I’m an England superfan and I’m so sure we’ll win the World Cup I’ve had a tattoo done

SUPERFAN Dennis Pope is so sure England will win the World Cup he has updated his ill-fated 2018 tattoo.Dennis, 25, paid £40 four years ago to have “England World Cup Winners 2018” inked on to his right calf.
Dennis has updated the tattoo he got four years ago when he was sure England would win the 2018 World Cup
He’s now sure that England will beat 3-1 in tomorrow night’s quarter-final, and go on to become this year’s champions
But his hopes were dashed when they were beaten by Croatia in the semi-finals in Russia.
Plasterer Dennis is now backing England to beat France 3-1 in tomorrow night’s quarter-final in Qatar — and has updated his inking to prove it.
His original tattoo remains, but with a red cross through 2018 and 2022 inked below it.
New dad Dennis said: “We’ve waited for a moment like this.

“This is it. If there was a time, it’s right now. Kane to score twice and Rashford to add a third. I would even settle for a Harry Maguire header. We can beat anyone.”
Dennis, of Blackpool, said of his original tattoo: “It wasn’t meant to be and we lost to Croatia in the semis but I didn’t regret getting the tattoo in the slightest.
“It’s a reminder of wonderful memories and how close we came. This time though, it feels different.” More

I’m an England super fan and I can predict who will win the World Cup with my tattoos – here’s who will take the trophy

AN ENGLAND super fan who jinxes sporting competitions by getting tattoos of his favourite players says the Three Lions WILL win the World Cup – because he can control the outcome.Jamie Richardson claims he had a “premonition” in a dream when a mystical being begged him not to go under the needle for a FIFTH time.

The England fan has also wrongly predicted boxing and rugby resultsCredit: NB PRESS LTD
For years, the carpet fitter has inked premature results but they’ve all been duds – and he reckons his inkling to avoid an inking this time means England are set for glory in Qatar.
The misfortune teller, born Friday 13, told The Sun Online: “I’m itching to get that tattoo but I don’t want to jinx it.
“If I can sacrifice getting a tatt they will definitely win it this time.
“The last four that I’ve got have lost, so if I focus that energy, I honestly really, really think we will win the World Cup.”

Among the erroneous prophecies scrawled on Jamie are “England World Cup Winners 2018”.
Tatts of Castleford rugby and Leeds United’s playoff with Derby didn’t quite do what they say on the tin, either.
And he’s even got boxer Billy Joe Saunders clasping the severed head of Canelo Alvarez
But the Mexican champ went on to knock out the Brit in their 2021 bout.

I’m itching to get that tattoo but I don’t want to jinx it. Jamie Richardson
“I’m not even a tattoo kind of guy, I just started collecting them”, the “impulsive” dad admitted.
Jamie’s knack for cursing sporting outcomes has become so renowned that he’s been branded the “walking jinx” online.
And his powers are so strong his inbox was once overrun with Spurs fans offering £500 to get Liverpool winner tatts for their 2018 Champions League final match.
Despite all this, the failed mystic, from Morley, West Yorkshire, doesn’t regret a single one of his tatts – which have set him back a somewhat predictable £1,200.
    GOT AN INKLING
The 37-year-old has not ruled out using his tattoo powers to jinx England’s opponents if they get to the final.
And in the event of an England victory, he’ll get a “beautiful tribute” to the Three Lions: “It will be the proudest moment of my life”, he adds.
Jamie’s superstition does not stop at tattoos – ahead of England’s quarter-final tie with France on Saturday he’s said a big ‘non’ to ANYTHING French in his house.
It’s the biggest British-French battle since Waterloo!Jamie Richardson
The history nut said: “It’s all about England. It’s the biggest British-French battle since Waterloo. I’m sat here watching re-runs of Henry V!”
The Shakespeare epic depicts the heavily outnumbered English victory over the French at the battle of Agincourt in 1415.

Quoting a rousing speech from the play, Jamie shouted: “The game’s afoot: Follow your spirit; and upon this charge, Cry ‘God for Harry! England! and Saint George!

That clearly proved the catalyst for the 25-year-old to get further tattoos.
And his artist Dom Tattoo has revealed to ESPN that he’s now “hooked” to them.
This comes despite Richarlison previously following Cristiano Ronaldo and deciding against getting his body inked so he can donate blood.

Shaw, 25, says the image of the popular cereal-selling primate is a tribute to his two-year-old son Reign.
The goalscorer in the Euro 2020 Final told the Lions Den YouTube channel about the unique ink.
He said: “My son is obsessed with Coco Pops, he has a lot of them in the morning, I thought it would be quite cool because he is interested in my tattoos.”
The Red Devils star also has a cartoon drawing of him signing his first professional contract inked on the same arm.

Shaw has been on fine form for the Old Trafford club.
He has barely put a foot wrong since United have developed a new-found resilience in recent weeks.
It puts him in good contention for Gareth Southgate’s starting XI against Iran on Monday.
Especially with the injury of Ben Chilwell – who tore his hamstring during Chelsea’s win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League – at left-back.

And while he follow through with it, Hendo revealed that he would have been joined by team-mate Alexander-Arnold were it not for a last-minute intervention.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Henderson revealed: “The days after beating Tottenham in the Champions League final were a blur.
“We returned to Liverpool for an open-topped bus parade with the trophy the following day. Within the week, I was in Trent Alexander-Arnold’s room in Portugal.
“We were there for the Nations League finals. We’d just had a training session with England, but our heads were still in the Estadio Metropolitano, and Trent had an idea.

“‘Let’s get tattoos!’ he said. ‘We should get the Champions League trophy tattooed on our calves.’

‘”You’ll do it, too, right?’ I said. It was he who had suggested it, after all. ‘One hundred per cent,’ he said.”
Henderson explained that he had arranged for former Liverpool defender Daniel Agger to help them book in their tattoos due to his expertise on the matter.

And with everything then arranged, Henderson added: “I pulled up outside his (Trent’s) villa at 11am.
“I thought he might be waiting, but it was quiet. I waited for a bit, then he came out. He was looking a bit sheepish.
‘”Come on, get in,’ I said. He said ‘I can’t come’.”
‘”You what?’ My face dropped. ‘What do you mean, you can’t come?’
“‘I can’t come because my mam says I’m not allowed,’ he said.
“‘You f****** what?’ I said. ‘Get in the car, man. We’ve got to go. ‘Are you serious? Your mam says you can’t get a tattoo?’
“It turned out that Trent had mentioned the tattoo to his brother, Tyler, who had mentioned it to his mam, and she had rung Trent up and basically said, ‘You’re not getting a tattoo. End of.'”
And that was the end of that. Henderson posted a photo of the tattoo alongside artist Tommy Montaya, which in another world would have included his Liverpool team-mate as well.
