Chelsea 3 Rennes 0 LIVE REACTION: Werner and Abraham on target for Blues as ten-man Rennes swept aside at Bridge

CHELSEA cruised to a Champions League victory thanks to a brace from Timo Werner and a second-half strike from Tammy Abraham.
    Final score: Chelsea 3-0 Rennes
    Follow ALL the updates below…

    GOODNIGHT FROM THE BRIDGE
Another game, another clean sheet and another win for Chelsea.
The Londoners were in complete control from the off against Rennes as they eased their way to a 3-0 success that keeps them at the top of Group E.
They were given a helping hand, if not by defender Dalbert, then by German referee Felix Zwayer and his officials.
Dalbert had already conceded one penalty – won and scored by Timo Werner – when he was adjudged to have handled Tammy Abraham’s shot.
The decision to award another spotkick following a VAR review was harsh, and the red card that came with it for a second booking was even harsher.
Not that Werner showed any sympathy, slamming home from 12 yards for a second time, and, when Tammy Abraham converted shortly after the break, the contest was all but over.
Most impressively, tonight’s victory came with a fifth consecutive clean sheet for Chelsea, and a sixth in a row for their new goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
The former Rennes stopper had little to do against the club he left in September, but he stayed alert enough to show his class in denying Clement Grenier’s 84th minute effort.
A flurry of second half substitutions gave Frank Lampard the opportunity to rest key players ahead of Saturday’s visit of Sheffield United. If his side are able to keep this form up, perhaps Champions League Group E won’t be the only table that Chelsea are troubling the top of.
Thanks for being with us this evening and goodnight.

    FRANK TALKING
A delighted Frank Lampard has been speaking post match about his players’ professionalism, and why Timo Werner is Chelsea’s new spotkick king.
“I think we deserved the win in the way we played.
“The red card and penalty at 2-0 makes it more comfortable, but I think we dealt with the early parts of the second half really well.
“It’s not always easy against ten men when they’ve had time to talk and arrange themselves, but we kept the ball moving so the professional elements of our game were really good and against a good opposition as well.
“We saw at 11 against 11, they’re a good, physical, technical team and we won pretty well.
“[The new penalty taker] wasn’t an easy decision because Jorginho has been pretty faultless for us, but he’s missed two recently and Timo came in to score one.
“I had a conversation with Jorginho and his answer was perfect for a professional. He doesn’t care who takes them, he just wants the team to score.”

    RENNES RUE REFEREE’S DECISION
The BT Sport pundits have been discussing the controversial decision to not only award Chelsea a second first half penalty, but to show Dalbert a second yellow card.

    MEND REUNITED
Edouard Mendy catches up with his former coach and teammates at full time.

    BLUES ATTACK FROM THE BACK
Chelsea full-backs Ben Chilwell and Reece James continue to prove the attacking threat they possess when patrolling their respective flanks..
This heatmap shows just how much ground the pair covered on each wing this evening.

    IF IT’S BROKE
    Edouard Mendy it.

Edouard Mendy has now kept six consecutive clean sheets for Chelsea across all competitions.

    E-ASY DOES IT
Chelsea and Sevilla are clear at the top of Group E after their victories this evening, and it means the pair could sew up qualification as early as matchday four with similar results later this month.
The La Liga side recovered from 2-0 down to beat Krasnodar 3-2 in Spain tonight.

    FT: CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
A comfortable victory for Chelsea in Group E.
Tammy Abraham’s early second half strike added to two Timo Werner penalties in the first half, and ensured the Blues hold on to top spot.
Rennes remain bottom, having played 50 minutes with ten men after Dalbert’s ridiculously harsh red card.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    90+3. Giroud should have scored!
Unmarked at the back stick, the Frenchman headed down Hudson-Odoi’s cross but was uncharacteristically off target with his effort.
That could have been the biggest blue success since Michigan.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    90. There will be three minutes of added time before we can all get ourselves a cup of tea and enjoy another moan about the new handball interpretations.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    88. Yellow card alert!
Del Castillo is the latest player cautioned for two swipes at Werner, catching him on the achilles with the second after failing to make contact with his first.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    84. Edouard Mendy is on the verge of a sixth consecutive clean sheet, and he’s finally had to work for it.
The visitors broke quickly down the right, where the ball was pulled back perfectly for Grenier.
The substitute has never scored for Rennes, but he met the cross well, powering a shot towards goal that the Chelsea custodian was equal to in palming away.
The loose ball was eventually turned in by Doku, but the Rennes man was well offside when he scored.

    SHUTTING UP SHOP
The last five minutes show that the Chelsea players have both eyes on the weekend’s game with Sheffield United.
This game has been over for a long time so let the ten men play with the ball.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    79. If it’s not a substitution to report, it’s a yellow card.
Kovacic goes into the book for waving an arm in the face of Grenier.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    76. That miss brings about another two – and thankfully final – substitutions.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, fresh from his goal at Krasnodar, is on for Ziyech.
Guirassy hasn’t had a sniff for Rennes all night, and he’s replaced by Adrien Hunou.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    74. That said, that was a golden opportunity for Olivier Giroud to make it four.
The substitute was sent clear by Ziyech, but his attempted dink over Gomis was cut out by the Rennes goalkeeper.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    72. It’s the visiting side that are tidily keeping possession at the moment, which makes you think both sides have settled for 3-0.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    68. For heaven’s sake, it’s another substitute.
Antonio Rudiger – remember him? – is on for Thiago Silva.
These multiple subs are worse than the mess they’ve made of the handball rule.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    67. This must be the hat-trick for Werner… No!
A brilliant move from Chelsea starts with Thiago Silva’s wonderful 40-yard pass into the path of Reece James.
The full-back is on to it like a flash, and delivers another pass on the plate across the face of Gomis’ goal.
Coming on to it at the far post, Werner looks a certainty to net but fails to make contact after a desperate defensive lunge at the last.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    65. Jorginho goes into the book for bringing down Del Castillo.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    63. Both sides make triple changes..
Clement Grenier, Jeremy Doku and Romain Del Castillo are on for Rennes with Martin Terrier, Steven Nzonzi and Yann Gboho going off.
Meanwhile, Frank Lampard throws on Emerson, Mateo Kovacic and Olivier Giroud, and gives N’Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell and Tammy Abraham a rest.
That was like a testimonial game.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    59. Chilwell comfortably heads away a Rennes corner at the near post.
When you’re 3-0 down and a man light, the last thing you want to do is send a rare set-piece into the first man.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    57. It has the feel of a training game now as Chelsea make use of their one-man advantage.
On the touchline, a whole host of home substitutes are warming up, hoping to get in on the action.

    CHELSEA 3-0 RENNES
    53. Some rare respite for the Rennes defenders as one – Nayef Aguerd – gets on the end of a free-kick to head over Mendy’s crossbar.
It will be back to desperately tracking Chelsea forwards shortly for the centre-back, and you fear that the home side could rack up as many as they like this evening.

    85. Poor from Greenwood, he managed to get the ball to the byline in a dangerous area.

Gulbrandsen played under Solskjaer at Molde.

    BASAKSEHIR 2-1 MAN UNITED
    76. Pogba isn’t aware of his surroundings and he loses out to Rafael on the edge of the Basaksehir penalty area.
The counter attack is launched through Turuc, he cuts inside before playing it the the opposite flank (left).
Visca tries to beat Fosu-Mensah but he is unsuccessful.

    BASAKSEHIR 2-1 MAN UNITED
    74. More changes from Solskjaer, he’s bringing on Fosu-Mensah and Greenwood for Rashford and Wan-Bissaka.
If there’s someone who can grab a goal for United, it’s Greenwood.

    BASAKSEHIR 2-1 MAN UNITED

However, when it comes to the final ball in the final third, they’re as blunt as a butter knife!

    BASAKSEHIR 2-1 MAN UNITED
    67. Wonderful build-up play by United, Martial gets to the byline and attempts to glide past Rafael but the former United man came out on top to clear the danger.

The second half was more of the same as just after half time Mo Salah made it 3-0, the Egyptian picked up the ball and drove towards the edge of the box, cut onto his left foot and curled it past Sportiello.
Just two minutes later it was 4-0 Salah slid a through ball down the left for Mane to chase, the Atalanta keeper came out together the ball but Mane kept his head and chipped the ball over the keeper.
Jota sealed his hat trick 10 minutes later this time Mane turning provider and sliding a pass beyond the Atalanta defence for Jota, Sportiello came a long way to clear the ball, but the new Reds hero knocked it past him before slotting into an empty net.
Liverpool continued to press for more goals and the home side to their credit git forward when they could but it was an easy night’s work for Klopp’s boys who now sit atop group D with nine points from their three games.

Real Madrid 3 Inter Milan 2 LIVE REACTION: Rodrygo nets winner to decide Champions League thriller in Spanish capital

REAL MADRID and Inter Milan played out a superb Champions League clash with Rodrygo netting a late winner.
Final score: Real Madrid 3-2 Inter Milan
Follow ALL the reaction with our blog below…

    GOODNIGHT FROM SPAIN
Before this encounter, both Real Madrid and Inter Milan referred to this evening as a cup final, and that’s how it played out.
Both clubs may be a shadow of their former glories, but together they produced a night of frenzied, attacking football with plenty of mistakes and the odd moments of brilliance.
It was Real Madrid who ended the game victorious, thanks to a goal off the bench from Rodrygo, ably assisted by his fellow substitute Vinicius Junior.
Stopping a run of four Champions League matches without a win, it also moved the La Liga side into third spot in Group B, a point behind leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.
Inter depart Spain rooted to the bottom, but it could have been so different had they kept their cool after pulling level.
Two goals down inside 33 minutes, the Nerazzurri had rallied to draw level through Lautaro Martinez – wonderfully set up by Nicolo Barella’s audacious backheel – and Ivan Perisic, only to throw the game away again in the final stages.
Instead, Los Blancos took the points and plaudits, ending the night with the same delight with which it had begun as goals from Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos set them on their way.
The final word should be for Ramos. The Real Madrid captain knows all about lifting the Champions League trophy, and tonight scored his 100th goal for his club. An absolutely astonishing feat for a centre-back.
These European heavyweights will do it all again in three weeks’ time at the San Siro. Expect more fireworks.
Until then, thanks for reading and goodnight.

    READ ALL ABOUT IT
As we wind down from a frantic night of football at the Alfredo Di Stefano, why not relive the action with Joshua Jones’ match report, hot off the press.

    BARELLA’S BACKHEEL BRILLIANCE
Real Madrid may have taken the points but there’s no doubting the best moment of the game, if not the night.
Moments after Inter had fallen behind, Nicolo Barella produced an exquisite backheeled flick to set up Lautaro Martinez to score.
An outrageous piece of skill from the Italian, expertly finished off by his teammate.

    CASEMIRO IN THE MIDDLE
With Luka Modric approaching the end of his career at the Bernabeu, Casemiro appears to be the man stepping up to to boss the Real Madrid midfield.
The Brazilian was dominant tonight, protecting his backline when defending and dictating tempo in possession.
    Here’s his heatmap.

    21ST CENTURY BOY
Rodrygo has been busy building a reputation for himself in the Champions League.

    FINE MARGINS
There was just one goal difference between the two sides in Madrid, and there was little to separate them elsewhere.

    RODRYGO RESCUES REAL
The Brazilian teenager had been on the pitch for just 16 minutes when he fired home to restore Real Madrid’s lead and earn them a precious victory at the Alfredo Di Stefano.

    LOS BLANCOS B-LIEVE
Victory puts Real Madrid back in contention for the top spot in Group B, a point behind leaders Borussia Monchengladbach and level with Shakhtar Donetsk.
With Real Madrid to come next in Milan, Inter have it all to do at the bottom, but all four sides are in with a shot of qualification.

    FT: REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
Five goals on a frenzied night in the Spanish capital ends in victory for Real Madrid.
Substitute Rodrygo was the match-winner, netting off the bench after Ivan Perisic and Nicolo Barella had cancelled out the home side’s 2-0 lead given to them by Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos.

    PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
    THAT’S IT IN MADRID!

    REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
90+3. A brilliant stop by Handanovic at the near post denies Benzema.
There will be no goal for the the French striker, but that should be enough for his side to claim all three points in Group B.

    REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
90+2. A yellow card for Courtois after the goalkeeper chose the second minute of stoppage time to do some lengthy cleaning of his studs on the post.

    REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
90+1. Inter keep the ball as they try to carve out one last opportunity.
For perhaps the first time this evening, Madrid are holding their shape really well.

    REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
    90. Modric settles down his teammates with some level-headed possession play.
There will be three minutes of added time for Madrid to see out.

    REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
    88. Brozovic takes aim from outside the area, but is denied by a brilliant block by Casemiro.
Madrid are holding firm, but this is not over yet.

    REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
    86. Alexis Sanchez stands over a free-kick 25 yards from the Real Madrid goal.
Will this be the Alexis Sanchez of old? The Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal.
No, it’s the Alexis Sanchez of Manchester United, and he tamely lifts his shot into the defensive wall.

    REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER
    84. It’s all happening in Madrid!
There are Inter shouts for a penalty at one end as the ball bounced up off the arm of Rodrygo; replays show that it was accidental and just outside the box.
Second later, down the other end, Benzema has the simplest of opportunities to roll in at the far post but gets his stance wrong and almost stands on the ball when it looked easier to score.

    80. What a double substitution from Zinedine Zidane!
One of Real’s newcomers, Vinicius Junior burst down the left flank and sent a low delivery across the 18-yard-box to Rodrygo.
The home side’s other substitute, took one touch to steady himself before firing high into the roof of the net.
Madrid lead again on this topsy-turvy night!
    REAL MADRID 3-2 Inter

    GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLL!!
    RODRYGO RESTORES REAL’S LEAD!!

    REAL MADRID 2-2 INTER
    78. A double change for Inter.
Ivan Perisic has run himself into the ground and makes way for Alexis Sanchez.
Also on is Roberto Gagliardini for Nicolo Barella.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid bring on Luka Modric for Toni Kroos.

    REAL MADRID 2-2 INTER
    76. Madrid feel they need a win, but Inter are looking the more likely.
A terrible headed from Mendy allows Martinez to steal in and shoot, but the Argentine is off target.
Moments later, Perisic bursts into the box, but angles his effort wide of the far post.

    REAL MADRID 2-2 INTER
    72. Another minute, another yellow card.
Nicolo Barella is booked for bringing down Vinicius Junior.

    REAL MADRID 2-2 INTER
    71. This contest shows no sign of slowing up.
Kroos attempts to restore Madrid’s lead, only to shoot straight at Handanovic from just inside the box.

    68. Just like Saturday, Inter have pulled themselves level from 2-0 down.
The game had opened up considerably, a fourth goal looked imminent, and it’s the Italians who have it.
After a Madrid move broke down, Lautaro Martínez headed through for Ivan Perisic, and the Croatian kept calm to trundle a shot beyond Thibaut Courtois.
Either side could win this one now.
    Real Madrid 2-2 INTER

    GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLL!!
    IVAN PERISIC EQUALISES!!

Atalanta 0 Liverpool 5 LIVE REACTION: Mane, Salah and Jota all on target as five-star Reds dominate Champions League tie

LIVERPOOL turned on the style as they hit five past Serie A side Atalanta in their Champions League clash.
Follow all the reaction from Italy with our blog below…

    THAT’S A WRAP
Thanks for joining us this evening, don’t forget to check out our match report here.

    BOSS SPEAKS
When asked if it was Liverpool’s best performance of the season, Jurgen Klopp said: ” I don’t want to compare, it was the performance we needed.
“My boys played an incredible game; front line and defending were outstanding, midfield organisation, desire and readiness were top top level.
“Gomez who is a key player for them, tonight we defended him well. We potentially could have scored more goals but our goalie made three world class saves, so it was a team effort and the whole team were outstanding.
“Tonight for Atalanta it was difficult, I don’t think any system could have defended us tonight- it wasn’t about the system, it’s just how we played.”
Speaking ahead of their clash with Manchester City this weekend, Klopp added: “We have a day or two to recover from this and we will need it!
“Then we’ll see who’s available and who can line up- City are a different team and play differently, so we’ll see.”

    LIVERPOOL LEGENDS
Tonight, Mo Salah equalled Steven Gerrard’s record of goals in Europe.
Liverpool’s 5-0 win was the biggest ever by an English club away to Italian opposition in European competition.

    JOTA NIGHT
Speaking after the game, Diogo Jota said: “I’m playing with he best team of my career so far.
“Obviously scoring goals is my way of playing football, so it’s a good night.
“The first goal was my favourite as it unlocked the game, it was a good moment for me and the team as it allowed us to control the game our way.
“Five goals doesn’t happen very often, so that’s good and so is a clean sheet. If we can do a clean sheet against City then I think we can win the game.”
When asked about linking up with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, he added: “They’re two world class players, we all know their quality and it makes my job easier.”

    TABLE TOPPERS
After Liverpool’s dominant performance, they’re now five points clear at the top of the their group.
It’s been a good start for English teams in Europe, as City are also top of their group having won their opening three games.

    PERFECT START
Liverpool have yet to concede a goal in the group stages of this Champions League campaign.

    HAPPY CHAPPY
Jota gets the match ball and he’s only the third Liverpool player to score a hattrick away from home in the Champions League.
Klopp will be delighted with what he saw across the board tonight, including a clean sheet from a new defensive partnership.

    FT: ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    92. VAR check complete, Liverpool have kept a clean sheet.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    91. Liverpool are desperate to preserve their clean sheet as Gomez stops Zepata on the byline.
    Out for an Atalanta corner.
Corner is cleared at the near post, but Atalanta keep it alive at the edge of the area, it’s slipped through to Zepata who pokes it into the back of the net but he’s offside.
    VAR check incoming..

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    90. Two additional minutes… Atalanta surely will have wanted their misery to end at 90.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    88. Alisson is called upon to make another decent save from an Atalanta corner.
Malinovskyi curls it in as Ruggeri greets it with his head, but as he attempts to nod it down to the bottom left corner, Alisson gathers.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    88. Klopp’s record against Italian oppositions hasn’t been great, but tonight he’s put a dent in that.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    87. Nico Williams is on the move and Ruggeri can’t keep up down the right wing.
Williams swings it into the box, but it’s cleared by Freuler.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    86. Firmino is shoved off the ball by Malinovskyi and appeals for a free kick, but ref dismisses him.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    84. Atalanta have been far too open this evening, they’ll need to shut up shop for their trip to Anfield.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    82. From another Atalanta corner, Liverpool almost catch Atalanta out again.
It’s Salah that’s sent on his way and he breaks away from the defence, looking as though he’ll get his second. But, as he attempts to slip it into the far corner from the left of the box, it takes a slight deflection from Sportiello and goes out.
It’s out for a corner which is taken short to Milner, the captain whips it in to Mane in the centre of the area as he nods the ball towards goal but it’s right at Sportiello.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    81. Zepata has another chance, but he’s denied by Alisson at point-blank range.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    80. Late changes for Atalanta; Ruggeri is on for Mojica as Hateboer is replaced by Depaoli.
Liverpool make their final changes too; Nico Williams replaces Trent Alexander-Arnold and Tsimikas is on for Wijnaldum.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    69. Toloi goes down following a shoulder barge from Mane, both were tussling for the ball.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    78. Milner is the latest player to fancy a goal.
A great break from Liverpool sees Milner played through on the left of the area.
He bursts into the box and pushes the ball to his right foot, but his shot is deflected and goes out for a corner.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    76. Salah is showing off his speed again, as he tries to get on the end of a long-loopy ball, but he’s beaten to the bouncing ball by Sportiello.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    74. An opportunity for Atalanta is snuffed out by Gomez as Malinovskyi races down the left and attempts to swing the ball into the box.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    73. Klopp is booked for his troubles – he’s been in the fourth official’s ear about the penalty decision.

    ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
    72. Liverpool are appealing for a pen, but ref is having none of it.
Firmino controls a pass from Salah with a few keepy uppies before sliding it through to Jones who’s taken down.
But, it wasn’t a sloppy tackle.

Leeds 1 Leicester 4 LIVE REACTION: Tielemans, Vardy and Barnes all net as Foxes run riot at Elland Road

LEEDS were humbled by Leicester as the Foxes hit four on a soggy night in West Yorkshire.
    Final score: Leeds 1-4 Leicester
Follow ALL the action with our blog below…

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
That is all from tonight’s live blog of that fantastic win for Leicester away at Leeds.
Harvery Barnes and Youri Tielemans set the Foxes on their way before Stuart Dallas’ cross pulled the home side back into it.
But Jamie Vardy and a Tielemans penalty late on secured all three points and maintained City’s perfect start on the road this season.
Read Graeme Bryce’s match report from Elland Road here.

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
Pochettino labels Rodgers “one of the great managers” after his side’s masterclass.
And he reveals how important the former Liverpool boss was for him when he arrived in England, making him feel welcome and speaking in Spanish to the then-Southampton gaffer.

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
Rodgers on Wesley Fofana: “He is a real talent. He wants to defend. Our recruitment team did a brilliant job identifying him.
“One of the things you need to be able to do in the Premier League is head the ball and he can jump as high as this stadium, he’s got a great leap, he’s aggressive, he wants to defend forward which I like. And he can pass the ball.
“He comes and joins Jonny Evans who is a top, top defender and Cags [Soyuncu].
“It’s great to have a 19-year-old and he’s going to develop. We know he’s going to make mistakes along the way but you saw in the middle of a back three – he was superb.”

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
Brendan Rodgers is speaking to Sky Sports…
And starts off by telling Mauricio Pochettino in the studio his holidays are over and it’s time to get back to work!
The Northern Irishman then praises the way his players were tactically impressive throughout, especially defensively, tonight.
He highlights the importance of being able to win football matches in different styles.

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
Replays of that Vardy goal shows the quality throughout.
Maddison’s touch to receive the ball and open himself – and the pitch – up was excellent.
The pass through to Under was spot on.
And then the dink across from the Turk is top drawer.
Puts it on a plate for Vardy who makes no mistake to roll home and kill the game at a time when Leeds were dressing.

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
And this shows just how well the Foxes have started…

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
Jamie Vardy in the Premier League this season.
    Appearances: 6
    Shots: 13
    Shots on target: 9
    Goals: 7

    FT: LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
Leeds could have gone third tonight but instead they stay 12th on ten points.
For Leicester, they jump up to second on 15 points, one adrift of leaders Liverpool.
The Foxes have a goal difference of +8, six better than the champions.

    PEEEEP!!!
    It’s all over.
Four wins out of four on the road for Leicester: West Brom, Manchester City, Arsenal, Leeds.
Vardy scoring in all of them.
The Foxes are flying and sit second in the table.

    LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
90+4′ Fuchs is up in the Leeds corner shielding the ball and winding down the clock.
There are just seconds to go…

    LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
90+3′ Bamford’s miserable evening ends the way it started. Frustrated.
The striker lashes at a bouncing ball with his left boot from close range but it flies over.
    The flag was up anyway.

    LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
90+1′ Four minutes added on at Elland Road.
Is there time for another goal?

    LEEDS 1-4 LEICESTER
    90+1′ No mistake from Tielemans.
He steps up and sends Meslier the wrong way.
Meslier went to his left, Tielemans put it in the opposite direction and that is his first Premier League double.
That’s four goals and three points for the Foxes.

    GGOOOOAAAALLLL!!!!
Tielemans sticks it in the top corner!!!!

    PENALTY TO LEICESTER!!!
90′ That is VAR at its very best.
It is a clumsy challenge from Klich, just inside the box.
Marriner takes two looks at it and points to the spot.
No Vardy on the pitch so Tielemans steps up…

    LEEDS 1-3 LEICESTER
88′ Marriner has been told to go and have a look for himself.
He is trotting over the monitor.
Replays suggest that could well be a penalty…
It was on the line if not in it…

    LEEDS 1-3 LEICESTER
87′ Leicester have got the ball exactly where they want it – in the Leeds half.
They win a corner which Justin almost gets on the end of before Leeds struggle to get it clear.
Leicester want a penalty for a collision right on the corner of the box but Marriner says no and it is play on.
It was Klich coming through the back of Maddison and the playmaker certainly has a case.
    VAR will check it…

    LEEDS 1-3 LEICESTER
84′ That is that for Jamie Vardy: a goal and two assists.
And it is nine in six away appearances for the Fox in the Box.
He is replaced by captain Wes Morgan who will slot in at the back.
Thomas picks up a yellow for a foul on Poveda on the Leeds right… and Morgan heads clear immediately.
Exactly what he was brought on to do.

    LEEDS 1-3 LEICESTER
83′ Vardy has the chance to make it four… but misses!
He does well to stay onside as Under slips him through from the halfway line.
The No9 is under pressure as he tries to break through.
One on one with the keeper he tries to dink but it goes just wide. Whoops.
Vardy is appealing for a penalty as Meslier caught him as he fell but Marriner – and the VAR – are having none of it.

    LEEDS 1-3 LEICESTER
80′ Leeds bring off Dallas for Ezgjan Alioski in the home side’s final change.
Can he have the same impact as Leicester’s men from the bench?
For Vardy, that is 30 goals since the start of last season – more than anyone else in the Premier League.

    LEEDS 1-3 LEICESTER
76′ A week after Under teed up Vardy for the crucial goal at the Emirates.
And the pair have combined again tonight in devastating fashion.
That all came from the first sub, Maddison, who turns well in midfield, drives and picks out the other sub, Under.
Just as he did in North London, the Turk is unselfish as he chips it across for Vardy to run across and slam it into the unguarded net.
3-1. A hammer blow for Leeds who were pressing for an equaliser.

    GGGOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!!!
That man Vardy does it again!!!!

    LEEDS 1-2 LEICESTER
    74′ BIG MOMENT!
Leeds look as though they are destined to get a penalty when Fuchs slides in on Ayling.
Marriner gives a goal-kick and Leeds are up in arms…
But replays show that it is a brilliant piece of refereeing – Ayling threw himself down without any contact.
In fact, the right-back is lucky not to get booked…

    LEEDS 1-2 LEICESTER
71′ Leeds still have 20 minutes to get a second goal at Elland Road.
    Here was their first…

    LEEDS 1-2 LEICESTER
    69′ Heart-in-mouth moment for Leicester.
The ball comes bouncing over the top and Bamford races Schmeichel to it.
Leicester’s No1 gets there first… just… and touches it against the Leeds striker’s leg and it runs to safety as Fofana sweeps up.
Barnes gets a tame effort on target but that is easy pickings for Meslier.
And that is Barnes’ final action as he makes way for on-loan Turkish winger Cengiz Under.

Usyk vs Chisora LIVE RESULTS: Joshua will ‘one million per cent’ fight Usyk if Fury unavailable – latest updates

OLEKSANDR USYK showed his class as he beat Dereck Chisora at Wembley Arena – but not without a scare.
Del Boy put up a terrific fight and took Usyk the distance, where all three judges narrowly scored it the way of the Ukrainian.

And Anthony Joshua is ready to take on the challenge of fighting Usyk if a bout with Tyson Fury can’t be agreed.
Follow ALL the reaction from Wembley Arena below…

    FACE THE USYK
Oleksandr Usyk has Anthony Joshua well within his sights having remained his mandatory challenger.
Usyk beat Dereck Chisora on points and in doing so remained the No1 contender for Joshua’s WBO belt.
And the former cruiserweight king ramped up the pressure on AJ by demanding he either fights him next or vacates the titles.
Eddie Hearn – who promotes both – revealed if Joshua cannot fight Tyson Fury, then he will ‘100 per cent’ fight Usyk.
Here, SunSport compares the superstars ahead of a potential heavyweight headliner next year.

    FRANKLY SPEAKING
Tyson Fury has chosen to fight Agit Kabayel on his UK homecoming, promoter Frank Warren revealed.
The Gypsy King has decided to walk away from a trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder, after the rematch clause expired last month.
Warren confirmed the news on talkSPORT and revealed a contract is being sent to Kabayel – a former sparring partner of Joshua’s.
He said: “Tyson’s fighting on December 5.
“We’re giving the guy we wanna fight, which is Kabayel, we’re giving him 24 hours now to sign the contract or we’re gonna move on.
“He’s undefeated and has a win on his record over Derek Chisora. He [was] the European champion and he’s ranked by the WBC.
“That’s who’s sitting at the moment on a contract and we’re waiting.
“He’s got about 24 hours now to make his mind up to sign it and send it back or we’ll move on. He’s the fight, subject to the contract being signed.”

    LO’S BLOWS
Gervonta Davis and Teofimo Lopez’s recent breakthrough wins shook up boxing’s mythical pound-for-pound rankings.
Vasilily Lomachenko came up against a younger and bigger man in a weight class about three divisions above his natural home as Lopez stunned the Ukrainian.
Here SunSport’s Wally Downes Jr ranks the top ten…

    FIGHT OR FLIGHT
Anthony Joshua’s clash with Kubrat Pulev could still end up being staged abroad — to cover an £8million Covid KO.
Watford hero AJ’s mandatory defence against the Bulgarian was meant to be at Tottenham’s new stadium in June, securing him a monster payday.
But the coronavirus crisis forced the fight to be delayed until December 12.
Promoter Eddie Hearn secured London’s O2 to host it and pleaded with Government to allow some socially distanced fans inside.
But latest lockdown rules floored that idea — leaving a huge financial blackhole.
And that may force them to seek out a venue outside the UK after Saudi Arabia stumped up £100m for Joshua’s 2019 rematch win against Andy Ruiz.
Having watched Oleksandr Usyk outpoint Derek Chisora on Saturday at Wembley Arena, Hearn said: “We have the best bubble in boxing and elite sport is not part of lockdown.
“We can sustain it — but we want to be a profitable business.
“We lost what would have been a £2m gate at the O2 for this fight.
“We made it up by sticking some of ours in, Sky adding some and the fighters taking less to balance it out.
“AJ was going to take £8m on the gate at Spurs so obviously he is taking a pay cut.
“We will try to have fans at the Joshua fight — but we could also take it somewhere internationally.”

    TEAR GER-KING
Floyd Mayweather, 43, insisted his protege Gervonta Davis is top of the pile.
He said: “We really want to enjoy this victory. Soon, a fight is over, the first ten seconds ‘Who do you wanna fight? Who do you wanna fight?’
“Tank is the top dog. Tank is on pay-per-view for a reason. Tank is where he is at for a reason.
“So we don’t wanna come up here and call different names, we wanna fight him, we wanna fight him, we don’t want to do that.
“What we wanna do is let him go home, enjoy himself, his daughter, his family, his team, and then we will talk about that, 20-30 days from now, but he should be able to enjoy his victory.”

    U GOT A DEAL
Anthony Joshua will ‘one million per cent’ face Oleksandr Usyk if a fight with Tyson Fury cannot be agreed, reveals Eddie Hearn.
Usyk maintained his mandatory position for Joshua’s WBO belt after beating Dereck Chisora on points on Saturday.
Hearn said: “AJ wants to fight Usyk.
“It’s all business, money is important to them but Usyk wants a heavyweight world title.
“If we can’t make the Fury fight and AJ beats Pulev, he is fighting Usyk one million per cent.”

    SANTA’S LITTLE YELPER
Leo Santa Cruz has tweeted to reassure fans he is “OK” after being taken to hospital after Gervonta Davis knocked him out with one of the punches of the year.
American Davis added the Mexican’s WBA super-lightweight crown to his own WBA lightweight title with a stunning left uppercut in round six.

    USYK ULTIMATUM
Oleksandr Usyk has demanded Anthony Joshua fights him or relinquishes his WBO heavyweight belt.
The Ukrainian heavyweight outpointed Dereck Chisora on Saturday night to reinforce his status as mandatory challenger.
He told Sky Sports News: “I am the mandatory for Joshua so he has two options.
“One; to fight me. Two; to vacate and to go and fight Fury. Either he fights me or relinquishes.”

    WILD CLAIM
Deontay Wilder sensationally claimed his ‘water was SPIKED’ against Tyson Fury.
The desperate American released a video online listing several excuses nine months after he was dethroned of the WBC title by Fury.
In a fresh accusation with absolutely no evidence provided, Wilder has said his drink was tampered with, which he claims weakened his legs.
He told 78SPORTSTV: “About 15 minutes before going out to the fight, warming up on the mitts, it was perfect, I felt great.
“Until I went to the ring. That transformation, I was drinking certain water and stuff, trying to keep myself hydrated.
“I just start feeling weird. My water was spiked as if I took a muscle relaxer or something like that.”

    ED LOSS
Eddie Hearn blasted Deontay Wilder’s ‘ridiculous’ allegations of cheating made at Tyson Fury and said ‘Let the real men go at it’.
Wilder accused Fury of loading his gloves with ‘something hard’ and slammed him for cancelling their trilogy bout.
Hearn told iFL TV’s Kugan Cassius: “It’s ridiculous. “Listen, park him to the side, let the big boys, the real men go at it.
“Unless you’ve got any real substance then be quiet, go back to the drawing board, work harder, let the hunger burn to become champion again.
“It’s gone from the costume, to now he’s been found out about AJ, to now something about the gloves. It’s getting worse and worse.”

    BELLEW’S VIEW
Tony Bellew says he was ‘gutted’ to see his mate Derek Chisora lose on points to former undisputed cruiserweight Oleksandr Usyk.
And Bellew took to Twitter to congratulate the Ukrainian. In a tweet Bellew said: “Gutted last night! Thought it was a really good fight and one I need to look back on!
“I thought it was close and speaking to Alex (Usyk Man) who had it draw I was struggling to see anything but a close one!
“Fair play to the champ he’s proven he’s a heavyweight to be reckoned with.”

    WILD POST
Deontay Wilder’s full video and Instagram post where he calls out Tyson Fury.
    Some outlandish claims…

    THE MORNING AFTER
Dereck Chisora said he was ‘gutted’ after losing to Oleksandr Usyk on points.
Chisora slammed his Ukrainian opponent and said on his Instagram story: “Homeboy was running away like a motherf*****.”

    WORKED TILL THE BELL
Tony Bellew belives Dereck Chisora’s hard work in the ring against Oleksandr Usyk means not many would have complained if he’d been given the decision by the judges.

Bellew: Chisora outworked Usyk 👀@TonyBellew says there would not have been too many complaints if Derek Chisora had been given the decision against Oleksandr Usyk.
    — Sky Sports Boxing (@SkySportsBoxing) November 1, 2020

    ROAD WARRIOR
Usyk has fought – and WON – in sixth different countries in his last nine fights.

    CAMERA SHY
Chisora’s team acted swiftly to BLOCK the in-dressing room camera as they went through fight tactics.
The Brit was just minutes away from his mouthwatering clash against Oleksandr Usyk when Sky Sports Box Office went to their cameras.
One of his trainers was talking about boxing movement with Chisora, who was seated on an exercise bike.
Realising that what was being discussed was going live, another member of the team quickly moved towards the camera and pointed the lens to the floor.
There was then some searching around for a towel to make sure no secrets got out.
Just minutes later his rival Usyk decided to use TAPE to cover up his camera – maybe Sky Sports will be reviewing these live cameras for next time.

    FROM WLAD TO WORSE
Wladimir Klitschko has accused Tyson Fury of using drugs again.
Fury, 32, stunned the world when he went to Germany in 2015 and totally outboxed the ten-year champion to become the unified king.
And, five years later, when the WBC sanctioning body asked their Twitter followers how Wladimir’s older brother Vitali would have done in this era,
Fury had another pop at the fighting family.
The Gypsy King wrote: “Would [have] loved to kick his ass also.” Wladimir saw the message and dived in to defend his elder sibling, who was a three-time heavyweight world champion between 1999 and 2012.
The retired legend slammed Fury for never having their rematch and brought up sick comments the Brit made in his checkered past.

Fans, Sadly it appears @Tyson_Fury is abusing substances again. History shows he goes off the deep end with irrational, sexist, racial, statements.Truth is Klitschko and ass kick is fantasy for him. Klitschko and run, ran, or dodged the rematch is more accurate. “Just say no” pal

    MACK THE KNIFE
Matthew Macklin has revealed his scorecard for Chisora-Usyk, with one clear winner.

I thought it was 116-112 to Usyk. Just cos Delboy has a great chin and was taking Usyks shots no problem, doesn’t mean they weren’t scoring shots. Fantastic effort from Chisora but I thought Usyk was a clear winner in a hard fight.

    TED TALK
Hall Of Fame trainer Teddy Atlas has had his say on the fight.

    NOT JUST WORLD, UNDISPUTED
Oleksandr Usyk was quick to pick up on the interviewer after his points triumph over Derek Chisora at Wembley Stadium.
When asked if he was still aiming for the world heavyweight title, having moved up from cruiserweight, he said: “Not just world, undisputed.”

    ANT AND DECKED
Anthony Joshua was an eager ringside viewer at Wembley Stadium. Usyk is now mandatory for his WBO belt.

Tottenham 2 Brighton 1 LIVE REACTION: Gareth Bale scores winner off bench as Spurs pick up big three points

GARETH BALE was the Spurs hero as the Welshman came off the bench to net winner against Brighton.
    Final score: Tottenham 2-1 Brighton
Follow all the latest updates below…

    STAT ATTACK
Here are the match stats, provided by the BBC.
But the most important one is the scoreline, as Spurs sneaked past Brighton 2-1.

    TITLE CHANCES?
Spurs were lucky to beat Brighton, yet are still sitting pretty in second spot.
Asked whether his new team can win the Premier League, Bale added: “[It’s] very competitive, we know not to get too carried away.
“There are some great teams, we are just going to keep working as hard as we can.”

    AND HERE IS THE MATCHWINNER!
Gareth Bale told Sky Sports: “It’s a great feeling. You just want to come on and do a job for the team. I worked for the team and was lucky enough to get the goal.
“It was obviously great play from Sergio Reguilon and I was in the right place at the right time. It’s nice to get off the mark.
“Everyone always talks about individuals but I’ve always said I’m a team player, I’d be happy coming on doing a job even if it’s defending. The most important thing is the collective.
“We are growing every game. Even if we make mistakes we are learning from them and we can only use that as a positive.
“I haven’t played a lot of football. I had a little problem with my knee so it’s taking a bit of time. I am working hard in training and when I get chances.”

    CONTROVERSIAL DECISION
Referee Graham Scott gave the goal for Brighton and Tariq Lamptey.
But it seemed there was a clear and obvious foul on Hojberg in the build up.

    SPURS GO SECOND!
Bale is the matchwinner as Mourinho’s side go second in the Premier League behind defending champions Liverpool.
Brighton, as they usually do, played some nice stuff, but that isn’t enough.
Another defeat for Graham Potter’s side sees them fliriting with the relegation spots. The Seagulls will need to show more ruthelessness if they are to survive this season.
