Last year fans blocked the United squad from leaving The Lowry before a game against Liverpool, which caused the match to be axed.

Thousands more gathered outside the stadium before breaking into the ground where some climbed on the goalposts, had a kickabout on the pitch and let off flares.
There were plans for an “Empty Old Trafford” intended to highlight their anger towards the Glazers.
The Theatre of Dreams was still full up, although the protests continued from inside the stadium with banners and chants.

Both Everton and Chelsea fans on social media pointed out the lack of Everton links in Gordon’s Instagram bio.
Frank Lampard’s side are determined to hold on to their prized player and insisted they will not welcome any more bids.
Everton have already waved away verbal offers from both Tottenham and Newcastle.
Gordon, 21, who has three years left on his current contract, had indicated he was prepared to move to London to play for either Spurs or Chelsea.

Everton are determined to give him another new contract but for the time being at least, Gordon has indicated he will run the contract down.
Chelsea legend Lampard is determined to keep Gordon, especially after the club sold Richarlison to Spurs for £60m.
And they have also been without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the opening two games of the campaign after he suffered an injury.

Oleksandr Usyk’s puzzled reaction after Anthony Joshua throws his belts out of ring as new footage emerges

Joshua was left fuming in the ring
And after the split-decision verdict was called out, Joshua lost his cool having been grown furious in the ring.
At one point he got ahold of Usyk’s WBA and Ring Magazine belts, lofted them in the air, before chucking both out the ring.
Unseen footage released by Sky Sports shows the champion stare at Joshua in shock.
But AJ was not done there as he had to be held back by members of his team after being left irate by something Usyk’s trainer said to him.

Eventually, AJ exited the ring but quickly returned to produce a bizarre post-fight speech.
He talked about his late start in boxing after avoiding jail, how he is heavier than legends of the past and Ukraine’s series of wars.
Joshua was slammed for his rant but was defended by his promoter Eddie Hearn, who addressed why AJ tossed the belts away.
Hearn told iFL TV: “He’s held on to those belts for a long time, and those governing bodies have charged him a lot of money and put a lot of mandatories on him.

“And I think he’s lost a lot of faith in the system and I think he started to not be interested in fighting for belts anymore.
“I think he just wants to fight for enjoyment and to challenge himself.
“Of course, he wanted to be undisputed, but a lot of that was frustration.
“He left the ring, because he knew, ‘I’m gonna do something stupid, yeah.’
“And he forced himself, ‘I can’t (just leave),’ so he went back in the ring and he gave a speech, which, he was a little bit out of it.
“But it was just pure emotion. That was just from the heart.”
Joshua himself apologised on Twitter and congratulated unbeaten Usyk, 35, once more on his win.
He posted: “I wish @usykaa continued success in your quest for greatness. You are a class act champ.

“Yesterday I had to mentally take myself into a dark place to compete for the championship belts!

And now Britain’s undefeated WBC champ Fury is in talks to come out of retirement to box the unbeaten Ukrainian for the undisputed crown in the richest fight in history.
Fury declared on Instagram: “England has been relieved of its belts but there is a remedy.
“If you want those belts back then send in the Gypsy barbarian.”
And recalling his 2015 triumph over Usyk’s countryman Wladimir Klitschko, Fury added: “Send me in and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of his belts like I did the last Ukrainian dosser.

“But it’s not going to be cheap, if you want the best you have to pay.
“It’s going to be very expensive, so get your f***ing cheque book out and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of the belts.”
    He later deleted his post.
But Saudi Sports Minister HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud confirmed the country was keen to stage the fight in Riyadh.

Talks are ongoing about hosting it on December 17 – the day before the World Cup Final in neighbouring Qatar.
Al Saud said: “We’re interested, that’s all I can say. We are open to that. We’re bidding for a lot of events.
“If it does happen, it will be hosted in Riyadh. But we still haven’t decided on anything.”
Fury already has influential friends and financiers in Saudi Arabia after his WWE wrestling bout here in 2019.
Britain’s Gypsy King, 34, and Usyk, 35, would each net at least £50m.
And after seeing Joshua blow an all-British unification superfight, Fury posted an Instagram video in which he blasted: “After watching that, both of them were s***e.
“It was one of the worst heavyweight title fights I have ever seen, it was bulls***.
Send me in and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of his belts like I did the last Ukrainian dosser.Tyson Fury
“I would annihilate both of them on the same night, f***ing s***e, get your f***ing cheque book out because the Gypsy King is here forever.”
When told of Fury’s jibes, Usyk blasted back: “That’s what he’s dreaming of every day. I will beat his a**.
“I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him and if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.”
And, on his victory over AJ, Usyk added: “This fight was extremely important for my country, my team and for me because I boxed for the whole country and half of the world.”
Joshua yesterday admitted he had let himself down over his extraordinary f-word ring rant after furiously hurling Usyk’s belts out of the ring.
He tweeted: “Usyk, you are a class act champ. Yesterday I had to take myself to a dark place to compete for the belts.
“I had two fights, one with Usyk and one with my emotions and both got the better of me. I’ll be the first to admit I let myself down.

Watch boxing judge confronted after controversial scorecard in Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk

BOXING judge Glenn Feldman was confronted after he controversially scored Anthony Joshua as the winner against Oleksandr Usyk. AJ suffered a split-decision loss in his Saudi Arabia rematch against the pound-for-pound star.
Glenn Feldman controversially scored Anthony Joshua as a winner against Oleksandr Usyk

England’s Steve Gray wisely went 115-113 Usyk and Ukraine’s Victor Fesechko fairly called it 116-112 to his compatriot.
But American Feldman stuck out having seen it 115-113 to Joshua, leading to much confusion.
Online outlet ID Boxing managed to confront the experienced judge after the bout.
Reporter Rob Tebbutt asked: “How did you score that fight for Anthony Joshua, Glenn?”

Feldman responded: “Just the way I did.”
Probed further, he then said: “I can’t, you’d have to talk to my supervisor.”
Feldman then refused to answer any further questions and allowed his supervisor to take the wrap.
Eddie Hearn was also asked on his opinions on the scorecards and admitted he had Usyk winning the fight.

Hearn told iFL TV:  I felt he lost by two rounds but when it’s 115-113, it’s the swing of one or two rounds and you can see it the other way.
“I had AJ level or maybe up at the end of the ninth but Usyk winning the last three rounds.
” I thought he was incredible and it was one of the great performances.
“The ninth, Usyk was all over the place. He was hurt badly. He looked like he could be done.
“What he did in the 10th was unbelievable and that’s why he was pound-for-pound No1.
“The amount of punches he threw in the 10th was incredible. I just couldn’t believe what he did in the championship rounds.”
