Postecoglou is Spurs’ preferred candidate to take over permanently from Antonio Conte.
He, and former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers, are front-runners for the north London post.
It is anticipated Daniel Levy – and incoming football chief Scott Munn – will make a move for the Celtic boss after this weekend’s Scottish Cup final.
But that flies in the face of Spurs’ fans’ wishes.
They have set up a ‘No to Postecoglou’ campaign, railing AGAINST the potential appointment of the two-in-a-row SPFL winner.
And regardless if he completes a treble on Saturday at Hampden, or not, a section of the north London fanbase claims ‘we deserve better’.
The hashtag #NoToPostecoglou started at the weekend, but swept across Twitter this afternoon – and had some unexpected support from CELTIC fans.
Far from agreeing their manager isn’t good enough for the gig they have backed Spurs’ fans’ anti-Ange stance in order to keep the Australian at Parkhead.

His revamp two years ago ushered in a new era and Hoops fans have been loving it ever since, sweeping four trophies of a possible five and another on the line against Inverness Caledonian Thistle this weekend.
And Hoops fans have given the campaign backing – with a particularly healthy dose of sarcasm.
Several social media users with Celtic profile pictures, names and shamrock emojis have added their voice to the campaign.
One said: “#NoToPostecoglou Spurs deserve someone better like Brendan Rodgers – COYS.”
Another wrote: “More than happy to get behind the #NoToPostecoglou campaign, on behalf of @SpursOfficial fans.”
A third Celtic supporter added: “I’m on this bandwagon #notoange #notopostecoglou this guy is the real deal and far too good for Spurs. Best manager we have had since the 60’s/70’s.”
And another Hoops fan summed up the general feeling by tweeting: “#NoToPostecoglou #NoToAnge And so say all of us, let him stay in Scotland winning trophy after trophy.”
It is not an unusual scenario for the boss either.

Arriving in Glasgow one a one-year rolling contract as a relatively unknown name, many doubted he would bring success to the Scottish giants, but he has since proved to be a worthy appointment.
Postecoglou lifted a domestic double in his first season in charge and made it three trophies when Celtic beat their Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Viaplay Cup final at Hampden.
Last weekend he was reacquainted with the SPFL title with a first Scottish Cup – and a domestic clean sweep – on the line in three days’ time.
Fans had a dig at those who doubted his longevity when he hit the 100-game milestone earlier this season.
They unfurled a banner saying ‘Gone by Christmas? Here’s to 100 more’.
Whether Spurs will have a say in him reaching that next target remains to be seen but the fans have had their say – as have pundits.
Outspoken duo Richard Keys and Andy Gray firmly backed Brendan Rodgers for the job and insisted he was a BETTER option for Levy.
Speaking on BeIN Sports, the former Dundee Utd and Rangers striker Gray asked his co-host: “What has Postecoglou got, or done, that Brendan Rodgers hasn’t bettered?”

Keys replied: “Nothing. Nothing like what Brendan Rodgers has done.”
