Seven Man Utd stars who have just 12 games to save their club careers including McTominay and Maguire

MANCHESTER UNITED manager Erik ten Hag has some major decisions to make at the end of the season.Ten Hag currently has a lot on his plate with United chasing a surprise treble, trying to land the FA Cup and Europa League after winning the Carabao Cup.

However, the Dutchman’s Old Trafford rebuild will continue in the summer and some players will have to make way for incoming stars.
The 53-year-old gaffer will have to raise funds to make signings, especially if the Red Devils miss out on Champions League qualification.
That is why some players, who have failed to impress Ten Hag, will be sold in the summer transfer window – unless they manage to change his mind in the next 12 Premier League games.
SunSport take a look at the SEVEN players who could be on their way…

    ANTHONY MARTIAL
FRENCH striker enjoyed a little revival under Ten Hag, but nothing close to Marcus Rashford’s success.
A raft of injuries have halted Martial’s resurgence and Ten Hag appears to be prioritising a striker to replace Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.
The France international’s contract also runs out in 2024, and United may want to cash in on him at the end of the season.

    SCOTT McTOMINAY
THE midfielder has fallen down the pecking order with Ten Hag preferring the likes of Fred, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Marcel Sabitzer in the centre of the park.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is a big admirer of McTominay, who would command a lucrative fee and appears keen to move to Tyneside in the summer as he would get more opportunities.
    WOUT WEGHORST
THE Dutch striker joined United on loan from Burnley in January to fill in for Ronaldo but has so far failed to even come close to eclipsing the club legend.
Weghorst is not the man to spearhead United’s attack and should be on his way back to Vincent Kompany’s Clarets once his deal runs out in June.

    AARON WAN-BISSAKA
TEN HAG doesn’t consider Wan-Bissaka as his starting right-back and prefers Diogo Dalot.
Wan-Bissaka’s contract runs out next year and United might opt to cash in amid intense interest from his former club Crystal Palace.

    DAVID DE GEA
THE Spanish keeper still inspires tremendous confidence between Manchester United’s sticks.
But De Gea’s lucrative contract runs out in June and United will only extend his 12-year stay at Old Trafford if he agrees to a lower salary amid an upcoming wage restructure.
That is a deal the Spain international is keen to take, but the Red Devils are keeping tabs on other goalkeepers as well.

    HARRY MAGUIRE
STILL Manchester United’s club captain but Maguire has fallen down the pecking order behind Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
And Ten Hag has often preferred to start left-back Luke Shaw at centre-back even when Maguire was fit.
The England international is running out of time and appears set for the exit door amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan.

    MARCEL SABITZER
The Austrian joined Red Devils on loan from Bayern Munich to fill in for the injured Christian Eriksen in midfield.
Eriksen looks bound to return to Ten Hag’s starting line-up next season as Sabitzer has yet to convince his manager and club’s hierarchy to meet his reported £18m release clause. More

Tottenham and Chelsea are also admirers of Ferguson, who is having a breakout season for the Seagulls.
But the 18-year-old is in no hurry to leave Brighton and believes his development will be better served by remaining at a club where he will have more opportunities to play first-team football.
Ferguson followed up his two goals in the Seagulls’ 5-0 FA Cup win over Grimsby by scoring on his first start for the Republic of Ireland, in last week’s friendly win over Latvia.
The teenager has netted seven goals in all competition for Brighton this season in 16 matches.

The Red Devils view signing a striker as a priority in the summer and Ferguson may not be the only attacker through the door.

Man City ready to make Haaland Prem’s top earner with £500k-a-week salary, to stave off Real Madrid transfer interest

MANCHESTER CITY are ready to make Erling Haaland the Premier League’s top earner — and kill off talk of a Real Madrid raid.Etihad bosses will sit down with the 42-goal striker at the end of the season to discuss a new £500,000-a-week deal.
Man City are ready to give Haaland a mega new deal to ward off interest from Real MadridCredit: PA
Haaland is in the first year of a contract that runs until 2027 and City plan to extend that by 12 months.
They are keen to reward him for a sensational first year in England — and KO Real’s hopes of taking the Norwegian, 22, to LaLiga in the near future.
Haaland currently earns a weekly wage of £375k — the  Prem’s joint-highest with team-mate Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea — with various additional clauses.
Yet his agent Rafaela Pimenta has fuelled rumours of a switch to Madrid at some stage, claiming Real is the “dream” move for players.

And the Spanish giants are said to have an ‘Operation Haaland’ plan.
Sources close to Haaland insist he is entirely happy in Manchester but City are keen to send a firm ‘hands off’ message.
And they believe a new deal, running to the end of the 2028 season and recognising his incredible debut campaign, will do exactly that.
City beat off Real in triggering his £51.4million release clause from Borussia Dortmund last summer — and his value has since quadrupled.

Haaland demanded a release clause in his  initial agreement but sources insist it no longer applies after City boss Pep Guardiola extended his own deal by another two seasons at the start of the year.
The striker is nearing a half-century of goals for City and struck his SIXTH hat-trick of the season in last week’s FA Cup win over Burnley.
City also hope ending any speculation about his future will help convince Dortmund pal Jude Bellingham to join him in Manchester this summer.
It is understood Haaland’s camp have given indications they are keen to hold talks and City are convinced he will follow  Julian Alvarez’s lead.
The Argentine World Cup winner was handed a pay hike after adding another season to his deal, despite only joining in January 2022.
Meanwhile, City will demand their money back if Kalvin Phillips leaves the Etihad.
Former club Leeds, West Ham and Newcastle are all interested in the midfielder, who has had a nightmare time since his £42m move from Yorkshire last summer.
The Hammers were KO’d with a January loan inquiry but Phillips  has still not started a Prem game after recovering from shoulder surgery. More

West Ham keen on Viktor Gyokeres transfer as Moyes looks to £20m Coventry striker to put pressure on Scamacca

WEST HAM boss David Moyes looks set to move for Coventry’s Viktor Gyokeres after making a personal check on the striker.Moyes has watched the Swede intently as he knows he may need a new forward or two in the summer window — and even made a solo mission to see him last week.

Gyokeres is having his best season so far with 18 goals for the Sky Blues in the Championship.
He also had a runout off the bench against Belgium in Friday night’s  3-0 Euro qualifier defeat.
Gyokeres is close to becoming a starter for his country and a move to a higher level would speed up that process.
The hard-working  24-year-old spent four seasons at Brighton without making a Premier League appearance and joined Coventry in the summer of 2021 following half-a-season on loan.

Gyokeres has several clubs on his trail and Moyes has never been scared to dip into the second tier for a player.
Michail Antonio may leave in the next window with Everton joining the chase for him — as we revealed last week.
And West Ham’s Italian striker Gianluca Scamacca is yet to settle, so Moyes looks likely to bring in  a couple of new faces for his frontline.
Coventry would want around £20million to let go of Gyokeres in the summer.

Manager Mark Robins may yet pull off promotion via the play-offs but, if not, the centre-forward seems certain to move on.

Boss Vincent Kompany is a huge fan and can soon offer him Prem football, it seems. More

Pundit Mike Grella said he can be even better than the Norweigian, saying: “He can do more than Haaland. Haaland is more the type who duels with the centre-backs and just scores lots of goals.
“Hojlund can dribble past an opponent. He can keep the ball better. Hojlund can better help the team on the edge (of the penalty area) or deeper in the pitch.” More

According to Calciomercato, the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss is already planning ahead for the summer transfer window and wants to start with two of his former Chelsea players.
Mendy has fallen out of favour under the German head coach’s successor Graham Potter, who prefers Kepa Arrizabalaga between the sticks.
The Senegal international has a contract with the West Londoners until 2025 but is among the lowest earners at Stamford Bridge.
SunSport recently revealed that the 31-year-old turned down a six-year deal because he felt the club did not show him enough “respect” over wages.

Kovacic, on the other hand, has a deal that runs out next year and Potter will be looking to make some space on his inflated squad after a busy January market.
The 47-year-old head coach is a big fan of the midfielder but his contract runs out soon and that casts doubt over his future.
Chelsea are also facing the prospect of losing highly-rated assistant coach Anthony Barry.
The new Bayern manager publicly expressed his desire to sign Barry and have him reunite with his other assistants Zsolt Low and Arno Michels.

Tuchel, though, is now focused on the task at hand as Bayern are in the Champions League quarter-finals and are chasing Bundesliga table-toppers Dortmund, who are just one point ahead.
Reports suggest Nagelsmann was suddenly dismissed for various reasons, such as a lack of player development and “negative sporting development”.
Club chiefs also felt like there was “too much theatre [and a] lack of results”, with some players even “complaining” about the German tactician. More
