Conte will look to guide his troops to a comeback victory over AC Milan, who turned them over in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at the San Siro on Valentine’s Day.
But according to reports, he could return to the stadium next season as manager of one of Serie A’s big boys.
That’s according to The Times, who claim Conte’s recent stay in his homeland recovering from surgery has “strengthened his desire” to return.
Both Inter Milan and Juventus are said to be keen on acquiring his services.

It’s claimed Conte’s return to Italy could hinge on Spurs being dumped out of Europe’s elite club competition.
It’s said an exit at the last-16 stage could “hasten” Conte’s departure from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The former Chelsea and Inter boss has a year left on his contract with the north Londoners and has mulled over leaving them for pastures new.
It’s understood, however, that he’ll see out the remainder of his deal if he’s “happy” come the end of the season.

But former Rangers hitman Ally McCoist reckons that both the Italian and striker Harry Kane will leave Spurs at the end of the season.
The talkSPORT pundit said: “Right now, and it’s guesswork from me.
“I think they’ll [Tottenham] be looking for a new manager a new centre-forward.
“If I’m putting myself in Harry Kane’s shoes right now – and this will really finish the Spurs fans off this morning.
“I’m probably thinking about going to the team [Manchester United] that got beat 7-0 yesterday [Sunday].” More

Man Utd confident of stunning Harry Kane transfer this summer after making contact with £200k-a-week Tottenham star

MANCHESTER UNITED believe they will land Harry Kane this summer — if Tottenham finish outside the top four.Old Trafford chiefs reckon Spurs missing out on a Champions League place will see them lower their £100million asking price.

United have made contact with Kane’s camp through a third party and have been encouraged by the response.
Kane turns 30 in July — and has achieved his ambition of becoming Spurs’ all-time top scorer.
While United were hammered 7-0 at Anfield on Sunday, there is still a belief that Kane has a better chance of finally winning a trophy at Old Trafford than at Tottenham.
The England captain’s £200,000-a-week deal is up at the end of next season and failing to make the Champions League puts suitors in a better position to negotiate a lower fee.

Kane said in January that there had “not been much talking” with Spurs over a new contract but he was “sure there will be conversations over the coming months”.
Champions Manchester City are no longer in the running, having failed to land the striker in 2021.
They have since signed Erling Haaland and the Norwegian has 27 Prem goals in the race for the Golden Boot.
Kane has 18, with United’s Marcus Rashford on 14.

The Red Devils need another goalscorer to drive them on to be title challengers next season.
Cristiano Ronaldo left in November and now his on-loan replacement Wout Weghorst has just one goal from 14 appearances.
Spurs are currently in fourth place but lost 1-0 at Wolves on Saturday — while resurgent Liverpool are just three points behind them with a game in hand.

Arsenal and Spurs set for summer transfer war for Borussia Dortmund ace Julian Brandt with Germans looking to cash in

ARSENAL and Tottenham will battle it out to sign Julian Brandt in the summer, according to reports. Brandt, 26, will have 12 months left on his contract at Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Bild have reported the Bundesliga title challengers are reluctant to lose the midfielder and remain intent on getting him tied down to a new deal.
However, the length of his deal could force the club into a sale.
Furthermore, interest from the North London rivals could see Brandt’s head swayed in favour of testing himself in England.
The report adds Brandt wants a move to London after discussions with close friend Kai Havertz.

The Chelsea star has told Brandt about life in the capital, leaving him wanting to see what the fuss is about.
Both Arsenal and Spurs want to add options to their teams in the summer.
The Gunners will need more creativity and firepower throughout the squad as they prepare for a campaign in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Spurs would like to add to their creative options, with an overwhelming reliance on Harry Kane, who is expected to leave in the summer.

This season Brandt has offered exactly this to Dortmund.
He has eight goals and four assists this season, including four goals in his last five league games.
The performances have left club director Sebastian Kehl impressed too.
He previously told Bild: “We see Julian’s development every day. He has taken a giant step forward – and we are very happy about that.
“I am of course familiar with the contract situation and we are approaching the subject very positively and calmly.” More

I’m a former England star who opened a pie ‘n’ mash shop that has fantastic Tripadvisor reviews

PAUL KONCHESKY was capped by England and played nearly 350 Premier League games for Liverpool, West Ham, Charlton, Fulham and Tottenham.Yet on a grey Tuesday in Brentwood, the now-West Ham women’s manager sat in one of Essex’s finest pie ‘n’ mash shops and told SunSport of his love for the East End delicacy.

The Dagenham boy has actually owned ‘Konch’s Kafe’ for seven years and his mum Carol runs it with aplomb.
With its rave reviews and four-and-a-half Tripadvisor stars, SunSport had to go down and check it out.
We arrived to find the walls adorned with memorabilia and memories from Konchesky’s decorated career.
A signed Pablo Fornals shirt takes pride of place alongside a ‘Konchesky 3’ jersey from West Ham’s famous run to the 2006 FA Cup final – a defeat to Liverpool in which the former skinhead put his beloved Hammers 3-2 up before missing a penalty in the shootout.

And the opposite wall features shots of the friendly EastEnder posing alongside his childhood heroes Julian Dicks and Paolo Di Canio.
When we arrived, Carol and her friendly staff were beavering away in the open plan kitchen preparing mountains of pies for the roomful of Sun-reading regulars.
And after helping his mum dish out SunSport’s steaming portions of single beef and onion pie, single mash and liquor (cameraman Kieran Benn had gravy instead – much to the whole Kafe’s disgust), this is what the twice-capped England left-back had to say…
“When I first took over the Kafe I used to always pop in but now I am a manager it’s harder.

“But I come in when I can to see my mum and the customers.
“I don’t really like to too much though as mum gets me working which I do NOT like.
“I was in here last week and it was busy so she wanted me to start serving stuff to the tables which isn’t my game.
“But pie ‘n’ mash used to be my diet!

“I used to have it every other day at school. I was about 15 and I was playing then but luckily I used to burn it off.
“My normal order is double pie, double mash and liquor. But I have to have loads of salt and pepper and chilli vinegar.
    “I love it.

“My mum used to work in catering so towards the back end of my career it became something I wanted to get into.
“I took it over so mum could run her own business and not have to work for somebody else. It keeps it in the family and it’s what she’s good at.”
    SunSport ratings:
SERVICE: 5 STARS (Out of 5). Our server delivered our lunch with astonishing accuracy and also happened to have two England caps and nearly 350 Premier League appearances. The manager Carol was chatty and welcoming and remained down to earth despite revealing she once had dinner with David Beckham!
FOOD: 5 STARS. The pies were cooked to perfection, crusty on the outside, well filled and piping hot on the inside. The mashed potatoes were light and the liquor the perfect temperature and consistency. SunSport camera man Kieran Benn (born in Bristol, not London!) had gravy instead of liquor which he insisted was much nicer.
VALUE: 5 STARS. A top drawer hearty lunch and a drink for less than a tenner. Plus the staff have some amazing stories about playing on football’s biggest stage.
    OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 STARS. More

Gary Neville tells Harry Kane he must quit Tottenham NOW with Man Utd transfer his ‘only option’

GARY NEVILLE thinks that Harry Kane must leave Tottenham now, insisting the only transfer possible is to Manchester United. The pundit believes the striker should quit Spurs in the hunt to win trophies after failing to land any silverware so far in his career.

Harry Kane’s only remaining chance of winning something this season is the Champions LeagueCredit: Reuters
Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup by Sheffield United earlier this week, leaving the Champions League as Kane’s only chance to secure a trophy this season.
Neville believes he is the missing piece for his former club and he should move to Old Trafford in the summer.
He told Sky Sports: “Harry Kane is going to want to win trophies, I think.
“It’s whether he sees it as being a case whereby he commits to Tottenham for his last five years and he does what some players have done.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
“Matt Le Tissier did it at Southampton. Other players have done it in the past who have played for England, where they’ve committed to a club because they love the club and they look after them.
“But if Harry is going to leave, I think now is the moment.
“He is a wonderful player, he’s a great professional, and I think if Harry Kane could leave now, and you could get him an exit out of there to a club in Manchester probably, United or City, I think he would take that opportunity.
“It’s more than likely not going to be City because of their [Erling] Haaland expenditure and what they’ve done with him, but Manchester United are desperate for a centre-forward.

“Tottenham fans will be furious with me, they’ll say it’s me coming on television trying to get their player to Manchester United. It’s not.
“It just looks to me at this moment in time the most likely move.
“Chelsea, I can’t see him going there. He’s quite loyal to Tottenham and there’s a big rivalry with Chelsea, so I don’t see that happening, even though they do need a centre-forward.
“He’s not going to go to Arsenal because of the rivalry, so Manchester United is the only option in England for Harry Kane this summer.”
Spurs’ record goalscorer sees his contract expire at the club in the summer of 2024.
Kane has been linked with switches to Bayern Munich and Man Utd.
Neville previously stated he thinks adding him to Erik ten Hag’s current squad will lead to them winning the Premier League title next year.
The ex-right-back also talked up the possibility of the Red Devils signing Declan Rice from West Ham. More

Harry Kane would be sorely tempted by Man Utd or Bayern summer transfer after another Tottenham trophy failure

IT is 32 years since Tottenham last reached the FA Cup final. That triumph, blighted by Paul Gascoigne’s self-inflicted knee injury, arrived two years before Harry Kane was born.
Harry Kane faces another trophyless season if Spurs go out of the Champions League next weekCredit: Rex
At Bramall Lane on Wednesday, Kane’s last chance to lift the Cup for his boyhood club might well have passed with the England captain left on the bench until midway through the second half.
Kane turns 30 this summer, is out of contract next year and has no major trophies to go alongside a sackful of personal accolades.
And this workaholic football obsessive would have wanted to face Sheffield United in that fifth-round tie.
He wants to play in every game and values domestic cups more than most of those who have managed him at Spurs.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
For those of us who grew up on Chas & Dave Cup final singles, it is extraordinary to comprehend that Spurs have failed to reach that showpiece in more than three decades.
Their recent record in the competition is shocking. Defeat by the Blades was their fourth consecutive last-16 exit, following a similar 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough last year, a ridiculous 5-4 defeat at Everton and a shootout loss against the Premier League’s worst team, Norwich, on the night when Eric Dier waded into the stands to confront fans.
Before that came a fourth-round defeat at Crystal Palace, after which boss Mauricio Pochettino — who had made seven changes — admitted domestic knockout competitions were less important than Champions League qualification.
That is the view of chairman Daniel Levy, too.

But it runs against the Danny Blanchflower ‘glory game’ ethos and it shows a disconnect between ownership, management and the majority of Tottenham’s fanbase.
Spurs haven’t been the mightiest team in the land since they last won the league — ‘in black and white’, as rivals like to point out — in 1961. But for the following 30 years they enjoyed a rich heritage as a Cup team.
That is now all ancient history, Ossie’s Dream a distant memory.
Before their dismal recent run, Spurs lost their last seven FA Cup semi-finals.
But the Spursiness of Wednesday’s defeat was off the scale.Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom had made wholesale changes but his promotion-chasing Championship side still had enough to defeat a complacent Tottenham.
Antonio Conte has yet to deliver silverware to TottenhamCredit: Reuters
Antonio Conte, soon to return after gallbladder surgery, miscalculated by dropping his club’s  all-time record goalscorer as well as his best defender, Cristian Romero, and Dejan Kulusevski.
Losing in Sheffield was a serious blow, especially as Spurs would have been handed a home draw against Blackburn had they made it to the quarter-finals.
A recent revival, which included victories over Manchester City and Chelsea, has boosted hopes of a top-four finish — but with Liverpool on the rise and Newcastle still dangerous, that is far from guaranteed.
Next week’s Champions League return leg against AC Milan, with Spurs trailing 1-0, has taken on added significance but the  FA Cup represented Tottenham’s best hope of silverware.
Kane will not be happy about Conte’s latest sickbed selection.
Sure, Iliman Ndiaye’s winner arrived after Kane’s introduction and, yes, Spurs lost at Boro last season with their talisman in the starting line-up.
But Tottenham’s chances would have improved had Kane started. His replacement, Richarlison, is yet to score for Spurs in domestic competition.
It was a desperate night for Spurs in SheffieldCredit: Getty
Kane has refused to rule out a summer move and with Spurs almost certain to rack up a 14th consecutive trophyless season, he will be sorely tempted if Manchester United and Bayern Munich make their expected summer moves for him.
Might winning the FA Cup have made the difference in persuading Kane to stay? Quite possibly, yes. He is an old-fashioned glory man.
Kane tried to leave 18 months ago and the smart money is on him trying again, knowing it will be Tottenham’s last chance to cash in on him this coming summer.
The England skipper has carried Spurs for years. They have punched above their weight since he arrived in the first team, largely because of his goals, assists and all-round presence.
    Read More on The Sun
With Newcastle’s rise, Spurs are now the seventh richest club in the Premier League. By rights they should be a Europa Conference League side.
Without Kane, they are likely to sink into that sort of territory. And defeat at Bramall Lane might not have been merely a one-off humiliation — it may spell the beginning of the end of the Kane era. More
