Italian outlet Gazzetta Della Sport claim that the Gunners have stepped up their interest in him after finding out Lazio have lowered their demands.
Milinkovic-Savic was on the market for £88million last year with some rumours even suggesting the Serie A side wanted over £100m for the midfielder.
But with the Serbian’s contract expiring at the end of next season, Lazio would now reportedly accept bids of £44m.
His price could further decrease with his representatives looking to bring the figure down to £31m.

Milinkovic-Savic is also wanted by Juventus and other sides are set to join the race for him with Newcastle and West Ham recently linked.
Arsenal are keen on strengthening their midfield after seeing bids for Brighton ace Moises Caicedo rejected in January.
The club are also keeping a close eye on Hammers captain Declan Rice.
Mikel Arteta already has Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey and Jorginho as his options, but this is not thought to stop him wanting another top addition in the middle of the pitch.

Anthony Martial is expected to depart as he enters the final 12 months of his deal.
And his replacement could come in the form of French international Kolo Muani, 24.
According to Bild, Frankfurt may allow the forward to leave if they receive an offer in the region of £90m.
Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in bringing in the World Cup star at the end of the season.

However, Man Utd are understood to be preparing the first formal offer in an attempt to rip him away from the Bundesliga side.
Kolo Muani joined Frankfurt on a free transfer last summer after his Nantes contract expired.
He has immediately hit the ground running in Germany, contributing 16 goals and 14 assists in 34 games in all competitions.
Kolo Muani’s sensational form earned him a surprise call-up to France’s World Cup squad.

He then scored in their 2-0 semi-final win over Morocco, before coming desperately close to a winning goal in the final but for the outstretched leg of Argentina keeper Emi Martinez.

But while the French giants remain keen to secure a deal, Saudi chiefs are hoping they can lure the Barcelona legend to the Middle East.
They are set to offer him the same deal Cristiano Ronaldo, 38, agreed when he joined Al-Nassr in December.
Earlier this week, Messi’s dad, Jorge, was spotted in Riyadh meeting Professor Abdullah Hammad, – head of the Mahd Sports Academy and a close associate of sports minister Prince Abdulaziz Al-Faisal.
Messi is an ambassador for the Saudi Arabia Tourist Board – one explanation for his father’s visit.

But Marca are reporting the Saudis are also set to propose a £194m-a-year offer to the superstar forward.
And his dad’s presence in the country has added further speculation surrounding a potential move to the Saudi Pro League – with Al-Nassr’s rivals Al Hilal the most likely destination.
However, there are a number of other options on the table for Messi.
One of those is a return to Barcelona – where Jorge flew to following his trip to Saudi.

The World Cup winner has also been linked with a move to David Beckham’s MLS club Inter Miami.
Yet despite links to both Saudi and America, staying in European football is still the most likely outcome for Messi.
He is understood to want at least one more year at the top level of the game.

And his performances for Argentina at the World Cup proved he remains one of the best players in the world.
He has also contributed 18 goals and 17 assists in 31 games for PSG this season. More

Former Germany boss Joachim Low planning return to international management with huge rivals

FORMER GERMANY boss Joachim Low is reportedly eyeing a shock return to the international game. The 63-year-old is sniffing out opportunities to get back into the game after taking an extended break following 15 years in his previous job.
Joachim Low is reportedly keen on becoming manager of BrazilCredit: Getty
Low guided his home nation Germany to pinnacle of football in 2014 with World Cup glory in Brazil.
Now Bild are claiming that he is interested in taking charge of the South American country that he enjoyed his greatest success in.
Brazil sacked manager Tite after they were eliminated from the World Cup on penalties by Croatia in the quarter final.
Carlo Ancelotti has been heavily linked with leaving Real Madrid to take charge of them.
    READ MORE ON FOOTBALL
However, this fresh update states that Low is also ready to throw his hat into the ring to become the next boss of the five-time world champions.
Low quit Germany and was replaced by Hansi Flick after a number of underwhelming tournament performances with his last match in charge being the 2-0 Euro 2020 defeat to England in June 2021.
Low now finds himself hungry to return to the profession he loves… after he has attended the World Cup in Qatar as a fan.
Speaking to German publication Kicker, the coach recently said: “I already have the intention of taking on a task in football again.

“The fun in this sport is too much for that.
“I feel motivated again when I watch football now – that wasn’t the case for a few months.”
He then added: “If I feel a task appeals to me, I’m ready and attack again.”

Low hasn’t worked in club management since a stint with Austria Wien during the 2003-04 season.
Prior to that, he coached FC Frauenfeld, Stuttgart, Fenerbahce, Karlsruher, Adanaspor and Tirol Innsbruck.
Low then assisted Jurgen Klinsmann as Germany boss between 2004 and 2006, before landing the top job himself.
Low hit the headlines as Germany started their Euro 2016 campaign with a 2-0 win over Ukraine in Lille, France.
Rather than Bastian Schweinsteiger or Shkodran Mustafi’s goals, the match is better remembered for Low sticking his hand down his pants, then having a good root around his crotch on the touchline.
Just when fans thought it was safe to look again, with Low having returned to his seat, they were made to recoil for a second time, as he gave his sweaty hand a hearty sniff.
Low was previously spotted digging around his crotch during a gameCredit: Pictures supplied by YouTube/Ruckas Pictures Ruckaspictures@btconnect.com
His nose picking antics also made supporters borkCredit: AFP
And it is something that he has developed quite the history in as back in 2008 he had fans borking on the sidelines at the Euros.
To the horror of TV viewers, he appeared to start rubbing his sweaty armpits.
And to cap it off, he delivers what will become a trademark, flat-palmed finger-sniff. Yuck.
Then, two years later, the constant hum of vuvuzelas drove most of us bonkers back at the World Cup in South Africa… but it didn’t drive most of us to do anything like this.
Sat in the dugout, his face a picture of steely concentration, Low was spotted digging deep in his nostril.

After what seemed like an eternity, he appeared to have finally dug out the bogey that he had been craving – but then his pesky assistant Flick (yes, the same one who replaced him) seemed to interrupt him to talk about the game.
But no matter, the moment Flick turns away Low, almost in slow motion, placed his fingers on his lips. Poor disguise Jogi, we all saw you. More

Edouard Mendy’s Chelsea future ‘uncertain after holding showdown talks with club’

CHELSEA keeper Edouard Mendy’s future at Stamford Bridge remains up in the air as he prepares for crunch talks with the club, according to reports. The Blues shot-stopper, 31, has returned to full training this week after a lengthy time on the sidelines following surgery on his finger in January.

He has been unavailable since returning from the World Cup – where he helped Senegal reach the last-16.
And Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to continue in between the sticks, with the Spaniard having already racked up 25 appearances this season.
Mendy has started just eight Premier League games in the 2022/23 campaign – only two of which have come since Graham Potter took over from Thomas Tuchel.
And according to The Times, Chelsea are struggling to tie him down to a new deal.

Mendy, who has kept 49 clean sheets in 104 games for the Blues, is under contract until 2025.
However, new owner Todd Boehly is keen to avoid any player’s deal running under the two-year mark.
It comes after they lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen for free last summer.
But talks between Mendy and the club have failed to see them come anywhere near reaching a deal.

And Chelsea are understood to be prioritising other players’ contracts ahead of the Senegalese keeper – who won the Champions League with the club in 2021.
They include Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante – who is set to return to Potter’s squad for the home game against Everton on Saturday.
Chelsea will assess their goalkeeping situation in the summer, with Brentford’s David Raya, Brighton’s Robert Sanchez and Leeds’ Ilan Meslier all potential replacements if Mendy departs.

Spaniard Raya, 27, has emerged as a highly-rated Premier League keeper with Manchester United and Tottenham monitoring him.
Brentford are thought to be looking for a fee in the region of £40million. More

Tottenham ‘will BLOCK Harry Kane transfer exit this summer and risk Man Utd target quitting club for FREE’

TOTTENHAM are not willing to sell Harry Kane this summer, reports claim. The Spurs talisman has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Manchester United.

But the Londoners are not willing to sell the 29-year-old in the summer, according to Sky Sports.
Kane’s contract expires at the end of next season.
Talks over a new deal are currently on hold, meaning Spurs may end up running the risk of losing the striker for nothing in the summer of 2024.
It’s claimed Tottenham have no intentions of letting Kane leave the club this summer.
    Read More in Football
Sky claim the forward’s importance to the club is worth more than any potential transfer fee.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are keen to avoid a long-running transfer saga.
Reinforcements up front are needed and boss Erik ten Hag would rather bring someone in as early as possible so they can bed in with the squad.
Although Sky say the Red Devils are keen to explore a deal if Spurs change their stance.

But a long-running saga with tough negotiator Daniel Levy is not a route the club wants to go down.
Another option is reportedly going back in for Kane next January.
If he doesn’t sign a new deal then his current contract would have just six months left to run in January 2024.
From then he would also be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs, with Bayern Munich keen on the striker.
It’s said where Spurs finish this season will go a long way to determining whether Kane extends his stay in London.
And with Antonio Conte seemingly destined to leave, his successor is also important to whether the striker pens a new deal.
Kane will turn 30 in July and is eager to win trophies, rather than be the centre of another rebuild. More
