The former Borussia Dortmund forward was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea at the end of last season.
But he ended up penning a new deal to keep him at Barcelona until 2024.
Dembele, who joined for £135.5million in 2017, has registered eight goals and seven assists in the 2022/23 campaign.
However, Calcio Mercato are reporting he is still set to be sold this summer.

And ex-Manchester City attacker Ferran Torres is another expected to make way as Xavi attempts to cobble together the funds to sign Italian star Chiesa.
Torres, 23, has bagged just 12 goals in 59 games for the Catalan giants.
It is a poor return for the £50million Barcelona shelled out for him in January 2022.
If the LaLiga leaders are successful in offloading Dembele and Torres, they will look to sign Chiesa from Juventus.

The Serie A club were handed a 15-point deduction for a transfer scam earlier this season.
And it means missing out on Champions League football is set to force them to sell players.
Adrien Rabiot and Dusan Vlahoic are two stars being linked with a departure.
Chiesa is another in danger of leaving – with Barcelona monitoring his situation.
The former Fiorentina man, 25, has bagged 20 goals in 77 appearances for Juventus.
He has also netted four times in 40 games for Italy.
Barcelona’s desire to keep signing players comes after LaLiga president Javier Tebas insisted earlier this month they are effectively under a transfer ban as they will be unable to register players.
Speaking at the FT Business of Football summit in London, Tebas said: “As of today, Barcelona doesn’t have any room in its budget to spend in the upcoming transfer window.
“Barcelona has been involved in questionable behaviour which has had an impact on LaLiga – and we are acting accordingly.” More

Man Utd star Alex Telles not wanted by Sevilla on permanent transfer after full-back’s loan spell

SEVILLA allegedly do not want to sign Alex Telles permanently from Manchester United this summer. The 30-year-old Brazilian international left-back joined the Red Devils from Porto for £15.8million in 2020.

But Telles was deemed surplus to requirements at United by Erik ten Hag.
He made just 26 appearances last season, netting once in the Champions League and providing four assists in the Premier League.
That led to him joining Sevilla on a season-long loan back at the beginning of the campaign
That agreement between the two clubs, who have just been drawn together in the Europa League quarter finals, did not include an option to buy.

However, the Daily Mirror is now claiming that they have no intentions to try and keep him.
Discussing his future recently, Telles said: “I don’t think about the future because that depends on what I do now. Now I have to play and train.
“I’ve always said that I’m happy at Sevilla, I’m treated very well and now I have to play and do my best, which is the most important thing.”
Tyrell Malacia, 23, arrived at Old Trafford at the start of the season to add further competition at left-back.

And it has been Luke Shaw that has been Ten Hag’s preferred choice there.

It seems highly-unlikely that Telles will be given an opportunity to impress back at United, which means he looks set to have to find himself a new club.
He has featured 26 times so far this term for Sevilla.
But despite their progress in Europe, they have struggled domestically, sitting a lowly 13th in LaLiga. More

The annual wage bill for each Premier League club
That is a world away from the biggest budget in the Premier League – which is held by Chelsea at £212m.
Todd Boehly’s £600m spending spree over the last nine months has seen them edge ahead of Man Utd in the wage bill standings – with the Red Devils shelling out £211m.
They are followed by Man City at £182m, Liverpool at £158m and Tottenham at £110m.
Then come Arsenal – the first side limiting their wage bill to under the £100m mark.

The biggest budgets outside of the top six come from Aston Villa, Everton, West Ham and Newcastle – all between £76m and £90m.
They are followed by Leicester, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Wolves and Southampton.
Among the most threadbare wage bills are Leeds, Bournemouth and seventh-place Brighton – who spend just £35m per year on their players’ salaries.
But the smallest annual wage bill is Brentford’s.
Thomas Frank’s entire squad earns just over £30m per year – but are punching well above their financial weight as they sit eighth in the Premier League table. More
