    STILL GOT IT
Jose Mourinho celebrated Roma’s 90th minute winner against Sassuolo by running down the touchline from the manager dugouts to celebrate with his players.
Stephan El Shaarawy’s 91st minute made it 2-1 to Roma, giving Jose Mourinho a win in his 1000th game as a manager.
And the former Man United boss said: “I told everyone lies! I had been saying to the team for days that this 1000th game was not important to me… but I had an incredible fear of losing!
“Luckily we won and I was running like a child today because I was feeling 12 years old, not 58.”

    RON’S SUCCESSOR
Juventus skipper Giorgio Chiellini has named Paulo Dybala as the man to fill the shoes of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus after CR7’s departure.
The Old Lady have lost two outof three games so far in Serie A, drawing the other, in what has been a poor start to the season.
But the experienced centre-back is expecting Dybala to step-up in the absence of Ronaldo.
He told DAZN: “This will be Paulo Dybala’s team.
“Over the last couple of years, he lowered his average goals because of Cristiano’s presence, but he is a key player for this team and that is recognized by everyone.”
    LINGARING
Leicester City have emerged as a potential destination for Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.
According to outlet Fichajes, the Foxes are interested in a deal for the 28-year-old.
Lingard was linked with a permanent move to West Ham in the summer after a hugely successful loan spell, but a move never materialised.
Instead he stayed at Old Trafford, where he has enjoyed a productive start to the season despite being used sparingly by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He bagged for the Red Devils in Sunday’s 4-1 win against Manchester United, as well as netting for England against Andorra while on international duty.

    TOUCH OF CLASS
Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to wish Harvey Elliott well after his horror injury.
The 18-year-old was stretchered off the pitch during Liverpool’s 3-0 win against Leeds at Elland Road.
Elliot has suffered a dislocated ankle, with the bone also suspected to be broken.
And Manchester United man Rashford sent out a tweet saying: “Ahhhh man rivalry aside that looks really nasty, no one wants to see that, thoughts are with you Harvey.”

    SPECIAL RON
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken on Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford, admitting that ‘unfortunately’ he strengthens Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Klopp told Sky Sport: “Am I happy that he’s at United? No I can’t say that”
And when asks if it strengthens United, Klopp said: “Yes unfortunately. I was surprised when I heard of the first rumours he wants to leave Juventus, I had no idea.
“I’m not in the Juventus circle that people inform me from time to time what’s going on there, so I was really surprised about that.
“Then I thought ‘oh that will be fun for United’ then United obviously stepped in for him and did it. All fine, free world, they can do what they want.”
    STAT ATTACK
Paul Pogba is the first player in Premier League history to register SEVEN assists after four games.
How many can he get in total Red Devils fans?
And will he sign a new contract with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season?
    ACTION AREAS
Here’s a look at the action areas from yesterday’s game at Old Trafford, courtesy of Opta.
Just 13 percent of the play came in the Red Devils’ third of the pitch, as Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s side enjoyed a dominant victory.

UTD TIPPED TO FIGHT CITY FOR RICE
United are ready to fight neighbours City for West Ham’s £100million-rated midfielder Declan Rice next summer.
Chelsea have also been linked with the 22-year-old.
But ti is thought Rice is content to at least see out the season with David Moyes’ much-improved Hammers side.
JESSE: KIDS CAN LEARN FROM RON
Jesse Lingard posted “dream big kids” alongside him celebrating with fellow United scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo returned with a double to see off Newcastle 4-1, with Bruno Fernandes and sub Lingard producing spectacular finishes in the last ten minutes.
But while Ron has signed a two-year deal, Lingard is tipped to reject a new contract – in search of more regular starts.

    ROCKET RONNIE REACHES 20.2MPH
Cristiano Ronaldo clocked an astonishing aged 36 during his second Manchester United debut.
The Portugal superstar returned to Old Trafford with two goals in yesterday’s 4-1 win over Newcastle.

And in the build-up to his second he put on the afterburners as Luke Shaw burst forward.
Ronaldo suddenly left Toon defenders for dead to latch on to the ball and fire home.
The 20.2mph speed makes him one of the Premier League’s fastest players this season.
Adam Armstrong remains the No1 king of speed so far.
The Southampton ace managed 22.15mph, just ahead of Wolves winger Adama Traore on 22.12mph.
Wilfired Zaha, Nathan Tella, Ismaila Sarr and new England frontman Patrick Bamford have all gone faster than 21.5mph.
    UTD JOINT THIRD TITLE FAVOURITES
United are now 9/2 joint third favourites with Liverpool for the Prem title.
Champions Manchester City remain remain 6/5 top tips ahead of 13/5 Chelsea in Ladbrokes’ latest odds.
    TITLE ODDS: Man City – 6/5, Chelsea – 13/5, Liverpool – 9/2, Man United 9/2, Tottenham 40/1.

CAN RON TEACH POG NEW TRICKS?
United’s assist king Paul Pogba posted “big three points” as United went top of the Prem with a 4-1 defeat of Newcastle.
And the midfielder’s tweet included snaps of him celebrating with Bruno Fernandes, who bagged the third goal after Cristiano Ronaldo struck twice.

THE OLD RON TWO IS BETTER THAN GUNNERS
Piers Morgan’s adoration of Cristiano Ronaldo is coming between his love for Arsenal…
The Gunners earned their first goal and points of the season in sinking Norwich 1-0, while Ronaldo netted twice on his second Manchester United debut as the new Prem leaders beat Newcastle 4-1.
And outspoken TV celebrity Morgan noted: “Ronaldo has now scored more goals in the Premier League this season than the entire Arsenal team.”

    LUKE’S ROYAL FLUSH-ING
Manchester United star Luke Shaw watched Emma Raducanu’s historic win at Flushing Meadows from the poker room in his £2.8million mansion.
The England left-back shared a picture from his plush Cheshire pad and appeared to be waiting for ex-Red Devils defender Wes Brown and pro poker player Sam Trickett.

Shaw’s home is in the exclusive Hale Barns area of Cheshire.
And given his £190,000-a-week wages, the interior is as swanky as you might imagine.
The England left-back was sat at a six-seat poker table staring at one of two televisions in the room which both had the tennis on.
The luxurious marble floor and elaborate light over the table are stand out features.
And the area was complete with a leather sofa in front of the TV and fireplace.
Shaw shared the snap around 10pm – in the early stages of Raducanu’s match – and captioned it: “Tennis on, ready when you are @wes_brown24 @samtrickett7.” Brown, 41, swiftly replied: “K9 is ready, are you?”

TOON ACES ‘ASK FOR RON SHIRT’
Two Newcastle players asked for Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt after their team’s 4-1 defeat to Manchester United, according to rumours.
Captain Jamaal Lascelles and Joelinton spoke to the returning icon after the game and some furious Toon fans believe they asked for his jersey.

Adam Crafton of The Athletic tweeted that he thought he saw ‘more than one’ Newcastle player ask Ronaldo for his jersey after the game.
The suspicion was reaffirmed by Rory Smith of the New York Times, who thought Lascelles asked before ‘someone else’ tried to nab it off the skipper.
Video footage suggests that player is Joelinton, with Ronaldo appearing to point at another player and telling him the shirt’s already been taken.
There’s every chance the players were just congratulating the Man Utd star after his stunning second Prem debut, scoring a brace against Newcastle.
But the rumours have left Newcastle supporters furious with their struggling team and questioning Lascelles’ leadership.
    HARRY: ATMOSPHERE WON IT
Skipper Harry Maguire says United fans’ incredible welcome for Cristiano Ronaldo powered the returning legend’s two-goal show at Old Trafford and the 4-1 win over Newcastle.
Maguire tweeted: “He’s home and it felt good. Atmosphere deserved the victory… incredible.”
Ron’s left-footed double just before and after half-time peaked his energetic second debut as United went top on goal difference ahead of Chelsea.

MANC GIANTS FIGHT FOR DEC’S APPEAL
United are ready to fight neighbours City for West Ham’s £100million-rated midfielder Declan Rice next summer.
Chelsea have also been linked with the 22-year-old.
But ti is thought Rice is content to at least see out the season with David Moyes’ much-improved Hammers side.
    POG FUN
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba enjoyed an evening at Parklife festival – and even joined rapper Burna Boy on stage.
The Frenchman helped United to a 4-1 win hours earlier, notching two assists to take his total to seven in just four games.
Pogba made the short and quick journey to Heaton Park, Manchester, where the festival was being held.
And he hopped up on stage and danced alongside mega music star Burna Boy to celebrate an impressive win in the perfect way.
One United fan said Pogba has traded assisting his Man Utd team-mates for assisting Burna Boy on stage.
They said on Twitter: “He’s now assisting Burna boy, there’s no stopping him.”

    SOLSKJAER ON RONALDO
Speaking after Ronaldo’s two goals, Solskjaer said: “He does what he does.
“Cristiano lifts everyone, gets everyone so focused when he’s around the place, he puts demands on himself which puts demands on his teammates and demands on us, and that’s why he’s done so much in his career, he’s been so disciplined.
“He’s evolved, he’s a developed as a player, he’s a different type of player to when he left but he’s still a ruthless and clinical goalscorer, and he smells the big moments. He scents when there’s a goal.”
    ROLL THE RICE
Manchester City are ready to fight Manchester United in the battle for Declan Rice next summer.
United have earmarked West Ham star Rice as a priority target in 2022 — even though he is valued at around £100million by the London club.
But though the Old Trafford club feel they are in a strong position to capture the England midfielder, neighbours City have other ideas.
They have been tracking the 22-year-old ever since he first made the breakthrough into the West Ham first team as a promising young central defender.
And the manner in which his game has developed in midfield, culminating in his impressive displays for the Three Lions in Euro 2022, have not gone unnoticed at the Etihad Stadium.

    YOU SHAW
Manchester United’s Twitter account congratulated US Open winner Emma Raducanu on her amazing success.
The Brit tennis sensation overcame Leylah Fernandez at Flushing Meadows 6-4 6-3 to make history as the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam.
And United revealed they were right behind her, sharing a snap of Luka Shaw watching the final in what looks like a poker room in his home.

    FERGIE TIME
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Manchester City’s interest in Cristiano Ronaldo forced the Red Devils to move for the Portugal legend.
CR7 appeared to be set for a move to Pep Guardiola’s side, before United stepped in at the eleventh hour to sign the former Real Madrid star.
But Fergie said that the club could not allow Ronaldo to join their noisy neighbours.
“I couldn’t imagine him playing for Manchester City – I don’t think anybody could,” Ferguson told Viaplay.
“That’s why we made steps to ensure that he came here.
“The club then followed him well, I spoke to the Glazers, and then it was done.”
    NOISY NEIGHBOURS
Manchester United’s plans to sign Declan Rice may be scuppered by their fierce rivals Manchester City.
City have been able to delay making any moves for a new player at the base of their midfield while Fernandinho has been able to extend his playing career as understudy to Rodri.
But the Brazilian is unlikely to remain past the end of the season, by when he will have turned 37, and the defending champions know they will have to bring in a new face next summer.
    INITIATION GAME
Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heaped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo, while revealing how he introduced himself to his team mates.
On the eve of the Newcastle United game, in which Ronaldo scored twice on his second debut for the Red Devils, he stood up to speak to Solskjaer’s players at the team dinner.
“When anyone comes into the team they have to introduce themselves,” the Norwegian revealed.
“Maybe not everyone knew Cristiano’s name – but they do now!
“He said his name was Cristiano and that’s as much as I can say.
“But the atmosphere around the club has been electric. The supporters have really enjoyed the last 10 days or so since he signed.
“There were loads of expectations on the team and him – and he’s delivered.”

    TRUMPED
David Haye may have enjoyed his comeback victory over Joe Fournier – but Donald Trump was not impressed.
The 40-year-old former British boxing star returned to the ring with an easy win over his close pal.
Ex-cruiserweight and heavyweight champ ‘Hayemaker’ was fighting for the first time since losing to Tony Bellew three years ago.
And he won each of the eight rounds – including a 10-8 round in the first after flooring his opponent.
It seemed to be a fairly soft knockdown, and the former US President was rather unmoved by the bout in general.
Trump was sat in the commentary booth to call the action at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
And after taking several shots at current president Joe Biden, he then summed up the Haye fight up perfectly when he said: “Right now, the audience likes politics better.”
    WAITING ON TYSON
Tyson Fury is yet to respond to David Haye’s offer of a fight.
But knowing Fury it won’t be long before he replies to Haye’s claim that he knows ‘how to beat’ the Gypsy King.
    DAVID VS GOLIATH
David Haye will not get the fight against Tyson Fury he so badly claims any time soon.
According to boxingnews24, Haye must be ranked within the top 15 heavyweights by the WBC to be able to challenge Fury.
But that would involve Haye fighting other professionals in order to get him there.
And the 40-year-old revealed he would only get back in the ring again if it was to challenge Fury, meaning future bout is highly unlikely.
The only way the pair could get in the ring together is if they agreed an exhibition bout.
    HAYE’S CONFIDENT
Here is David Haye telling iFL TV he’s got what it takes to beat Tyson Fury.
David Haye says he knows secret to beating Tyson Fury after calling out old rival for shock fight aged 40
    HORRIBLE TO SEE
David Haye has launched a scathing attack on Vitor Belfort after he knocked out Evander Holyfield in one-round on Saturday night.
Haye told iFL TV: “It was horrible to see. It was horrible to see my hero getting starched in one round.
“I really didn’t like seeing that at all. But that’s boxing.”
He went on to say: “He went out there and just blasted him out. I was like, ‘What are you doing? He’s 58.’
“And he was celebrating like he’s done something impressive. What’s impressive about knocking out a 58-year-old?
“Different people have different values of respect. I was very disappointed.”
    HAYE YOU
Heavyweight boxer David Haye has claimed he is ‘good enough’ to beat legendary fighter Tyson Fury.
After beating Joe Fournier over eight, two-minute rounds on Saturday, Haye told IFLTV: “I know how to beat Tyson Fury, I really do. I’m being deadly serious.
“I understand why he’s so effective and no-one else can see it. I’m good enough still to do it. I would have done it back in 2013. He knows it.”
    HAYE FAKER?
David Haye insists he is serious about wanting to take on undefeated heavyweight king Tyson Fury.
But is it just be a cynical attempt for one big pay-day or a credible option?
You might not be surprised to discover that social media appears to favours the latter possibility…

    I DON’T NEED A WARM-UP FIGHT
David Haye invited more scorn on on his claim he wants to fight Tyson Fury by insisting he would not need a preparation bout.
The former cruiserweight king explained:  “I don’t want to show him what I’ve got.”

HAYE DOUBLES DOWN ON FURY CHALLENGE
David Haye doubled down on calling out Tyson Fury by claiming: I’ve got the perfect style to beat him
After losing twice to Tony Bellew, Haye exited retirement to beat pal Joe Fournier on points in an exhibition bout.
And having earlier insisted he knows heavyweight king Fury’s “kryptonite” he went further as he suggested he is the right man to dethrone the linear champ.
In what many might see as a publicity stunt, in the unlikely event Fury would take him seriously, the 40-year-old said: “It’s the fight I’ve always wanted.
“And if I’m going to come back into the sport of boxing in a REAL fight, someone special, that is the guy I know I can beat.
“I know his style, I know what he does well and my attributes don’t work for his style.
“I think they think I’m a bit old so they probably will take the fight but I’m looking for the biggest fight out there and you don’t get any bigger than 6ft 9ins undefeated Tyson Fury.”
HAYE BLASTS VITOR LACK OF ‘RESPECT’ TO EVANDER
David Haye claims Vitor Belfort’s one-round win over Evander Holyfield as “horrible” and his resulting celebrations as lacking “respect” for the 58-year-old legend.
TalkSPORT’s Michael Benson revealed Haye’s fury at Belfort.
David Haye on Vitor Belfort knocking out Evander Holyfield: “It was horrible to see… He just blasted him out. I was like, ‘What are you doing? He’s 58.’ And he was celebrating like he’s done something impressive. Different people have different values of respect.” [@IFLTV]— Michael Benson (@MichaelBensonn) September 12, 2021

I CAN BE SUPERMAN TO NICK FURY WIN
David Haye claims he knows Tyson Fury’s “kryptonite” – his big weakness – and would be prepared to prove it in the ring.
After beating pal Joe Fournier in an exhibition win, Fury said: “There’s one fighter I’d come back to professional boxing for and that’s Tyson Fury.
“He’s a dosser, it’s his word, he’s a dosser. And I’m his kryptonite. I know that he knows it, his dad knows it, his uncle knows it.”
“Tyson Fury, that big fat dosser, I know his kryptonite, I know what he can’t handle.”
MIXED REACTION TO HAYE WIN ON SURREAL NIGHT
David Haye’s points win over businessman-turned-boxer pal Joe Fournier in an exhibition bout drew scepticism, sarcasm and bemusement from fight fans.
One boxing lover wrote: “David Haye back with a vengeance. Title fight incoming.”
And another suggested the whole night had left him in dreamland – but perhaps not necessarily for the right reasons…
He posted: “I’m definitely having some sort of fever dream, David Haye has just boxed a nightclub owner then called out Tyson Fury, whilst Donald Trump commentated.”

    TRUMP: THAT WASN’T HOLYFIELD
Donald Trump had his own take on Evander Holyfield’s first-round comeback loss to Vitor Belfort as the ex-US President provided commentary.
Trump said: “Right from the beginning he was not the same fighter.
“He lost a lot. It was not Evander Holyfield.”
    ‘I’D STILL FIGHT TYSON’
Evander Holyfield insists he is still open to a trilogy fight with Mike Tyson despite a humiliating first-round loss to Vitor Belfort.
The 58-year-old was stopped in a comeback clash one fan described as ‘the saddest event I have ever seen in a boxing ring’.

Yet despite his embarrassing loss to Belfort, Holyfield insists he would still fight Mike Tyson for a third time, 24 years after their second bout.
Speaking after his defeat to Belfort, Holyfield said: “The guy pushed me, the guy is strong.“But I wasn’t hurt. There wasn’t no shot that hurt me real bad. He got me with a shot and I was off-balance. I’m not hurt. It’s kind of sad.
“I think it was a bad call, he shouldn’t have stopped the fight that quick.”
When asked whether he would still fight Tyson, he then added: “Of course I would.”
    HAYE: IT’S THE FUTURE
David Haye claims big-name exhibition events could be the future of boxing – like movie fans watching new roles for Schwarzenegger and Stallone.
Before his win, he told the BBC: “The purists will say this is ridiculous, why am I fighting this guy? But you don’t have to watch it.
“If you look at the Logan Paul and KSI fights, on the undercard you had legitimate world champions earning more money than they would have done fighting on a traditional boxing card.
“It’s giving younger fighters more options and more money to do what they want to do. It’s actually stimulating boxing.”
He added: “I see it very similar as going to watch The Expendables with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone and all of those legends.”
    SILVA LINING
Anderson Silva delivered a stunning first round knockout to defeat Tito Ortiz.
The former UFC middleweight champion pulled on the boxing gloves to face his fellow ex-MMA star.
And ‘Spider’ needed just one minute and 21 seconds to end the contest.
The 46-year-old said afterwards: “I trained hard for this fight and to show my respect to the boxing world.
“Now I go back home to continue training and… we’ll see.”

    HAYE CALLS OUT FURY
Speaking after his win over Fournier, Haye said: “There’s one fighter I’d come back to professional boxing for and that’s Tyson Fury.
“Tyson Fury, that big fat dosser, I know his kryptonite, I know what he can’t handle.
“He’s a dosser, it’s his word, he’s a dosser. And I’m his kryptonite. I know that he knows it, his dad knows it, his uncle knows it.”
    HOLY MOLY
Evander Holyfield blasted the referee for stopping his comeback early.
The 58-year-old, who is a former five-time world champion, pulled on the gloves again as a late replacement for Covid-hit Oscar De La Hoya.
Holyfield said after the fight ended in under two minutes: “I thought it was a bad call.
“I don’t think the referee should have stopped the fight that quick.”
    HAYE TO SAY IT
David Haye said Tyson Fury is ‘avoiding Anthony Joshua’ and wants to fight the Gypsy King instead after his comeback win.
Former cruiserweight and heavyweight champion Haye made a shock return to the ring against his friend Joe Fournier.
The British boxing legend, who once managed and promoted Fournier, comfortably won over eight rounds.
And afterwards, Haye confirmed he would continue in the professional ranks, but only to finally fight Fury.
But to rub salt in the wounds, he accused the WBC king of swerving long-time rival AJ.
Haye, 40, said: “I know he’s avoiding Anthony Joshua, I know he’s trying to put trying to put him on the back burner, he doesn’t want that work.
“I’ll give it to him, I’ll give him that work. He wants to fight, the Hayemaker will come for you.”

    HAYE VS FURY
We were supposed to see David Haye vs Tyson Fury eight years ago before various injuries stopped the fight from happening.
Would boxing fans want to see it now? Or would it be too much of a one-sided fight?
    HOLYFIELD VS BELFORT
But it was a sad return to the ring for Evander Holyfield, who was stopped in the first round by former UFC star Vitor Belfort.

RECAP – HAYE CALLS OUT TYSON FURY
Haye said after his win over pal Joe Fournier: “There’s one fighter I’d come back to professional boxing for and that’s Tyson Fury.
“Tyson Fury, that big fat dosser, I know his kryptonite, I know what he can’t handle.

    30. Llorente is booked for pulling Jota back by his shoulder.
The Liverpool forward was racing away from Llorente thanks to an impressive counter – the booking seemed a safer bet.
    LEEDS 0-1 LIVERPOOL
    28. Liverpool’s centre-backs are having a few problems with Bamford’s positioning.
The Leeds man is positioning himself between them in the build up and is finding space well.
Alisson is forced to come racing out to clear the ball that Bamford is running on to. He scuffs his clearance, but it’s enough to halt Leeds’ attack.
    LEEDS 0-1 LIVERPOOL
Here’s Salah’s 100th goal in all its glory.

    LEEDS 0-1 LIVERPOOL
    25. Liverpool come very close to getting their second as Mane is picked out directly in front of goal.
Jota seems to fizz the ball in well to pick out Mane, but on rewatching it, it was slightly behind the forward.
Mane’s stance also appears to be wrong and his right-footed effort is sent way over the bar from only a few yards out.
    GOOOOAL
Thiago scores some goal, but the flag’s up and it’s ruled out.
Salah was miles off as he picked up the ball on the edge of the area on the right.
He lifts the ball across the box to the far post, where Thiago steals it at the back post, beyond Ayling and headers the ball across goal.

    LEEDS 0-1 LIVERPOOL
    How’s stat then.
Only four players have reached the 100 club quicker than Salah.

    LEEDS 0-1 LIVERPOOL
    20. Another goal assisted by Alexander-Arnold and finished by Salah.
Liverpool work the ball down the right wing with impressive speed, before Alexander-Arnold is picked out on the overlap.
Trent delivers the ball on a plate as he squares it to Salah on the edge of the six-yard area, directly in front of goal.
Salah opens out his left foot and sends the ball into the back of the net and just like that he’s bagged 100 Premier League goals.
    GOOOOOAL
Salah gets the goal that he’s threatened in the opening 20 minutes.
    WELCOME TO THE 100 CLUB.

    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    18. Ayling sends a long-ball down the right wing to pick out Rodrigo, but Van Dijk in cruise control gets there first.
The Dutchman sends a ball to pick out Thiago who quickly moves it on to Salah as Liverpool’s next attacking effort begins.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    16. Robertson tries to clear a lofty forward ball from Ayling, but he fails to control his clearance.
Fabinho is left scrambling to clear it, deep within their own half.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    15. Fabinho sees yellow for lunging at Rodrigo.
Seems he was desperately trying to halt the counter attack, but it was a little late.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    14. Alexander-Arnold, Elliot and Salah combine well on the right, before Salah sends a lovely chip pass to pick out Jota.
Jota takes the ball on his chest before attempting to strike it on the volley with his right foot but it’s loopy and Meslier collects it in the air.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    11. Leeds defend the corner frantically and deal with it well at the near post.
Alexander-Arnold is back in his spot at right-back after a foray into midfield with England, but his delivery from the corner was poor.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    10. The ball is worked well around the area by Liverpool before Mane receives the ball on the edge on the left.
His left-footed shot takes a deflection off Llorente as Liverpool get their first corner.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    8. Salah is just one goal away from 100 Premier League goals.
Every time he touches the ball, the crowd boo.
Perhaps his hat-trick against them last season is the reason why!
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    6. An absolultey delightful ball is whipped in from the right by Alexander-Arnold and curls well just inside the six-yard box, but Jota pulls to an abrupt stop.
It’s not clear why he stops, as it was a perfect opportunity for Jota to be one-on-one with the keeper.
The ball rolls out the back line on the left, much to Liverpool’s annoyance.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    5. The ball’s straight up the other side as Leeds are playing with really intent and intensity.
Raphinha slips the ball through to Rodrigo just inside the area and sets him up nicely, but he shoots straight at Alisson who bats the ball away with ease.
    Warning shot fired.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    4. Salah makes a decent run down the right wing, he plays a cheeky one-two with Jota before engaging in a footrace with Phillips.
The Egyptian beats him, but is brought to an abrupt halt on the edge of the box, on the right, and appeals for a freekick. He went down very easily..
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    2. Scrappy start from Liverpool too, seems both teams need to settle themselves.Meslier picks out Ayling on the right who sends a long ball over the top of Matip to pick out Bamford on the edge of the box.
Bamford rushes his shot and fails to steady himself, the right-footed attempt flies way over the bar.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL
    2. Two rivals who haven’t seen each other enough in the past 15 years are back and raring to go.A sloppy pass down the right wing sees Liverpool gain the ball, but as it’s slipped through to Salah the crowd boo.
    LEEDS 0-0 LIVERPOOL

The whistle blows at Elland Road as both teams take a knee, the crowd erupt in applause. Leeds get us underway.

DAVID HAYE has called out world champ Tyson Fury after winning in his boxing comeback. The Hayemaker, 40, beat his feuding former pal Joe Fournier on points over eight rounds, and the pair hugged and made up at the final bell.
The big card also featured Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz and was headlined by Evander Holyfield, 58, against MMA legend Vitor Belfort. Follow all of the reaction right here.

Anderson Silva knocked out Tito Ortiz in the first round of their match-up…

    HAYE’S DAY
David Haye looked sharp in his eight round run-out against ex-pal Joe Fournier.
He dropped Fournier in the first round, with a jab.

    MAKING HAYE
After his hand was raised Haye said the only pro fight he’s interested in is…Tyson Fury.

Head of Triller’s Fight Club banner, movie mogul Ryan Kavanaugh, is ready to front the mega-money payday for Paul and even added an extra $5m.
He said: “We at Triller, are agreeing a full pro fight, Vitor versus Jake Paul; 25 million winner-takes-all.

    HOLYFIELD VS BELFORT
    Round 1 – IT’S ALL OVER!
Holyfield looked to be on skates whenever Belfort threw a punch and was dropped after a left hand.
Belfort then came forward as Holyfield tucked up and the referee quite rightly stopped the fight.
Predictably, Holyfield looked a shadow of himself and completely off the pace, but fortunately it was stopped before any damage could be done.
    HOLYFIELD VS BELFORT
Round 1 – Round starts cagey with Holyfield edging the jab out with Belfort patient.
Belfort starting to come forward now and already has Holyfield on shakey legs.
Holyfield swings and misses and goes through the ropes! This looks bad.
    HOLYFIELD VS BELFORT

    EJECT IT
Chaos broke out ringside after a women was heard yelling during the 9/11 tribute.
Reporter Mike Coppinger tweeted: “A woman was just ejected from ringside for screaming during the ceremonial 10-count in memoriam of 9/11.
“After she started yelling people yelled at her to be quiet and she became louder. In all the events I’ve ever been to, never seen that.”
    UP NEXT

And he will do so against ex-UFC champion Vitor Belfort, who is 1-0 as a boxer with his sole 2006 bout.
Holyfield has been training for a potential trilogy bout with Mike Tyson, and has filled in for Oscar De La Hoya, who pulled out with Covid-19.
The fight was moved to Florida after the California State Athletic Commission refused to license the heavyweight legend.

    ASK-REN FOR IT
Even Ben Askren fancies getting a knockout to his name.
Askren watched as Anderson Silva took out former UFC champion Tito Ortiz in one round.
But unfortunately, the retired UFC welterweight was brutally knocked out himself in April by YouTuber Jake Paul.
Still, Askren tweeted: “I’ll unretire if they give my someone i can KO 100%. Knocking someone out looks kind of fun lol.”
    SILVA LINING
Anderson Silva dedicated his first-round KO to martial arts icon Bruce Lee.
He said: The grand master Bruce Lee says, ‘Be water, my friend’. That’s what I did today.”
Asked what could be next, Silva, 46, added: “I don’t know. Now I go back to training and boxing.”

    SILVA VS ORTIZ
Ortiz was very aggressive and tried to pin Silva into the corner on two occasions but was punching air or the guard.
Silva defended well, turned Ortiz and landed a big right hook counter and followed it up with two more left hands.
Ortiz was out for the count and unable to recover. Silva improves his boxing record to 3-1.
    SILVA VS ORTIZ
Round 1 – Ortiz backs Silva into the ropes but the Brazilian is bobbing and weaving in classic Spider style.
Silva spins Ortiz and lands a big combination and it’s over!
Anderson Silva has just knocked Tito Ortiz out!
    UP NEXT
Former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz are set to co-headline over eight, two-minute rounds.
Silva, who left the UFC last year, beat Julio Cesar Chavez in June and has continued his switch to boxing.
For Ortiz, it will be his professional boxing debut.

    ON THE UNDERCARD
David Haye called out ‘big fast dosser’ Tyson Fury after winning his comeback fight and claimed he is the Gypsy King’s ‘kryptonite’.
It came completely out of left field when it was announced Haye would return to the ring to fight Joe Fournier, the man he once promoted and managed.
The pair, who have enjoyed a friendship for several years and formerly sparred each other, fought over eight, two-minute rounds, opposed to the usual three.
And Haye comfortably won all of the sessions, which included a knockdown in round one following a jab.
Afterwards, he called out old rival Fury, eight years after they were first scheduled to fight each other.
Haye said: “There’s one fighter I’d come back to professional boxing for and that’s Tyson Fury.
“Tyson Fury, that big fast dosser, I know his kryptonite, I know what he can’t handle.
“He’s a dosser, it’s his word, he’s a dosser. And I’m his kryptonite. I know that he knows it, his dad knows it, his uncle knows it.”

    FIGHT NIGHT
Evander Holyfield makes his return after ten years out with a fight against former UFC champion Vitor Belfort.
Oscar De La Hoya was due to face Brazilian Belfort, until he tested positive for coronavirus.
Triller called upon Holyfield, who was training for a comeback, who accepted the challenge.
The fight was forced to be moved to Florida after the California State Athletic Commission refused to license Holyfield.

He said: “There shouldn’t be any version of reality that sees me losing this fight.
“He just doesn’t see my body holding up for eight rounds, he doesn’t see it.
“The quicker I get it over and done with the better for everybody.
“Once I get my timing there, it should be pretty brutal, pretty fast.”
    ED HUNTER
One man who won’t be watching tonight is Eddie Hearn, who called the fight a JOKE.
He told TalkSport: “Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul was just a joke and so’s David Haye vs Joe Fournier, but it’s just a bit of fun…
“Some people want to almost respect their legacy in the sport and some just wanna make as much money as possible.
“We just need to focus on boxing. I’ve done that before, we had a bit of fun, it was a bit cringe to be honest, it was tough at times, but I do understand the demand.”
MAKE HAYE WHILE THE SUN SHINES
Haye already has a next opponent lined up after Fournier.
But it’s being kept a secret for now.
Triller promoter Ryan Kavanaugh said this week: “All I can say without giving too much away is that you should expect a very big fight.
“I couldn’t tell you who it is.”
    MYK TAKE
Haye admits the fight with Fournier only came about thanks to a boozy night in Mykonos!
Haye revealed: “This whole fight between us, came into existence when at dinner with a group in Mykonos we were asked who would win in a fight between us.
“I laughed, but out of respect for Joe’s ego suggested it would be close, maybe a draw – whilst winking to Joe.
“Joe’s straight-faced response was very different, he was deadly serious stating he would win in a fight today – I assumed it was just the tequila talking.
“And that’s exactly where it started. A boozy night in Mykonos, two alpha males peacocking with a crowd of girls.”
    WHO NOSE?
Fournier claimed this week that he once gave Haye a broken nose in a secret sparring session!
He told Switchbox TV: “So there was one occasion in Miami where I’ve hit him with a left hook and bang – broken nose – blood literally everywhere.
“Imagine if that was a 10oz glove without headgear, what would really have happened? You do think about it.
“He’s going 70 per cent, I’m going flat out trying to survive but it’s been six years I’ve been active and four where he hasn’t and you have to think, this is a real match-up!”

    TAKING THE MIKE
Interestingly, Haye doesn’t rate Mike Tyson – headliner Holyfield’s most infamous opponent – as one of the top five heavyweights of all time.
He told the Costello and Bunce podcast: “How many fights did he (Tyson) have where he was behind on points? Where he got put down, hurt and came back, that’s the question.
“The moment he started to lose or it started to get tough, it seemed to go the other way.
“Many fighters – Holyfield, Lennox Lewis – they’ve all had tough fights where they are on the brink of losing and found a way to win, I’ve never seen that with Tyson.
“I find it hard to say someone’s in the top five of all time if they’ve never had a fight which they were losing and they came back to win.”
    TALL TALE
Let’s take a look at the tale of the tape before going any further.
Haye quite clearly has the height, weight and reach advantage.
He also has an incredible 26 KOs from his 28 wins.
But Fournier is not a fighter to take lightly as he looks to remain unbeaten.

    NO JOKE
The result of this fight WILL count on Haye and Fournier’s professional records.
Haye’s last bout in May 2018 saw him lose to Tony Bellew – his fourth defeat in 32 outings.
Meanwhile, Fournier is unbeaten in ten fights, winning nine of them.
What are the odds of this going the full eight rounds?
    TIME TO SHINE
What time is Haye’s ring walk? I hear you ask.
The Brit is expected out around 3am BST at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida.
Holyfield vs Belfort will be an hour later at 4am.
Before Haye, there’s an intriguing battle between Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz at 2am.
    HAYE THERE
Good evening all and welcome to SunSport’s coverage of David Haye vs Joe Fournier.
The Hayemaker will return to the ring for the first time since 2018 after coming out of retirement to fight his former friend.
And it’s sure to be a tasty undercard clash as the world prepares for the main event between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort.
