    All the gear, no idea
Chelsea dominated the game today, with more shots and more possession than Brentford, but were once again left wanting in front of goal.
Cole Palmer was fantastic in the build up, but often his creativity was wasted by those in front of him.
Nicolas Jackson looked toothless, and Raheem Sterling wasted a big chance in the first half, with Marc Cucurella missing two big shots too.
It seems the Blues do still need that marquee striker signing in January, the Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen rumours will be back in full swing this week.

    Man of the match
The SunSport man of the match award today goes to Ethan Pinnock at the back for Brentford.
He opened the scoring, but was also solid at the back and helped massively in terms of shutting out the Chelsea attack.
Not bad for a lad who was playing in non-league for Forest Green Rovers just a few years back.
    Great showing.

Brentford today became the first team to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for the third time on the bounce, as Bryan Mbuemo and Ethan Pinnock scored counter attacking goals for the Bees.

Fans forced to turn off TNT Sports after it is hit with major technical issues following Man Utd’s win over Copenhagen

FANS were forced to turn off TNT Sports after they were hit with major technical issues during coverage of Manchester United’s win over Copenhagen. The new broadcaster, a rebrand of BT Sport, has taken on Champions League coverage in the UK for the 2023-24 season.
TNT Sport suffered technical issues throughout the night as Manchester United played CopenhagenCredit: TNT Sports
But in just the third round of fixtures, they suffered a serious malfunction as a blaring crackling sound beamed through TV speakers across the country.
It is unclear what happened to cause the terrible audio problems.
But supporters watching on at home let rip for the poor production quality – with one even using a Jose Mourinho meme of him taking off his headphones to suggest they had switched channels.
One tweeted: “What is this c**p audio we are paying for??

Another wrote: “F*** me TNT Sports is so amateurish! Can’t they afford decent sound equipment!?!”
A third commented: “Sort that awful sound out TNT Sports. We can actually hear the producers talking too, ‘Is it the same for Laura?’ Yes love.”
A fourth said: “Someone’s getting sacked tomorrow from TNT’s sound team.”
A fifth raged: “TNT sound is dreadful.”

A sixth fumed: “F*** sake @TNTSports, sort your audio out!”
Another moaned: “These sound issues all night on TNT is ridiculous.”
And a final user quipped: “TNT Sports letting the transition year students have a crack at the sound on the United game.”
Presenter Laura Woods also had to think quickly earlier in the night during the build-up to the Champions League game.
Paul Scholes’ microphone suddenly stopped working as Woods came to the rescue and then jokingly gave the ex-United midfielder a ticking off.
Scholes then pretended to throw his dodgy piece of kit away.
After the game – which the Red Devils won in dramatic fashion thanks to Andre Onana’s 97th-minute penalty save – there were more issues for TNT Sports as Woods had to give her microphone to Erik ten Hag for his live on-air interview.
And to make matters worse, there were more complaints during the post-match analysis and interviews because the sound was out of sync with the pictures.

But he somehow managed to break his microphone live on air in a hilarious blunder.
And that prompted presenter Woods to step in and come to the rescue – before jokingly tell Scholes off.
After asking Scholes a question and realising his mic was not working, Woods seamlessly and immediately held out her microphone for Scholes to speak into.
He continued with his answer perfectly – with the sound picked up from Woods’ microphone.

Then when he had finished, she joked: “Stop breaking the mics… what are you doing?”
An unimpressed Scholes then pretended to throw the dud microphone away, prompting laughter from Woods and Rio Ferdinand.
The trio were doing their pre-match preparations for United’s crunch Champions League clash.
Erik ten Hag’s men lost their opening two matches in Group A – to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.

And that meant the pressure was on going into the game with the Danish giants.
Thankfully Scholes’ microphone was sorted out by the time they came back from the advert break.
It was an emotional night at OId Trafford, with a wreath laid on the pitch in honour of Sir Bobby Charlton.
The United and England legend passed away aged 86 on Saturday, with the news made public just hours before his former team kicked off at Sheffield United. More
