Some football fans have gone to extreme lengths when getting tattoos of their favourite clubs and playersCredit: Imgur
Below are some of the worst football fan tattoos to ever grace the internet.
    Chubby Messi
A fan had Lionel Messi holding the World Cup inked on his back but the Argentine star’s face is slightly out of proportion
After Argentina’ won the 2022 FIFA World Cup last year, one fan went to the extreme length of getting Lionel Messi lifting the trophy tattooed across his back.
However, Messi’s face appears to be extremely bloated and he’s been made to look overweight, with one person describing the tattoo as “a combo of Messi and Rooney.”
    Arse-nal

On one side is “nal” and on the other is “FC”. It doesn’t take long to figure out where the “Arse” part is, as this person’s attempt at humour certainly backfired.
    Andy Cole nightmare
This unfortunate man saw Andy Cole leave Newcastle just two days after he got this tattoo of himCredit: News Group Newspapers Ltd
One Newcastle fan opted to get a tattoo of former striker Andy Cole on his thigh – two days before he signed for Manchester United.
To add further insult to injury, the picture of him in his underwear was plastered across all of the front pages once news broke of his disaster.
    Eeverton
This Everton fan had a nightmare after their tattooist spell the club’s name wrongCredit: Imgur
A very common mistake with the majority of tattoo disasters is spelling mistakes and this unfortunate Everton fan was the latest to be added to that list.

You’d think getting a tattoo of the word “Everton” would be quite simply but not for a certain artist, who put a second “e” in the word and made a complete mess of their work.
    The walking tattoo
This man decided to get some of the most extreme football tattoos on his face
This man has taken things to an extreme level when it comes to loving your football club and loving tattoos.
This Leeds United and England fan has covered almost every part of his face in ink with flags and colours of the team and country he loves.

A fan of Colombian side Atletico Nacional has dreamed of wearing his club’s famous colours so much that he got them tattooed onto his body.

    Man United disaster
Just one of many Manchester United tattoos that have gone wrongCredit: Twitter: @TrollFootball
Probably one of the worst tattoo’s you’ll ever see. It looks like it was drawn on with marker pen rather than inked on by a professional.
Nonetheless, this person has a huge Man United badge etched onto their back, with Sir Alex Ferguson’s name written beneath. The whole thing looks like it was drawn by a child.
    Another Man United disaster
Potentially the only Manchester United and Liverpool tattooCredit: Facebook
This tattoo of United’s badge is actually much better than the previous one and of a much smaller size too.
However, it is placed between the words “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, the song adopted by Liverpool – one of United’s biggest rivals.

The No10 shirt is my favourite and I have a tattoo of it – but I didn’t want Harry Kane’s shirt when I joined Tottenham

JAMES MADDISON has inherited Harry Kane’s No 10 shirt at Tottenham – but is adamant that he would rather the club’s all-time record scorer had stayed. The midfielder has No10 tattooed on his leg and took it over at Spurs following Kane’s departure for Bayern Munich in a £100million deal.

And Maddison also believes Tottenham are now a work of art under Ange Postecoglou.
Maddison said: “I was definitely not waiting for the No10 shirt. I didn’t want it to become free because that meant one thing.
“I didn’t want Harry to leave but when he did, and the No10 shirt became free and the club asked me, then of course I wanted to wear it.
“It’s my favourite number. I’ve got it tattooed on me, I loved that number growing up as a kid and was never going to say ‘no’.

“I wasn’t naive enough to go there thinking there wasn’t a chance Harry Kane could leave Tottenham. I wasn’t going to Tottenham for Harry Kane.”
Maddison reckons boss Postecoglou has ensured Spurs are suffering ‘no hangover’ from the miserable reigns of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.
And they have managed OK so far without Kane.
Maddison added: “I knew there was a chance Harry could leave but it wasn’t all doom and gloom.

“There was such a good feel with the new manager coming in and new players, and I didn’t feel any hangover from the previous managers.
“There were connotations around more negative, defensive football and I didn’t feel any hangover from that.
“Everyone was on a fresh slate and there was a really good energy and feel about the club.
“I think Harry’s the best No9 in the world and I would have loved to have played with him for more than a couple of pre-season games.
“But Bayern’s a massive club and I wish Harry all the best.
“Harry’s probably the best player to ever play for Tottenham, he’s definitely up there as one of the greats. He’s cemented his legacy as a legend and had nothing left to prove.
“But we’ve got some brilliant players at Spurs. The front line and especially, we can be so fluid with how the manager wants us to play.”

He posted a series of images and footage of the sessions to leave fans in awe as one said: “The karate stance and fluidity is back.”
Another added: “The last kick is vintage McGregor”
McGregor, 35, is yet to fight since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier in the first round of their trilogy bout.

He is set to face Michael Chandler, 37, next after the pair coached on The Ultimate Fighter together.

And in order to return, he would be required to complete six months of clean USADA testing unless given an exemption, throwing his chances of a fight this year into doubt.
Garry, 25, meanwhile is building towards a title shot having recently moved to 13-0 after beating Neil Magny.

Arsenal keeper David Raya could get awkward reception from team-mates over his neck tattoo

NEW Arsenal arrival David Raya could be in for an awkward reception from his Arsenal team-mates when they find out the meaning of his neck tattoo. The former Brentford stopper has a tattoo on the back of his neck that reads ’13-08-2021′ to commemorate his Premier League debut with the Bees.
David Raya was unveiled as an Arsenal player yesterdayCredit: Getty
But the player’s neck tattoo could lead to some awkward questions in the Gunners dressing roomCredit: Getty
That particular night saw Brentford beat Arsenal 2-0 in what was one of Mikel Arteta’s most testing moments as Arsenal manager.
It was a perfect Prem debut for Raya, who kept a clean sheet as goals from Sergi Canos and Christian Norgaard put the game beyond any doubt for the Bees.
Arsenal would go on to lose their next two games to Chelsea and Manchester City which left the Gunners rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table without scoring a goal.
The results saw the likes of Gary Neville lay into Arsenal’s “poor recruitment” and “lack of direction” in what was a testing time for the club.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
But the Gunners bounced back to narrowly miss out on top four that season before following that up with last season’s title challenge.
Raya is the latest signing in an aggressive transfer strategy from Arsenal this summer.
The keeper is the Gunners’ fourth signing following deals for Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.
Arteta is keen to create competition for places this season as he looks to go one better than last and win the Premier League.

And that extends all the way to the goalkeeper position with Raya coming in despite the popularity of Aaron Ramsdale both with fans and in the squad.
Raya has signed for Arsenal on an initial £3million one year loan deal with a £27m option to buy next summer.
It remains to be seen how Arteta will deal with having two Premier League proven keepers to pick from – with some suggesting one will play in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.
Or he could follow in the footsteps of Roberto De Zerbi, who revealed that he will rotate between goalkeepers Jason Steele and Bart Verbruggen on a game by game basis. More

I was a drug addict – now I’m a tattoo artist and charge celebs £3,000 per inking…how I turned my life around

A DRUG addict who turned his life around now makes up to £3,000 per inking from celebrity clients – here’s how he did it.Dan Rossetter, from Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex had delved so deeply into the crippling world of addiction, he knew he’d end up dead or in prison if he didn’t stop.
The 40-year-old travels up to 600 miles away to tattoo celebrity clientsCredit: mediadrumimages
At the age of 30 he had reached a breaking point after dealing with years of painful trauma from being sexually abused throughout his childhood.
Battling with PTSD, Dan soon lost his job as a BOC gasman – but tried to find some sense of justice in 2013.
He bravely spoke out about what had been done to him from the age of six to 11, and three years later the survivor saw his abuser sentenced to 13 years in jail.
However, this did not put an end to Dan’s addiction, and by March 2019 he knew it would either kill him or land him in prison.

Dan, 40, who now lives in London, told MediaDrumWorld: “My addiction was getting worse, I got to the point where my mental health was deteriorating rapidly and I was feeling very suicidal.
“With a lot of hard work and help from some very good lifestyle coaches I managed to get myself clean and sober and then my obsession became work and being the best version of myself.”
Now four years sober, Dan travels to tattoo pro-footballer clients who live up to 600 miles away, and has amassed nearly 200,000 TikTok followers.
“I’ve tattooed the most footballers out of any other tattoo artist in the world; I’ve documented a lot of this on TikTok which then blew up so my demand for general public clients has also increased massively,” Dan explained.
    Most read in Football
“I have clients travelling from all over the UK and also from abroad.
“Recently I flew over to Spain to tattoo Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard, he wanted a scroll with his five kids’ names in it.”
The TikTok sensation recounted his biggest work of art was for Chelsea Football Club’s Victor Moses.
It took the talented artist more than eight hours to complete the black and grey tiger back tattoo.
    HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Dan is not new to the industry and kick started his career back in 2010.
He opened a studio in Gatwick but struggled to manage the business for five years, amid his declining mental health.
“We made the decision to close the doors in 2015 I partnered up with my business partner Ahmed Alsanawi, AKA A Star Barber,” the tattoo artist said.
“He is one of the biggest barbers in the world for haircuts for celebrities.
“I have now been in the game for the last 13 years so I’ve gained a lot of snowball effect returning clients that had kept me busy over the years but what I am most recognised for is tattooing professional footballers.”
He said clients can fork out anything ranging from £700 to £3,000 depending on the session.
In his bid to stay at the top of his game, the dedicated artist puts in 12-hour shifts busy days.
    ‘SACRIFICES’
Despite Dan’s gratitude for the success and fortune he’s found in his dream career – it does come at a cost.
Being on the road and heavy shift hours has seen the TikTok star “burning out mentally and physically” at times.
Although he has come a long way since turning his life around in 2019, Dan admitted he does still “struggle” to manage the “demanding” business.
“Also my neck and back has taken a big hit which to this day still causes me a lot of problems,” he added.
I’ve tattooed the most footballers out of any other tattoo artist in the world.”Dan Rossetta
However, none of this keeps Dan away from his studio.
He said: “But I get to have fun at work too, I have a great memory of when I let four Chelsea players tattoo random things on my leg from a emoji poop to a disabled badge, also the Adidas logo is on there.
    “It was a funny afternoon.”
    KEY TO SUCCESS
After a difficult start to his career journey, Dan wants to educate other people who want to join him.
One piece of golden advice he offered was to find ways of expanding your portfolio.
He said: “Create yourself a portfolio of your artwork and keep knocking at the doors of local studios.
“Become a pest and keep asking until you get an opportunity.”

The 40-year-old reminded young artists to stay “relentless” despite it being such a hard industry to break into.
“If you want it enough you will get your opportunity,” said Dan.

But he quickly tried to turn their chat saucy, saying “U look good on g string” and suggesting the slender influencer had a “boob job”.
Seemingly aware he was going behind the back of his wife Faryal, 31, he vowed to delete any racy pictures she sent and asked: “Think I wana get caught out?”
Khan, whose marriage has been rocked by a string of cheating storms, first contacted social media influencer Sumaira, 25, on May 6.
Three days earlier, he had been the third contestant evicted from the all-star version of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity . . . Get me out of Here in South Africa.

The ex-world champ remarked on an Instagram story about tattoos, which Sumaira had posted.
Sumaira — known as Sumzz beauty online — responded, saying: “I don’t know if you’re joking.”
But dad-of-three Khan followed up his compliment by saying: “Lol I’m serious. They sick. (As) in good.”
Messages sent from his Amir King Khan account show him in Dubai — where he and Faryal have a home with their two daughters and son.

As they chatted about tattoos, Sumaira sent him a snap of herself clothed but showing roses on her midriff.
    Khan replied: “Can’t stop looking.”
Trying to convince her to send more revealing snaps, he suggested it was a “tattoo chat” and added: “It’s nothing I ain’t seen b4 . . . somebody’s body.”
The ex-boxer also spoke to Sumaira on the phone to explain why he had contacted her.
She said: “We had a phone call and he said he and Faryal were not properly together and that it was a bit of a business arrangement.
“He said he was 36 and retired and that Faryal spent a lot of time in London. He spun me a bit of a sob story, and to begin with I felt sorry for him and thought he was lonely.”
He stopped messaging Sumaira after telling her he was travelling back to London on May 8.
Trying to convince her to send more revealing snaps, he suggested it was a ‘tattoo chat’ and added: ‘It’s nothing I ain’t seen b4 . . . somebody’s body’
Weeks later Khan — who married Faryal in 2013 — posted a snap online of himself with his US model wife and daughters, saying: “10 years later.”
He then popped up and messaged Sumaira again on Friday, June 2 — to try to get her to join him on a night out in London.
He sent her the location of a West London nightspot and said: “Be free around 10.30.”
But she ignored his message amid fears over his intentions.
Sumaira said: “I felt in my gut it would be a bad idea to go.
Within days, though, Khan began messaging Sumaira again.
Trying to persuade her to send revealing snaps, Khan said: “Don’t worry I delete.”
And after Sumaira sent him a video of herself, he replied: “To much clothes.”
He then asked about her breasts and said bluntly: “Let’s see.” He added: “U look good on g string.”
After growing suspicious about what Khan had said about his marriage, Sumaira and the ex-boxer argued and stopped contact.

She said: “I was confused about what his intentions were. Then I realised he had been lying to me and trying to get one thing.”

Mike Hyde, 37, has been a fan of the club since his childhood and would to the pub to watch the matches with his father, Terry.
During one trip to the local pub in 2002, Micky told his dad that he would get the club’s badge “tattooed on his head” when they make it to the Premier League.
To which his father claimed that he did not think it would happen in his lifetime.
Micky told Luton Today: “He [Terry] died 10 years later at 49 from sudden death syndrome [SADS] and since then we’ve just been climbing and now we’re here.
