’s resistance hasn’t deterred the Red Devils who hope to cajole the midfielder into a move by offering him a contract worth £450,000-a-week.
And it was clear to see why United are prepared to make him the club’s highest-paid player as he shone at the Nou Camp on Sunday night.
Footage from the clash shows the Dutch ace send former team-mate Dani Alves the wrong way before charging into enemy territory from his own half – leaving a slew of opponents behind with his blistering pace.
He then split the defence in two with a mesmerising pass that should’ve resulted in a goal.

Not that it mattered anyway as Barca were already 5-0 up at that point.
De Jong then put the game to bed in the 84th minute, and his display left United fans lamenting on Twitter about how they need him after witnessing their team crumble to Brighton.
However, De Jong wasn’t the only star on fire for Barca.
It was Lewandowski’s first appearance at the Nou Camp since completing his summer move from Bayern Munich – and it’s safe to say he wasn’t phased by the occasion.

The 33-year-old opened the scoring after just three minutes in style when he rounded Puma’s keeper before curling the ball into the net from the tightest of angles.
The striker then turned provider when he sumptuously served Pedri with deft through balls twice.
Lewandowski’s second assist was a thing of beauty as he cheekily back-heeled the ball into the incoming Pedri’s path who went on a brief run before slotting home.
However, Barca are going to have to make some cuts to their squad in order to register Lewandowski, plus fellow new signings Jules Kounde and Raphinha.
Reports claim LaLiga have issued Barca the ultimatum ahead of the new season to reduce the club’s crippling debt load. More
