    The Blues are in desperate need of a striker as they look to improve on last season’s disappointing campaign.
    They currently sit 10th in the Premier League table, 14 points adrift of the top spot.
    Club officials are convinced that a top striker will significantly improve Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
    And according to talkSPORT, Chelsea could make a move for in-form Osimhen.

    The Blues have been given an indication that the Napoli star could be made available in January.
    However, the Serie A champions will likely demand £120million for him.
    Chelsea have already spent £1billion since Boehly took over in May 2022.
    Enzo Fernandez joined in a deal worth £107m back in January before Moises Caicedo became the club’s record signing after completing a £115m move to Stamford Bridge in August.

    The midfielder captains Denmark’s Under-16s and had scouts raving about his performances at a tournament last week.
    With Panduro in the heart of midfield, they won the competition and he scored against Saudi Arabia.
    The teenager is coming through the ranks at Copenhagen and plays above his age group in their Under-17s team.
    Reports from the Daily Mail claim that he is not expected to stay with the club much longer as bigger teams circle.

    Panduro is currently with Denmark but is eligible to play for England through his mum.
    Speculation suggests a second battle for him could begin as both countries hope to convince him to choose their nation.
    Arsenal wonderkid Chido Obi-Martin is in a similar position to Panduro.
    He is also in the Danish setup although the FA hope to lure him to England as he is eligible to play for the Three Lions.

    However, seconds after the final whistle was blown at the Etihad, a furious Nunez, 24, was spotted being held back by Jurgen Klopp following an altercation with Guardiola, 52.
    Nunez and Guardiola had initially shaken hands, but then the Liverpool forward appeared to have a few words for the Spaniard.
    Reds boss Klopp was quick to pull his man away from the heated exchange while a perplexed Guardiola responded in an animated manner as the pair continued to trade words in a fiery scene.
    City’s manager was in no mood to talk about the incident afterwards, replying simply “nothing” when asked what happened.

    Now the dust has settled on the argument, Liverpool are set to be handed another multi-million pound bill from Benfica for Nunez.
    The Anfield giants splashed out a club-record £85m for the South American back in June 2022.
    Nunez has endured a mixed spell so far on Merseyside, scoring 22 times and producing ten assists in 50 appearances.
    But his most recent outing against City has now triggered another clause that was part of the package that brought him to Liverpool.

    The Daily Express states that the Reds need to pay Benfica £8.5m after he hit the 60-game mark for the club.
    Liverpool allegedly only paid £64m up front to the Portuguese team with the remaining £21m coming in add-ons.
    They had to pay a further £4.3m after his tenth appearance and now they have a further bill following his latest milestone.
    It is understood that the next add-on for Nunez will depend on the individual and collective performance of the team throughout the remainder of his £120,000-a-week six-year deal until 2028. More

    And according to football reporter Mike McGrath, Caceres is considered a target.
    The Uruguay centre-back, who plays for Liga MX club America, has just one year remaining on his current contract.
    Newcastle and Aston Villa are also understood to be interested in the 24-year-old.
    Caceres made his Uruguay debut in a 1-0 defeat to Iran last year and has since starred in nine international appearances.

    According to The Telegraph, the West Londoners have placed Osimhen at the top of their transfer wishlist with the player presumably keen to move to Stamford Bridge.
    However, the 24-year-old commands a massive release clause north of £100million, which makes a January swoop unlikely.
    That means Chelsea may have to shatter the Premier League transfer record for a third time in a row.
    Club owner Todd Boehly splashed £107m for Enzo Fernandez last January.

    Boehly then went all out once more in the summer when he paid £115m for Moises Caicedo.
    However, Chelsea have a link in their bid to sign Osimhen and that is Kalidou Koulibaly, who could help his former club.
    Al-Hilal star Koulibaly spent two years with the Nigerian at Napoli and still has close ties with the player as well as the Prem giants.
    Osimhen has scored six goals in 11 appearances so far this season after leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years with 31 goals in 39 appearances last term.
