Harry Kane ‘meets Tuchel at his London home’ as Bayern Munich transfer target says ‘I want to win Champions League’

BAYERN MUNICH manager Thomas Tuchel has met with Harry Kane in London to discuss a stunning transfer, reports in Germany say. The England captain has just 12 months left on his current Tottenham contract, fuelling speculation he could be sold this season.

And Bayern were the first to bid when the summer window opened but their offer of £60.2million plus add-ons was rejected.
The German champions are set to go in again with a second improved package.
And according to BILD, Bayern boss Tuchel even visited Kane’s home in the capital to discuss a move.
It is added the Tottenham legend told Tuchel it would appeal to him to win with Bayern the Champions League.

Kane lives in a £17million home with his wife Katie and three children Ivy, Vivienne Jane and Louis.
The mansion includes an indoor gym and seven bedrooms with Spurs memorabilia everywhere.

But his 14-year Tottenham love affair could come to an end as the star striker looks to win his first piece of silverware.
Manchester United have strongly been linked with Kane but no official offer has come through.

Chelsea are now managed by Mauricio Pochettino, who enjoyed an incredible relationship with the forward during his time in North London.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’s strained and storied relationship with the Blues makes a deal incredibly unlikely.
It gives Bayern a clear path to signing Kane as they look to find a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski left for Barcelona in 2022 after eight years in Munich, where he won EIGHT league titles and the Champions League.
Bayern’s top scorer last season was winger Serge Gnabry, followed by Jamal Musiala.
And despite still having Thomas Muller and ex-Liverpool wideman Sadio Mane, they are without a recognised No9.
That has led the Bundesliga kings to make Kane their No1 target this summer.

But her latest Instagram post reflects that she is first and foremost a footballer – and has hit back at people criticising her looks on Instagram.
Howell shared a couple of bare-faced selfies alongside a very open caption about dealing with trolls online.
She wrote: “So I am trying to be more real with you guys… and let you see me for who I really am and not just through a picture.
“Yes I have had filler, that’s a given but I done that because I wanted to. And yes I get my eyelashes done, but so what…

“I had comments of people saying they could eat on my chin, or that I’m narcissist because I wore Nivea lip balm in a football game and they thought it was red lipstick🤣.
“FOR ANYONE that truly knows me would know I live and breathe football, I could tell you teams in SCEFL league let alone league 1 and 2… I could tell you the history of Tottenham not winning a poxy trophy… 🤣.
“However, I used to say it never got to me and I’m thick skinned, I am for sure.. but when you’re having a bad day (which is only human) and you go on social media, and see things as such you just start doubting yourself.
“I’ve changed so much about me at times because I had a bad day saw a comment and it got in my head but I’ve come to realise that no matter what I do or say someone is going to dislike it and that’s ok.

“All I’m asking is think about what you say before you say it… It’s ok not to like what I do, wear, look or say but I am still a human being… Thank you 💜”.
Howell is a massive Spurs fan as well as being a semi-professional footballer and has shared snaps from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in the past.
A number of fans were quick to post supportive messages in Howell’s comment section.
One fan wrote: “Gabby, you are a beautiful young woman and a fantastic football player, that’s all you need to know, ignore the haters and concentrate on the people that really know you.”
Another added: “These people should see some of the last ditch tackles and that back heel goal line clearance !!! X”.
While a third wrote: “they wouldn’t know about your footballing life. you absolute baller😅😍”.
A fellow Spurs fan jokingly responded to Gabby’s quip that Spurs don’t win trophies and wrote: “Seen Spurs win plenty but then I am old 😭”

Big money Tottenham signing could leave without playing a GAME as Postecoglou eyes huge system change

ANGE POSTECOGLOU looks set to switch Spurs’ defence from five at the back to four next season.Tottenham played with three centre-backs and two wing-backs under Antonio Conte last term.
Destiny Udogie could leave Spurs without playing a single game
But it looks like that may not be the case under the new boss after a suggestion from Destiny Udogie’s agent.
Stefano Antonelli, the representative of the left wing-back told Sky Sport Italia: “Udogie’s situation is clear. He is a Tottenham player and we had contact over the last few days because the coach will play 4-3-3, rather than 3-5-2.”
Udogie, 20, joined Spurs for £15million from Udinese last summer before being farmed back to the Serie A side.
He is more a wing-back than a full-back, raising questions of where he fits in a new system.

But Antonelli added: “Postecoglou is absolutely convinced that Udogie will have space to play.
“But Italian clubs are calling as some feel he needs another step before making a move, perhaps to a top club like Juve, Milan or Inter.
“Tottenham asked us to confirm the plan, which is to go on tour in Thailand.
“They guarantee his importance and we will evaluate — but he is a Tottenham player.”

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg lined up for stunning transfer to Spanish giants with Spurs future plunged into doubt

ATLETICO MADRID are keen on Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.SunSport revealed earlier this month that the Dane’s future in North London is looking uncertain as he is not a natural fit in the free-flowing system of new boss Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs are by no means desperate to sell him as he is a model pro but would be open to letting him go next month.
A number of clubs have been weighing up a move – with Spanish giants Atletico among them.
Though SunSport understands there has been no contact yet between the two clubs.
Hojbjerg, 27, has racked up 145 appearances for Spurs since arriving from Southampton for £15million in 2020.

He was a favourite of pragmatic bosses Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte.
Yet it is questionable if he would start in the attack-minded Postecoglou’s side, which has just been bolstered by the arrival of James Maddison for £40m plus add-ons.
Spurs, who have already added goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario for £16m from Empoli, are looking at strengthening at centre-back now.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba, Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo and Wolfsburg’s Micky van de Ven – dubbed the quickest central defender in the Bundesliga – are all on their radar.

Why Bayern Munich are convinced they will sign Harry Kane as they line up stunning £80m transfer bid for Tottenham star

Now Bayern are ready to test Tottenham’s resolve with an £80million bid after seeing a previous offer rejected.
SunSport understands Daniel Levy will remain stubborn in negotiations but that has not deterred Bayern’s advances.
And according to German journalist Christian Falk the Bundesliga champions are confident of striking a deal due to an alleged agreement Kane has with Levy.
Bayern are even said to be prepared to wait until when next summer when Kane will be out of contract and available on a free transfer.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
Falk, who writes for Bild, told BBC 5 Live: “Thomas Tuchel is working like a manager in England so can decide who is coming and who is not and there have been talks with Kane’s family.
“Bayern Munich would not have made an offer if they weren’t sure that Harry Kane would go. First step was clearing the detail with Kane’s family and then making the offer.

“The point is that Bayern are in another league. Kane has a gentleman’s agreement with Daniel Levy that he is allowed to go to another league if there is another offer that he is really interested in.
“Now, yes, Harry Kane wants the move because you know the thing about Tottenham and titles. If you go to Bayern Munich, it’s a title guaranteed and this is the main interest for Kane at the moment.

“If he won’t move this summer, then they will wait. Tottenham have to decide if they want to get €80m, or even €90m, but next year there is no money for Harry Kane.”
Privately, Levy has not given up hope of convincing Kane to pen a new deal in North London.
And the club insist no bid has been lodged for their star man.
Real Madrid had been keen but have reportedly cooled their interest.
Manchester United have also been linked with Kane but didn’t hold out much hope that the signing was possible. More

Tottenham announced the signing with a not-so-cryptic tweet.
The short video posted showed a Spurs shirt hanging up in the dressing room before a so-called mystery person picked up three darts from a towel.
Maddison is a huge darts fan and has regularly been spotted at Ally Pally for the PDC World Championships.
But the video did not explicitly mention Maddison, prompting some witty replies from some fans.

One said: “Don’t tell me we’ve signed Eric Bristow to play left-sided centre-back.”
Another joked: “Let’s hope we haven’t signed Micheal van Gerwen.”
And a third added: “Raymond van Barneveld is fully Coys.”
But the official confirmation followed shortly after at 9pm, with Tottenham tweeting: “Welcome, @Madders10!” with the full video of a smiling Maddison landing a bullseye on the darts board before posing for the camera.

Maddison – who was forced to delete old tweets slamming Spurs – spent five years at the King Power, scoring 55 goals in 203 games, and leaves as a three-cap senior England international as well as an FA Cup and Community Shield winner.
However, following Leicester’s shock relegation, it was a matter of when, not if, he left the East Midlands club to return to the Premier League.
Leicester were keen to wrap up a deal sooner rather than later in order to reinvest the money as part of their major squad overhaul – with Conor Coady and Harry Winks set to join Enzo Maresca’s side in the Championship.
The Foxes initially wanted to hold out for £60m and hoped a bidding war between Tottenham and Newcastle would bump up the price.
However, SunSport revealed the Toon’s interest had cooled – paving the way for Spurs to seal the deal.
Maddison follows Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario through the door at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of Ange Postecoglou’s first season in charge.
Dejan Kulusevski has also made his loan deal permanent for £26m while Pedro Porro will do the same for £39m this week.

The Bundesliga champions have had two bids supposedly rejected for the striker with the latest worth £80million.
Tottenham do not want to sell Kane despite his contract expiring next year and they risk losing him for free.
Redknapp, who managed Spurs from 2008 to 2012, is confident he does not want to move to Germany or leave at all.
He told the BBC Radio Wales: “Kane is cert to stay at Tottenham. I think he is building a new house.

“Family would be the all-important thing for him, so there’s no chance he’s going to Bayern Munich.
“He’s not going to want to go to Germany – he’s not taking his family over there, not a chance.
“So if he stays here, unless you go to Manchester City, you’re not guaranteed to win anything.

“They’re on a different level – but City don’t need him.

Maddison shared his dislike of Gareth Bale in one tweet
He slammed Spurs in a since deleted post
But before finalising the move Maddison has been forced to go back through his old tweets and delete those bashing the club.
In two tweets from 2012 and 2013 the then 16-year-old Maddison had a pop at former Tottenham player Gareth Bale and revealed his dislike for the club.
The first tweet from 2012 read: “I hate Gareth Bale with a passion, calm down you monkey, [Jack] Wilshere is 10x better than you chimpanzee.”
And in another, from March 2013, Maddison posted: “Hope Luis Suarez destroys Tottenham today, don’t like Spurs! Especially that monkey everyone’s on about!”

Maddison was part of Coventry’s youth team at the time of the tweets, which re-surfaced thanks to eagle-eyed fans.
But they are no longer available on his account along with every other tweet before 2019.
The England international, 26, has agreed terms with Spurs worth an estimated £170,000 a week.
And Leicester have now caved on the transfer fee with Tottenham set to pay the Foxes £40m for Maddison’s services.

The two clubs are now believed to be finalising details on how the payment will be structured, as well as the add-ons involved.
Spurs have pushed through the move before July 1 to comply with FFP regulations.
The money behind this goes against last season’s Champions League and Prem pot. They of course failed to make Europe at all for the upcoming campaign.
He will become the second new face to arrive at the North Londoners this summer, following Tuesday’s signing of Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. More
