    MANE’S IMPACT
Since Mane joined Liverpool, their Premier League win percentage without him is 58 percent, compared to 69 percent with him.
The only Premier League game he has missed this season was the 7-2 defeat to Villa.

    MORE GOALS FOR MO?
Since the 2017/18 season, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has scored in six of his seven Premier League games against West Ham, netting seven goals.

    SUPER SOUCEK
Tomas Soucek’s seven Premier League goals have been worth 10 points to West Ham so far this season.
The last player whose goals earned the Hammers more points in a single Premier League campaign was Dean Ashton in 2007-08 (11).
Soucek netted twice for the Hammers in Tuesday’s win over Crystal Palace, and will be hoping to get on the scoresheet again tonight.

    NO JESSE
Jesse Lingard completed a loan move to West Ham from Manchester United on Friday.
Today’s game comes too early for Lingard to feature though, with Wednesday’s game against Aston Villa likely to be Lingard’s first involvement for the Hammers.
Speaking on his move to East London, Lingard said:
“I’m excited. It’s another new chapter in my life. Nothing is guaranteed but I’ve come here to work hard and help the team and bring my experience. That’s the main aim.
“I just want to enjoy my football and get back playing again and get my feet back on the pitch.”

    ONE GOAL KINGS
West Ham’s first two Premier League wins this season were 4-0 against Wolves and 3-0 against Leicester.
Since then, the Hammers have won eight more league games, with each of these victories being by a one-goal margin.

    CAPTAIN FANTASTIC
It’s a milestone day for Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson.
He becomes the fourth highest capped Premier League player in Liverpool’s history.

    MISSING MANE
A minor muscle strain is the reason for Sadio Mane’s absence today.
Divock Origi leads the line for the Reds with Roberto Firmino also dropping to the bench.
Xherdan Shaqiri and Mohamed Salah make up the rest of Liverpool’s front three.

    LIVERPOOL BENCH

Here’s how the Hammers line-up this afternoon:
    1 Fabianski, 5 Coufal, 15 Dawson, 21 Ogbonna, 3 Cresswell, 41 Rice, 28 Soucek, 18 Fornals, 20 Bowen, 9 Benrahma, 30 Antonio

    GOLDEN BOOT RACE
Mohamed Salah has not found the net in the Premier League since the 7-0 rout of Crystal Palace on December 19.
He still leads the race for the golden boot, but will want to get back among the goals this afternoon.

    LAST TIME OUT
It’s just over a year to the day since these sides last met at the London Stadium.
Mohamed Salah and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were on the scoresheet for the Reds that day.

    IN FORM HAMMERS
West Ham have won each of their last six games in all competitions.
Only twice in their history have they won seven in a row, doing so between November/December 1985 and January/February 2006.
David Moyes will be hoping his West Ham side can be the third to achieve such a feat this afternoon.

    IN THE BUILDING
The home side arriving at the London Stadium ahead of this afternoon’s clash with Liverpool.
David Moyes’ Hammers are looking to pick a fifth league win on the bounce.

    AS IT STANDS
The Hammers can go above Liverpool and into the top four with a win this afternoon, while Liverpool can close the gap on leaders Manchester City to four points with a victory.
It should be an absolute belter.
Team news is coming up in twenty-five minutes.

    BOGEY TEAM
West Ham United are winless in nine Premier League matches against Liverpool (D2 L7).
It’s their worst run against them since going ten games without a win between September 2000 and January 2007.
Can David Moyes’ side end that winless run this afternoon?

    BACK IN TOWN
The Reds are back in the capital after Thursday night’s win at Tottenham.
That was only the second win in nine league games for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who today face the highest placed team in London.

    GOOD AFTERNOON
Welcome to our live coverage of West Ham United against Liverpool.
It’s fourth against fifth in the Premier League, with the Hammers two points behind last year’s champions at the start of play.
David Moyes’ side have won three games on the bounce and will be looking to capitalise on an injury ravaged Liverpool side.
Fabinho and Joel Matip have picked up recent knocks to add to Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez being long term absentees.
Nat Phillips or Rhys Williams are set to partner Jordan Henderson in a hastily assembled back line.
Having ended a run of 482 minutes in the league without a goal in Thursday night’s 3-1 win over Tottenham, Jurgen Klopp’s side are looking to pick up back-to-back league wins for the first time since October.
West Ham though will be full of confidence coming into the game, having won all six games so far in 2021.
The Hammers have never won six successive games at the start of a calendar year in their entire history.
Jesse Lingard could make his debut for the Hammers after signing on loan from Manchester United earlier this week, while Arthur Masuaku and Darren Randolph remain out for David Moyes.
Kick off is at 4.30pm and team news will follow shortly.

Chelsea vs Burnley LIVE REACTION: Alonso and Azpilicueta goals give Tuchel first win as Blues boss against poor Clarets

THOMAS TUCHEL has claimed his first win as Chelsea boss after a dominant win over toothless Burnley.
The Blues took the lead through Cesar Azpilicueta just before half time, then forgotten man Marcos Alonso bagged a brilliant second.

Elsewhere Callum Hudson-Odoi was brilliant at wing back and hit the post, creating the opening goal as well.
Stay up to date with every kick from Stamford Bridge in our live blog…

    THAT’S ALL FOLKS
Thomas Tuchel may possibly have just had the easiest game of his Chelsea managerial career this afternoon.
The Blues were dominant from start to finish and that’s no exaggeration because Burnley’s ONLY shot of the game came in additional time right at the end.
After a mixed bag of missed opportunities and tamed efforts, it took an overlapping Azplicueta to fire a rocket of an effort past Nick Pope after the Spaniard was expertly picked out by Callum Hudson-Odoi.
I may have mentioned this once or twice, but Hudson-Odoi was unreal today.
The home side picked up from where they left off in the second half, not allowing the Clarets to have a moments rest.
More shots were fired at Burnley’s goalkeeper but pure luck was keeping Chelsea at bay.
Until a forgotten man named Marcos Alonso popped up with an absolute blinder of a goal – potentially goal of the season to put the Blues two up.
Tarkwoski did manage to conjure up a last minute header for Dyche’s men but nothing really to trouble Mendy.
That’s four points out of a possible six for the new boss Tuchel but his first real test will come on Thursday against Spurs.
Thank you for sticking with me family and please go check out Alonso’s goal (see in blog) because it was amazing.
    Have a good Sunday!

    UPDATED LEAGUE TABLE
Those 3 points move Chelsea up to 7th spot closing the gap on the top four to 4 points before Liverpool play West Ham later on this afternoon.
As for Burnley, they drop to 16th because of the two goals they shipped in today’s match.

    UPCOMING FIXTURES
It doesn’t get any easier for the Blues and Thomas Tuchel because their next Premier League encounter is a London derby against the mighty Spurs.
I’m looking forward to that one.

    SHARING IS CARING
Azpilicueta and Alonso become Chelsea’s 14th and 15th goal scorers this season.

    MORE FROM THOMAS TUCHEL
“I was very pleased again with the performance, it’s very important to have a win because it gives us a boost and it gives us the most confidence possible.
“It was a very, very good performance. We controlled the match completely, we never lost intensity and we never lost the focus or awareness.
“It should be a signal to our guys up-front that we needed two defensive players to score. We lack in the moment, precision in the last pass, precision in the last touch and the finishing, we will work on this.

    TUCHEL’S QUOTES ON WERNER
The Chelsea boss had a few words to say about Timo Werner currently being out of form.

No talks, no hugs, no warm words can make up for this feeling.

“Maybe we need as stupid goal, a deflection or whatever for him.
“As long as the guys work as long as the guys are reliable in their positions and in their work rate for the team, we will push them, there’s no doubt about it.”

    FULL TIME STATS
The Blues continued their dominance for the remainder of the game.
An all round brilliant performance for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

    ALONSOOOOOO!
No he’s not a striker, he just has a striker’s finish. Take a look at Marcos Alonso’s goal which put the result beyond doubt.

Marcos Alonso that is special 🤩Chelsea’s right-back opened the scoring, but it was the left-back who sealed the deal!Any striker would be proud of that finish 🔥 pic.twitter.com/vKnPo4ScLA
    — Football on BT Sport (@btsportfootball) January 31, 2021

    PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
    AND THAT’S THAT!
TUCHEL PICKS UP HIS FIRST 3 POINTS IN CHARGE!
    FT: CHELSEA 2-0 BURNLEY

    CHELSEA 2-0 BURNLEY
    90+4. OOOOF NEARLY!
James Tarkowski just over the bar, unlucky.
At least they managed to get one shot right at the end of the game.

    CHELSEA 2-0 BURNLEY
90+3. Finally a good free-kick which caused trouble but Silva got it away for a corner.
Can Burnley leave Stamford Bridge with a goal?

    CHELSEA 2-0 BURNLEY
90+2. Burnley have the chance to get a shot on target with a set-piece about 30 yards out.

    CHELSEA 2-0 BURNLEY
    90. With four minutes of additional time to go, Chelsea are still hungry for the third.
Pulisic put in a brilliant cross with the outside of the boot but neither Werner or Havertz busted a gut to get on the end of it.

    ACROBATIC ALONSO!
Fantastic finish from the forgotten man.

Pulisic from the left hand side flicked the ball into Alonso who found himself in the box with his back to goal.
The left-back controlled it on his chest, brought it down onto his knee, swiveled and volleyed the ball past Nick Pope with power.
Great way to mark his return to the team and it was well deserved.
    CHELSEA 2-0 BURNELY

    GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL
    WOW WHAT A GOAL ALONSOOOO!
DIDN’T EXPECT THAT FINISH AT ALL!

    CHELSEA 1-0 BURNLEY
    78. Havertz is on for Mason Mount and he nearly slid in Werner with literally his first involvement.
What a start to the game that would of been for him.

    CHELSEA 1-0 BURNLEY
    77. Chelsea just popping the ball around comfortably with no pressure what so ever.
How they haven’t got the second amuses me.
But the longer this game goes on, the more you wonder if the Clarets steal a point.

    DISAPPOINTED DYCHE
The Burnley boss looks on in worry as his team are yet to lay a glove on Chelsea this whole game.

    CHELSEA 1-0 BURNLEY
    72. That was Hudson-Odoi’s last action as he comes off for Reece James in what seems like a tactical substitution.
He has been my man of the match by far.

    CHELSEA 1-0 BURNLEY
    70. Hudson-Odoi has had Pieters in his back pocket this game.
I must sound like a broken record player at this point but he fizzed in another fantastic cross but Pulisic didn’t connect with it good enough resulting in the ball going just wide.
The winger could of had a half a dozen of assists today.

    CHELSEA 1-0 BURNLEY
    67. HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN?!
That same dangerous right hand side for Chelsea called into action again.
Mount with a delightful through ball to Hudson-Odoi who flashed in the ball across the box which hit the outstretched leg of Ben Mee.
And if it wasn’t for the fingertips of Pope, that would of been the second.

    CHELSEA 1-0 BURNLEY
    64. The Clarets still yet to warm up Mendy’s gloves.
This is the easiest game the Chelsea goalkeeper has had in a long while but all it takes is one chance to change the whole complex of the game.

    CHELSEA 1-0 BURNLEY
    62. To make matters worse, Chris Wood has picked up an injury and has to be replaced by Gudmundsson.
No record breaking header for him today unfortunately.

Palmeiras 1 Santos 0 LIVE REACTION: Breno Lopes scores last-minute winner after Cuca SENT OFF in Copa Libertadores final

PALMEIRAS beat Santos 1-0 in the 98th minute thanks to a brilliant Breno Lopes header after the latter side’s manager Cuca was sent off.
    RESULT: Palmeiras 1-0 Santos
Palmeiras XI: Weverton, Luan, Gomez, Vina, Rocha, Ze Rafael, Danilo, Veiga, Menino, Rony, Adriano.
Santos XI: John, Para, Verissimo, Peres, Jonatan, Alison, Pituca, Sandry, Marinho, Kaio Jorge, Soteldo
Follow ALL the action and build-up with our live blog below…

    THAT’S ALL FROM RIO
Palmeiras defeated Santos 1-0 to win their second Copa Libertadores title at the Maracana Stadium.
The Sao Paulo rivals clashed in a rather hapless encounter that saw them enduring a dull first half, which didn’t include any notable goalscoring chances.
Santos came close to scoring an opener twice in the second half as Weverton made a brilliant save to deny a shot by Diego Pituca and then saw the ball brushing past his top left corner following a strike by Felipe Jonatan.
Kaio Jorge then tried to score perhaps the greatest goal in Copa Libertadores history but his overhead kick sent the ball straight to the Palmeiras keeper’s hands.
Santos suffered a significant blow during stoppage time as manager Cuca was sent off following an altercation with Marcos Rocha.
The Brazilian manager picked up the ball in the touchline and the Palmeiras ace thought he was trying to sabotage him and so the two men clashed.
Cuca was shown a red card but Rocha only got booked with a yellow.
It was soon after in the ninth minute of extra time when substitute Breno Lopes scored the winner as he picked up a cross from Rony and headed the ball to the back of John’s net

    GETTY IMAGES – GETTY

    MORE THAN CAP-ABEL
A great chunk of Palmeiras’ triumph comes down to Abel Ferreira’s coaching.
When Ferreira took over at the Verdao he led them to 15 wins in 26 matches across all competitions.
The Portuguese manager’s tactics proved to be a perfect fit for the Sao Paulo giants who then won their first Copa Libertadores title since 1999 – their second in total.
Funny to think that all the stars aligned when Ferreira’s previous club PAOK started to lose faith in him…

    GETTY IMAGES – GETTY

    LO-ST FOR WORDS
Palmeiras ace Breno Lopes was lost for words after scoring his team’s winner in the Copa Libertadores Final.
Lopes gave his club its second title thanks to his marvellous header in the ninth minute of stoppage time.
The winger’s goal has surely cemented himself as a Palmeiras hero.
Lopes said: “It is an unforgettable day in my life. The fan deserves it. I don’t even know how to explain this emotion.”

    GETTY IMAGES – GETTY

    TROPHY CELEBRATION
Palmeiras are officially two-time Copa Libertadores winners!
And it all became real when Breno Lopes’ header beat Santos goalkeeper John to give his team a 1-0 win in the final.
A great part of the team’s success goes down to Abel Ferreira, who turned the team around ever since taking over in October.
The history books will definitely remember this night…

    GETTY IMAGES – GETTY

    TIME TO CELEBRATE
The 2020 Copa Libertadores Final seemed destined to go to penalties following a dull encounter between Santos and Palmeiras.
But the Verdao dug deep and scored the winner in the ninth minute of stoppage time thanks to Breno Lopes’ header.
There is no doubt that Abel Ferreira’s men will be celebrating until the morning.
Here are some pictures that will give you a taste of what’s going on at the Maracana right now

    GOAL OF THE CENTURY
And, yes that’s how important that goal was for Palmeiras as it led to the team’s first Copa Libertadores of the 21st century!
Ronny delivered a stunning cross from the right wing and found Breno Lopes inside Santos’ box.
Lopes jumped higher than anyone and his header beat John, who could do nothing but watch the ball go to the back of his net.
What a finish to an otherwise dull encounter!

    LOST IN TRANSLATION
Palmeiras’s social media team went absolutely berserk judging from their reaction to Breno Lopes’ winner.
This is what came out of their official Twitter page when Lopes’ header went to the back of John’s net.
But we can’t really blame them as they got to see their favourite team win the Copa Libertadores for the second time.
    Therefore, what they said…

    FT: PALMEIRAS 1-0 SANTOS
Palmeiras won their second Copa Libertadores in dramatic fashion thanks to a late goal by Breno Lopes.
The Verdao endured a hapless encounter against runners-up Santos as both teams struggled to build momentum throughout the entire match mainly due to the high temperature at the Maracana Stadium.
After a poor first half, which lacked any significant goalscoring chance, Santos got back on the pitch with more grit than their Sao Paulo rivals.
The Peixe came close to an opener when Weverton saved a shot from Pituca with his chest and saw the ball narrowly missing his top left corner from Jonatan’s shot.
Kaio Jorge almost stole it in the closing moments with an impressive overhead kick, which went straight to the Palmeiras keeper’s arms.
But Palmeiras endured and picked up the win when Ronny’s cross from the left found Lopes’ head and thus the ball went to the back of John’s net in the ninth minute of stoppage time!

    GETTY IMAGES – GETTY

    PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
PALMEIRAS HAVE WON THE COPA LIBERTADORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    PALMEIRAS 1-0 SANTOS
90+13 Here is how Kaio Jorge tried to score with an overhead kick before Lopes’ winner

    PALMEIRAS 1-0 SANTOS
    90+12 YELLOW
Alisson gets booked for a rough challenge on luiz Adriano

    PALMEIRAS 1-0 SANTOS
    90+11 SUBSTITUTION
Felipe Melo and Empereur come in for Palmeiras as they replace Ronny and Ze Rafael

    PALMEIRAS 1-0 SANTOS
90+9 Breno Lopes appears to have won the Copa Libertadores for Palmeiras!
Ronny produces an incredible cross from the right wing and finds Lopes who beats Para in the air and sends the ball to the back of John’s net with a beautiful header!

    GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL
PALMEIRAS SCORE THE WINNER AT THE COPA LIBERTADORES!!!!!!!

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
    90+7 RED CARD!
Santos manager Cuca gets sent off for the altercation with Rocha.
That is quite harsh as the clash wasn’t really his fault and Rocha only got a yellow

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
    90+6 YELLOW
Rocha gets booked for his scuffle with Cuca in the closing minutes

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
90+5 Trouble ensues between Palmeiras and Santos players after Rocha collided with Peixe manager Cuca.
The coach tried to pick up the ball while the Palmeiras ace was running towards it.
Rocha thought Cuca was trying to slow him down and brought him down when he clashed with him.

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
    90+3 SUBSTITUTION
Santos make a double switch as Wellington takes Jonatan’s place.
Kaio Jorge can’t continue following his impressive overhead kick and is replaced by Madson

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
90 Referee adds eight minutes of extra time.
Plenty of time for a winner but still quite unlikely

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
    90 WHAT A CHANCE!
Santos almost scored a winner that would have lived in infamy if it had gone in.
Kaio Jorge, who has been very unaonymous tonight, set himself up for an overhead kick but the ball went straight onto Weverton’s arms.
Jorge’s effort led to two Palmeiras defenders clashing heads; they are both getting medical attention

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
88 Both teams seem resigned with the fact that there won’t be a winner until full-time.
A lot of tired legs and even more tired minds at the Maracana

    GETTY IMAGES – GETTY

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
    85 SUBSTITUTION
Palmeiras make their first switch as Lopes takes Menino’s place for the closing minutes of second half

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
83 Of course, Copa Libertadores rules dictate that in the event of a draw in the final then the game will go to extra time.
And then there will be penalties if nothing changes

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
80 We’re only 10 minutes away from full-time and there is absolutely no sign of a goal any time soon.
The managers appear to be aware of that and that is why they are holding back on substitutions.
Possession is pretty much even among Palmeiras and Santos.
Again, this has penalties written all over it…

    PALMEIRAS 0-0 SANTOS
    77 WHAT A CHANCE!
Santos come extremely close to an opener at the Copa Libertadores Final.
Pituca fires a powerful shot from the right flank and Weverton saves with his chest.
Jonatan follows up with a wonderful strike from the left but the ball just misses Palmeiras’ top left corner

    THAT’S ALL FOR TONIGHT
Well, it wasn’t the goalfest we were all hoping for…..
But hopefully they’ll be goals in the Copa Libertadores Final between Palmeiras and Santos!
The game just kicked off – Palmeiras 0-0 Santos
Plenty of Premier League action to come tomorrow, with Chelsea taking on Burnley and West Ham welcome Premier League champions Liverpool to the London Stadium!
    Have a good one!

    SOLSKJAER SPEAKS
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to Sky Sports after the game: “I felt we had the bigger chances to win the game. Decent performances, good defensively, two massive chances in the second half.
“We had a good performance. You come away with a share of possession, the bigger chances.
“There was a spell when we dropped off and were a little bit passive, but otherwise I’m pleased with the boys.
“Wednesday night was a disappointing one, but today was a good performance. We take this point and move on, it’s Southampton again.”

    LUIZ SPEAKS
David Luiz spoke to Sky Sports after the game: “It was a great game. Both teams tried to win. Both had opportunities. It was a proper match.
“It’s frustrating because we love to win, but we tried our best. We have to try to improve every single day. You have to be humble.
“The boss is doing a great job. The young boys have progressed a lot and are fantastic. The team has a great atmosphere.
“We are far from first. But the ambition has to be there, for the first position. When it is mathematically possible, you have to try.”

    SET-PIECE
Today is the first time three different Arsenal players (Luiz, Soares, Lacazette) have had a shot from a direct free-kick in a PL game since October 2012 vs QPR.

MAN UTD RATINGS: ATTACK & BENCH
    Marcus Rashford – 6
Lacked quality in the final third often getting into good positions but making the wrong decisions.
Squandered a good chance in the first half when reluctant to shoot. An off day in front of goal – looked tired before being subbed on 80 mins.
    Edinson Cavani – 5
Desperately quiet first 45 minutes but more for the lack of service in attack.
Had two glorious chances in the second which he somehow missed when it looked easier to score. He’ll be kicking himself tonight after feeling he could have been the match-winner.
    Subs
    Anthony Martial – 5
Was introduced on 35 minutes due to McTominay’s illness. Looks out of form and low on confidence.

    MAN UTD RATINGS: MIDFIELD
    Fred – 7
Came within whiskers of opening the scoring on 19 mins but was denied by a brilliant Leno save.
Did what he does best and broke up the play effectively.
    Paul Pogba – 7
Started brightly but was forced to drop deeper in the first half when McTominay came off ill.
Would have liked him to stamp more authority on the game especially in the last 30 minutes. Booked for a challenge on Willian.
    Scott McTominay – 5
Really struggled for 35 minutes until he came off for Anthony Martial with apparent illness.
Required tablets midway through first half and looked in real discomfort on the pitch.
    Bruno Fernandes – 5
The first real moment of quality on 33 mins, cutting inside past David Luiz and curling an effort just wide.
Was lucky to escape a caution with a bad tackle on Granit Xhaka.
Very quiet in the second half and looks a little off the boil at the moment.

    MAN UTD RATINGS: DEFENCE
Here’s how SunSport’s Richard Forrester rated United’s players.
    David de Gea – 7
Barely had anything to do for the opening 60 minutes albeit a couple of routine saves.
But made a really smart save down low to deny Smith Rowe later in the game.
    Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6
Showed great recovery to deny Willian with a superb block just after half-time.
Booked on 50 minutes following a wild lunge on Soares. Certainly has his limitations getting forward.
    Harry Maguire – 6
A decent performance that included a goal-saving block to deny Pepe in the second half.
Conceded a controversial free-kick which resulted in Lacazette crashing the crossbar.
    Victor Lindelof – 8
Managed to keep Lacazette quiet for long periods and calm in possession.
An assertive performance at the back will bolster his chances of keeping his place over Eric Bailly.
    Luke Shaw – 7
Was given a tough time up against Pepe which restricted his ability to get forward in the first half.
Much better in the second contributing in attack and could have easily had an assist.

    STAT ATTACK
    Nothing special!

    FT: ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
Well, it ends all square at the Emirates and both teams share the spoils.
Cavani had two of the best chances of the half, sending two efforts agonisingly wide of the post.
Willian had a good chance of his own for Arsenal, bringing down a cross before sending an effort crashing off Wan-Bissaka.
    Someone jinxed it!

    PEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
THE FULL-TIME WHISTLE GOES AT THE EMIRATES!
    STALEMATE!

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
90+4. Fernandes finds some room inside Arsenal’s penalty area and he picks out Cavani.
The Uruguayan holds the ball up before laying it back to Fred who sends a first-time shot wide.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
90+2. Lacazette is finally helped back to his feet, but he’s not in a good enough state to continue.
Nketiah is on in his place to see out the rest of the game.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    90. Lacazette lands awkwardly after bouncing off Maguire on the halfway line.
Both players are down receiving treatment.
The fourth official has added three minutes on at the end of the second half, but one suspects there will be more than that added on.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    88. WIDE!
Pogba spreads play wide to Wan-Bissaka on the right-hand side, the right-back takes one touch before whipping the ball in towards the near post.
Cavani meets the cross on the edge of the six yard box, but sends his effort WIDE of the post! Best chance of the half!

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    86. Cedric’s effort comfortably clears the crossbar. Poor effort.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    85. Willian wins Arsenal a free-kick in a dangerous position.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    84. Odegaard gets his first touch on the ball, he twists before playing the ball into Willian.
Cedric finds himself in some room on the left-hand side and he whips a cross into the penalty area, but the ball is headed clear.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    82. Odegaard is on for his Arsenal debut, replacing Smith Rowe in the hole behind Lacazette.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    80. JUST WIDE!
Partey picks out Bellerin in the midfield and the Spaniard spins and drives Arsenal forward.
The right-back then slips the ball wide to Pepe on the right-hand side, and the winger cuts inside onto his left foot and places his effort JUST wide of the far post!

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    80. Rashford is replaced by Greenwood for the final ten minutes. Will we see a goal? Let’s hope so!

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    78. Lacazette backs into Pogba – who had jumped to contest the ball in the air – causing the United midfielder to land awkwardly.
Pogba gets up rather quickly and play continues.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    76. United clear the corner but only as far as Bellerin who takes a touch and gets a shot off.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    76. Luiz’s free-kick hits the wall and goes behind for an Arsenal corner.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    76. Luiz drills a pass in towards Lacazette on the edge of the United penalty area.
Maguire comes in late conceding a free-kick. Three Arsenal players standing over the ball.

    ARSENAL 0-0 MAN UTD
    74. Smith Rowe and Willian combine down the left-hand side playing a slick one-two.
Willian then tries to slip the ball inside to Pepe, but United clear.

Kick-off is at 5.30pm GMT tonight.
What channel is it and can it be live streamed?
Man Utd’s visit down to Arsenal will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
You can catch all of the action on a mobile or tablet device, so long as you download the NOW TV or Sky Go apps.

    TABLE CHECK
Man United are second in the Premier League, four points behind rivals Man City.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are sat in ninth and are ten points off tonight’s opponents United.
A win tonight for the Gunners would see them move up to seventh, leapfrogging Everton.

    HOME FORM
Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three home games in all competitions, as many as they had in their previous 19 at the Emirates.
The Gunners last recorded four consecutive shutouts at home in April 2019, a run that included a home win over Manchester United.

    HEAD-TO-HEAD
Arsenal have won their last two Premier League matches against Manchester United, last winning three in a row in September 1998 under Arsène Wenger.
Manchester United are winless in all four Premier League games against Arsenal under Ole Gunnar Solskjær (D1 L3) – the Norwegian is the only Red Devils manager to face Arsenal more than once in the top-flight without winning a game.
Arsenal are looking to record a Premier League double over Manchester United for only the fourth time – the Gunners have won the league on two of the previous three occasions they’ve done so (1997/98 and 2001/02), also managing it in 2006/07, finishing 4th.
Manchester United haven’t lost three consecutive away top-flight games against Arsenal since May 1991 – the Red Devils last lost three away league games in a row against any single opponent versus Brighton between 1982 and 2018.

    GOOD AFTERNOON
And welcome to the live blog for Arsenal vs Manchester United!
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2-1 loss at the hands of Sheffield United.
If Solskjaer’s United managed to avoid defeat, they’ll make it 18 consecutive top-flight away games unbeaten stretching back more than a year.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are looking to maintain their good run of form having won four of their last five.
And the Gunners have kept three clean sheets in a row at the Emirates.
A win for Arsenal today would shorten the gap between the two sides to just seven points, and new signing Martin Odegaard could be in line to make his debut.
Boss Mikel Arteta will be without captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and left-back Kieran Tierney.
United have been handed a triple injury boost with Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof all hoping to return to first-team action after missing the 2-1 defeat at home to Sheffield.
The last time the two sides met, it was an Aubameyang penalty which separated the two sides and handed Arsenal a valuable three points.
The teamsheets are due to be released in half an hour, so don’t go anywhere!

That’s all from us tonight as Liverpool registered three points for the first time since December 19 to move back into the Premier League top four.
Next up for the Reds is a tricky trip to in form West Ham United, before a home game against struggling Brighton.
Spurs meanwhile are four points adrift of the top four, but do have a game in hand on four of the five teams above them.
Brighton away is next up for Jose Mourinho’s side, before a mouthwatering clash with rivals Chelsea a week today.
    That’s all for now though.
Thanks for joining us, it’s been a pleasure.

    MATCH REPORT
Plenty to talk about from tonight’s clash.
Spurs thought they’d taken the lead early on through Son Heung-Min, only for VAR to rule the goal out for offside.
Liverpool then took the lead on the stroke of half time as Roberto Firmino tapped home from close range to end Liverpool’s run of 482 minutes without a goal in the league.
Trent-Alexander Arnold’s effort doubled Liverpool’s lead, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s wonder-strike pulled Spurs back into the game.
Liverpool thought they had gone 3-1 ahead through Salah, only for VAR to bring play back for a handball by Roberto Firmino on the halfway line.
Liverpool did then score a third, as Sadio Mane capitalised on a Joe Rodon error to put Liverpool 3-1 ahead.
After that Spurs didn’t show too many signs of getting back into the game, and Liverpool saw out the game to pick up their second win in nine league games.

    WORRYING SIGNS

    JURGEN’S ANALYSIS
This is what Jurgen Klopp has to say at full time:
“It was a great game, super intense as I said before the game that it would be.
“We scored the goals in the right moments, scored wonderful goals, the right people scored the goals so all good apart from obviously Joel Matip had to go off.”

“What I saw today was who we are.””It was a massive fight, and the football obviously on top of that.””I saw a lot of things I wanted to see, yes.”🎙 A delighted Jurgen Klopp’s shares his post-match thoughts with @TheDesKelly… pic.twitter.com/EOMv0NzjjQ
    — Football on BT Sport (@btsportfootball) January 28, 2021

    ON HARRY KANE
“He’s injured in both ankles and he says that to cope with one one pain [he] probably he could but he says with both [it’s] very painful and very sore, and getting big [in] both ankles in both feet.
“He couldn’t [play], he just couldn’t [play].
“He’s a guy with a good sacrifice spirit, he can fight against pain but [it] was difficult for him.”

    JOSE’S THOUGHTS
This. iswhat Jose Mourinho has to say at full time:
“At half time we lost Harry.
“We lost that goal just before half time and in the first minute of the second half [we make] another mistake [and concede] another goal.
    “Good reaction, 2-1.
“The team again fighting on the pitch and bringing Liverpool back, [but then make] one more mistake and [it’s] 3-1.
“[Then it’s] very difficult to fight against so many mistakes, so of course some of the guys are very disappointed because some of them had a very very positive performance.
“I would say a very good performance by some of them but we were punished by individual mistakes.”

“Every time we reacted, the next mistake was coming.””Harry Kane is injured in both ankles. To cope with one, he probably could have.”A despondent Mourinho on Tottenham’s defeat to Liverpool…🎙 @TheDesKelly pic.twitter.com/3B9FRe78sT

    AS IT STANDS
This is what tonight’s result means for the Premier League table.
Liverpool are back into the top four after picking up just a second win in nine league games.
Tottenham are now four points behind fourth placed Liverpool with one game in hand.

    TRENT TALKS
These are the full time thoughts of Trent Alexander-Arnold:
    “It’s what we needed.
“It’s what we deserved as well, I think we dominated most of the game.
“Obviously they had the early goal disallowed, [it] probably would have changed the way the game went on but we’ve come here with a game plan, we’ve executed it perfectly.
“[It was a] little bit tough when they scored but at the end of the day I think we deserve the three points and yeah we go away with them.”

“Nothing’s really changed. We’re the same team as we always have been.”@TheDesKelly catches the thoughts of Man of the Match Trent Alexander-Arnold…A goal and assist for the Liverpool full-back this evening. What a display! 👏 pic.twitter.com/z3enKnL1kx
    — Football on BT Sport (@btsportfootball) January 28, 2021

    WONDERKID
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goal takes him to twenty-one goal involvements since the start of last season in the Premier League (5 goals and 16 assists).
That’s more than any other defender, and one more than his fullback partner Andy Robertson.

    FULL TIME WHISTLE
No exchanges between the managers at full time, unlike the last time the sides met at Anfield.

    SUPER SADIO
Sadio Mane’s goal tonight was his 70th Premier League goals for the Reds.
That takes him above Luis Suarez and into fifth on Liverpool’s all time Premier League scorers list.

    FULL TIME STATS
The are the full time stats from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Nothing between the teams in terms of possession, but Liverpool managed seven shots on target compared to just two for Spurs.
The Reds also had more than three times as many touches in the Spurs box than the home side had in theirs.

    TOTTENHAM 1-3 LIVERPOOL
A thoroughly entertaining game comes to an end.
The ball was in the back of the net six times in the ninety minutes, but both sides had a goal each ruled out by VAR.
Liverpool fans will hope the Reds have turned a corner after that performance, while Spurs fans will be disappointed with uncharacteristic defensive errors.
Reaction from both managers is coming up shortly.

    THAT’S FULL TIME!

    TOTTENHAM 1-3 LIVERPOOL
    94. Into the final minute of the five added minutes.

    84. Chance!
    Salah has to do better!
Jones plays the ball in to him behind Dier.
Salah then cuts inside onto his left foot from the right and can either shoot, play the ball to Mane or give it back to Jones.
He tries to back-heel it into. thepath of Jones but gives it straight to Eric Dier and Spurs survive.
