In a desperate bid to escape security, he frantically started climbing over seats through the crowd.
The man, who covered his face with a scarf, then appeared to meet up with two men who knew him.
He removed his face covering as he looked out of breath and fans tried to protect his identity by standing in front of him.
When he was leaving the stadium he had taken off his jacket and scarf to change his appearance and quickly slipped past people going up the stairs.
Ramsdale was handed a bottle of water after the incident.
The Met Police later confirmed a man has been charged with assault.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte said: “I didn’t see it before. If this situation happened [then] it’s not good, it’s not positive.
“I think that in every moment we have to show respect. If we want respect, we have to show respect. Honestly, I didn’t see this [incident] but if this situation happens for sure I don’t like it.”

Tottenham defender Eric Dier said of the incident: “I didn’t see it, but obviously it’s just unacceptable really. There’s nothing more I can say other than it’s unacceptable and it shouldn’t have happened.”
Tottenham said in a statement: “We are appalled by the behaviour of a supporter that attempted to attack Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale at the end of today’s match. Violence in any form has no place in football.”
A Football Association statement read: “We strongly condemn the incident involving a spectator that followed today’s Premier League fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
“This is wholly unacceptable behaviour and we will work together with the police, the relevant authorities and the clubs to ensure the appropriate action is taken.”
A Premier League statement read: “There is no place in football for acts of violence, and under no circumstance should players be attacked or fear for their safety at games.
“The League will support the clubs and relevant authorities in taking the strongest possible action against the individual responsible.”
A PFA statement read: “Players have a right to be safe in their place of work. When a player is attacked we expect the laws and regulations that are in place to protect them to be properly enforced.
“As the players’ union we treat this as a priority issue. We will be continuing to work with the authorities to demand that players and staff are better protected in their place of work.”
Former Arsenal and England striker Lianne Sanderson tweeted: “That idiot that kicked or tried to kick @AaronRamsdale98 should be banned for life. Hate seeing things like that. What on earth is wrong with people.”

Mikel Arteta’s men are not even halfway through their Premier League campaign but this was a hugely significant triumph – one which may be pinpointed as the most crucial of the lot if they are crowned champions of England for the first time in 19 years.
Next Sunday, they face a resurgent Manchester United – the only team to have defeated them in the league this season – and next month they face City.

Tottenham’s transfer plans for January revealed with under-fire Antonio Conte wanting three positions filled

TOTTENHAM are in the market for three players this January – but the future of Antonio Conte could potentially complicate any deals, reports say. Only two weeks remain before the window slams shut and Spurs are one of seven Premier League teams yet to make a signing.

A clamour for new faces appears to be growing among fans amid a sticky run of form.
The Times reports that there are still three positions the club are eager to fill.
A left-sided attacking player, a right-wingback and a central midfielder are believed to be top of Conte’s wish-list.
Spurs spent over £170m during the summer recruiting big stars like Richarlison and Christian Romero.

But Conte has grumbled previously about Tottenham’s lack of spending power compared to their Premier League rivals.
The contract of the situation of the head coach has further complicated transfer plans, the Times adds.
The Italian’s deal runs out at the end of the season and the Spurs hierarchy fear bringing in new players who are then not fancied by Conte’s potential successor.
Despite the lack of incomings, the North London club have been linked to a number of players in this window.

Defender Pedro Porro is believed to one of the targets but Sporting Lisbon are reluctant to let him go this window.
They are reportedly insisting that Spurs cough up almost £40m.
Meanwhile, Jordan Pickford is another high-profile star who who has caught Spurs’ interest, according to reports.
Conte expressed frustration with the “crazy” expectations on Spurs following their New Year’s Day defeat to Aston Villa.
He ranted: “I remember very well in the summer people talked about Tottenham as title contenders but it was a bit crazy to see this.
“To become title contenders, to become a team ready to fight to win something, you need to have a solid foundation, which means to have 14 or 15 strong players, with quality, and the other young players to develop.
“Every season, you can add two players – but two players priced £50m, £60m, £70m.
“In this way, it means you are signing important players who can improve the quality and the level of your team. But this is a process, guys.”

Lloris, 36, has made more errors leading to goals than any other player in the Premier League this term.
His latest blunder came against Arsenal in Sunday’s North London derby, inexplicably fumbling the ball into his own net.
Tottenham have begun the process of sounding out successors for Lloris, who has been at the club since 2012.
Here, SunSport takes a look at some of the potential contenders to become Spurs’ new first choice stopper for next season.

    JORDAN PICKFORD
Tottenham possess an interest in Everton stopper Jordan Pickford.
Despite the Toffees’ struggles this season, a more mature Pickford has impressed between the sticks.
The England No1’s Goodison contract runs until 2024 and he is understood to be happy on Merseyside.
But Everton getting relegated to the Championship could force them to sell their star stopper, with Spurs well placed to pounce.

    DAVID RAYA
Like Pickford, Brentford’s David Raya will also have just one year remaining on his contract at the end of the season.
The two-cap Spanish international was claimed to be “high on Spurs’ list of targets” by the Telegraph earlier this month.
Raya, 27, could opt for a new challenge after four years at Brentford.
Recently chatting to Spanish paper AS about his future, Raya said: “Every player has goals and wants to improve. Now I am focused on my team and in the summer, we will see what happens.”

    JAN OBLAK
The Atletico Madrid stopper emerged as a shock Tottenham target earlier this season.
Amid reports that his previous £107million release clause had been “significantly lowered”, Jan Oblak was linked with Spurs last September.
Oblak, 30, has been at Atletico since 2014, but the Spanish side are now reportedly open to parting ways.
He has made 377 appearances in total for Diego Simeone’s side, keeping an impressive 183 clean sheets.

And it is not only in England that the prospect of big-money moves could occur.
Here SunSport has compiled a best XI of the possible signings that could still take place during this January transfer window…

    Jordan Pickford – GK
The goalkeeper has told Everton he wants to STAY at the club but the England number one and the struggling Merseyside club are deadlocked in a row over pay.
And that has alerted Manchester United and Tottenham, who are now both willing to nearly double his £100,000-a-week wages to secure his signature.
It still seems unlikely that Pickford would jump ship this month from the Premier League’s joint-bottom club, but as we know in football, anything can happen.

    Pedro Porro – RB
Tottenham are set for fresh talks this week with Sporting Lisbon over the signing of defender Pedro Porro.
    Most read in Football
Spurs have identified Porro, 23, as one of their top targets this month.
But Sporting are reluctant to let the Spaniard go in this window.
So far they have insisted Spurs pay up the full £39.9million written into his release clause.
    Josko Gvardiol – CB
Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City have all been linked with the Croatian – who has revealed Liverpool are his “dream club” in the Premier League.
RB Leipzig’s Croatian star’s stock soared even higher thanks to his standout performances for Croatia at the World Cup.
Gvardiol is adamant that he will stay at the club as are Leipzig, but a late big-money offer could quickly change everything.
    Piero Hincapie – CB
Tottenham are also weighing up a £20m January move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte has made a new left-sided centre-back one of his main priorities and is among the many admirers of Ecuador international Hincapie.
The 21-year-old caught the eye at the World Cup in Qatar and is on the radar of a number of clubs following impressive performances for Leverkusen since his arrival in Germany in 2021.
    Sergio Gomez – LB
Manchester City ace Sergio Gomez is reportedly being targeted by both Juventus and Inter Milan.
Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri wants him to replace Alex Sandro, who might not renew his contract at the end of the season.
City only signed him from Anderlecht last summer but he has yet to make a breakthrough, and Italian media claims they are ready to do business for around £35m.

    Gianluca Prestianni – RW
Real Madrid and Barcelona are locked in a transfer battle to sign Argentina wonderkid Gianluca Prestianni.
The 16-year-old is currently playing in his homeland for Velez Sarsfield.
Despite his young age, the winger has already made his senior debut for the club.
That made him the third-youngest player ever to appear in Argentina’s top-flight after legends Diego Maradona and Sergio Aguero.
The two LaLiga giants are continuing to monitor his progress before opting to launch a bid.
    Scott McTominay – CM
Newcastle are reportedly chasing Manchester United’s Scott McTominay with the star concerned by his lack of recent match action.
He is “widely liked” by Eddie Howe and the management team at St. James’ Park.
And he is also allegedly open to a move with Newcastle set to launch a transfer bid if they get the green light that he is available from Old Trafford chiefs.
    Declan Rice – CM
Declan Rice has been identified as Arsenal’s No.1 target.
West Ham midfield star Rice is entering the final year of his contract at the London Stadium this summer – although there is an optional extra year – and he may finally opt to jump ship.
A number of top clubs are interested in the 24-year-old, but the Gunners are ready to battle Chelsea, Manchester United and Man City for his signature to bolster their title dream.
    Leandro Trossard – LW
The Belgian is unsettled at Brighton after falling out with boss Roberto De Zerbi.
Trossard, 28, has been frozen out by the Italian after reportedly being involved in a training ground bust up with a team-mate.
Spurs have allegedly had a £12m bid for the winger rejected already.
    Memphis Depay – FW
Newcastle have reportedly launched a transfer bid for Memphis Depay as they look to snap-up the Barcelona star.
And they are ready to battle Atletico Madrid all the way to secure the Dutch forward’s signature this month.
The former Manchester United man, who can play wide or up front, has fallen out of favour at the Nou Camp this term under Xavi.
He has been limited to just four appearances all season and has allegedly been told that he can leave during the January transfer window.
    Dusan Vlahovic – FW
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is also keen to bolster his attack, and he is ready to launch another move for Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbian, 22, snubbed a switch to the Emirates last January when opting for Turin instead.
But now Juventus could be tempted to let him leave due to the financial problems at the club.

It is claimed the North Londoners are preparing a £71m bid for Vlahovic, who has also attracted interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

Tottenham star Richarlison deserves three-game ban for ASSAULTING Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale, slams Piers Morgan

PIERS MORGAN claims Richarlison deserves a three-match ban for ASSAULTING Aaron Ramsdale, who he insists did nothing wrong in the explosive North London derby.Arsenal clinched a 2-0 win at Tottenham to move eight points clear at the top of the Premier League on Sunday.

Spurs ace Richarlison was firstly involved in a spat with Takehiro Tomiyasu on the sidelines before refusing to shake compatriot Gabriel Martinelli’s hand.
Despite not starting, it was a busy afternoon for the Spurs sub, who got on towards the end of the clash.
Ramsdale, who was sickeningly kicked by a Spurs fan, bickered with opponent Richarlison at the end of the game and the forward angrily pushed the keeper in the side of the head.
As a steward led the England international away to the edge of the pitch, a supporter climbed over the barricade in the Tottenham section and kicked the shot-stopper.

The trouble started brewing when Ramsdale turned to celebrate towards the fans that had been giving him stick after the final whistle.
Richarlison then went over to the keeper before his temper got the better of him and he started pushing him in the head.
Ramsdale marched away and went to grab his water bottle from behind the goal, but as he is bent over, the fan swooped in to attack.
Missed by stewards, the idiot stepped over the hoarding and kicked out at the goalie.

A steward then pushed the spectator away before the culprit scurried back up into the stand and the crowd while trying to cover his face with a scarf.
Players from both sides then ran over to try and diffuse the tense situation, although several squared up to one another.
Richarlison later blasted Ramsdale for being “disrespectful”, but SunSport columnist and Arsenal fan Morgan is adamant that the South American was the one in the wrong as he called for him to be suspended.
He told TalkSport: “Tottenham fans were clearly giving him [Ramsdale] absolute hell the entire game, as you would expect in a North London derby and at the end, rather than hurl back all the foul mouthed abuse he had to sustain for 90 minutes, he turns round and kisses the badge and smiles at them.
“On the general scale of declarations of war, an Arsenal player kissing the badge when they’ve just hammered Tottenham at their own backyard is probably not in the top 1000 things he could’ve done wrong.
“Let’s get real about how offensive it was about Ramsdale, it was a bit of fun with a bunch of fans that had been giving him hell.”
Morgan continued: “Richarlison, however, in my opinion absolutely crossed the line. I think he basically assaulted Ramsdale and should be banned for at least three games.
“And I think the fan who then did what he did was carried by what he saw with Richarlison.

“I think players have responsibility, if they’re going to start getting violent, it’s not entirely surprising some hooligan idiot in the crowd got involved too.
“So I think Richarlison was completely out of order.”

And Saliba stuck the knife in further as he trolled Tottenham fans about the atmosphere.
The home fans were largely subdued throughout most of the contest as they watched Spurs failed to compete – and Saliba noticed.
