MAN City owner Sheikh Mansour has splashed out £500million on a megayacht so big that it would only just fit in the club’s 55,000-capacity stadium.He will take delivery of the 525ft vessel before the start of the season — and has named it Blue in tribute to his Premier League champions.

The football fanatic has amassed a £17billion fortune courtesy of his International Petroleum Investment Company.
He is deputy PM of his native United Arab Emirates and a member of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family.

He and his model missus, Annie Kilner, had hoped to avoid the bedlam by flying to Portugal’s Algarve on board a luxury liner.
But instead of a private jet they had to settle for Jet2.
The pair were clocked arriving at Manchester Airport looking relaxed as they checked-in for the flight to Faro ahead of a mini break in the sun.
The footie ace is due to return for the start of Manchester City’s pre-season training next Monday.

AN ex-Premier League star has been ordered to pay nearly £45,000 in unpaid child support.The player, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was taken to court by The Child Maintenance Service.

The ex-footballer, who played for Aston Villa and was also an international, faces a liability order totalling £44,904.

Mr Wheeler added that the ex-footballer had been notified of the application by first class post at least seven days before Friday’s hearing.

He and his model missus, Annie Kilner, had hoped to avoid the bedlam by flying to Portugal’s Algarve on board a luxury liner.
But instead of a private jet they had to settle for Jet2.
The pair were clocked arriving at Manchester Airport looking relaxed as they checked-in for the flight to Faro ahead of a mini break in the sun.
The footie ace is due to return for the start of Manchester City’s pre-season training next Monday.

It comes as a report found more than 400,000 youngsters — two in every UK classroom — do not own a single book.
Marcus, who has also campaigned against child hunger, said: “I didn’t read properly until I was 17 and I don’t want that for others like me.
“Struggling to put food on the table, there was very little money left for things like books.
“It’s important that children can see a world much bigger than what they see on their doorstep, and that can be achieved through books.”
