Gareth Bale at Cardiff training ground for talks over shock free transfer move and will make final decision this week

GARETH BALE visited Cardiff’s training base where it is believed he held transfer talks with manager Steve Morison. The Wales legend is currently a free agent after confirming his departure from Real Madrid.

And rumours of a sensational return to his place of birth has since followed with Bale on the hunt for a new side.
It comes after he led Wales to a first World Cup in 64 years following their 1-0 play-off final triumph over war-torn Ukraine.
In a recent development, the winger spoke with Cardiff boss Morison and discussed his future, according to WalesOnline.
They claim Bale was undertaking physio at the club’s Vale of Glamorgan HQ with the FAW’s medical staff.

The alleged perpetrators have since been caught by police and Khan remains willing to reveal the collection of watches he worked hard to buy.

The 31-year old Wales superstar spent the second half of last season on loan at Rangers from Juventus.
Although he capped his time at Ibrox off with a Scottish Cup winners’ medal, it was a mixed spell to say the least.
As is so often the case in his career, injury hampered Ramsey’s time in Glasgow and he also missed the crucial penalty as Rangers lost the Europa League Final to Eintracht Frankfurt in heartbreaking shoot-out fashion.
He’s back in Turin now, but that appears little more than a temporary return.
It’s expected that Ramsey’s contract will be terminated one way or another, leaving him free to find a new club.
SunSport reported yesterday that Italy legend Andrea Pirlo is keen to take him to Turkish football.
Pirlo is the new boss of Super Lig side Fatih Karagumruk.

Well, wife Colleen has her own suggestion about what he might do next!
The couple have been enjoying some time at the beach with their kids, and it was there where Colleen had an inkling about what Aaron might do next!
On her Instagram story, she posted a short clip of Ramsey walking along the edge of the water in a pair of swimming trunks.

Producers are of course on the lookout for a new 007 after Daniel Craig stepped down from the role, but whether Ramsey is on their radar remains to be seen!
Bridgerton star Rene-Jean Page and Superman star Henry Cavill are among the favourites to succeed Craig – although that was before Ramsey’s name was thrown into the mix!
Ramsey seemed a little pre-occupied to notice what his wife was up to, as he kept an eye on his two young sons who were playing in the water.
He also appeared to be having a tricky time adjusting a pair of goggles, as Colleen attested to in the clip!

Francis last fought professionally in 2006 but his two-round loss to Tyson six years earlier is among his most memorable bouts.
And now, 22 years on, the former British and Commonwealth champion admitted he would do it again with the American icon.
Francis, 57, told TMZ Sport: “I’m going to put it out there, I’ve never liked talking about money but they could put up with a decent offer then, who knows.
“I’m going to put it out there. I’m going to say, yes. Yes, we can have a rematch. I don’t know if anybody will watch it, but I’m going to say, yes.”

He drew over eight exhibition rounds with Roy Jones Jr, 53, and has since been linked with a fight against Jake Paul, 25.
But Francis warned neither the YouTube star or his brother Logan, 27, would be worth coming back to the ring for.

Francis only this month boxed Dan Cadman in a charity bout to raise money for Mark Potter, a 47-year-old personal trainer from Essex who is battling cancer.
And after his KO punch became a sensation overnight, BoxPark CEO Robert Wade leapt to the security worker’s defence.
Wade posted on LinkedIn: “Julius Francis is ex-UK heavyweight boxing champion, he is one of the nicest people I have ever met and helps train young underprivileged kids boxing in his spare time.”
The Met Police later confirmed no further action will be taken in relation to the incident.
But unfortunately for Francis, the UK’s Security Industry Authority have suspended his licence.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER told Hall of Fame promoter Lou DiBella he would the the best boxer of all time at the age of just 20. The unbeaten legend suffered heartbreak at the 1996 Olympics and was left with just a bronze medal after being robbed in the semis.

That same year he turned professional and after just 18 fights the American became world champion, aged only 21.
But even before winning the first of his many world titles, Mayweather predicted his superstardom.
DiBella told SunSport: “Mayweather is one of the great fighters of my lifetime, he’s just a sensational fighter.

New Man Utd CEO Richard Arnold picks former chief David Gill’s brains over lunch after pub showdown with fans

MANCHESTER UNITED CEO Richard Arnold has been pictured having lunch with David Gill. Arnold, who became the first person to hold that title at United since Gill in 2013, was spotted at the Italian restaurant Cibo in Hale Village.

Gill joined the club in 1997, spending ten years as CEO, and went on to have roles at the FA while now working for UEFA.
Accountant Arnold succeeded the unpopular Ed Woodward in February.
During Gill’s time at Old Trafford, he oversaw as Sir Alex Ferguson won NINE Premier League titles and two Champions League medals.
And Arnold could have been picking his brains ahead of the upcoming season.
Their lunch comes after Arnold was filmed branding last season a “f***ing nightmare” in another Cheshire day out.

Arnold also admitted United have “f***ing burned through cash” in a meeting with 12 supporters at The Boot Inn, Willington.
SunSport later revealed the 51-year-old reassured club staff after the pub showdown with the fed-up fans.
Arnold confirmed the group were planning to protest outside his home and that he chose to head them off in his local village pub – intending to provide United’s side of the story.
The exec went on to assure staff his message to fans was no different to ones he has been peddling internally.

He reiterated on-field achievement is the club’s No1 priority which relies on strong staff performance combined with a united and supportive fanbase.
He said the board were unhappy with last season’s showing and assured staff action is being taken to improve results.
And Arnold reminded staff of the board’s continued investment and their plan to keep spending – but in a more effective way thanks to a new structure.
