But Fabrizio Romano claims Boga is on the brink of a second shot at England’s top flight as Leicester prepare a bid for deadline day.
Boga came up through Chelsea’s Cobham academy after moving to London from Marseille in 2009.
His time at Stamford Bridge saw the versatile attacker enjoy loans at Rennes, Granada and Birmingham.
But he only ever made one Premier League appearance for Chelsea before being sold to Sassuolo in 2018.

Boga found his feet with the Serie A side, sparking talk of a return to the Blues in 2020.
Everton were also linked with a massive £35million switch.
But Boga instead stayed put at Sassulo until securing a loan move to Atalanta in January.
The deal was made permanent for around £20m this summer.

And Chelsea received a tasty chunk of the proceeds after including a sell-on fee in his move to Sassuolo.
However, Atalanta are now open to parting ways with Boga just months after signing him.
And Leicester are looking to pounce after pocketing £70m from Wesley Fofana’s move to Chelsea.
Boga would bring pace and power to Leicester’s frontline.
And he would certainly be welcomed warmly by fans, who are yet to see one single outfield signing pass through the doors at the King Power Stadium. More

A third said: “Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has re-signed for Reading on a season-long loan deal. Yes, he’s still on Chelsea’s books.”
While another Chelsea fan chimed in to question why the Blues have not terminated his contract, adding: “Not sure why we didn’t just rip his contract up but at least he’s out on loan again.”

With no official bids currently on the table, the chances of sealing a deal before the 11pm curfew are looking increasingly slim.

SunSport have considered five midfield prospects that Arsenal could attempt to snatch up before the deadline.

Tielemans has been linked with a move to the Emirates since the transfer window opened in June.
The Belgium international recently made it clear that he wants to leave Leicester and with less than 12 months remaining on his current deal he has become available for a cut-price fee of just £20million.
Arsenal had reportedly been waiting for his previous £40m price tag to be slashed so now would be the perfect opportunity for club chiefs to table an offer.

    Ruben Neves

Another name on the long list of players Arsenal have been linked with is Neves.
The Wolves midfielder has been hailed one of the Premier League’s top talents since arriving at Molineux in 2017.
He plays an integral role in Bruno Lage’s squad, so a substantial fee would be needed to attempt to reach an agreement.
Arsenal have already struggled to negotiate a deal with the West Midlands side for top target Pedro Neto, who was valued at £45m, so Arteta may be deterred from going into business with them again.
Neves is claimed to be valued at a whopping £75m so the Gunners may be more inclined to opt for a more affordable player.
    Danilo

Arsenal reportedly lodged a late £20m offer for Palmeiras midfielder Danilo on Tuesday which was rejected.
The 21-year-old regularly takes up a more defensive role for the Brazilian side so he could be the perfect candidate to compensate for the absence of Elneny and Partey.
The Gunners may have to increase their offer to £21.5m if they want to prise him away from Palmeiras.

    Matt O’Riley

Celtic youngster Matt O’Riley is also on Arteta’s radar.
The English-born Denmark U21 international, who has been hailed a “proper player” by Kenny Dalglish, has impressed for the Scottish Premiership champions this season.
He claimed two assists during Celtic’s 9-0 thrashing of Dundee United on Sunday.
And his form has attracted interest from both the Gunners and Manchester United.
The Bhoys are understood to be expecting £20m for the centre midfielder – a fee of which Arsenal would likely be willing to match.
    Miralem Pjanic

Although Pjanic hasn’t been directly linked with a move to Arsenal, he could be an easy capture ahead of deadline day.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has fallen out-of-favour at Barcelona.
He spent last season on loan with Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas where he made 26 appearances across all competitions.
But, he is yet to feature for Xavi’s side this campaign.
Pjanic has two years remaining on his current contract, but cash-strapped Barcelona could allow him to leave for a reduced fee before the window shuts. More

And now The Athletic say Aubameyang, 33, is believed to have suffered a fractured jaw during the terrifying ordeal.
He is set to be out of action for a number of weeks and could potentially undergo surgery.
Going under the knife would see him return to action sooner than waiting for his jaw to heal naturally.
But it has complicated his potential transfer to Chelsea.

Talks between Barca and the Blues over a deal for Aubameyang are set to continue today.
With the transfer window closing tomorrow, an agreement between the two clubs on a fee is yet to be reached.
Aubameyang has also not accepted personal terms yet, although it is claimed the matter will be resolved if the two clubs thrash out a deal.
But the fact the former Arsenal man has suffered a reported broken jaw means he could only be available for a handful of games before the World Cup.

The deal is not thought to be dead in the water – but it has thrown a spanner in the works.
The Blues though are sympathetic and still willing to continue discussions, according to Sky reporter Dharmesh Seth.
Sky also say Aubameyang is only set to be out for three weeks and can resume non-contact training next week.
Up to now cash-strapped Barca had been holding out for more money than the Blues wanted to pay.
With Thomas Tuchel desperate to add a striker before the window slams shut, a loan move to Stamford Bridge is also now thought to be a possibility.
Aubameyang and his wife, Alysha Behague, were reportedly handcuffed and tied up in front of their kids Curtys, 11, and Pierre, six, by the burglars.
Alysha, 36, is also claimed to have been hit over the head during the break-in at their home in Castelldefels, near Barcelona.
