TOTTENHAM are to be offered Barcelona forward Memphis Depay in exchange for left-back Sergio Reguilon, according to reports.Reguilon, 25, started 22 Premier League games for Spurs last season, but was in and out of the team following the arrival of Antonio Conte.

Spurs have cover at left-back with the likes of Matt Doherty, Ryan Sessegnon and newboy Ivan Perisic.
As a result, they may be intrigued by the latest reports of Barcelona’s interest in Reguilon – who joined Tottenham in 2020.
According to Fichajes, the Catalan giants are keen to bring in a back-up to Jordi Alba as they are worried about his physical condition.
Reguilon has been identified as an option, but Barca are keen to make it a swap deal as they have already spent big this summer despite their apparent financial crisis.

And Memphis Depay is reportedly the player who will be offered up in a straight switch.
The former Manchester United and Lyon man is thought to be on his way out of the Nou Camp following the signings of Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski.
Depay, 28, is out of contract next summer and so Barca will be keen to try and get something in return before he leaves on a free.
That could well be Reguilon, although there is a long way to go before a swap deal is agreed between the two clubs.

IRELAND striker Troy Parrot is set for a season-long loan with Championship side Preston North End.The loan is set to be announced alongside a contract extension at Spurs for the 20-year-old Dubliner.

Parrott has played under Antonio Conte during Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-season tour.
Parrott spent last season on-loan at MK Dons, playing 47 times and scoring ten goals in all competitions.
According to LancsLive, Parrott will complete his switch today after he undergoes a medical.
Parrott featured during Tottenham’s pre-season tour, however, it was unlikely he was going to be part of the first-team in the Premier League under Antonio Conte this season.
Spurs already have an impressive front line that includes stars such as Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski.
The Ireland striker was wanted by several Championship sides, including Sunderland, Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City and Middlesbrough.
Parrott will join an Irish contingent of Alan Browne, Greg Cunningham, Sean Maguire, and Robbie Brady at Deepdale.
The Dubliner has made an impression under Stephen Kenny with Ireland, earning 15 caps and scoring four times.

Parrott’s progress has been rewarded with a new deal at Spurs and further time to advance towards being ready to feature in the top flight in the future.
Having joined the North Londoners from Belvedere at just 15 and risen through the youth ranks, Parrott has been sent out on loan for experience three times.
His first loan spell was at Milwall in 2020, during which he played 12 times without scoring a goal.

CHELSEA and Tottenham have both reportedly made enquiries to Newcastle about signing Allan Saint-Maximin. The Premier League rivals, plus a number of teams from Europe, are claimed to be keen on the trickster.

ANTONIO CONTE has hit back at rumours linking Harry Kane with a move to Bayern Munich – accusing the German club of being “disrespectful”.Kane scored twice at Ibrox this afternoon to inspire Tottenham to a 2-1 comeback win over Rangers.

When asked about Bayern’s comments after Spurs’ win over Rangers, Conte said: “Honestly I didn’t hear this. For sure I’m a coach who doesn’t talk about players from other teams. I don’t know why [this happened].
