      The Bees have been buzzing round Johnson, 20, for months.
      His form has tempted the Prem new boys to reignite their interest and come up with a better offer.
      Arsenal, Tottenham and newly-rich Newcastle have all been linked with the Wales international.
      But Forest are keen to get promotion this season from the Championship.
      They are happy to risk it even if it means Johnson running down his contract and entering the final year.
      And sources close to the deal also reveal Johnson would rather wait to see if an even bigger team came in for him.

      She said: “Those responsible for appalling racist abuse online must be punished.
      “The changes to the law I’m announcing will make sure they are banned from matches.”
      Football Banning Orders can be applied for three to ten years, while breaches may lead to six months in prison.
      Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries said they were also ensuring “tech firms tackle the hate on their sites”.

      Ex-Germany and Liverpool star Didi Hamann has called him the best central midfielder he has seen in years, after two stunning seasons at Leverkusen.

      The Special One wanted to take him to Spurs, who are still interested.

      Wellens was called into United’s Champions League squad and is playing Under-21 football — but he may have a better chance of progress elsewhere.
      It’s not the first time Wellens has attracted interest from an Italian side.
      Serie A champions Inter Milan were interested in signing the midfielder last year.

      Chisora, 37, claims he now receives the same kind of adulation awarded to British fight legends Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn and Ricky Hatton.
      And as he prepared for Saturday night’s rematch revenge showdown with Kiwi Joseph Parker at the Manchester Arena, Chisora declared: “People tell me they love me.
      “People can change from hate to love over time.
