    However, the Mail claim he could reject the proposal in the hunt for more regular first-team action.
    West Ham are among the teams interested in Nelson with the player settled in his home city of London.
    The likes of Fulham, Aston Villa and Brighton are also keeping tabs on the 23-year-old’s situation.

    Villa boss Unai Emery is supposedly keen to work with Nelson again after managing him at the Gunners.
    There is also interest coming from Europe via Serie A giants AC Milan.
    Nelson has played 12 times in all competitions this season for Arsenal after battling a thigh issue that ruled him out of 17 games this campaign.
    He has netted three goals and grabbed three assists with his best moment coming when he scored a last-gasp winner in a 3-2 victory over Bournemouth.

    Gallagher has two years left on his deal and Chelsea are yet to open any talks over an extension.
    The Mail reports that the club view the 23-year-old as an easy sale and that offloading academy graduates means more profit.
    Chelsea are under pressure from Financial Fair Play rules after owner Todd Boehly splashed over £600million across the previous two transfer windows.
    The Blues are 11th in the Premier League and so also look set to miss out on European football and the revenue that brings.

    Gallagher has supposedly attracted interest from the likes of Everton, Brighton and Borussia Dortmund, as well as Liverpool and Toon.

    According to The Athletic, Forest are considering a swoop for his son Sydney.
    Van Hooijdonk Jr is enjoying a fine season on loan at Heerenveen from Bologna.
    His 16 goals in 31 games have helped propel the Dutch outfit to ninth in the Eredivisie.

    But when he returns to his parent club in the summer, the 23-year-old striker is expected to be available for transfer.
    It is unclear if Forest will definitely go in for the 6ft 3ins striker but the report could face competition for his signature with SunSport revealing interest from Stoke, Swansea, Cardiff and Millwall.
    But the emotional ties to the club could sway a battle in the East Midlanders’ favour.
    Dad Pierre scored 41 goals in 77 games for Forest and helped the club to promotion to the Premier League.

    Newcastle set to rip up cautious transfer approach and break bank with Declan Rice among four ‘elite’ signings targeted

    NEWCASTLE are set to abandon their cautious approach to the summer transfer market by signing four “elite” stars, according to reports. A massive outlay of around £250million across the last three transfer windows gave rise to the club’s owners wanting to err on the side of caution to stay within Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

    However, the rapid progress made under Eddie Howe has seen this plan scrapped.
    According to The Telegraph, Howe and director of football Dan Ashworth put an argument to the owners that now was the time to be bold and consolidate their progress.
    This argument has won out, with sources both inside and outside of the club said to be anticipating a rise in revenue streams thanks to European Football.
    With this, Newcastle’s new aggressive strategy will see them target at least four elite stars.

    The Telegraph name as many as 16 players being discussed by the club, including 11 stars currently in the Premier League.
