“They consider Mudryk a top talent and so Arsenal are still there but let’s see because now the race is open with many top clubs, but Arsenal will be busy in the next few weeks.”
SunSport understands The Gunners are planning a trio of transfers in the January transfer window, with Mudryk, Yeremy Pino and Palmeiras star Danilo all lined up.

This includes three goals and two assists in the Champions League group stages as his club came third in their group.
But following their elimination from the group stages they have been offered a European lifeline in the Europa League round of 32 play-off against Rennes.
Other clubs who shared the same fate were not so lucky however, with Barcelona facing a nightmare draw against Manchester United. More

MANCHESTER UNITED star Facundo Pellistri is hoping to leave in January, according to reports. The winger has not played a single minute under Erik ten Hag and he is still waiting for his senior debut for the Red Devils.
Facundo Pellistri reportedly wants to leave Man UtdCredit: PA
He missed out on a loan move away in the summer due to injury and now he’s recovered he finds himself as something of a forgotten man.
Pellistri joined the club in 2020 for a fee of around £9million from Uruguayan side Penarol.
He was dubbed a wonderkid when he signed and was recommended to the club by ex-striker Diego Forlan before they beat Lyon to his signature.
Pellistri was loaned out to LaLiga outfit Deportivo Alaves for 18 months, playing 35 times but failing to register a goal or assist.

His contract expires in 2025 and there is a chance he could leave Old Trafford temporarily to rediscover his form but reports from outlet AS suggest he would prefer a permanent switch.
United are reportedly hoping he will have a good World Cup for Uruguay so they can sell him for more.
The emergence of fellow youngster Alejandro Garnacho means Pellistri’s days are numbered and opportunities are blocked.
The 20-year-old could be one of a number of outcasts allowed to leave by Ten Hag as he looks to overhaul the squad.

As revealed by Splinter, leaked emails showed 81-year-old Joe writing: “Christians and Jews can have a mutual respect for each other to create a civil society.
“As you know, Islam cannot do that. Therefore we cannot ever let Islam become a large part of our society.
“Muslims are naturally my (our) enemy due to their deep antagonism and bias against non-Muslims.”
Ricketts also says in an exchange with son Pete, a serving politician, that he believes Islam “is a cult and not a religion”.
He went on to say the religion of Islam is “Based on ‘kill the infidel’ a thing of evil”.
The Ricketts family did make it through to the next round of bidding despite the leaked emails.

But Chelsea fans then protested the Ricketts potential takeover outside Stamford Bridge before their clash with Brentford in April.
They subsequently missed out on purchasing the club, but could now return to English football to try and agree a deal for Liverpool. More

West Ham fans booed their team off the pitch at the end of the game, with the club two points above the relegation zone following just four wins from their opening 14 matches.
The home supporters also jeered substitutions made by Moyes towards the end of the clash.
But, according to The Athletic, the east London outfit will keep their faith in the Scottish coach.
Moyes has guided West Ham to sixth and seventh place finishes over the past two Premier League seasons.

He also led them to a Europa League semi-final back in May – which they lost to eventual winners Eintracht Frankfurt.
The former Everton and Manchester United boss has a contract with the Hammers until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
And he hit back at the booing of fans on Sunday, in particular in response to their anger at Manuel Lanzini replacing Said Benrahma.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: “I thought he scored a good goal, but I don’t know if he had much of an impact after.

“There’s a lot of experts out there, isn’t there?”
Moyes’ West Ham have won just one of their last five Premier League games.
And captain Declan Rice admitted after the match that the supporters were right to boo their performance.
He said: “Fans can voice their opinions. They pay their hard-earned money.
“They’re probably right to boo us in a way because we weren’t good enough.
“From the way I’m feeling and the way I saw the lads, I’m devastated. That was a game we had to win.
“Two big games before the World Cup and you lose one of them so you’re counting on the next game.
“In the last couple of years we’d have won a game like this and been comfortable in the table.
“It’s really frustrating. I feel like we’re two different teams [from last season].
“We can keep the ball for fun in some away games and then at home we look a different team.
“It’s been good in Europe but we’re too inconsistent in the Premier League. We’ll bounce back for sure.”
West Ham are five points adrift of the top half of the table, with their final league match before the World Cup break coming at home to Leicester on Saturday.

But their Europa Conference League campaign has been much more positive thus far.

Pep Guardiola drops biggest hint yet that he will agree new Man City deal with contract up in the summer

PEP GUARDIOLA has given the clearest indication yet he will stay at Manchester City beyond the end of his contract in the summer. The Etihad chief previously said the World Cup break will be the ideal time for him to chat to club bosses about his future.

And he has also indicated much will depend on if his Man City players are still responding to his methods after his six-and-a-half-year hot-seat stint.
But with not long to go until he waves his stars off for a month or so, he admits they are giving him the energy and enthusiasm to keep going.
Pep said: “I give them enthusiasm — but they give it to me.
“The way they play, what I saw for 65 minutes, I see the faces of our people, they give me the energy for the future, for Chelsea and Brentford.

“There are things you cannot see, like how happy they were in locker room and the training was perfect — even the guys who didn’t play were amazing in training.
“That made me think we are there. That makes me feel really happy, we are able to do it all together and that’s really good.”
City are hoping to organise a warm-weather training camp in Abu Dhabi in December for the players not involved in the latter stages at the World Cup.
Owner Sheikh Mansour and chairman Khaldoon al Mubarak are both based in the Middle East and the trip would provide the perfect opportunity to talk about a possible extension.

Much is likely to depend on whether Guardiola’s family are happy for him to continue.
His wife Cristina moved back to Barcelona in 2019 with their youngest daughter, so will have to give the thumbs-up to any new deal.
Pep plans to take a couple of weeks off after Saturday’s clash with Brentford, before getting back to work early next month. More

Man Utd will let Aaron Wan-Bissaka join Crystal Palace in loan transfer after playing just FOUR MINUTES for Erik ten Hag

MANCHESTER UNITED will let Aaron Wan-Bissaka go ‘home’ to Crystal Palace if the clubs can agree a loan deal.Wan-Bissaka is well out of favour under Erik ten Hag — playing just four minutes for the first team as a substitute back in August and only getting a brief look at the bench in recent weeks.

Palace boss Patrick Vieira would take their former defender back but a loan move is the only way he can afford him — and that will take some negotiating.
Wan-Bissaka, 24, needs a fresh start after his Old Trafford move turned into a nightmare.
United paid £45million for the right-back in the summer of 2019.
But their chances of getting decent money from selling are limited because of his fall from grace and the fact he has less than two years left on a five-year deal.

Palace may have to pick up all of Wan-Bissaka’s £80,000-a-week wages making it an expensive deal even without having to pay a transfer fee.
Wan-Bissaka will also want his long-term future sorted, adding a further complication to negotiating a return to Selhurst Park.
Meanwhile, Vieira is planning to let teenager Malcolm Ebiowei go out on loan to give him game time.
The exciting wideman joined from Derby last summer and figures regularly on the bench for Palace.

Yet Ebiowei, 19, has made just three first-team appearances and a move, probably to the Championship, would help his progress.
Ebiowei scored and starred for Palace Under-23s against Arsenal last week but needs games at a good level to stay sharp. More

The Red Devils have only conceded once in their last seven games — a penalty in the 1–1 draw with Chelsea.
Ronaldo missed that Stamford Bridge clash after Ten Hag axed him for refusing to go on as a sub in the 2–0 win over Tottenham and then walking down the tunnel five minutes before the final whistle.
But CR7 is back in Ten Hag’s good books after he hailed the forward for his tracking back.
Ten Hag said: “We defend with 11, starting with Cristiano up front.

“So we are hard to beat as a team. That’s a compliment but it’s also that process we have to keep going.
“That makes it hard to beat us because everyone is convinced of that plan, everyone is disciplined in that plan.
“When we play with the desire and passion, we are hard to beat and that makes us, in this moment, successful.”
Desire and passion were not the first words former Ajax boss Ten Hag would have used to describe superstar Ronaldo – who went into a super sulk.

Ronaldo, 37, was already on a warning from Ten Hag having left Old Trafford at half-time after being replaced in a pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano.
Ronaldo’s act of contrition was accepted, so he started in the 3–0 Europa League win over Sheriff Tiraspol — scoring the 701st club goal of his career.
And he has been there at kick–off ever since, against West Ham and Real Sociedad and, again, NO goals have been conceded.
Ronaldo will be up front again at Villa Park on Sunday.
However, his Portuguese team-mate Bruno Fernandes will be missing, suspended after picking up five bookings.
Ten Hag has always been adamant that no player — not even a scoring phenomenon like Ronaldo — is irreplaceable.
But fiery playmaker Fernandes has figured in every game under the new Red Devils boss and he admitted: “Yeah, until now, Bruno is so important for us.
“In every match, he plays really good — as a No 10, he’s playing really good games and we have to replace him.
“That’s the squad. You need a squad, it’s not about 11 players.
“You need a squad to win in a season and now we have to replace him and we will do.”
As United fans start believing a Champions League place can be achieved this season, against all expectations, they have voted new-boys Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez first and second in the club’s player of the month awards.
Yet Ten Hag underscores the new togetherness among his players as a major factor in how the midfielder and defender have settled down.
He explained: “The signings thank the squad.
“They are the right players with the right players who were already there. And together, they are forming a team and the team spirit is good — it’s high.
