Newcastle tipped to seal shock Harry Kane and Son Heung-min transfer in huge raid on Premier League rivals Tottenham

HARRY KANE and Son Heung-Min have been tipped to seal a sensational double transfer to Newcastle. The pair are Tottenham’s prized assets and it would take a gargantuan effort to bring both to St James’ Park.

Kane and Son have proved deadly for Spurs this season, though Kane in particular is having a fine season
But this has not stopped ex-midfielder Nobby Solano from speculating the club could go all out to sign the pair.
Speaking on No Tippy Tappy Football, from William Hill and Footy Accumulators, Solano was asked what one player he would sign for Newcastle.

In response, he said: “I’ve got two. I’ve been watching a little bit and would love to see Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in black and white.
“Somebody told me Newcastle had unlimited cash. If they signed [Kane], they’d definitely finish in the Champions League.

“He’s still quite young at 29, and he’s just a phenomenal player.”
Kane in particular has been in fantastic form once again this season.
The England skipper has 16 goals in the Premier League, sitting only behind Erling Haaland’s outrageous tally of 25.
Kane will have one year left on his current deal once the summer rolls around, and Erik ten Hag has reportedly made signing Kane for Manchester United his No1 priority in the summer.

United are in need of a top-class striker to take the next step under Ten Hag, but Kane is also wanted by Bayern Munich.
With Tottenham’s Champions League status also hanging in the balance – likely with Man Utd and Newcastle’s respective fates intertwined as well – Kane may opt to go where the best football is.
However, Newcastle’s place in the Carabao Cup has led to Solano declaring a cup win to be more important than a top-four spot.
He added: “I think Newcastle will finish in the Europa League places.
“It’s more important for them to win a trophy – the fans are desperate for any piece of silverware.
“They’ve now got a wonderful opportunity to win the League Cup, so Eddie [Howe] will have everyone – including myself – supporting them. I think the fans deserve it, they’re lovely people.
“They’ve got a great chance against Southampton, who aren’t in the best of places in the league, so it’s a brilliant opportunity for them to finally win some silverware this season.”
Solano made 315 appearances for Newcastle between 1998 and 2007, though had a two-year spell at Aston Villa from 2004 to 2006. More

Antonio, 32, has made just nine Premier League starts this campaign following the £30.5million summer arrival of Gianluca Scamacca.
And the £15m signing of Danny Ings this month has pushed the Jamaica international down the pecking order even further.

SunSport believe the player’s name has also been circulating around several teams in the United States.

If he was to leave, boss David Moyes would rather he did not join a side currently battling with West Ham at the bottom of the league.
But with both Scamacca and Ings struggling with knee injuries, it is incredibly unlikely the Irons will let Antonio go this month.
West Ham have only scored 17 goals in 20 top-flight games so far this season, with Antonio notching just two of those.
His contract expires in 2024 and there is also an option for a one-year extension.

However, following Mikel Arteta’s admittance that Arsenal “need more cover in midfield”, they have now thrown their hat in the ring to hijack the deal.
According to Corriere dello Sport in Italy, Leeds have made first contact to sign McKennie in a deal worth up to £26million.

Arsenal coming into the picture has changed the scene however, and McKennie would be far more open to moving to the Emirates than Elland Road.
The report suggests if the Gunners convert their interest into a “concrete lunge” then a deal will be a formality.

A separate report from Calciomercato indicates McKennie’s agent is already in London to hear more about the offer from Leeds.
Leeds have a strong American contingent at the heart of the club, including midfielder Tyler Adams – who partnered McKennie in midfield at the World Cup – and manager Jesse Marsch.
But the pull of impending Champions League football which Arsenal seem all but certain to be able to offer next season could be too strong of a pulling factor for him.
Juventus are happy to let the 24-year-old go despite recently being slapped with a 15-point penalty after they were found to have inflated transfer fees for players as part of a tax scam.

Porro, 23, is their main target and they are growing increasingly confident of completing a £40million deal.
An offer of £32.5m has already been rejected this month, with Portuguese side Sporting remaining stubborn over the player’s £40m release clause.
But SunSport understands that following talks between both clubs over the past two days, an agreement is close to being reached to meet that figure this window.
Now that transfer looks closer to being completed after The Athletic claimed that Sporting have “approached Brighton about signing Lamptey” on loan.

Everton rejected transfers for Bruno Guimaraes and Eder Militao before pair went on to shine for Newcastle and Madrid

EVERTON allegedly snubbed the chance to sign Bruno Guimaraes and Eder Militao before the pair went on to shine for Newcastle and Real Madrid. The Toffees are in disarray and deep in a relegation dogfight as they search for a new manager to replace the axed Frank Lampard.

It comes amid years of poor recruitment, with talkSPORT host Simon Jordan claiming this week that agent Kia Joorabchian had too much influence at Goodison Park.
He was involved in a deal that brought his client Carlo Ancelotti to the club as manager in 2019 and his questions have been raised about his relationship with majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri.
Jordan accused him of pulling the strings at Everton – which led to the super-agent calling into the White and Jordan show to hit back at those claims.
And during the telephone call, Joorabchian revealed that he had been largely ignored by the Blues’ hierarchy over recent years when it came to transfers as he listed some of the big names they snubbed.

Joorabchian said: “Of course, as we do, we offered him many, many players, and they turned them all down.
“All the signings of the summer – James Tarkowski, Conor Coady, Neal Maupay, Dwight McNeil, the list goes on, all the loans and signings they [Everton] did – were done purely by them and the board. We didn’t have any involvement whatsoever.
“We speak to all the owners, I speak to quite a few club owners, but the point is, what is our job? Our job is to present what we have as a client list and say, ‘This is what we have’.
“And Everton haven’t taken any of our advice. So we can’t be that influential.”

“Diego Carlos when he was leaving Nantes, we offered him [to Everton] at £11m before he went to Sevilla, and now he’s at Aston Villa.
“We offered them Eder Militao when he was leaving [first club Sao Paulo in Brazil, before he joined Porto – now he’s staring at Real Madrid].” More
