    THAT’s ALL FROM ME
Man Utd didn’t get the win they wanted in front of their returning fans, but at least they didn’t lose!
Second is all but guaranteed, and next season is all about catching their city rivals Man City at the top of the league.
And for Fulham, they’ll be looking to bounce next season and return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Elsewhere, we’re being treated to the sequel of the weekend’s FA Cup final.
A win for Leicester confirms their place inside the top four, and for Chelsea, revenge is very much on their mind!
And luckily for you, we’re covering it here at SunSport.
Chelsea vs Leicester City Live blog
    Goodnight!
    GUNNAR HAVE TO WAIT
THESE ARE THE special moments Ole Solskjaer promised Edinson Cavani when he convinced him to stay on at Old Trafford.
Scoring in front of an empty stadium is one thing, scoring in front of fans in The Stretford End is quite something else.
And when you score a goal that will go down in the pantheon of great strikes at Old Trafford it is something else still.
His incredible 15th minute chip on the run from 40 yards brought a roar from the 10,000 inside the stadium that sounded like five times that many.

Bryan popped up at the back post and scored the equaliser!

    OFFSIDE?
Some believe Cavani’s goal should have been chalked off for offside!

    FULL-TIME STATS
Fulham fought their way back into the game.

    FT: MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
Fulham came out after the half-time break and looked like they wanted in more than Man Utd.
And that’s strange, as you would have thought United would have wanted to put a show on for their returning fans.
But disaster struck in the 76th minute when Bryan met Reid’s inch-perfect cross at the back post to beat De Gea.
All it took was one good chance!
And for the final 15 minutes or so, Fulham looked more likely to score – but it wasn’t meant to be.
    PEEEEEEEEEEEP!
THE FULL-TIME WHISTLE GOES AT OLD TRAFFORD!
    IT ENDS A DRAW!
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    90+3. YELLOW CARD!
Areola is booked for time wasting.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    90+2. Not much action happening.
But Man Utd have a habit of scoring late, late goals. Man Utd have scored eight goals past the 90th minute mark.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    89. YELLOW CARD!
Shaw is booked for a foul on Tete.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    88. SUBSTITUTION!
Scott Parker makes a change, and he sends Tete on in place of Lookman.
Strange call considering his team are already relegated. No harm in going for the game. Unless it’s injury-related, of course.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    86. YELLOW CARD!
Wan-Bissaka breaks up play and looks to drive Man Utd forward in search of another goal.
But he’s pulled down by Lookman and the Englishman is booked as a result.
Man Utd take the chance to make a change whilst there is a break in play, and Cavani is replaced by Van De Beek.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    84. Fred is down after coming off worse in a challenge by Lemina. Man Utd might have to make another change.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    82. SUBSTITUTION!
Solskjaer is bringing on some fresh legs and Diallo will be the man to inject some pace up front.
    And he’ll be replacing Greenwood.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    81. We’re into the final ten minutes at Old Trafford and as it stands, both teams will be leaving with a point!
Man Utd will want to finish strong in front of their home crowd.
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    79. Manchester United have conceded 28 home goals in the Premier League this season – they last conceded more at Old Trafford in a single campaign back in 1962-63 (38).
The crowd are starting to get agitated, they want their side to go in search of a winner!
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    77. Fulham have a spring in their step now!
    MAN UTD 1-1 FULHAM
    75. Anguissa plays the ball down the line to Reid.
The winger drives down the right-hand side and delivers a wonderfully weighted cross towards the far post.
And Bryan plants the ball into the back of the net!
VAR takes a long, hard look for a potential offside – but they couldn’t find one!
One chance is all it takes!
    GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLL!!!
ONE CHANCE IS ALL IT TAKES!!!
    BRYAN EQUALISES!!!
    MAN UTD 1-0 FULHAM
    73. SAVE!
Cavani spots the run of Greenwood in behind Fulham’s backline.
The youngster controls the ball and drives into the penalty area, before getting a shot off on goal.
But Areola does well to make himself big and pull off a huge save!
    MAN UTD 1-0 FULHAM
    72. There’s no real place in the game at the moment. The ball is breaking down a lot in the middle of the pitch.
    MAN UTD 1-0 FULHAM
    70. Man Utd still have a firm grip on this game, but all it takes is one chance and Fulham could draw level.
    MAN UTD 1-0 FULHAM
    68. Fulham are starting to find their way back into the game possession-wise, but they remain a goal down.

    MAN UTD 1-0 FULHAM
    66. CHANCE!
Rashford works the ball wide to Fernandes on the left-hand side.
The Man Utd captain chops the ball back onto his stronger right foot and delivers a dangerous cross into the penalty area.
Ream misses the ball and it almost falls to Greenwood, but the youngster just misses out!
    MAN UTD 1-0 FULHAM
    66. Fernandes goes for goal but Areola saves.

    FINAL HOME GAME
Manchester United have lost their final home league game of the season in just one of the last 13 campaigns, doing so against Neil Warnock’s already relegated Cardiff City side in 2018-19.
    TOP TWO
Fulham are winless in their last 16 Premier League matches against sides starting the day in the top two of the table (D2 L14) since beating Manchester United 3-0 at Craven Cottage in December 2009.
Away from home, Fulham have won just one of their 21 such games (D4 L16), with this win also coming against Manchester United (3-1 in October 2003).

    HEAD-TO-HEAD
Manchester United have won 18 of their last 22 Premier League meetings with Fulham (D2 L2), and are unbeaten in their last 12 against them in the competition (W10 D2).
Fulham have picked up just four points from 42 available in Premier League away games against Manchester United (W1 D1 L12), winning 3-1 in October 2003 and drawing 2-2 in February 2014.
    GOOD AFTERNOON
And welcome to the live blog for Man Utd vs Fulham!
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils play relegated Fulham at Old Trafford tonight.
And fans are back in attendance for the first time in the 20/21 Premier League season.
10,000 fans are expected to be in attendance for the game.
Solskjaer has also asked the returning fans to get behind the team, despite the ongoing protests over the club’s ownership.
“It’s never nice to see a club that is not united,” said Solskjaer.
“We’re hoping Tuesday is going to be a positive day and that we move together.”The mood in any club and the relationship between the team and the fans is vital to what happens on the pitch.
“Hopefully, the players will give the fans a reason to cheer. That’s what we have to focus on. It’s a big game for us in that respect.”
In terms of team news, Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Phil Jones and Dan James miss tonight’s game through injury.
And Axel Tuanzebe is set to be handed another start due to the injuries in the defensive department.
Maguire is expected to be back for the Europa League final against Villarreal.
As for Fulham, Tom Cairney and Terence Kongolo miss out.
But Mario Lemina should be available for selection and could come straight back into the starting line-up.
18-year-old Fabio Carvalho should be handed another start after scoring in the 3-1 loss at the weekend against Southampton.

    REAL DEAL
Bayern Munich star and Manchester United transfer target David Alaba has agreed to join Real Madrid, according to reports.
The Austrian defender is out of contract at the end of the season and is believed to have agreed a move to the Spanish giants after much speculation.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the deal has been confirmed but will not be officially announced until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has confirmed he won’t be signing a new contract at Bayern, leaving the press to speculate about his next club.
Speaking in February, Alaba said: “I have decided to do something new. It wasn’t an easy decision.
“I have not yet made the decision where to go.”

    KAN DO ATTITUDE
Ryan Mason has dismissed suggestions that Harry Kane has asked to leave Tottenham in the summer window.
He said: “I don’t think anything [about the situation] is awkward. There’s always speculation around the best players, like there’s been speculation around who the next manager will be.”
When asked if Kane has asked to leave, Mason added: “No, not that I’m aware of. All of my conversations with H have been about the game. All these conversations, I am not so sure. I don’t know.
“I speak to Harry pretty much every day. He’s excited along with me about tomorrow. Our only discussions have been about the game tomorrow. We’re looking forward to tomorrow.”

    TED DEVILS
Teddy Sheringham has urged Manchester United to go all out to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
The 51-year-old told bookmakers.co.uk: “From a Manchester United point of view, if you can get him, then go get him.
    “You’re talking about Harry Kane.
“He is the top No9 in the world for me. People talk about [Erling] Haaland who is a very good youngster coming through with unbelievable promise, but Harry Kane is the best number nine in the world.
“From a Manchester United point of view, if you can get him, then go get him.
“Tottenham supporters won’t want to hear that, but they’ve heard it for the last three years – Harry Kane is a big money player, he’s the best and everybody wants him.”
    JU KNOW IT
Juventus deployed Cristiano Ronaldo to announce their 2021-22 home kit in a potentially huge hint that the winger is staying at the club.
On Tuesday, the Serie A side revealed the new Adidas designed strip for next season, which celebrates a decade at their Allianz Stadium home.

    KEANE FOR SUCCESS
Roy Keane has followed Manchester United legend Eric Keane in joining the Premier League Hall of Fame.

    GOING DUTCH
Former Manchester United star Memphis Depay is reportedly closing in on a move to Barcelona after going house-hunting in Catalonia.
The 27-year-old is poised to link up with the Blaugrana on a free transfer in the summer having refused to sign a new deal to remain in France.
This season he has chipped in with 22 goals and ten assists in 39 games in all competitions – helping his side qualify for the Champions League.
And according to Mundo Deportivo, he has set his eyes on a switch to Spain to link up with former Holland boss Ronald Koeman.
They state that he was looking for houses in Barcelona with his family two weeks ago when visiting the city.

    FOX HUNT
Brendan Rodgers accepts Leicester will not be able to hold on to their Wembley heroes if a superpower comes knocking.
N’Golo Kante, Danny Drinkwater, Riyad Mahrez, Harry Maguire and Ben Chilwell have all moved on for pastures new in recent years.
And the likes of Youri Tielemans and Harvey Barnes have both been linked with following captain Maguire to Old Trafford.
Leicester boss Rodgers admitted: “Every team loses players, none more so than us since winning the title.
“I’m not going to sit here naively and say winning the FA Cup will ensure all our players will stay.
“But we can create an incredible environment for players to work, develop and improve.
“And when you see those scenes at the weekend, you know you can become a winner here too.”
    KANE YOU STOP
Tottenham have released a strongly worded statement in response to Manchester United target Harry Kane’s request to leave.
The North Londoners urged everyone to ‘focus on finishing the season strongly’ in the wake of the England ace telling Spurs he wants to go.
In a statement published by the Standard, Tottenham said: “Our focus is on finishing the season as strongly as possible.
“That’s what everyone should be focused on.”
    MORE FROM CANTONA
King Eric has joked he isn’t surprised about being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame as he thanked those that voted for him.
He told the Premier League: “I feel very happy and very proud – and at the same time, I’m not surprised!
“I would have been surprised not to be elected. You know, I’m not surprised.”
Before adding: “It is very important to have an honour like this. I play football, I love football, I dreamt about football when I was a kid.
“Of course, to play in England was a dream.
“It’s a dream of everybody, and playing in the Premier League, so I have to say thanks to all the people who voted for me – the older generation and your generation, everybody.
“Which is very important because as I tell you it was a long time ago, and sometimes people forget!”
    KING ERIC
Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has become the third inductee into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
The 54-year-old follows inaugural inductees Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer after a glittering career in England.
Cantona linked up with the Red Devils from Leeds in November 1992 after helping the Whites win the First Division title.
And his impact at Old Trafford was immediate as he was instrumental in United winning their first-top flight championship since 1967.
In total, the French icon won four Premier League titles in five years before retiring in 1997 at the age of 30.
Cantona – who chipped in with 70 goals and 56 assists 156 outings for both United and Leeds – is the first of six inductees voted by fans from a 23-man shortlist.

    KANE DO
Tottenham have reportedly drawn up a list of potential striker targets if Harry Kane leaves the club this summer.
The Mail claim that Spurs recruitment staff have identified which players they might be able to take in part-exchange from both Manchester clubs.
The report adds that Spurs are eyeing City frontman Gabriel Jesus as well as United ace Anthony Martial.

    SOLSKJAER ON MAGUIRE’S ABSENCE
He told Sky Sports: “Harry has been very important for us. He has been an ever present pretty much so he is a big miss. But that is football.
“We have just got to make the most of it. Every team have had players out for different reasons. It is a chance to get better again.”
“It is a different dynamic, of course. Harry is the captain. He is the leader of the group. He has been the one taking charge off the pitch as well.
“Now his time is focused more on recovering and trying to get back for the final. But Victor (Lindelof) is vocal. Eric (Bailly) has come in and is finding his feet. Of course, the more he plays, the better he will be as well.
“We have not had great results in the last couple but these players have been training together all year.
“We want to step it up and get momentum going. Get the confidence back, get a feeling going into the last game of the season with a team that is gelled together.”
    SOLSKJAER ON FANS RETURNING
He told Sky Sports: “I think we have been the team that have missed our fans the most. Books will be written about this pandemic and they will show all the stats. It will be interesting to read it.
“But we already have a sense of how much fans have been missed by how the results have been skewed. It is unheard of to have more wins away than at home.
“When you have 76,000 at Old Trafford, it is an absolutely magical place and when you play well that adrenaline, enthusiasm and excitement, that extra bit that they give you, they suck the ball in at the Stretford End. So many times we have had help from the fans.
“Of course, 10,000 is not 76,000 but it is still a large number cheering us on and it will help a lot.”
    YOU KANE DO IT
Manchester United are one of many clubs tipped to bid for Harry Kane after the striker asked Tottenham for a summer move.
Here’s how the Red Devils could line-up with the England captain…

    GREEN AROUND THE EDGES
Manchester United stars paid tribute to Arnau Puigmal after he confirmed his intention to leave Old Trafford this summer.
United first-team ace Mason Greenwood wrote: “Good luck bro.”
While Dylan Levitt enthused: “What a guy , what a player, gonna miss you bro.”
Dishon Bernard added: “Papi – gonna miss you brother.”
Former United starlet Angel Gomes said: “Good luck my bro.”
Manchester City star Eric Garcia, who also appears primed for a return to Spain, commented: “Let’s go bro.”

    DEVIL MAY CARE
Manchester United starlet Arnau Puigmal has confirmed his intention to leave Old Trafford this summer.
In a prepared graphic posted on social media, the 20-year-old wrote: “Four years ago I decided to leave everything behind and sign for Manchester United.
“I took that plane to follow my dream of becoming a professional football player. And I would definitely go through it all over again.
“I’ve experienced many things that will be part of me forever.
“I’ve been lucky to share the changing room with one of the best teams, personally and professionally, I’ve ever played with.
“I will take great friends with me forever.
“Now I feel it’s time to put an end to this amazing phase of my life. But first, I just wanted to thank every person in this club that has helped me from day one.
“I feel blessed that our path crossed, and you will always be in my heart.
“Once a red, always a red.”
    PUIG-ING OUT
United starlet Arnau Puigmal has confirmed his intention to leave Old Trafford this summer.
The Spaniard arrived at Carrington four years ago as a promising 16-year-old.
But in light of limited first-team opportunities, Puigmal has decided to try something new.
    Puigmal wrote on Instagram:

    RED RESHUFFLE
United host Fulham at Old Trafford tonight and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is without four big names.
Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Phil Jones and Dan James are all out with the Norwegian set to hand Axel Tuanzebe a start at centre-back.
Maguire is on crutches and wearing a protective boot after damaging ankle ligaments just over a week ago against Aston Villa.
It left manager Solskjaer fearing the worst ahead of the final against Villarreal in Gdansk a week on Wednesday.
But the latest update has been more positive and Solskjaer says he will give his captain right up until the last minute to prove his fitness.

    ‘ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY’
Dimitar Berbatov thinks Harry Kane is in a similar position he was in when he joined Manchester United in 2008.
The Bulgarian is delighted that he made the move and his words might hit home for the England captain.
He told The Telegraph: “When you hear that one of the biggest clubs wants you after you’ve tasted the success of winning a trophy, let me tell you something, things change dramatically.
“Because you think, ‘this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to win more, so I’m not going to miss it’.
“I knew I would disappoint some people, some people would be angry but, in the end, this is my own path, my own success story, so I needed to write it in my own way.
“That’s why I took that decision and, probably, we will see it happen again soon because Harry Kane is in my position now where I was before.
“It’s difficult, it’s stressful, a lot of questions in your head, but in the end I needed to write my own story in football.”
    INK-REDIBLE
Antonio Valencia unveiled a new Red Devils tattoo depicting his UEFA Cup trophy lift in 2017.
    And it’s not too shabby!

    SANCHO ALTERNATIVE
Manchester United are eyeing up a potential transfer deal for Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby this summer.
The talented 21-year-old has shone once again in the Bundesliga this season, and CaughtOffside understands his performances have attracted interest from the Premier League.
Diaby looks like he could soon be ready to make the step up to a bigger club, though CaughtOffside understands Leverkusen won’t let him go on the cheap, with a fee of at least £45million required to convince them to sell.
    MEND TO BE
Manchester United have entered the race for Sporting Lisbon prodigy Nuno Mendes.
The left-back has made a rapid rise to prominence this season, making 44 appearances in all competitions for Sporting.
Mendes has a release clause of about £61m in his contract but United have made contact with the Portuguese champions about a potential £52million deal for the 18-year-old full-back.
Manchester City had been linked with a move for Mendes but SunSport understands there is no interest from them.

    READY TO NAB AB
West Ham have joined Manchester United and Arsenal in pursuing Slavia Prague’s teenage strike sensation Abdallah Sima.
Slavia confirmed the Hammers are in the hunt but insist they will stick to their asking price, which in January was reportedly £50million.
Senegal ace Sima, 19, has been likened to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry with his pace and ability to play through the middle or out wide.
And Slavia boss Jindrich Trpisovsky said: “There is interest in Abdallah Sima. There’s a set price at which he could leave.
“We focus on managing the rest of the season with us.
“We talked about it with the boys from West Ham, where they have him very high on the list of possible reinforcements.”

    GUNNER SPEND
Arsenal are set to dive into the transfer market to replace David Luiz, but Mikel Arteta could be convinced to give Nice loanee William Saliba a shot.
Arteta revealed: “You will see in the summer the possible replacements.
“William is our player for sure and that is a decision we are going to be taking in the summer.
“When we finish the season we will sit down and discuss the roles of every member of the squad and how they can fulfil that role.
“He is our player so he will be back here for sure and after that we will make the decision based on the agreement of the role he is going to play in the squad.”
    WILL I NEVER
Mikel Arteta could spring a surprise against Crystal Palace and instead opt for Willian outwide with Alexandre Lacazette up-top.

    RULE OF SIX
Arsenal take on Crystal Palace tomorrow night with European qualification still an outside possibility.
    Here’s how they could line-up…

    CAN’T BELIEVE LU
Mikel Arteta explained Arsenal had been in talks with Dvaid Luiz over extending his contract but admitted it was best for the defender to leave the Emirates.
The Spaniard claimed: “We have had very clear talks in the last few months.
“He’s given his best. I tried to help him as much as I possibly could. The club as well.
“And after some conversations we decided that it was the best way to do it now.
“It’s after a few conversations that we had, David and I.
“We discussed this situation in different occasions and the other day we made the final decision on that.”
    MORE FROM ARTETA
The Spaniard continued by admitting he’s ‘sad’ to see Luiz go, adding: “I’ve really enjoyed and learnt from him.
“He’s been very helpful every time with the team and I feel sadness as well because you get attached to the players emotionally.
“When it gets to this stage it’s tough and it hurts because that relationship now is going to be going away, at least in this space and not seeing him every day.
“Again, I have to say thank you to him.”

    ARTETA ON LUIZ’S EXIT
He said: said: “He’s a player who has won everything in football and has earned every right to do so through who he is as a player and as a person.
“I had the privilege to work with him for 18 months. I really enjoyed it.
“I think we got on really good. I think we had some great moments together.
“He’s been really helpful, someone who we really like and appreciate so much.
“So I say thank you to him and wish him the best of luck in his next chapter.
“I’m sure knowing David that he will have many more to come as a player and in the future somehow related to the game.”
    SEE LU, LATER
Arsenal have confirmed David Luiz will leave the club on a free agent at the end of the season after just two years at the club.

    RUD AWAKENING
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has revealed that Gunners stars hate playing against Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
The German, 29, recently opined that his club team-mates need to find a ‘nasty’ streak.
And quizzed by Sport1 as to which of his Germany pals have that trait, Chelsea star Rudiger’s name came up.
Leno said: “Antonio Rudiger is also a good example.
“Everyone at Arsenal has said that it is extremely bitter and difficult to play against him.
“Such players are good for a team and hurt the opponent.”

    WAL TO WALL
Former Arsenal star Theo Walcott has agreed a two-year deal to join Southampton this summer following the end of his Everton deal.
The Gunners originally signed the England international from the Saints as a teenager.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the club, my teammates and the fans for making me feel so welcome back here, and I can’t wait to continue pulling on the shirt in the next couple of seasons.— Theo Walcott (@theowalcott) May 18, 2021

    KING ERIC
Eric Cantona has become the third inductee into the Premier League Hall of Fame after Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The 54-year-old follows inaugural inductees Gunners icon Henry and Alan Shearer after a glittering career in England.
Cantona linked up with Manchester United from Leeds in November 1992 after helping the Whites win the First Division title.
And his impact at Old Trafford was immediate as he was instrumental in United winning their first-top flight championship since 1967.
In total, the French icon won four Premier League titles in five years before retiring in 1997 at the age of 30.
    OFF TO MARS
Marseille are reportedly on the verge of a deal for Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
Mikel Arteta sent the Frenchman out on loan to Hertha Berlin after a falling out at Emirates Stadium.
But he is not set to return to North London and SunSport revealed earlier this year that he is among the players Arsenal want to cash in on.
According to Le10Sport, the Gunners are in advanced talks with Marseille over the sale of Guendouzi.
The 22-year-old is out of contract in 2022 yet should still bring in a reasonable transfer fee having cost Arsenal £7million in 2018.

    ENTER SAND-MAN
Arsenal have made a £17.2million bid for Sheffield United star Sander Berge, according to reports.
The Norwegian ace, 23, has shone in the heart of the Blades midfield this season despite their woeful form seeing them relegated.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all keen on bringing Berge back to the Premier League immediately.
And the Gunners have made the first move, seeing a £17.2m bid rejected by Sheff Utd, according to reports.
Berge is believed to be keen on a move to the Emirates – particularly if fellow Norway star and Real Madrid loanee Martin Odegaard stays, according to football.london.

    LENO ON BUNDESLIGA RETURN
He added: “Not yet, because I really like it in the Premier League and at Arsenal.
“Personally, I also think it’s great in London. My wife feels good, everything fits. But at some point in the Bundesliga again: why not?”
    KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON
Bernd Leno claimed that he’s happy at Arsenal and is keen to help the club get back into the Champions League.
He told German outlet Sport 1: “I don’t want to flee here. I feel good and want to be successful again with Arsenal!
“Arsenal are a big club, which is extremely underestimated in Germany, there are many Arsenal fans all over the world.
“I still have a two-year contract and hope to play in the Champions League again with Arsenal. It is also clear that at some point in my career I want to do something different.
“So far I’ve played for two clubs. Maybe I’ll get the urge to play in another league again. Maybe in the south [of Europe]. But there is time, I’m still getting to the top goalkeeping age. But my focus is on Arsenal FC.”
    MORE FROM KEOWN
The iconic Gunners centre-back urged Mikel Arteta to take decisive action in the transfer market, particularly at the back.
He told talkSPORT: “Well, it’s a time for change in terms of the players, personnel.
“One to 11, if you go right through the team, Leno’s not signing a new deal by all accounts, Bellerin at right-back is not holding that position down, the two central defenders, you’d say there is uncertainty over who is going to play there.
“[Kieran] Tierney the left-back is probably the only one who is a shoo-in as a defender.
“You run right through the team and it’s the young kids really that are the backbone of the team. [Bukayo] Saka, [Emile] Smith Rowe have been outstanding this season.

    MART MY WORDS
Arsenal legend Martin Keown thinks the club needs to make FIVE signings in the summer.
He told talkSPORT: “I think a minimum of maybe five changes. I think the front players are still good – I’d keep [Alexandre] Lacazette, I like him actually in the club.
“[Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang’s had his problems this season, [Gabriel] Martinelli needs to be used more, maybe on the wing perhaps.
“Then you’ve got Saka to play, Smith Rowe, make sure they build those careers.
“But they need a base in midfield, [Thomas] Partey needs a partner alongside him, they need to spend there.
“Gabriel [Magalhaes] has been disappointing as a central defender, Luiz is about to leave. So there is huge surgery to be made by the manager.”
    MORNING ARSENAL FANS
We have everything on Eduardo Camavinga’s agent giving the Gunners a transfer boost, Matteo Guendouzi’s potential departure to Marseille and of course Aaron Ramsey’s desire to return.
Stay with us all day for all things North London.
    GUEN TO LEAVE
Marseille are closing in Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi and confidence is growing that the 22-year-old will make the move back to France.
Guendouzi has fallen out of favour with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and is nearing the end of a season-long loan spell at Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.
The Germans are unlikely to try to keep him and Marseille are making moves to ensure they win the race for his services.
According to French magazine Le 10 Sport, Marseille are closing in on Guendouzi and confidence is high that he will be snapped up.
Marseille are fans of the midfielder and want to give him the opportunity to get his career back on track in France.
Arsenal and Manchester United are both eyeing up a potential transfer deal for Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby this summer.
Arsenal are looking at Diaby and other players as they weigh up entering the market for an attacking player due to Willian’s likely departure at the end of this season.

    GREAT DANE
Arsenal target Joachim Anderson could be available for £21.5million amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
According to Transfermarketweb, Joachim Andersen could be on the verge of permanent away from Olympique Lyon this summer.
The Ligue 1 giants are ready to cash in on their prized defender, despite a largely successful loan spell at Fulham this season.
    ‘TIME FOR CHANGE’
Arsenal legend Martin Keown has urged Gunners boss Mikel Arteta to make “a minimum of five changes” this summer.
He told talkSPORT: “Well, it’s a time for change in terms of the players, personnel.
“One to 11, if you go right through the team, [Bernd] Leno’s not signing a new deal by all accounts.
“[Hector] Bellerin at right-back is not holding that position down, the two central defenders, you’d say there is uncertainty over who is going to play there.
“I think a minimum of maybe five changes.
“But they need a base in midfield, [Thomas] Partey needs a partner alongside him, they need to spend there.
“Gabriel [Magalhaes] has been disappointing as a central defender, David Luiz is about to leave. So there is huge surgery to be made by the manager.”
    LENO GOING NOWHERE
Bernd Leno has spoken about his Arsenal future and rubbished talk of an exit happening any time soon.
He told Le Sport 1: “I don’t want to flee here, I feel good and want to be successful again with Arsenal!
Maybe in the south. But there is time, I’m still getting to the top goalkeeping age. But my focus is on Arsenal FC.”
    NOT GUNNER COME
Paris Saint-Germain star Julian Draxler is set to sign a three-year contract extension at the club, according to reports.
The attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to Premier League sides Arsenal and Leeds but now seems set to stay in France.
According to French website Paris United, Draxler has put pen to paper on a new deal and this will be announced within the next few days.
The 27-year-old’s existing contract expires at the end of the season.
Draxler’s future has been a talking point due to his current situation, with the bookies offering good odds on a move to the Emirates.

    MORE ON CAMAVINGA
Eduardo Camavinga is believed to be open to the idea of playing in the Premier League with a club that matches his style and guarantees him regular minutes of play.
However, European participation will influence the player’s decision-making, but it is not said to be a deal-breaker.
The 18-year-old will meet with his family and his agent at the end of the season to make a decision.

Swansea have the advantage from the first leg but Barnsley aren’t out of this yet.
Andre Ayew will take the headlines for his superb match-winning strike, but the Swans were indebted to several fine saves by Freddy Woodman.
See you at the Liberty for the second leg on Saturday!
    SWANS REACTION
Swansea boss Steve Cooper said: “It was a good effort from the boys. We knew the game would be a certain type. We managed to show some bits of quality, the goal being the obvious one. I can’t wait to get back to our place on Saturday.
“It was fine margins really, but I was really pleased with the resilience of the lads and the effort they had.
“We’ve been here before and the final whistle in the next game is the most important one.
“Andre’s a brilliant lad and a really good player. He came up with a bit of magic but it’s only half-time.”
    MARVELLOUS MARC
After his side’s victory, Swansea defender Marc Guehi told Sky Sports: “It’s a massive performance. We knew how tough it was going to be. I love defending but it starts from the front.
“I was a fantastic finish from Andre Ayew. He’s done that all season for us.”

    FREDDY FOILS TYKES
Here’s that save from Freddy Woodman that kept his side in front. He’s now kept 22 clean sheets this season. Some going.

    FT: Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
It’s advantage Swansea ahead of the return leg at the Liberty on Saturday. They have Andre Ayew to thank for a brilliant first-half strike, but Freddy Woodman was also outstanding in a frantic second period to keep Barnsley at bay. It’s still all to play for, as the saying goes, but Swansea have the edge.

    PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!THE FINAL WHISTLE GOES!
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
90+2. How has that stayed out? Morris’ flick from a corner comes back off the crossbar.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    90. There will be three added minutes. Can Barnsley snatch a draw?
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    88. Victor Adeboyejo comes on for Dike. It’s been a disappointing night for the American who was playing in front of the Barnsley fans for the first time.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
Ayew tries a repeat of his opener but this time Andersen makes the block. Grimes then has a go from range but Collins – eventually – claims the ball.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    78. Second change for Barnsley as Jordan Williams replaces Romal Palmer. Swansea look happy to see this one out.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    74. Woodrow is adamant he was fouled by Naughton just outside the box. Replays show the Swansea man got the ball.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    70. Mowatt almost gets in behind the Swansea defence but Woodman races off his line to clear the danger. At the other end, Lowe engineers a half-chance for himself but shoots high and wide.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    69. Substitution for Swansea. Wayne Routledge, now 36, replaces Liam Cullen as the Swans add a bit of experience to their XI.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    67. Hourihane’s free-kick from the left almost catches out Collins but the keeper manages to claw the ball away from under the crossbar. Pretty sure Hourihane didn’t mean that.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    64. Barnsley break from a Swansea corner. It’s three-v-two but Dike overcooks his cross and the danger passes. That was a real opportunity to do some damage.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    60. Mowatt and Fulton engage in a touch of pushing and shoving as Barnsley look to take a free-kick. The referee steps in to cool things down. Things have calmed down on the football front too after that crazy start to the second half.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    54. Guehi hauls back Dike on the halfway line but escapes a booking. Valerien Ismael is fuming.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    53. Woodrow’s free-kick bounces just in front of Woodman but he manages to hold onto the ball at the second attempt.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    52. Yellow card. Ayew goes into the book for fouling Morris just outside the box. Free-kick in a good position for the Tykes. This second half has started at a million miles an hour.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    50. This is better from Barnsley. Mowatt’s 25-yard strike is deflected wide by Bidwell. The resulting corner is met by Dike but he heads wide. Should have done better.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    48. What a save by Woodman. He fumbles Morris’ shot before leaping to his feet to deny Brittain from close range. Brilliant stop.
    Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
    47. As expected, Barnsley start the second half on the front foot. Brittain scampers to reach a pass but his cross from the byline goes into the side-netting.
    PEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!OFF WE GO AGAIN!
    46. There’s a change by Barnsley for the start of the second half. Carlton Morris is on for Dominik Frieser. Morris has scored five goals off the bench this season. He’d love to make that six but Barnsley will need to ask more questions of Steve Cooper’s side.
    PEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!
    HT: Barnsley 0-1 Swansea
Andre Ayew’s wonderful strike for the visitors has lit up a somewhat scrappy affair. Barnsley need to improve after the break. Woodman hasn’t really been tested in the Swansea goal.

ANTHONY JOSHUA and Tyson Fury are in training for their HUGE heavyweight world title fight THIS summer.Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn and Fury himself have said the bout will be taking place on Saturday, August 14 in Saudi Arabia and Fury’s promoter Bob Arum has said the fight will take place at 9pm for British fans to watch.
But the fight has been thrown into doubt after reports emerged that Deontay Wilder’s right to a third fight with Fury was exercised by a U.S. judge.
We’ll be bringing you ALL of the latest developments on the bout plus all of the news from the world of boxing right here…
    FRANK’S THRILLED
Frank Bruno is looking forward to August 14, if the Fury v Joshua fight goes ahead that is.
“I’m glad we are slowly coming out of lockdown can’t wait to get “out there” for my appearances & meet people.
“Glad at last 14 August 4 the Tyson Fury & Anthony Joshua has finally been rubber-stamped. Have a good evening.”
Evening so did U have lots of hugs today? I’m glad we R slowly coming out of lockdown cant wait 2 get “out there” 4 my appearances & meet people. WILDER WARNING
Here the message Deontay Wilder sent to Tyson Fury in November 2020.
Hey @Tyson_Fury ,Don’t worry about me I am Fine, Blessed. The only thing I want from you is for you to honor your agreement and fight me. I gave you 2 shots when I didn’t have to and it changed your life. Now it is time for you to be a man and give me my shot as you agreed to.— Deontay Wilder (@BronzeBomber) November 12, 2020

    FIGHT IN DOUBT
The arbitration court has ruled that Tyson Fury has to fight Deontay Wilder in a third fight this summer, so the bout against Anthony Joshua could be off.
The WBC heavyweight champion has been in arbitration with the American for months over a contracted third fight between the pair.
Fury, 32, beat Wilder back in February 2020 to take the WBC title after their first meeting ended in a controversial draw.
But in the contract there was due to be a third clash between the pair.
That was pencilled in for July 2020 but it was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It was pushed back until December 2020 but both sides could not agree on a date.
Wilder’s team wanted to push it back further into early 2021 but Fury did not want to wait any longer.

    NOT SO FURIOUS
TYSON Fury’s wife Paris has been pictured wearing her wedding ring again just days after removing it following images of the boxer soaking up female attention in America.
The champ admitted he was in his wife’s bad books as she remained at home pregnant and looking after four of their children – but it seems she’s had a change of heart.
The 31-year-old was seen wearing the huge sparkler as she ran errands yesterday at the couple’s home in Morecambe.
She later revealed she was spending the night in a hotel, as she shared a picture of herself getting room service.
Tyson meanwhile addressed the situation on Instagram yesterday as he continues to train across the pond ahead of his big fight with Anthony Joshua.
He wrote: “Looks like the GK is in Mrs Paris Fury’s bad books! Wedding ring off.”
    THE PREDATOR
Derek Chisora’s trainer Don Charles has shared his initial verdict on Fury vs Joshua, and he issued a warning to The Gypsy King.
He told iFL TV: “For that fight it’s a question of who is able to implement their game plan on the night.
“There’s very little to split them. If anyone has the style to dent The Gypsy King it is Joshua.
“Anthony is a very well-skilled amateur, hence why he’s an Olympic gold medaslist and let’s face it, Fury does get knocked down here and there.”
“If Joshua nails Fury, he will stay hit. He’s got that power.
“The first Predeator [film], that is Fury, because the predator is able to camouflage himself. He [Fury] has that ability.
“Whatever game plan you bring he can rip it up in front of you.”
    CARD TRICK
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury is set to have world title fights and cross-promotional bouts as part of their £3.5million undercard budget.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed to DAZN the chief supporting act will include multiple world title fights.
And there is also the opportunity for rare clashes between the opposing promoters’ stables.
That means Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing could go against Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions and Bob Arum’s Top Rank.

    HEARN WANTS TO BE HEARD
Eddie Hearn has given a fiery response to the Fury-Joshua fight being announced.
Via Dazn, he said: “I told everybody this fight would be done.
“No-one believed me, ‘Oh, it won’t happen, it’s a bad time, they won’t come up with the money.’
“I’m not looking for props, but give me some f***ing props!”

    ‘I NEVER LOST’
The Gypsy King is getting into the Saudi Arabia spirit already, and he sent a warning to Anthony Joshua.
The caption on his Instagram story reads: “Time to take back what I never lost. Every belt there [is] all mine chump!”

    QUIET ON THE AJ FRONT
Let’s take a look at what Anthony Joshua has been up to instead of announcing the fight…
Oh, posting a paid sponsorship with JD on his Instagram account.

    ‘GOOD CHANCE’
DAVID HAYE reckons Anthony Joshua will KNOCK OUT Tyson Fury in their eagerly-anticipated undisputed heavyweight title fight.
The pair are finally set to share the ring in Saudi Arabia on August 14, although an official announcement has yet to be made.
He told PA: “What Fury did against Deontay Wilder in his last fight sounded like suicide on paper, but it was genius.
“Tactically I believed he had got it totally wrong, but it was proven right.
But if you look at some of his prior fights, I wouldn’t say his tactics were that good.
“Joshua got his tactics terribly wrong in his first fight against Andy Ruiz, trying to mix it against a guy with short arms whose only chance was to get inside.
“But his tactics are improving and I very much liked what he did against Kubrat Pulev in his last fight.”
    ANTICIPATION BUILDING
Paddy McGuinness already cannot wait for August 14th, it just happens to be his birthday then too.

    LESS TALK MORE ACTION
Anthony Joshua has continued to remain silent despite Tyson Fury’s public announcement on Sunday that the two will fight this summer.

    HAYE MAKER
David Haye has backed Anthony Joshua to surprise Tyson Fury with an early knockout in their unification fight this summer.
He told the Belfast Telegraph: “I like the dedication of Joshua and I think he has a good chance of winning it early.
“People think I’m crazy but that’s just the way I see it. I loved his fight against Wladimir Klitschko – he took his licks and got back up and showed the heart of a champion.”
“Tyson isn’t so much of a one-punch specialist. He puts his punches together and his style is that if you throw big looping shots at him he’ll make you look silly. But AJ throws hard, compact punches and he puts them together well. I don’t see this fight going smoothly for Fury at all.”
He concluded: “I think it’s a great fight and I really see it being won by stoppage. I’m just so glad we’re so close to seeing it happen.”
    TALE OF THE TAPE
Anthony Joshua will go to war with Tyson Fury! Here’s how the two fighters compare…

    BOOKIE’S EYE
Tyson Fury is the bookies’ early ODDS-ON favourite to beat Anthony Joshua ahead of their confirmed bout on August 14th.
Fury is odds-on at 4/7 with Paddy Power while Joshua is a slightly bigger price at 11/8 to win the fight.
Fury’s most-likely method of victory is on points or decision (15/8) rather than via knockout (9/4).
But Joshua’s shortest price in terms of way of victory is via KO/TKO at 5/2, making this an intriguing showdown.
Paddy Power are offering an early odds boosts on either Fury to win via KO/TKO at 3/1 or Joshua to win via KO/TKO at 11/4 HERE*.
As the two fighters are evenly matched, punters could back a controversial draw at 22/1.
    ED IN THE CLOUDS
Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has insisted he had nothing to do with bringing Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul to Sky Sports PPV.
He told iFL TV: “You can’t blame me for that one, dreadful.
“Listen, people are gonna watch it, aren’t they?
“I did Logan Paul vs KSI, but it was a fight between two YouTubers who couldn’t really fight – now you’ve got a bloke who can’t fight against one of the greatest fighters of all time.
“I can’t go back on what I’ve already said about the fight because it’s now on PPV.
“I wasn’t involved with it, it’s got nothing to do with me, enjoy the show.”
    TY-SUN FURY
Tyson Fury is still enjoying his warm-weather break to Miami with brother Tommy.
The Fury brothers have been lapping up the Florida sun for the best part of a week having flown there from Texas after supporting Billy Joe Saunders in his ill-fated clash with Canelo Alvarez.
And the pair, 32 and 22 respectively, appear to still be enjoying their getaway, despite all the photo requests.

    MORE FROM TONY BELLEW
He added: “He will finish Tyson Fury. Deontay Wilder dropped him twice. Anthony Joshua only has to drop them once and the fights done.
“He is the most vicious finisher that I’ve seen since Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson.
“That’s how good a finisher he is. When he gets his man hurt, you do not survive.”
    BELLEW OF THE BALL
Tony Bellew expects Anthony Joshua to drop Tyson Fury during their super-fight this summer.
He told the ‘Don’t Tell Me The Score with Simon Mundie’ podcast: “I think he (Joshua) catches Tyson.
“People are reading far too much into what happened against Deontay Wilder. Anthony Joshua is not Deontay Wilder.
“Anthony Joshua is a very accomplished excellent technical boxer fighter. Anthony Joshua is a former Olympic gold medalist.
“Deontay Wilder was skimming the lights when he was trying to knock out Tyson Fury in round twelve of the first fight.
“He was jumping off two feet in the air, swinging punches – a lunatic. Anthony Joshua is not going to take that approach.
“Don’t get me wrong. He’s only got six rounds to do it, in my opinion.
“Because after six rounds, if you can’t figure out Tyson Fury in six rounds, you are not going to do it in twelve.
“I’m not saying it’s going to be easy, but I do believe he’ll catch him.
“And if he does catch up and hit him, he’s the most destructive finisher in the heavyweight division.”
    CASHING IN
Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are set to split an eye-watering £110million site fee after their Saudi Arabia mega-fight, according to reports.
The heavyweight champions go head to head on August 14 and the fighters are set for an epic pay day with the Middle Eastern country coughing up some serious dough in order to stage the fight.
Each man will receive £53million from the site fee while an additional £2m each will be for ‘expenses and the undercard’, according to TalkSPORT.

    GOOD MORNING BOXING FANS
Tyson Fury has now declared that his fight with Anthony Joshua is “100 per cent on”.
He said: “I’ve got some massive news for you all guys.
“I’ve just got off the phone from Prince Khalid of Saudi Arabia, he’s told me this fight’s 100 per cent on.
“August 14, 2021 – summertime. All eyes of the world will be on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“I cannot wait, repeat, cannot wait to smash Anthony Joshua on the biggest stage of all times.
“This is gonna be the biggest sporting event ever to grace the planet Earth.“Do not miss it, all eyes on us.”
Saudi Arabia hosted 31-year-old Joshua’s title rematch victory over Andy Ruiz Jr in December 2019 amid criticism from human rights’ campaigners.
A temporary venue was constructed in Diriyah for the fight and Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn has promised a new stadium that will ‘shock the world’ for August’s unification event.
He told Sky Sports: “They want to build a new stadium.
“They have indoors options. In August at 11pm it will be about 23 degrees.
“They want to create something very, very special.
“Last time they built a stadium for the Andy Ruiz Jr fight in just seven weeks and it held 18,000. This will be a similar setup.
“They have the opportunity to hold it indoors but they want to create something that will shock the world. They want to build a stadium just for this fight.”
    TY-TOTAL
Exclusive by Michael Hamilton: Tyson Fury has gone teetotal as he bids to keep his mental health demons at bay.
The boxing champ, 32 — who confessed to drinking 12 pints a day — has vowed to family and friends he will stay off booze.
“Gypsy King” Fury has spoken openly about his drink, drugs, and mental health issues in the past.
He was spotted this week with his boxer half-brother Tommy, 22, relaxing by a pool in Miami — with Fury sipping from a bottle of alcohol-free lager.
A source said: “Tyson has kicked the booze on the head for good.
“It is not because of the boxing, because he can always get in shape for fights and obviously doesn’t drink during training camps.
“Tyson is doing this for himself and his family — especially his wife Paris.
“And he reckons it is the best way to be a great dad and stay in shape physically and mentally.”
    BATTLE OF BRITAIN
Anthony Joshua is champing at the bit to face Tyson Fury, who he plans to ‘absolutely demolish’ in their undisputed heavyweight title fight.
Eddie Hearn told Sky Sports: “You will get a different AJ in this build-up.
“He’s excited because he’s never really, apart from the Dillian Whyte fight, been in a trash talk environment. He will enjoy it.
“AJ has got the bit between his teeth, goading him a bit.
“I’m sure these two DM each other, goading each other. I get DMs from Fury – sometimes pleasant, sometimes unpleasant!
“When the announcement comes and the press conferences start, the pleasantries will go away and it will become personal.
“It doesn’t matter who respects who. Both sides are desperate to win because this is everything.
“There are no fun and games. It’s ‘them and us’.
“AJ will go to war with Fury. He has plans to absolutely demolish him. That’s what I believe he will do.
“In the meantime we will go through the build-up, which will be a lot of fun, before the biggest event of 2021.”
    THE GYPSY KING
Take a closer look at the man attempting to create history this summer…

    GONE FOR A SONG
La Liga have brought Villarreal’s final league match against Real Madrid forward due to the Eurovision Song Contest – and that won’t be music to Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s ears.
The Spanish side were due to face Zinedine Zidane’s team on Sunday, May 23 but the match will now take place the day before.
All LaLiga fixtures have been moved to avoid clashing with the annual ‘song’ competition – which starts on Saturday at 8pm UK time.
Most games will now take place at 5pm and, as Atletico Madrid and local rivals Real can both still win the title, they will play at the same time.
Villarreal had asked for the game to be moved to Saturday to give them an extra day to prepare for the Europa League final against Manchester United on Wednesday, May 26.
Today’s news will please the Spanish club but will frustrate the Red Devils, who face Wolves in their final Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
One United fan wrote on Twitter: “Nice of LaLiga to move Villarreal’s game back a day… no such consideration from the Premier League for United, though.”
    OLI OUT
OLI McBURNIE has tonight confirmed he’s OUT of Scotland’s Euros squad.
The Sheffield United striker has failed to recover from a broken foot in time.
Heartbroken McBurnie revealed he will be missing when Steve Clarke names his 26-man squad on Wednesday.
He said: “Qualifying for the Euros with my country was the best moment of my career so far.
“Not to be able to go to that tournament with the boys is heartbreaking for me.
“I’m devastated that I suffered a fractured metatarsal against Arsenal.
“It has ruled me out for the rest of the season and has unfortunately ruled me out for the Euros.”

    KAN GO
MANCHESTER CITY are the favourites to sign England captain Harry Kane this summer.
That’s according to Betfair, who are also offering good odds for the Tottenham striker to move to Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
He’s reportedly told the club he wants to leave this summer in a bid to win silverware.
Should he be allowed to leave, there will be plenty of big clubs willing to snap him up.
Harry Kane next club odds before September 3

    Manchester City 7/4
    Manchester United 13/5
    Paris Saint-Germain 10/1
    Chelsea 14/1
    Real Madrid 20/1
    Juventus 25/1
    Barcelona 66/1

    CHEL-SKYI
Chelsea are planning a summer raid for Atalanta midfield magician Ruslan Malinovskyi, according to reports.
The £20million-rated Ukraine international playmaker has had an outstanding season, scoring nine goals and make 12 assists in 41 games.
Malinovskyi is also understood to be a target for newly-crowned Serie A champions Inter Milan as well as Paris Saint-Germain.
However Chelsea’s Russian ownership would offer the 33-cap Ukraine ace extra temptation to move to Stamford Bridge.
But reports in Ukraine and Belgium now claim Chelsea will test Atalanta’s resolve to keep him with a substantial post-season bid.
    HARRY OFF?
Harry Kane has reportedly told Tottenham again he wants to leave this summer.
Sky Sports claims Spurs are ‘now making enquiries about replacement centre-forwards’ to fill the huge void should their talisman depart.
And they state this is the ‘first indication that the club are willing to consider the feelings’ of Kane.
Manchester United and City have both been linked with bumper moves for the hotshot.
And Chelsea have also allegedly been in contact with Kane’s representatives CK66 to express their desire to sign the England star.

    GIN & TONIC
Tottenham have reportedly made an offer for Monchengladbach’s Matthias Ginter, with Liverpool and Inter Milan also interested.
Gladbach are desperate to sort out his future and are keen to tie him down to a new deal, as he has just over a year remaining on his contract.
However, Ginter allegedly wants time to consider potential offers from interested parties, which would open the door to a switch to England.
Bild claims that there is currently a game of ‘contract poker’ going on between the player and the Bundesliga side.
They are demanding a fee of at least £30m for their prized asset should they decide to cash in over the summer.
    SHARPE SHOOTER
Former Manchester United winger Lee Sharpe believes Bruno Fernandes is still ‘not at Kevin De Bruyne’s’ level.
The Portuguese star has been phenomenal since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020 and is their top scorer this season.
Sharpe told GentingBet: “The jury is still out for me on Bruno Fernandes in terms of him being one of the very top players in the League.
“He does something magical; he’ll spray a pass somewhere or score a decent goal, or a free kick, and then he’ll spend 10-15 minutes of the game giving the ball away really cheaply.
“I’m not sure whether that’s just a form thing that he’s going through – or whether it’s actually him as a player.
“So, I’m reserving judgement at the moment whether he’s one of the best in the league – I think De Bruyne is right up there in the top three players in the league, I’m not sure Bruno gets into that top three.”

    ‘WORST DAY’
Thomas Tuchel insists Tammy Abraham’s FA Cup final axe was nothing ‘personal’ after the star’s girlfriend slammed the Chelsea boss.
The striker was not even named on the bench as the Blues lost the showpiece 1-0 to Leicester at Wembley on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s game against Leicester on Tuesday, Tuchel said: “It’s just about the amount of people that I can nominate for a game.
“I decided to start Timo Werner in the number nine role and we had Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud on the bench.
“So we decided not to have three number nines on the bench. This is it, it’s never personal.
“This is the worst day and worst decision for me in the whole week. Because since I arrived here everybody deserves to be in the squad.”
    HIT BACK
RANGERS insist a ‘sectarian’ clip being widely shared on social media is not genuine – as they blast attempts to discredit their players with “trial by social media”.
Light Blues players are being probed by cops over a video apparently showing them using “sectarian language” during their league title win party.
The video, which is understood to have been filmed on Saturday, emerged on social media and has been shared hundreds of times.
Police confirmed an investigation has been launched into the clip which appears to show squad members chant “f**k the Pope” while singing Sweet Caroline.
However, the Light Blues say they look forward to working with Police Scotland over the matter, as they highlighted the “dangers” of social media narratives.

    RON HIS WAY?
Cristian Ronaldo has fuelled speculation he is leaving Juventus by loading his £17 million car collection into a trailer.
Ronaldo, 36, has been linked with a return to first club Sporting Lisbon and is said to be getting cold shouldered by team mates who are fed up at how he is given preferential treatment by club directors.
Last week the entire squad were brought in for an extra day’s training while the Portugese international was treated to a day trip around the Ferrari HQ in Maranello near Bologna.
Now video has emerged of his car collection – which includes a Bugatti, a Mercedes jeep and a Maseratti – being loaded into a trailer overnight by a team of mechanics from a Lisbon-based company.
Footage of the night time operation was posted on an Italian football website called Per Sempre Calcio and it was filmed from a balcony overlooking the garage in Turin where the cars are stored.
Cristiano Ronaldo fuels Juventus transfer exit speculation after having £17m fleet of supercars loaded onto lorry
    RIO TRIPPS WALKER
RIO FERDINAND believes Gareth Southgate should pick Reece James and Trent Alexander-Arnold as England’s right-backs for this summer’s Euros.
Explaining his decision on BT Sport, Ferdinand said: “[Kyle] Walker I think would be the unlucky one in my squad – and he’d have really good grounds to ring me up and give me a piece of his mind.
“I like youth, I want to give youth a chance.
“I’m looking ahead as well, not just this tournament. This has been a bit of a weird lead-up – I’m looking at this as almost a free hit for someone like Gareth.
“You can introduce some young players, give them experience, really expose them to what a tournament is like.”

    RON HIS WAY OUT
BARCELONA are ’99 per cent’ sure they will sack manager Ronald Koeman at the end of the season.
RAC1 report that the only way he will remain at the Nou Camp is if they cannot find a suitable replacement.
Koeman’s reign at Barca has been a disappointing one since he arrived at the beginning of the 2020-21 season.
Along with their LaLiga troubles, they were also thumped 5-2 by Paris Saint-Germain across the two legs of their Champions League last 16 tie.

    OUT THE BLUE
CHELSEA are weighing up a move for non-league starlet Seb Drozd.
The Blues have been keeping close tabs on the 18-year-old, who is on the books of Isthmian League side Uxbridge, but is currently on trial with Brentford’s B team.
Drozd’s abilities were first spotted by the Blues when he featured in a showcase organised by the AG Football Academy.
The versatile left-footed teen can play as a full-back, wingback or in midfield.
And after shining in front of Chelsea’s scouts , Drozd also impressed in two games for QPR’s U18s last autumn.
A source close to Drozd said: “His style is perhaps a throwback and is similar to Damien Duff or Chris Waddle when in wide areas, but he has pace.”
    GERS IN TROUBLE
Rangers have condemned the fan violence that erupted after the team was crowned champions on Saturday
An official statement read: “We are grateful to Scottish Government officials, Glasgow City Council and Police Scotland for the constructive engagement in the lead up to the weekend’s game
“A small minority of people behaved inappropriately and in a manner not reflective of our support. Some of the scenes were unacceptable and have besmirched the good name of Rangers Football Club.
“These so-called ‘fans’ should reflect upon the values and ethos of our club, and consider the damage this does to the reputation of the club.
“We will continue to engage with authorities as required.”
    THE REAL DEAL
REAL MADRID are reportedly set to axe TEN players this summer in a huge transfer cull.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, top of the list is former Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.
Defender Raphael Varane, 28, could be following Hazard out the exit door.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with what would like be a £40m-plus transfer.
And the big names don’t end there. Gareth Bale, who also has another year left, will be flogged too.
    EXTRA SECURITY
Exclusive by Paul Jiggins: Tottenham are to beef up security at Wednesday’s home clash with Aston Villa amid fears of more fans protests against chairman Daniel Levy and his board.
Around 500 supporters demonstrated outside their stadium on Saturday.
Another smaller protest also took place before their 2-0 home win over Wolves on Sunday – when two protestors tried to get inside the ground.
Although both protests passed without major incident, Spurs fear the mood could turn ugly when fans return for their final home match of the season against Villa.
A limited crowd of 10,000 will be at the game – the first time supporters will be allowed inside the stadium this season.
Supporters, unhappy with the way Levy and his executive board are running the club following another trophyless season and their involvement in the European Super League scandal, are planning to vent their anger again.
So the club will draft in extra stewards in a bid to ensure any protests do not get out of hand inside the stadium.
    FAN THE FLAMES
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is excited to see fans back for the last two games of the season.
🗣️ “We hope it can be a positive day and move together”Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping the club can be united with fans set to return to Old Trafford for the match with Fulham. pic.twitter.com/yOHRgqYOve— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) May 17, 2021

    HOME HORROR
Neymar’s mansion was broken into BEFORE the Paris Saint-Germain star played and scored in a 4-0 thrashing of Reims.
That victory meant the Ligue 1 title will be settled on the final game – but it wouldn’t be surprising for Neymar’s focus to be temporarily elsewhere.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, a man managed to scale a perimeter wall and came ‘within metres’ of the front door.
There are various reports that he was ‘clutching bibles’ and ‘spreading the word of God’.
    AL OUT
Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to miss out on England’s Euro 2020 squad, it’s claimed.
The report comes despite his impressive performances during the season run-in.
And while Alexander-Arnold has made a strong case to be selected, The Athletic have reported that it remains ‘improbable’ he will land a place in the 26-man squad.
This is because Southgate is still unsure about his ability to balance his attacking qualities with the defensive solidity required.
The decision is not said to be a reflection of the Liverpool man’s talent or character, more a result of the way Southgate wants his England team to play.

    NOT GUNNAR HELP
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says his players have been suffering due to fans protests.
Thousands laid siege to Old Trafford and the team hotel forcing their game with Liverpool to be postponed.
There were more protests against the club’s owners the Glazers before the game against Leicester last week too.
And Solskjaer said: “I think the mood in any club and the relationship between the team and the fans is vital to what happens on the pitch.”
Solskjaer believes the protests and subsequent fixture pile up was the reason for them losing their last two games at home to Leicester and Liverpool.
He said: “I just didn’t want to use it as an excuse because we lost two games but surely it’s a reason behind the performances.”
    NOTHING RON
Cristiano Ronaldo was ‘happy to be subbed’ for the first time ever, according to Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo.
The Portuguese superstar was replaced by Alvaro Morata with 20 minutes left of Juve’s dramatic 3-2 win over Inter Milan on Saturday but apparently remained ‘happy and smiling’ in the dressing room.
Pirlo told Sky Italia: “I think it was the first time he was happy to be subbed off.
“We were one man down, and he’d have been chasing shadows. He was happy and smiling in the dressing room.”
    TUCH UP NEEDED
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel faces some huge selection decisions ahead of his side’s crunch Premier League clash with Leicester on Tuesday night.
Mateo Kovacic is continuing his return to fitness after 10 games out and will hope to be back for this one in place of Jorginho.
Here’s how the Blues could line up…

    CITY SLICKER
Riyad Mahrez has handed Manchester City a huge pre-Champions League final boost – by insisting he wants to see out his career at the Etihad.
The Algeria winger has won six trophies with Pep Guardiola’s side since arriving from Leicester in 2018.
And the former Foxes ace has no intention of moving on to pastures new, telling RMC: “I feel great at Manchester City, and I have no wish to look elsewhere.
“I don’t yet know what my situation will be, but I am happy at City – and they are the club where I want to be.
“People have spoken about me ending my career with Marseille, but that is not something I think about.
“I want to finish my career in England, with City. I don’t foresee myself at Marseille.”
    A-MAD FOR IT
Alternatively, Amad Diallo could be given another chance to impress following his exploits in the defeat at Leicester.
As a result, Mason Greenwood would be pushed up-top with Cavani rested.

    RED RESHUFFLE
Manchester United host Fulham at Old Trafford on Tuesday night and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is without four big names.
Harry Magure, Anthony Martial, Phil Jones and Dan James are all out with the Norwegian set to hand Axel Tuanzebe a start at centre-back.
The Cottagers are already relegated and with United focused on the Europa League final it is being billed as something of a dead rubber.
    Here’s how they could line-up…

Arsenal ‘have better chance of Camavinga transfer than any other club’, Ramsey ‘dreaming of Gunners return’

ARSENAL will have a better chance of signing Eduardo Camavinga than any other club if they make a serious bid, according to reports. The Rennes star, who is also target for Real Madrid, is said to be high on the Gunners’ radar this summer.
But an alternative could be an emotional return for Aaron Ramsey, who is said to be dreaming of rejoining the Gunners.
And Stan Kroenke is said to be keen to bring in a number of big names in an “exceptional” summer transfer window, after retaining control of the club.
Spotify owner Daniel Ek confirmed he made a bid for the Gunners but says it was rejected by the Kroenke family.

The 18-year-old will meet with his family and his agent at the end of the season to make a decision.
    via @TheAFCBell Twitter
    BRANDT NEW
ARSENAL have been given a boost in their chase for Julian Brandt after Bernd Leno revealed he’s been texting the Borussia Dortmund star to join him in London, via Sport 1.
Reports claim Brandt, 24, has emerged as a top summer target for Mikel Arteta.
Dortmund’s versatile attacking midfielder is said to have a release clause worth just £22million this summer.
Brandt is also believed to be open to a transfer after scoring five goals in 61 games for Dortmund.
A stunning switch to the Emirates could now be on the cards as Arteta also lines up an exit for flop winger Willian.
    BELLER-OUT?
PSG are still looking at Hector Bellerin, according to The Athletic.
The French outfit are in need of a right-back this season, and have reportedly eyed Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier
Barcelona have previously been linked with a move for the Spaniard, whose future is currently up in the air.
    ARTETA EYES BERGE
Arsenal have already made an offer for Sheffield United star Sander Berge.
That’s according to French outlet Jeunes Footeux, which was one one of the first to report Arsenal’s interest in the Norweigan.
And Football.london understands Berge is keen on a move to Arsenal, particularly if the Gunners can convince Real Madrid to let them keep Martin Odegaard beyond this season.
Sheffield United are believed to be willing to sell, and althoug Liverpool and Tottenham are interested, Arsenal are favourites to land the midfielder.
    ED IN THE CLOUDS
Any move for France starlet Eduardo Camavinga would surely see him join some of these Arsenal stars on this list…

    RAM IT HOME
A timely post from Arsenal about Aaron Ramsey’s FA Cup heroics following reports the Welshman could return to the Emirates.

    GUNNER GO FOR TO
Arsenal have expressed an interest in Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta is said to be keeping a close eye on the relegated Cottagers’ players with Adarabioyo reportedly at the top of the wanted list.
The 23-year-old is open to leaving Fulham at the end of the season after they went down, according to the Athletic.
Centre-back Adarabioyo has played 34 times in the Premier League for the doomed Cottagers this season.
Fulham only signed the Englishman in October – paying Manchester City an initial £1.5million with an extra £500k of add-ons included in the deal.
And this season’s Prem champions also included a 20 per cent sell-on clause meaning the Whites will only see 80 per cent of any money they get from Arsenal.
Adarabioyo spent 18 years at City and Arteta knows him from his own time at the Etihad working under Pep Guardiola.

    WILLIAN ON MARTINELLI
He said: “Martinelli is a boy, but we always talk.
“A few weeks ago, I was taking free kicks and he asked me, “How do you do it like that? Do you take free kicks like corner kicks?”
“And I said that he needed to start taking free kicks, because he is a striker and needs to score goals and it was really cool, because nobody had ever asked me about it.”
    WILLIAN ON FORM
The Arsenal winger revealed injuries have played a part in why fans are yet to see him hit his Chelsea form in north London.
He told Brazilian outlet Lance: “I had a good start and I never had many injuries, I always showed regularity, but I was out on three occasions this year. That’s why I couldn’t be Willian of Chelsea.
“I hope to return to my high level and a bad season does not define my qualities and my potential. I still want to win titles.”

    MORE FROM WILLIAN
The Arsenal winger also opened up on his goals to regain his spot in the Brazil squad…but accepted he must do better at club level first.
He said: “My goal is to return to the Brazilian team and play the next World Cup.
“I know that the moment is not appropriate for my return because of the difficult season I had, but I want to resume good football, regularity, be productive with goals and assists, as it was at Chelsea, and represent Brazil.”
    WILL I NEVER
Willian has lifted the lid on the differences between training at Arsenal and Chelsea following a difficult first season with the Gunners.
He told Brazil outlet Lance: “Each coach has his own way of working and each club has a philosophy of play.
“I was used to a more physical, intense training system.
“At Arsenal, with Arteta, we work much more on the tactical issue, aiming and opponent. We must respect and I must adapt to this new model.”
    LEAGUES AHEAD
AFTV’s Robbie Lyle has joined calls for an independent regulator – to change the way football is run.
It is crucial that we put fans at the heart of the game moving forward, which is why an independent football regulatory body must be established in the UK by the end of this year.Let’s send a message by signing and sharing the petition below👇https://t.co/fEv2cSu3ko pic.twitter.com/ckNuOqdJZw— AFTV (@AFTVMedia) May 17, 2021

    LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN
Gary Neville and five other former England stars have united to call for an independent regulator – to change the way football is run.
Neville, Gary Lineker, Rio Ferdinand, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards were among the signatories to an open letter urging fans from across the country to sign a Parliamentary petition backing the idea.
They hope to persuade former Sports minister Tracey Crouch to recommend the appointment of an all-powerful regulator as part of her “fan-led review” of the game.
The letter, also signed by other media figures and supporter groups, states that “as football fans, we were appalled by the attempt to set up a European Super League”.
They add: “It was a direct threat to the integrity of the game; destroying the concept of sporting merit and open competition.
“Supporters came together with one voice to oppose the cynical power-grab by a group of wealthy owners.
“The furious protests were heard and the breakaway fell apart.
“Now we must make sure this never happens again.”
    FINE ART
Arsenal are reportedly interested in a potential deal for Fulham star Tosin Adarabioyo.
The 23-year-old has been a rare shining light for the relegated Cottagers this season and has attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides.
And the Athletic claim Arsenal are set to rival Newcastle for his signature.
The report adds that Mikel Arteta knows Tosin well from their time together at Manchester City and could be key to agreeing a deal.
    GUNNS BLAZING
Here’s why Arsenal are so interested in Brighton star Yves Bissouma.

    SSOUMA LOVING
Exclusive by Duncan Wright: Liverpool and Arsenal have been told it will need at least £40million if they want to sign Brighton star Yves Bissouma.
The midfielder has become one of the hottest properties in the Premier League after his displays this season and but the Seagulls are determined to get top money if they have to sell.
Liverpool have tracked the 24-year-old all season as they search for a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum who is expected to leave when his contract expires this summer.
Boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to have gone as far as checking out his personality and professionalism after being convinced by his on-field abilities to dictate games.
But Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is also desperate to capture the services of the Mali international as he looks to overhaul his squad at the Emirates.
The Gunners want to pair Bissouma with Thomas Partey to produce a midfield capable of competing against the best teams in the Premier League from next year.

    WINGING IT
Arsenal are set to rival Manchester United in the race to land Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby this summer.
Caught Offside claim the 21-year-old’s performances in the Bundesliga, have attracted interest from the Premier League.
Diaby has notched an impressive return of 10 goals and 13 assists this season and both United and Arsenal are looking to strengthen out wide.
Yet the report adds that Leverkusen won’t let him go on the cheap, with a fee of at least £45million required to convince them to sell.
The Gunners are weighing up attacking reinforcements in the market with Willian rumoured to be heading for the exit door.

    FUL PACKAGE
Arsenal will reportedly go toe-to-toe with bitter rivals Tottenham to sign Lyon defender Joachim Andersen.
Anderson, 24, spent the season on loan with the recently-relegated Fulham but impressed in what was a disappointing campaign for the Cottagers.
according to The Daily Telegraph, Spurs are ‘in pole position’ to sign the Denmark international.
It’s been reported Tottenham are willing to splash out close to £35million to add Andersen to their collection of centre-backs.
Arsenal could, however, match Spurs’ seemingly imminent bid for the defender as they view him as a potential replacement for David Luiz.
Lyon are keen to retain Andersen’s services, although their current financial situation will likely force them to cash in on their prized assets.

    GOOD MORNING ARSENAL FANS
Granit Xhaka and Bernd Leno are among a string of players set to leave this summer, reports say.
Xhaka has been a vital part of manager Mikel Arteta’s reign, playing as a central partner for Thomas Partey and also as a makeshift left-back.
And keeper Leno has been the Gunners No1 since his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018.
But according to The Athletic, Arsenal staff are growing concerned the experienced pair will push for a transfer in the summer.
And it gets worse, with defender David Luiz, 34, and striker Alexandre Lacazette, 29, also facing uncertain futures.
Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey would ‘love’ to return to Arsenal this summer, according to reports.
The Welsh midfielder has struggled for form and fitness since moving to Italy to join Juventus on a free transfer in 2019.
According to a report seen by The Mirror, the 30-year-old is keen on a return to the Emirates.
These claims have been supported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who told The Arsenal Lounge podcast: “Aaron Ramsey would love to join Arsenal again.
“At Juventus he is struggling, he’s not playing [and has had] many injuries.“He will be on the market 100 per cent, he will be available. If Arsenal want to go for Ramsey, they know they have a chance.
“But at the moment there’s nothing advanced or serious with Ramsey yet.”
And finally, WIllian is expected to leave Arsenal this summer with Inter Miami among those in the transfer race, reports say.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the winger, along with countrymen David Luiz, is looking to leave the club.
Inter Miami were interested in taking him to MLS last year before he opted to remain in England with Arsenal.
And they are joined by other European sides lodging interest in the 32-year-old.
