Todd Boehly splashed out on several exciting signings during his first window at the helm, including Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Former Brighton boss Graham Potter is now in charge and faces his first test in the dugout against RB Salzburg on Wednesday.
The English tactician will implement his own unique brand of football at the club.

Potter’s position as boss is not dependent on qualifying for the Champions League, with his appointment on a five-year deal seen as a long-term project.
But the Standard adds Boehly has still set him the goal of keeping Chelsea in Europe’s top competition.
And the American is ready to splurge once more after a record-breaking summer window.
As well as Sterling and Aubameyang, Chelsea signed Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana for sizable fees.
Denis Zakaria was snapped up on loan from Juventus on deadline day.
And good money was also spent on youngsters including Carney Chukwuemeka.
Meanwhile, Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja are back at Chelsea following successful loans away last term. More

And they chose to spend £18m bringing in Sadiq from Almeria to fill the void.
The Nigerian striker, 25, managed just three games for his new club before picking up an ACL injury.
He scored on his debut against Atletico Madrid and also netted twice for newly-promoted Almeria prior to his move.
But the chances of him finding the back of the net again this season now appears unlikely.
Real Sociedad confirmed the forward has suffered a “rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament” and is now set to undergo surgery.

Spanish media report Sadiq will not be able to play any more part of the season.
Sociedad were hoping to build on their sixth-place finish in LaLiga last season and go far in the Europa League, where they find themselves in the same group as Manchester United.
Imanol Alguacil’s side usually play with two strikers and will have to rely on ex-Real Madrid youngster Takefusa Kubo, fellow new signing Momo Cho and ex-Crystal Palace flop Alexander Sorloth for goals.
The club relied heavily on their defence last season – netting just 40 goals in 38 matches – and may have to do the same again this term.

But despite Lewandowski being the second-top scorer in Bundesliga history, while also holding several records for goals, Rumminegge does NOT count him in Bayern’s top three signings.
According to Sky, he believes “Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben and Manuel Neuer” have all proven to be more important transfers than Lewandowski – and “in this order” too.

Eriksen said: ‘It is one of the biggest clubs in the world. It was a redemption after what had happened — like proving you could get an offer from United.
