TYSON FURY’S family and friends have been enjoying themselves in Las Vegas after beating Deontay Wilder to retain his heavyweight world titles.Fury partied with DJ Steve Aoki in Sin City until 3am after his incredible KO win over the American.
In a truly unbelievable third round, Fury dropped Wilder before being dropped TWICE himself.
And the Bronze Bomber would be knocked to the ground four times before eventually succumbing to defeat and getting taken to hospital.
Fury roared: “Like the great John Wayne said I am made from pig iron and steel baby!
“I was down a couple of times and hurt and Wilder is a tough man too after he got up a few times too.
“It was a great fight tonight, worthy of any trilogy in the sport, I always said I am the first best and he is second.
“But I went over to show love and respect and he didn’t want it to so I will pray for him.”
It was suggested that Wilder could hang up his gloves after the loss, but his trainer Malike Scott has revealed he will fight on.

    ‘ON CLOUD NINE’
Paris Fury has shared she is is still feeling so proud of her husband Tyson Fury after his incredible win in the heavyweight boxing fight against Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas at the weekend.
The mum-of-six flew over to the US to support her love in the lead-up to the fight as well as from ring-side in a stunning blue sparkly dress.
Sharing a snapshot of the two of them enjoying a slap-up breakfast the morning after Tyson’s well-deserved win, the 32 year old gushed she was still “on cloud nine”.
She said: “What a night . . . what a fight! The last 48 hours have been epic and I’m still on cloud nine.
“It meant everything to be there with Tyson, he’s worked so hard for this and he brought it home like the great champion he is!”
    DADDY FURY
Boxing great Tyson Fury exchanged Las Vegas for ‘La, La, La, Lancashire’ as the Gypsy King returned home after 12 rounds of partying following his historic win.
The best heavyweight on the planet plans to waste no time keeping his feet firmly on the ground today swapping his gruelling training runs for the school one.
The WBC champion’s return to dad duties comes after a chaotic weekend that saw him defeat American Deontay Wilder for the second time in one of the greatest fights in history.
After the historic win on Saturday night at the MGM Grand, knocking out the Bronze Bomber in the 11th round, Fury led Las Vegas in 24 hours of partying.

    BOX CLEVER
Tyson Fury should come back to the UK and fight Dillian Whyte.
That’s according to former British champ David Price, who also believes Anthony Joshua would knock out Deontay Wilder if they end up meeting next year.
But Price believes the Gypsy King should take on mandatory WBC challenger Whyte in front of a bumper UK crowd.
He told talkSPORT: “The Joshua fight was going to be a mega fight, but I wouldn’t rule out or write off the Dillian Whyte fight for a couple of reasons.
“Number one, Dillian Whyte would be a worthy opponent because of the position he has got himself in. The knockout loss to [Alexander] Povektin, he got straight back in, put it right the best way possible.
“Apart from that, he has had other good wins while he was the mandatory contender. He’s not been treading water, he’s got in with big names, potential banana skins and come through them.
“I think the other reason is that Tyson Fury deserves a good homecoming fight and where better to do it than a domestic opponent who also has a name in his own right?
“I think it is the one that makes sense because everyone else is tied up for the time being and, obviously, Fury is going to need a bit of time out after that fight.
“Maybe in spring or summer, somebody can put him and Whyte in a stadium, I think that is the homecoming that he deserves.”
    ‘CAREER COULD BE OVER’
Dillian Whyte believes Deontay Wilder may have risked his fighting career by going 11 rounds with Tyson Fury.
Wilder’s corner refused to throw in the towel – likely on Wilder’s wishes – but Whyte thinks that decision could prove costly long-term.
Whyte told Sky Sports: “[Wilder] took a lot of punishment. He could’ve finished his career potentially.
“Last time Mark Breland I think saved his career [when he threw in the towel in the rematch].
“This time he took way too much punishment and a lot of his corner were yes-men and they just allowed him to take too much punishment, which can be very detrimental to a fighter’s confidence and his body.
“He seemed pretty beat up. He was struggling from round three onwards badly.
“I know he says, ‘I’m a king and I’ll go out on my shield’ – but I think they allowed him to take too much punishment. It could affect him mentally, he could never wanna fight again, it could end his career. We’ll have to see.”
    ‘HE’S GOT BOTTLE’
Eddie Hearn has heaped praise upon Deontay Wilder for his role in one of the most thrilling boxing encounters in recent memory despite losing to Tyson Fury in Las Vegas.
The Bronze Bomber knocked his opponent down twice in the fourth round and looked set to win at one point, but he started being dominated by the Briton as he tired.
Hearn told iFL TV: “His credibility was on the floor before Saturday. He got absolutely hammered in the last fight and he was full of excuses.
“His credibility was shot to pieces. Now I think it’s gone through the roof because although his tank was empty, he stuck in there.
“In any normal situation, I feel the corner would have pulled him out. But he deserves credit. He’s got bottle.
“I still think he’s in a good position. Wilder shouldn’t be disheartened because Fury is a brilliant fighter.
“But I don’t know how much he’s going to want it after that. I just think Fury’s got his number and absolutely terrorised him mentally.”
    ‘BOXING WINS AGAIN’
Deontay Wilder’s trainer Malik Scott has shared his respect of both fighters in an emotional Instagram post.
He praised his fighter’s heart and paid sure to pay credit to Tyson Fury, who he called one of the best heavyweights of all time.
The post read: “Combatants: @bronzebomber Ah brother you already know I will walk with you through any storm and stand by your side regardless of any circumstances and our bond is forever unbreakable.
“What you and Fury did last night was unbelievable and the heart you two showed was astounding, love you brother✊🏾
“@gypsyking101 Tyson, Incredible fighter you are. You have a very uncanny way of bringing out the best in people and I really embraced this mission with open arms knowing we were going up against one of the best heavyweights of ANY era.
“And with my man @kronksugarhill being your head trainer made the task even more intriguing.
“Last night we were great but you guys were greater. Congratulations on a victory well earned. ‘Boxing Wins Again.”
    ‘BEST EVER’
Tommy Fury has shared a photo of brother Tyson and team behind him which helped him defeat Deontay Wilder.
The photo includes trainer SugarHill Steward alongside Fury brothers Tommy, Shane and Hugh.
Tommy Fury captioned the photo: ‘The best to ever do it!’

    DEONT BACK DOWN
Deontay Wilder will NOT retire after his trilogy defeat to Tyson Fury, his trainer Malik Scott has revealed.
Speculation has been rife that the Bronze Bomber could pack it in after his second consecutive defeat to the Gypsy King.
But such a course of action is not even on the American’s radar, cornerman Scott has revealed.
Speaking to iFL TV, he said: “Deontay has set his family financially secure so he doesn’t have to fight to make a living.
“But retiring is not in his plans at all and not something we’ve discussed.”
    MORE FROM HAYE
David Haye has volunteered himself to be Tyson Fury’s next opponent in the ring.
The Brit retired in 2018 but would happily return to fight Fury – a man he regrets not facing while he was still an active boxer.
He told iFL TV: “I’m just saying, there’s gonna be a time where they’re gonna need an opponent.
“And ideally you want an opponent that makes the most money. So FYI, the Hayemaker’s in the gym.”
    DAD’S FURYOUS
Deontay Wilder ‘tarnished’ his heroic effort against Tyson Fury by refusing to show respect after their epic trilogy fight.
Fury went over to the American moments after his sensational 11th-round KO victory to give him props for his Herculean effort.
But a dejected Wilder refused to give it up to the WBC champ, much to the annoyance of the 6ft 9in Gypsy King’s dad, John.
During an appearance on talkSPORT, he said “His behaviour, Wilder, before and after – it would make anybody’s blood boil, wouldn’t it?
“As a man like I am – if you get beat by the better man you say, ‘Put our differences to one side, well done.’
“For my money, he tarnished his performance, Wilder.
“It was a great performance, not knocking it, he fought his heart out, he fought like a warrior.
“But his behaviour at the end just let him down totally.”
    ‘HE’S NUMBER ONE’
David Haye admits Tyson Fury proved him wrong by defeating Deontay Wilder for a second time.
The Brit suggests the manner of the victory shows Fury is the best heavyweight in the world.
Haye had predicted Fury would lose his third bout with Wilder – suggesting the American would be fitter and more dangerous with his right hand.
Haye told iFL TV: “I definitely got it wrong. He took Wilder’s best – the heaviest single punching heavyweight probably ever.
“That same shot has knocked out 41 people in the past. That performance shows he’s number one.”
    WHYTE HAS HIS SAY
Dillian Whyte hopes the WBC will enforce Tyson Fury to fight him since he is the current mandatory.
And the heavyweight boxer thinks the fight would be good for the country – delivering the all British heavyweight fight in place of Anthony Joshua, who is busy trying to regain his titles from Oleksandr Usyk.
Whyte told Sky Sports:”Hopefully the WBC force the position and he’ll have no choice but to fight me.
“It’s a massive British fight, it’s a major fight for Britain. Two British fighters fighting for the heavyweight world championship, that’d be great.”
    FURY FROCH SHOCK
Carl Froch believes WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury could RETIRE after his emphatic win over Deontay Wilder.
Fury held on to his world title and kept his unbeaten record in professional boxing intact on Saturday, knocking Wilder out in round 11.
And now the 33-year-old has put his rivalry with Wilder to bed, Froch believes Fury could retire as there’s ‘nothing left for him to do’.
Froch said in his Sky Sports Column: “There is nothing left for him to do. I wouldn’t be surprised if he retired.
“Depending upon how much he loves the sport, and how much he wants to go in there and do it all again, I wouldn’t be surprised if Fury says: ‘I have done my bit and now I am finished’.”

    ‘HE’S NOT BIG ENOUGH’
John Fury is one man who opposes Eddie Hearn’s suggestion of Tyson Fury taking on Dillian Whyte next.
Fury senior believes his son would not be motivated to take on the Brit as he is big enough.
He admits he has told Tyson to take on Oleksandr Usyk or nobody – but given the Ukrainian has a rematch against Anthony Joshua first it seems Fury is in need of a different opponent to keep ring-sharp.
Fury told talkSPORT: “He’s got to go for Usyk or nothing in my idea. It’s Usyk next or nothing.
“I wouldn’t bother with the rest of them, they’re not in Tyson’s class.
“Would Dillian Whyte deal with Deontay Wilder? No. So why would you want to put him in with my son and get him knocked out?
“At the end of the day, he just got knocked out by a 42-year-old man (Alexander Povetkin) via a slap by the back of his hand.
“Tyson can’t get up for them kind of fights. He wouldn’t raise his game for that fight as he’s not big enough. And then he goes in there with a lacklustre attitude and you don’t see the best of Tyson.
“You only see the best of Tyson when he’s against the best. A challenge like he had (against Wilder) and it was a great fight. For me, I told him: Usyk or don’t bother.”
    ‘IMAGINE…’
Eddie Hearn believes Boxing fans should be calling on Tyson Fury to return to Britain to fight Dillian Whyte next.
Whyte, a Matchroom fighter, will is the WBC’s mandatory to take on Fury next.
First he must overcome a tricky opponent in Otto Wallin but should Whyte defeat the Swede, he will have a shot at a world title bout.
And Hearn believes a Fury vs Whyte fight would be huge, telling IFL TV:”As fans, we should be calling for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte. Imagine the build-up, imagine the fight.
“It does well over a million PPV buys, sells out a stadium. That is the fight. The winner fights the winner of Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua II”
    ‘A GREAT FIGHT’
Tyson Fury has received a congratulatory message from UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov following his victory over Deontay Wilder.
The Gypsy King closed the book on his rivalry with the American last weekend with a sensational 11th-round KO in Las Vegas.
Celebs and sporting figures around the world took to social media after the fight to shower Fury with praise.
And former UFC lightweight champ Nurmagomedov has added his name to the long list with a video message for the Brit.
The Russian – who recorded the message while watching his training partners spar – said: “Tyson, congratulations, congratulations.
“It was a very good fight. And my coach wants to say congratulations.”

    ‘ONE OF THE BEST’
Deontay Wilder’s head coach has hailed an ‘incredible’ Tyson Fury following his victory in the pair’s trilogy fight.
The Wythenshawe warrior closed the book on his rivalry with the American with a sensational 11th-round knockout in Las Vegas last weekend.
WBC champ Fury picked himself off the canvas twice in the fourth round on his way to registering his first-ever title defence.
And Coach Malik Scott was blown away by the heart and skill the Brit showed in the epic Sin City showdown.
He wrote on Instagram: “Tyson, incredible fighter you are.
“You have a very uncanny way of bringing out the best in people and I really embraced this mission with open arms knowing we was [sic] going up against one of the best heavyweights of ANY era and with my man @kronksugarhill being your head trainer made the task even more intriguing.
“Last night we was great but you guys was greater. Congratulations on a victory well earned. ‘Boxing Wins Again.'”

    BOX-TO-BOXING
Tyson Fury wants to defend his world heavyweight title at Old Trafford… and KO Cristiano Ronaldo as Manchester’s No 1 attraction.
And the Gypsy King has told the Red Devils’ footballing superstar: “This town ain’t big enough for the both of us!”
WBC champ and Red Devils fan Fury recently knocked out Deontay Wilder in their Las Vegas trilogy fight.
But the Manchester-born fighter spoke beforehand about featuring in a world title bout at United’s 76,000-seater stadium for the first time since the famous Chris Eubank-Nigel Benn draw in front of 42,000 there 28 years ago.
Speaking from his Las Vegas fight camp, Fury, 33, told SunSport: “I have two fights left out here but I’d love to bring a world title fight back to Manchester.
“It has always been a dream of mine to fight at Old Trafford. The last fight there was Eubank versus Benn in 1993 and that was massive.
“I’m really happy Ronaldo’s back at Old Trafford – but this town ain’t big enough for the both of us!
“If I lived in Manchester it would be a problem. But I’m an hour up the motorway in Morecambe so he’s got plenty of distance.”

    SOUL SEARCHING
David Haye believes Deontay Wilder was not ‘coherent enough’ to shake Tyson Fury’s hand after his ‘SOUL’ was taken in their trilogy.
Haye, 40, told iFL TV: “You don’t know where Wilder’s head is at. There’s so much ego, so much at stake for him. His whole life was at stake.
“Tyson Fury has literally taken his soul. And now also Tyson Fury wants a handshake.
“I’m sure in his mind; he’s like ‘I’m not giving you anything else, you’ve taken everything; you’ve ruined me.’
“Maybe he said, ‘I can’t even give you my hand.’ And also, he’s taken a lot of punches to the head.
“You’re not going to be coherent enough to maybe shaking somebody’s hand, it’s complicate.
“You don’t know where someone is at emotionally. He might have had a breakdown if he shook his hand.
“Maybe the realisation of ‘This man is better than me. Maybe he just doesn’t ever want it to go to that point, I dunno.
“It would have been nice for him to shake hands and embrace him and say, ‘Yeah, you’re the better man. You beat me tonight; you beat me last time out. Good luck in the future’. But everyone’s different.”
    MASS DESTRUCTION
TYSON FURY will have ‘too much mass’ for Oleksandr Usyk and should ‘ride off into the sunset’ if he becomes undisputed champion.
That is the view of American boxing legend and now pundit Andre Ward, who was ringside for Fury’s epic trilogy win over Deontay Wilder.
After the Gypsy King retained his WBC title, a unification with newly crowned WBA, IBF and WBO champ Usyk has been touted.
But Ward, who won belts at super-middleweight and light-heavy, insisted 19st 11lb Fury will be too big for Usyk, who was 14st 4lb for much of his career.
He told Behind The Gloves: “He’s not going to beat Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury is just not some big lumbering guy. He’s skillful; he can fight.
“It’s just too much mass, I think, but Anthony Joshua has to fight Usyk in a rematch.”

    WHAT A BELTER
Andy Ruiz Jr has warned Tyson Fury his WBC belt is the one he is waiting for to complete the heavyweight collection.
Ruiz earned the WBA, IBF and WBO titles in June 2019 after he stunned Anthony Joshua and knocked him out in New York.
But only six months later, following a period of partying and not training, the outsider lost them back to Joshua after being outboxed for 12 rounds.
Ruiz has since linked up with Canelo Alvarez’s esteemed coach Eddy Reynoso and bounced back with a win in May.
And he was ringside to watch Fury’s gruelling trilogy win over Deontay Wilder, and fancies a crack at the WBC belt, which has Mexican roots like himself.
Ruiz, 32, told BT Sport: “So that’s exactly why we came over here, I’m just waiting until everybody eliminates each other.
“And here I come, baby. That’s exactly the belt I’m waiting for, you know. I got all the belts except the WBC so that’s exactly what I’m praying for.”

    CHEAT 16?
A number of fans have claimed Tyson Fury’s stunning victory over Deontay Wilder was fixed.
The Gypsy King defeated the Bronze Bomber in the 11th round in the most exciting heavyweight battle for years.
The rollercoaster battle saw Wilder get knocked down in the third round of their trilogy bout at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
But he responded by sending Fury to the deck twice in the fourth – only for the champ to clamber back to his feet before the ten-count.
Two huge shots from Wilder sent his opponent to the floor in quick succession but Fury was upright by the count of eight.
However, UFC legend Daniel Cormier claimed that referee Russell Mora’s count was ‘crazy slow’.
And several more people took to social media to claim that the fight had been fixed.
One tweeted: “Tyson Slow Count Fury. Fixed fight.”
Another wrote: “The ref didn’t even count the second knockdown! He got to 6!!!!!!! Boxing is fixed.”
While a staunch fan of the defeated American said: “@BronzeBomber really wasnt going up against just @Tyson_Fury, he dead a** just fought the WHOLE BOXING COMMISSION!! He fought fury AGAIN with TAMPERED GLOVES and a REFEREE THAT LITERALLY GAVE FURY 16 SECONDS TO GET OFF THE CANVAS! SMH KEEP UR HEAD UP WILDER! U A WARRIOR!!!”
    HISTORY CLASS
When Tyson Fury beat Deontay Wilder in their trilogy, he drew ‘First Blood’.
But when he was a 10-year-old schoolboy at Styal Primary School, the Gypsy King dressed up as Sylvester Stallone’s famous character, John Rambo for World Book Day.
The people’s champion, who brutally knocked out Wilder in round 11, attended the school in Cheshire till the age of 11 from 1993.
And the 33 year old is remembered fondly by a former teacher, who called him “kind and caring” during his time there.

    LONG TYME AGO
Tyson Fury’s undefeated record almost ended when he was just 22 after he was knocked down by an unknown Canadian.
The Gypsy King has been handed numerous tough tests along the way, including in his epic trilogy win over Deontay Wilder.
One of the most notable came in 2011 when Fury took on little-known Neven Pajkic for the Commonwealth heavyweight title.
Fury had brushed aside 16 opponents as a professional before his bout with Pajkic but was given a real wake-up call in Manchester in front of his own fans.
The now 44-year-old is known as the first man to knock Fury down to the canvas when he caught him with a right hook in the second round.

    USYK PLAYER
Tyson Fury has been told to have a long break by Richie Woodhall, who fears he may only be motivated by Anthony Joshua beating Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury retained his WBC title after 11 gruelling rounds with Deontay Wilder, which ended with a brutal knockout.
He is now set to face the winner between Dillian Whyte and Otto Wallin, who will become WBC mandatory after their October 30 fight.
But former world champion Woodhall thinks Joshua, who lost to Usyk in September but is set for a rematch, is still Fury’s true target.
He told told BBC 5 Live: “My concerns are not only for Wilder but for Tyson as well.
“The only thing that beats Tyson, for me, is himself in terms of complacency. Lennox Lewis got complacent twice and got beaten twice.
“Complacency can creep into any boxer, so I’m a little bit worried there about what’s going to motivate him now to come back.
“Maybe an AJ fight, if he can beat Usyk, that would sell and motivate Tyson Fury.
“They’re talking about Dillian Whyte, but Tyson needs a good long break now.”

    ‘STUCK IN A CAGE’
UFC superstar Nate Diaz admits he’s eager to box before he retires from fighting.
Fan favourite Diaz, as well as his older brother Nick, are long-time training partners of boxing great Andre Ward and are considered by many to have some of the best hands in MMA.
And testing himself inside the ring is something the Ultimate Fighter season five winner wants to tick off his bucket list before his story is all said and done.
The Stockton slugger told BT Sport: “I’ve always been wanting to box. I’ve just been stuck in a cage.”
Diaz, 36, was ringside for Tyson Fury’s epic trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder last weekend – which the Gypsy King won via a stunning 11th-round knockout.
The future UFC Hall-of-Famer said of the bout: “I thought it was a good fight, an entertaining fight. I’m glad I came, it was cool to watch.”
The former lightweight title challenger was left impressed by the immense heart Fury showed to get up from two brutal knockdowns.
He said: “It was good. I saw it slowly coming, but it was good because they had a little back-and-forth in the beginning. So it’s cool.”

    WILD PARTY
Tyson Fury took his well earned celebrations to a pool party where he showed off his scars of war with Deontay Wilder.
The Gypsy King brilliantly beat American Wilder once more after 11 thrilling rounds in Las Vegas.
Heavyweight hero Fury partied until 3am in Sin City and was raving on stage with DJ Steve Aoki.
After a private recuperating lunch with wife and mother-of-six Paris, the WBC king arrived at the Wet Republic pool party around 3PM Vegas time.
Wet Republic is a massive pool party complex next to the MGM Grand with DJs and hot tubs, which hosted a party attended by Prince Harry in 2012.
It was the same place Fury partied at after beating Tom Schwarz in 2019, the day after he made his Vegas debut.

    PUNCH IT IN
Tyson Fury landed TWICE as many punches as Deontay Wilder after an epic trilogy win in Las Vegas.

    WILD GRUDGE
Deontay Wilder refused to show Tyson Fury respect in the ring as he still alleges his rival tried to cheat against him.
That was revealed by Wilder’s trainer Malik Scott, who watched his man bravely take the Gypsy King 11 rounds before being brutally knocked out.
But afterwards, the American heavyweight chose to snub Fury’s attempt to make peace and shake hands.
Scott said Wilder still holds ill-will towards the British WBC champion, after accusing him of cheating in their rematch.
The trainer told EsNews: “Deontay, he obviously looks at Fury as a man he had serious issues with concerning some certain allegations that was out.
“And certain things that he has actually seen with his own eyes. Tonight, after they released all that energy, he still felt the way he felt.”

    THEATRE OF (FURY’S) DREAMS
Tyson Fury’s sensational fight-of-the-century contender has earned him a ‘hero’s homecoming’ scrap in the UK.
Britain’s WBC heavyweight king wowed the boxing world by TWICE climbing off the canvas to dish out a thrilling 11th-round KO of Deontay Wilder.
The WBC have ordered him to fight the winner of this month’s bout between Dillian Whyte and Otto Wallin.
And Fury’s promoter Frank Warren reckons the Manchester United fan is big enough to fill every stadium in England – putting Old Trafford on stand-by for his next title defence.
Warren said: “I would love that homecoming more than anything the British fans and everything. Can you imagine it?
“Tyson sells out any stadium in Britain, easy. The fans will come out for him.
“He deserves that hero’s homecoming now.”

    ‘CREDIT TO HIM’
Deontay Wilder ‘finished out on the battlefield’ but with ‘no bullets left’ in defeat to Tyson Fury, said David Haye.
He told iFL TV: “I know a lot of people wrote Wilder off, but he showed tremendous heart and balls to stay in there.
“True to his word, he said didn’t want this corner to throw in the towel, Breland threw the towel in to save him for this day, which was a great thing.
“It appeared to everyone’s point of view to be the right thing, and this time around, I’m pretty sure Malik Scott was given strict instructions that no matter what happened to him in that fight, no matter how much of a beating he was taking, don’t even pick up that towel to throw it.
“Because, ‘I’d rather die in the ring,’ he said that, and he proved it.
“He finished out on the battlefield with no bullets left in his gun.
“He could not have done anything more. Credit to him.”

    ‘NO SUCH THING’
Tyson Fury broke then rubbished the supposed ‘Drake curse’ after the rap superstar backed the Gypsy King against Deontay Wilder.
The Canadian artist has been an unlucky charm for several sportsmen, who have posed for pictures with him and then lost.
Even Anthony Joshua, 31, was among the victims, after uploading a photo with Drake before his shock 2019 loss to Andy Ruiz Jr, 32.
But his great rival Fury, 33, overcame the myth, by knocking out Wilder, 35, in their Las Vegas trilogy fight.
Drake had wished the WBC champion luck and some superstitious fans feared it would be a bad omen.
But not Fury, who later made light of the curse on his Instagram story.
He posted: “Curse? No such thing pal.”

    GOOD MORNING BOXING FANS
Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder both earned a minimum of £18million for their Las Vegas trilogy fight.
The pair, 33 and 35 respectively, renewed their rivalry in Sin City in the early hours of Sunday morning, with Fury emerging victorious yet again.
And both men made a pretty penny for their T-Mobile Arena tussle.
It’s understood Fury and Wilder’s disclosed purses – which will be released by the Nevada Athletic Commission later this week – were £4.4million ($6m) and £2.9m ($4m) respectively.
But the duo were already contractually guaranteed a minimum of £18m for the third showdown.
Fury, however, has taken home the lion’s share of the pot due to the 60/40 split in place.
Meanwhile, UFC star Conor McGregor has congratulated both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder for the show they put on during their trilogy bout.
He wrote on Twitter: “Great fight that. Both warriors, both winners.
“Hard to not be impressed with Deontay there. Against the much larger man and almost got it done. Great fight. 40lb’s in weight difference is A LOT.
“Fair play both men there, very enjoyable fights they have had together. Respect.”

    NO GLOVE LOST
Tyson Fury admitted he expects Deontay Wilder to have ‘a lot of excuses’ after brilliantly beating his rival ‘fair and square’.
Fury told Behind The Gloves: “I’m sure he’ll have a lot of excuses to make.
“He always does, he’s a sore loser and he has Everlast MX on and I had Paffen Sports on, the gloves were the same.
“His trainers were in the changing rooms yet again, they checked everything, there’s no queries.
“He got beat fair and square and that’s all she wrote for Deontay Wilder. And I’ll be surprised if he ever boxes again.”

    VOODOO CHILD
Tyson Fury broke the ‘Versace robe curse’ after defeating Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas.
Boxing fans had feared the Gypsy King would lose his undefeated record after daring to wear a custom-made Versace robe.
After all, Conor McGregor lost to Floyd Mayweather after donning a similar outfit.
And Billy Joe Saunders, a close friend of Fury, also suffered the same fate when he wore a Versace robe ahead of his bout with Canelo Alvarez earlier this year.
Those results meant the clothing item carried a bit of a curse – but not for Fury.
The Brit was troubled by Wilder in their third fight, with fans claiming a slow count stopped him from losing in the fourth round.
But Fury recovered to dominate Wilder before landing an 11th round knockout to retain his WBC world title and lift the Versace curse.

    FURY RANKINGS
Tyson Fury has named his top four heavyweight rankings after his win over Deontay Wilder.
The Morecambe man said: “It was a great fight tonight, it was worthy of any trilogy in the history of the sport.
“Deontay Wilder’s a top fighter, he gave me a real run for my money. I always said I’m the best in the world and he’s second best.”
It comes after he told Barstool Sports the other fighters he would have in the top four before the clash.
He named Oleksandr Usyk third with Anthony Joshua fourth, after the Ukrainian’s win over the Brit.

    PUNCH IT IN
Tyson Fury landed TWICE as many punches as Deontay Wilder after an epic trilogy win in Las Vegas.

    POOL PARTY
Tyson Fury celebrated victory over Deontay Wilder with a wild after-party at the glitzy Hakkasan nightclub in Las Vegas.
But The Gypsy King is now in recovery mode and and making the most of his hard earned rest with a dip in the swimming pool.
His wife Paris took to Instagram to share a video of her 33-year-old husband soaking up some Sun while relaxing in a pool.
She focuses the camera on the Gypsy King as he shows off a bling WBC ring he wears as WBC heavyweight champion.
He smiles and cheers with barely a scratch on him – despite being twice dropped by Wilder.

    2 FAST 2 FURY-OUS
Beating Tyson Fury would be ‘very tough’ for Anthony Joshua, according to David Haye.
Speaking on BT Sport, the 40-year-old said: “I think from the strength of that performance, it would be very tough for AJ.
“Having watched AJ’s last performance against Usyk, the shots that Fury took down the pipe from Wilder, he was able to get back up and rough him up.
“The fact that AJ stood at range with Usyk having a boxing match… is AJ going to beat Fury in a boxing match? I don’t believe so.”

    MARK HIS WORDS
Deontay Wilder’s former coach Mark Breland has taken to Instagram after seeing The Bronze Bomber brutally knocked out by Tyson Fury.
Breland was sacked by Wilder following the last bout between the pair.
He threw in the towel from Wilder’s corner in the seventh round – saving the Bronze Bomber from a savage beating.
And now the 58-year-old former world champion has taken to social media in cryptic fashion.
In a bizarre video posted to his Instagram account, Breland can be seen shadow boxing.
And he simply captioned the post: “Great fight.”
    FURY ROAD
Tyson Fury became world boxing’s undisputed No1 when he KO’d Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas this weekend.
The Gypsy King looked to be in tip-top shape as he claimed a huge victory in the third and final battle against his American foe.
And looking back at Fury in 2017, it just goes to show how far he’s come.

    FURY CONGRATULATED BY LEWIS

    DEONT RULE ME OUT
Deontay Wilder would do ‘ten times better’ against Oleksandr Usyk than Anthony Joshua did, according to trainer Malik Scott.
Speaking to ESNews, the Bronze Bomber’s cornerman said: “Usyk and Wilder? I believe it’s a superfight. I believe stylistically Usyk would beat AJ again.
“If AJ could make the necessary adjustments stylistically with his team then I believe it would be a much more competitive fight.
“But I still would give the edge to Usyk… and I’d maybe give him the edge by stoppage – it just depends how AJ would handle the first three rounds as far as positioning.
“But with Deontay, I believe his style would do a whole lot better against Usyk’s than AJ’s style did, ten times better.
“Because I look at it like this – Usyk fought AJ and I keep telling everybody he got bruises and everything which means he was getting hit.”

    LANCS HERO
Lancashire local Tyson Fury delighted fans from his home county following victory over Deontay Wilder on Saturday night.
After a brutal eleventh round knockout, Fury grabbed a microphone and belted down it: “Lancaster, la la la, Lancashire la la la!”
Gypsy King Fury was born in Wythenshawe in south Manchester.
He now lives in Morecambe – in the City of Lancaster district of Lancashire – hence the ‘Lancaster’ and ‘Lancashire’ chants.
Manchester was also historically part of the county of Lancashire, but since 1974 comes under the county of Greater Manchester.
And he gave a nod to his Lancashire roots after a savage knockout blow.
Fury’s football-like chant followed his rendition of ‘Walking in Memphis’ to the 20,000 strong crowd at T-Mobile Arena.
The 33-year-old changed Marc Cohn’s classic to ‘Walking in Vegas’ given the location of the fight.

    LOOK OF GLOVE
Paris Fury gave her man Tyson as adorable look of love as he made his walk to the ring last night.
The Gypsy King sauntered in wearing a Spartan outfit inspired by the hit movie ‘300’.
Fury, 33, had the crowd lapping up his every move as he sang along to AC DC classic You Shook Me All Night Long.
And Paris clearly loved it too as she cracked into a huge smile and nodded her approval in an undeniable look of love.
The mum of six was caught on camera as she took her ringside seat looking stunning in a sparkly blue dress.

     DEONT DELAY
Deontay Wilder’s pre-fight ‘s***-house’ move to delay his bout with Tyson Fury backfired spectacularly, writes WILLIAM PUGH.
The Bronze Bomber was knocked spark out in the 11th round by the Gypsy King and fans were quick to poke fun at the American’s bizarre pre-fight ritual after the defeat.
Fury floored the American three times in Las Vegas – with the third and final time bringing their long-running rivalry to a close as the ref waved the fight off.
Wilder, 35, was well in the contest in the early stages and even had Fury on the deck himself twice in the fourth round before the Alabama ace ran out of steam.
It was arguably Wilder’s best performance in the trilogy but some post-fight focus was on his antics in the dressing room beforehand.
As challenger, Wilder had to enter the ring first.
But live footage showed him dawdling in the dressing room surrounded by his entourage.
Wilder was seen standing with his team in a silent circle as someone appeared to serenade or preach to the Bronze Bomber who had his head bowed.
    WILD CLAIMS
Deontay Wilder’s trainer Malik Scott has revealed that the Bronze Bomber broke his hand during last night’s defeat to Tyson Fury.
The American, 35, floored the Gypsy King twice in the fourth round, only to later be knocked out in the penultimate stanza of an instant classic.
Speaking to ESNews after the bout, cornerman Scott revealed that Wilder had come out of the fight with a number of injuries.
He said: “I took him up into his room, he’s seen a doctor afterwards.
“Everything’s cool… he busted his lip, he broke his hand, broke his finger, knuckle, something like that.
    “But life goes on.”

    THE ROCK SAYS
Tyson Fury’s stunning knockout victory over Deontay Wilder has been hailed as one of the greatest nights in heavyweight boxing.
And one of the most famous men on the planet was left open-mouthed at the action unfolding in front of him.
WWE legend and movie star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson dubbed the trilogy bout as ‘one of the greatest’ he had ever seen.
He tweeted: “That was one of the greatest fights I’ve ever seen.
“Congrats to my friend & champion @Tyson_Fury. What a beautiful & resilient performance.
“What a “on the shield” heart @BronzeBomber has. I was inspired tonight by both men.”

    FURY FIGHTBACK
After six rounds of heavyweight action in Las Vegas Tyson Fury was trailing Deontay Wilder on the judges scorecards.
The Gypsy King knocked out Wilder in the eleventh, but was losing on points at the halfway stage.
The scorecards revealed all three American judges to have Fury narrowly down 56-55 at the end of the sixth.
Dave Moretti, Tim Cheatham and Steve Weisfeld gave Fury three out of the first six, but because he was knocked down twice in the fourth he lost that round 10-7.
But after the sixth round The Gypsy King came into his own.
Moretti and Weisfeld both gave Fury ALL of the following rounds until the knockout, while Cheatham did the same – apart from bizarrely scoring the ninth in favour of Wilder.
By the time of the stoppage Moretti had it 95-91, Cheatham closer at 94-92 and Weisfeld at 95-92.

    LEW GOT THIS
British boxing legend Lennox Lewis congratulated Tyson Fury on his victory in Las Vegas – just as The Gypsy King got out of the shower.
Fury was speaking after knocking out Deontay Wilder, but spotted Lewis and shouted: “Come on Lennox get in here!”
Fresh from washing Wilder’s blood from his body the Gypsy King was wearing just a hat and shorts as he spoke to Lewis.
The two heavyweight greats shared a few words after Fury’s epic knockout in his trilogy fight with the Bronze Bomber.
In a video posted to Frank Warren’s Twitter account, Lewis approaches Fury and says: “Unbelievable, great fight.
“You showed great heart, great determination and ring IQ. Great job, enjoy it.”
And Fury joked with the three-time world heavyweight champion: “You can’t go swimming and not get wet!”
He then thanked the 56-year-old saying: “Thank you Lennox I really appreciate it, God bless you.”

    ERA DEFINING
Tyson Fury’s brutal knockout of Deontay Wilder left the Gypsy King feeling sorry for his opponents.
The Gypsy King declared: “I can only be the best fighter of my day, and I’ve done that.
“I’m the best fighter of my era. I’m the generation fighter, I actually feel sorry for all these guys who have had to fight me.
“Because I’m in the dressing room at home I’m not nervous – you know it’s a boxing fight to me.
“I feel sorry for them because they’re fighting the fighter of the generation, that’s for sure.”

    DEON AND DUSTED
Tyson Fury stated that his legendary rivalry with Deontay Wilder is “actually done”.
Fury cemented his legacy as the greatest heavyweight boxer of his era after beating Wilder in an 11-round thriller in Las Vegas.
The Gypsy King shook off two knockdowns and then knocked his nemesis out with a powerful punch to complete his trilogy with the Bronze Bomber.
The British superstar praised his fallen opponent after the match but made it clear there is no rematch clause.
Fury told BBC Sport: “It was a great trilogy, and he is a good dance partner for trilogies.
“Wilder’s been a good dance partner but there’s no rematch clause. It’s actually done.”

    FUR JOKING
Tyson Fury stopped Deontay Wilder with a brutal eleventh round knockout in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
The Gypsy King also had Wilder down in the third and the tenth, and has claimed he nearly BROKE his ankle in doing so.
After dropping the Bronze Bomber to the canvas for the first time in the third round Fury tripped and almost fell over his huge 6ft 9in frame.
He seemed to roll his ankle nastily and was lucky not to end up on the deck next to the stricken Wilder.
And the 33-year-old has revealed the fight could have over barely before it started – but not because of a knockout blow.
Fury confessed, via iFL TV: “When I hit him with an uppercut, bang in the first [third] round, dropped him, I nearly broke my ankle.
“I went over on my ankle, my ankle’s hurt.”

    BATTLE OF THE BRITS
Will we ever see Fury vs AJ?

    PARTY TIME
Tyson Fury was true to his word as he celebrated victory over Deontay Wilder by partying with brother Tommy and wife Paris in Las Vegas, writes TRISTAN BARCLAY.
The Gypsy King vowed to put any thoughts of his next opponent to the back of his mind and enjoy a night out following his stunning knock-out win.
And hours after sending Wilder to the canvas for a third and final time at Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, Fury could be seen living it up at the glitzy Hakkasan nightclub.
Taking his place in the DJ booth alongside pal Steve Aoki, a shirtless Fury serenaded the crowd with a selection of his now famous victory songs.
First on the karaoke playlist was American Pie – a Fury favourite he has performed in the ring following previous wins.
The 33-year-old then belted out versions of Sweet Caroline and ACDC’s TNT to go with the rendition of Walking In Memphis he sang in the ring hours earlier.
It wasn’t long before Fury was then up on the DJ booth, sending the crowd into a frenzy with some shadow boxing and long-limbed dance moves.
Fury was joined at the Hakkasan venue by his brother Tommy and wife Paris, and the rest of his sparring squad.

    FURY SPEAKS
Tyson Fury has thanked his team on Twitter.

    FEEL TYSON’S FURY
WWE have congratulated Tyson Fury on his win over Deontay Wilder.
The Brit had a spell in the WWE, and fought Braun Strowman on a pay-per view in Saudi Arabia.

    GOODBYE
The night belongs to France – and so too does the Nations League trophy.
For the second time in four days, Didier Deschamps side showed that they have the fighting spirit to match their talent as Les Bleus came from behind to win once again.
A stunner from Karim Benzema and a contentious Kylian Mbappe strike quickly cancelled out Mikel Oyarzabal’s opener and ensured that it’s France, and not Spain, that are the first country to have won the World Cup, European Championships and Nations League.
That’s all for this year’s edition of the UEFA’s newest international competition, and that’s all from us for this evening. Thanks for being with us, and goodnight.

    FRANCE UN-PHASED
Debate is raging on television and across social media in regards to Kylian Mbappe’s winning goal this evening.
The French striker was clearly in an offside position when Theo Hernandez slipped his pass through the Spanish defence.
However, in his attempt to cut it out before it reached Mbappe, defender Eric Garcia touched the ball on to which deemed to start a second phase with Mbappe onside.
The VAR officials applied the rules and the goal stood. It just might be that that those rules need fixing.

    BRILLIANT BLEUS
Ignoring penalty shootouts, France are now unbeaten in 25 competitive matches.
In emerging victorious this evening, they also become the first country to have won the World Cup, the European Championships and the Nations League.

PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!IT’S ALL OVER!FRANCE WIN THE NATIONS LEAGUE!

    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
90+4. Spain win a corner, and up comes Unai Simon.
The goalkeeper gets a touch on Fornals’ delivery too, helping it to fall for Yeremi at the far post. The substitute pings his shot goalwards through a crowd of players and it could end up anywhere. There’s momentary hope until Hugo Lloris comes to France’s rescue with another big save!

    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
90+2. Griezmann’s 100th appearance for France comes to an end. It hasn’t been his most fruitful personally, but looks set to end in silverware.
    Jordan Veretout replaces him.
    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
    90. Spain have five minutes to rescue this Nations League final.
    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
    89. Straight up the other end, and Mbappe almost seals it.
Benzema finds his strike partner all alone on the right of the area, but this time the PSG forward can’t squeeze his shot beyond Unai Simon.
    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
    88. Huge save from Hugo Lloris!
The French captain shows his worth when it’s needed most, denying Oyarzabal an equaliser with a one-handed stop to keep out his thumping volley.

    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
    86. Aymeric Laporte picks up a yellow card on his first encounter with France for catching Leo Dubois.
    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
    84. Luis Enrique has the dice out and rolls a double.
Pablo Fornals and Mikel Merino are on; off go Ferran Torres and Rodri.

    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
    82. The Spanish don’t quite know how this final has slipped away from them. It seems a long time ago since Oyarzabal fired them ahead.
    SPAIN 1-2 FRANCE
    80. France lead! Or do they?
Kylian Mbappe breaks beyond the Spain defence and slides a left-footer underneath Unai Simon, but the Spanish players are convinced he is offside.
While Mbappe and his teammates celebrate, those in red implore Anthony Taylor to consult VAR – as if that isn’t an immediate occurrence anyway.
The replays show that Mbappe does indeed look in an offside decision, but the last touch on the pass through seems to have come off Eric Garcia.
After a nervous wait, the goal stands! France have come from behind again!

    GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLL!!KYLIAN MBAPPE SCORES FOR FRANCE!!
    SPAIN 1-1 FRANCE
    77. Yeremi shows off some of his skills inside the box, but his shot clatters into the nearest defender.
    SPAIN 1-1 FRANCE
    76. Pogba goes for goal to no avail. The French midfielder would be a fitting choice to settle this encounter.
    SPAIN 1-1 FRANCE
    75. Another Spain change that sees Gavi withdrawn. It won’t be the last we see of Barcelona’s latest teenage sensation.
    On comes Koke.
    SPAIN 1-1 FRANCE
    72. This is finally the final we had hoped for, and it’s one that either side could win.
Rodri tries his luck with a long-ranger that crashes into Kimpembe and drops behind for a corner.
    SPAIN 1-1 FRANCE
    69. Out of nowhere, this game has burst into life and now it’s all action.
France’s tails are up after their instant response, and almost grab a quickfire second, first through Mbappe’s lob and then Pogba’s header.
    SPAIN 1-1 FRANCE
    66. What a goal! What a response!
Straight from France’s kick-off, Paul Pogba strides forward in possession and picks out Kylian Mbappe. The forward quickly moves play on to Karim Benzema on the left flank, but the striker has little support in attack.
It turns out though, he doesn’t need it. Taking a couple of touches to set himself on the corner of the penalty area, Benzema shifts the ball on to his right foot and then unleashes an incredible curling effort into the top far corner, beyond the outstretched arm of Unai Simon.
    An absolutely sensational goal.

    GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLL!!BRILLIANT FROM KARIM BENZEMA!!
    SPAIN 1-0 FRANCE
    64. Seconds after Theo Hernandez has crashed against the crossbar at one end, Mikel Oyarzabal scores at the other!
The Spanish forward never looked in control of Sergio Busquets’ pass forward, but somehow managed to bundle his way beyond Dayot Upamecano to move inside the left of the penalty area.
If the build-up was unconvincing though, there was nothing questionable about the finish. The Real Sociedad forward looked up and slammed a left-footed effort across Hugo Lloris and into the far corner.
    First blood to Spain!

    GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLL!!MIKEL OYARZABAL BREAKS THE DEADLOCK!!
    SPAIN 0-0 FRANCE
    63. CROSSBAR! Theo Hernandez is so close to adding to his semi-final heroics!
Pogba sparks the attack, driving powerfully through the midfield, and then finds Benzema on the left. The striker’s cross picks out the arriving Hernandez at the near post, who connects with a snapshot that clatters the underside of the bar before coming out again.
    So close.

    FULL RACE RESULTS

    VERSTAPPEN TAKES CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD

    BOTTAS WINS

    BOT TOP
Bottas’ last win came over a year ago in the Russian GP.
He has now won his 10th in his F1 career, and he believes his performance was one of his best.
He said: “It’s been a while. It feels good. From my side, that’s one of the best races I’ve had.
“It’s not easy to choose the strategy here in these conditions. It feels like a well-earned victory.”
VALTTERI BOTTAS WINS THE TURKISH GP
Verstappen is second. Perez is third. Leclerc is fourth and Hamilton is down in fifth.
Good results all round for Red Bull, as Verstappen has a six point lead in the championship.

    FINAL LAP
Bottas is on his way to his 10th win in F1. His first since Russia last year.
HAMILTON NOW UNDER PRESSURE FROM GASLY
He is struggling with those new tyres. Gasly meanwhile is flying. He could pass the world champion here.
    HAMILTON IS FURIOUS
He’s discovered he dropped from third to fifth following that pitstop. He is now closing in on Leclerc, who is struggling for grip.

    LAP 52
Perez has now passed Leclerc and moves into the podium places.
LAP 51 HAMILTON PITS FOR TYRES
He has gone for a new set of intermediate tyres. He has now dropped to fifth and behind Perez.
Hamilton was incredibly relaxed about the decision but with the threat of rain, perhaps Merc could not risk keeping him out.
LAP 50 HAMILTON ASKED ABOUT HIS TYRES
He says: “I am sliding around, but it’s ok.” He’s still on the same set of tyres he stated the race on.
    LAP 47
Bottas regains the lead as he is on the new set of intermediate tyres. He passes Leclerc into Turn One. Good move from Bottas.

    LAP 46
Slow burner this race, but it is about to get pretty exciting. Hamilton is still on the same set of intermediate tyres.
    LAP 44
Leclerc, Bottas, Verstappen, Hamilton; that’s you top four. Bottas and Verstappen have stopped for new tyres.
LAP 42 HAMILTON QUESTIONS HIS TEAM’S CHOICE ON TYRES
The team have a new set of intermediate tyres ready, but he says he is not so sure.
His team are back in the garage while they re-assess the conditions.
Mercedes: “Box box, box box” Hamilton: “Why?” Mercedes: “New inter is the way to go” Hamilton: “I don’t think it is, man”
    PEREZ ALSO STOPS
The Mexican is in for tyres and Hamilton is now in fourth.
    LAP 38
Bottas now stops he has opted for a new set of intermediates. Leclerc leads the race, but has yet to stop.

    LAP 37
Verstappen pits from P2. It is a good stop. Very quick. 2.1 seconds. He is back out on track.
    LAP 35
Fantastic wheel to wheel action from Hamilton and Perez. Both kept it clean. It looked as thought Hamilton had the move done, but he fought back and held his time into Turn One.
The Mexican retains his position and stays in fourth and crucially holds up Hamilton for his teammate.
    LAP 33
Hamilton is now under a second off Perez. Crucially that means he is DRS distance.
    LAP 29
Good fight between Vettel and Ocon for 10th place. The Aston Martin man remains ahead.

HAMILTON REPORTS THAT HE IS LOSING GRIP
He radios the team saying: “Grip is starting to drop a little bit. Still no dry line. Exit of 8 only.”
LAP 26 – CRUCIAL PART OF THE RACE
The pitstop window is open as we approach this halfway stage of the race. Bottas leads Verstappen.
Leclerc, Perez, Hamilton is the top five.
    BOTTAS HAS A MOMENT
It was looking easy for the Finn up front, but perhaps it is not that straight-forward in the conditions.

    BEST BRIT
Jonny Owen thinks Tyson Fury could be the best British fighter of all time.
🇬🇧 “There’s a good argument to be had of if Fury is the best British fighter of all time. It’s between him & Lewis.”🔥 “There’s not many people, from any era, that you’d pick to beat Tyson Fury in the ring. He’s got everything.”Jonny Owen is full of praise for @Tyson_Fury pic.twitter.com/OVzKmzbN9i— talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) October 10, 2021

    GYPSY KING
What a journey Tyson Fury has been on.

    WHYTE NEXT
Tyson Fury is set to hand Dillian Whyte his long-awaited crack at the WBC heavyweight title after his humdinger with Deontay Wilder, writes CHISANGA MALATA.
Fury, 33, picked himself up off the canvas twice before sealing a thrilling knockout win over old-rival Wilder in their trilogy bout on Saturday night.
And the champ is now mandated to take on the victor of Whyte’s clash with Otto Wallin.
The fight, however, is contingent on Fury being unable to strike a deal to face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed title within 30 days.
But with Anthony Joshua officially exercising his rematch clause with the Ukrainian, the winner of Whyte vs Wallin is now guaranteed the next shot at the undisputed WBC strap.
    FIRE AND FURY
Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder shared an intense staredown in the middle of the ring before their epic trilogy showdown, writes KOSTAS LIANOS.
Fury proved he meant business before facing his bitter rival as he gave Wilder some “crazy eyes” that pierced through the soul of many fans watching from home.
The Bronze Bomber didn’t seem intimidated but boxing enthusiasts didn’t help but feel sorry for the American superstar as they knew the Gypsy King wasn’t going to hold back.
One fan tweeted: “Dunno about Wilder but that stare from Fury made me s**t bricks.”
Another wrote: “[Fury] might have the best crazy eyes during staredowns.”
A third posted: “Fury stare is scary.”

    NO LOVE FROM PARIS
Paris Fury has followed in husband Tyson’s footsteps by landing some blows of her own on Deontay Wilder.
The wife of the Gypsy King couldn’t contain her hatred of the Bronze Bomber after the incredible Las Vegas trilogy showdown.
Having seen her husband win by KO in the 11th round despite himself twice hitting the canvas, Paris, who was ringside for the contest, couldn’t hide her relief.
And speaking to iFL TV, she had a few words for her man’s bitter rival: “Clearly he [Wilder] is a tough man, but he’s not tough enough.
“Three times [in a row] now. Maybe he’ll shut up now, go home and go to bed. I’ll be polite but we don’t want to hear that man’s name again.”
Laughing to camera, Paris, 31, added: “Let him go and do something else, do something else that he’s good at. He’s not good at boxing clearly.”
Fury twice hit the deck during the fourth round of the Sin City contest, and Paris, who looked stunning in a blue dress, revealed how difficult it was to witness.
She said: “It’s no good, it’s not nice to watch. It’s horrible. It’s a horrible, horrible situation.”

    ‘NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED’
Deontay Wilder has broken his silence after another devastating defeat to Tyson Fury.
The American heavyweight lost again to his Brit rival after an eleventh-round KO stoppage.
It came after an epic encounter with FIVE knockdowns, including the Gypsy King being floored twice in the fourth.
And after being taken to hospital for precaution, Wilder has had his say on one of the best heavyweight bouts ever.
He also revealed some of Fury’s tactics in the fight, and how the three-stone weight advantage helped.
The 35-year-old said: “I did my best, but it wasn’t good enough tonight. I’m not sure what happened.
“I knew that he didn’t come in at 277lbs to be a ballet dancer. He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.”

    WILD WEST
Here in Tyson Fury’s third knockdown, showcasing boxing 101 with an expert roll and counter.
Both men had been down at that point, but Fury really stamped his authority on the fight.
He then knocked Wilder out in the next round.

    BALLS OF STEEL
Eddie Hearn was impressed by what he saw as Tyson Fury knocked out Deontay Wilder in one of the greatest nights in heavyweight boxing.
Both men hit the canvas early at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena before Fury sensationally retained his WBC title with a stunning knock-out blow in the 11th round.
And Anthony Joshua’s promoter Hearn could not help but issue a simple salute to the pair after their blockbuster trilogy bout.
He tweeted: “Great fight! Big balls from both!”

    ‘FURY’S JUST BETTER’
Deontay Wilder’s former promoter doubts the Bronze Bomber can ‘come back from two vicious beatings like that’ after he was knocked out by Tyson Fury for the second time.
The Gypsy King scored three knockdowns against the 35-year-old in 11 thrilling rounds on Sunday morning – with the final one closing the show and their rivalry.
And Lou DiBella – who was Wilder’s promoter between 2015 and 2019 – reckons the Alabama native will struggle to return to the ring given the brutal nature of his most recent losses.
The 61-year-old tweeted: “I’m not sure that you can come back from two vicious beatings like that in a row. I don’t think so.”

    SCORES SETTLED
The scorecards for Tyson Fury’s epic trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder have been revealed – with some bizarre results.
Each one rightly had the Brit winning on the cards by the eleventh-round after three knockdowns in the bout.
Dave Moretti had it 95-91, Tim Cheatham closer at 94-92 and Steve Weisfeld at 95-92.
Each scored the third round a 10-8 for Fury after knocking down his opponent early in the fight.
But it turned on its head in the fourth, with the Gypsy King floored TWICE as the American went in for a shock win.
All three put that down as a 10-7 to Wilder, in a huge swing of fortunes to a shocked and wild Vegas crowd.
Fury recovered as he always has throughout his career due to his incredible heart and durability.
He went on to lose just ONE round over the five on each of the judge’s cards, as he ripped back dominance.
But it is round ten that has left fans baffled, after Weisfeld called it a 10-9 round to Fury instead of 10-8 despite a knockdown.

    PUNCH STATS
The CompuBox punch stats revealed Tyson Fury landed 150 punches out of 385 thrown, with an incredible accuracy of 39 per cent.
Deontay Wilder, who had the Brit down two times in round four, threw 355 but only connected with 355, giving him a 20 per cent accuracy.
Fury’s trainer Sugarhill Steward pleaded with the Gypsy King to ‘jab the motherf***er’ in order to offset Wilder’s attacks.
And the WBC champion finished the fight with 36 jabs landing from 117 thrown, with an accuracy of 31 per cent.
Wilder meanwhile, landed with only NINE jabs from the 102 thrown, meaning he connected with just nine per cent.
Fury’s power punching is where the fight was decided, landing with 114 of his 268 attempts, ending with 43 per cent accuracy.
Wilder did land with 63 of the 253 he threw, with an accuracy rate of 25 per cent.

    FURY HAILS VEGAS FANS
Tyson Fury hailed the packed out Las Vegas crowd, who watched his epic trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder.
Amid the travel ban to the US, no Brits were allowed Stateside, usually a fixture in Fury’s recent fights.
But the Gypsy King – who now trains out of Vegas – was still full of praise for those in attendance.
He said: “It was a great atmosphere the fans were amazing and got their money’s worth.
“The Brits couldn’t follow out and we could have sold this out 10 times if they could.”

    WILD TURN OF EVENTS
This is the moment the fight momentarily turned of its head.
Wilder was down in round three and looked in bad trouble – but a short right hand had Tyson Fury hitting the canvas.
It paved the way for a rollercoaster fight.

    KNOCKING EM’ DOWN
Here is a clip of the first knockdown of the fight, in round three from Tyson Fury.
It was a short right uppercut from Fury which sent Deontay Wilder to the canvas for the first time.
But credit to Wilder, who got up, did some damage of his own and pushed right till the 11th-round KO.

    USYK PLAYER
Tyson Fury admitted he has not even given an undisputed title fight with Oleksandr Usyk a thought.
Usyk stunned Anthony Joshua to claim the unified heavyweight titles from the Brit, and they are now due to rematch.
But Fury will have a rest and recovery period before he even thinks about fighting the winner.
He said: “We will see, I have just earned a break, I have been home two weeks in six months so I am going to bask in this victory – I am the big dog in this division.
“One of the heaviest in history at 277lbs. We will just see what tomorrow brings.”
    Credit: Reuters
    WILDER UPDATE
Deontay Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel has confirmed the heavyweight will not stay in hospital overnight.
Wilder was taken as a precautionary in Las Vegas after his round 11 knockout loss to Tyson Fury.
Reporter Dan Rafael tweeted: “Was texting with Wilder manager Shelly Finkel. Said Deontay is OK and won’t be staying overnight at the hospital.”

    ‘HE SHOOK ME’
Gypsy King Tyson Fury revealed he never feared defeat despite being floored TWICE in the fourth round.
After winning, Fury was asked what went through his head at that moment and he replied: “Not a great deal. You going swimming and you’re going to get wet.
“He caught me, he caught me twice in the fourth round. But I was never thinking ‘oh this is over’. I was thinking ‘okay good shot but I will get you back in a minute’ and I did.
“I was very conscious, saw the ref go three…four, and I was always there.
“He shook me, he put me down and that’s boxing and it’s life as well but it’s not how many times you get put down or how many times you lose.
“It’s about how you come back and keep moving forward, like Rocky said you’ve got to keep moving forward in a positive manner and keep fighting.”

    ‘ALL SHE WROTE’
Tyson Fury has cast doubt over Deontay Wilder’s future after their gruelling trilogy and warned: ‘I’ll be surprised if he ever boxes again’.

    FIGHTING TALK
Tyson Fury paid tribute to his trainer SugarHill Steward after sensationally knocking out Deontay Wilder to retain his world heavyweight title.
The Gypsy King landed the decisive punch with just a few minutes of the epic encounter remaining.
The 11th-round knock-out came after both men had hit the canvas earlier in their trilogy bout at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
Speaking in the ring with his hands back on his WBC belt, Fury revealed the magic words Steward said that inspired him to victory.
Fury said: “I need to thank my trainer. At the end there he told me, ‘get your jab working, only the big dogs pull it out late on’.
“It was edge of the seat stuff and could’ve gone either way. SugarHill pushed me to knock him out late.”

    MATCH OF THE DAY
Former England star Gary Lineker has added his voice to praise for Tyson Fury following his victory over Deontay Wilder.
The Match of the Day presenter tweeted: “That’s what you call a great heavyweight fight. Brilliant scrap.
“Congratulations @Tyson_Fury on another superb performance. What a champion.”

    ‘SHADOW REALM’
Deontay Wilder’s former trainer Mark Breland is a hot topic after the American’s loss.
One fan said on Twitter: “Oh and lastly, that violent ending is exactly what Mark Breland saved Wilder from in the last fight.
“That was his job, Wilder fired him for it. Tonight he wasn’t there to save him getting knocked into the shadow realm.”
    MADE HIS MARK
Deontay Wilder has been criticised by some for his decision to sack former trainer Mark Breland after his last fight.
Wilder axed the coach after he threw in the towel in round seven after a pummeling from Tyson Fury in the second of their three bouts.
And some have suggested that Breland would have been just the man to go back to the drawing board and get the Bronze Bomber over the line in this fight.

    PAUL THE OTHER ONE
Jake Paul has had his say on Tyson Fury’s win over Deontay Wilder…

    MUR OF THAT
Andy Murray has asked boxing fans what they would rather see.
He said on Twitter: “Would you rather.
“Fury vs usyk for undisputed and Wilder vs Joshua with winner fighting winner of fury vs usyk or Joshua vs usyk rematch and winner to fight fury?”

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 LIVE RESULTS: UK start time, stream, TV channel, undercard for TONIGHT’s huge fight

FROM the extraordinary ring walk to the explosive stoppage, it was a bravura performance.Tyson Fury was carried into the ring, shoulder high on a throne, in a crown and regal robes, singing along to Patsy Cline’s Crazy.

BETTING SPECIAL: GET 30/1 ON FURY OR 50/1 ON WILDER FOR HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING CLASH
He had told us all week that he’d overpower the heavyweight division’s greatest knock-out artist, Deontay Wilder, but few believed he was capable of winning in the manner he did.
Roared on by thousands of British and Irish fight fans, Fury performed a demolition job Fury so comprehensive that there was little appetite for the trilogy bout in Las Vegas in the early hours of tomorrow.
That re-match – after a thrilling draw in Los Angeles in December 2018 – was almost 20 months ago now, shortly before the global sporting lockdown.
Before that first bout, we had assumed Fury was far too early in his comeback to take on an unbeaten Wilder for the WBC crown. We were wrong.
Before the second bout, we knew he was a far superior boxer but we did not see him piling into the American from the first bell to the surrender of the towel from trainer Mark Breland in the seventh. Wrong again.
Fury says he’ll go for broke again, while Wilder has boasted of his 238lb frame, having been able to bench press 350lbs in training.
Heavy or not, if Wilder can’t box to orders, Fury will reign supreme once again.
Las Vegas once again awaits a titanic clash.

The Gypsy King will no doubt be buzzing with his namesake’s public shoutout.

    NERVOUS ENERGY
Deontay Wilder believes he sensed some nervous energy from Tyson Fury during their socially-distanced face-off last night.
Is the Bronze Bomber right? We’ll find out in a few hours.

    SNEAK PEAK

Here’s the down-low on how this evening’s eagerly-anticipated card will proceed.

    TALE OF THE TAPE
As if you needed reminding, here’s how Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder stack up ahead of their trilogy fight.
How Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder stack up ahead of the trilogy fight
    TYSON 2.0
Mike Tyson has sent a good luck message to Tyson Fury ahead of his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder.
Speaking on Twitter, Iron Mike said: “The eyes of the Gods of war are upon you @Tyson_Fury #FuryWilder3.”
Earlier in the week, Tyson predicted a win for his namesake, explaining: “Deontay Wilder have nothing to be sad about… I just think Tyson Fury has his number.”
    PUNCH PERFECT
Here’s how things looked last time out…

    NO JOSHING
Anthony Joshua has triggered his Oleksandr Usyk rematch clause, Eddie Hearn has revealed.
The promoter said: “Today we officially triggered the rematch for Oleksandr Usyk fight, which we’ll see early next spring.
“Back in the game and we’re looking for him to become three-time world champion.
“A few niggles in camp for AJ, Usyk had a bad cut, it’s officially triggered, we’ll sit down with K2 Promotions and I think March is when you’ll see that fight.
“This was a disappointing loss to a pound-for-pound great.
“We don’t need to get back in the game with 10-rounders, he needs to rip those belts off Usyk.”
    PREDICTIONS
Eddie Hearn: “Fury is a huge favourite but Wilder has the ability to end a fight at any time. It’s heavyweight boxing and that’s why it is so exciting. Fury wins on points.”
David Price: “I’m going to go with another Fury win again. I think it’ll be a sustained beating. I think Wilder will start quick and then Fury will just take over in the mid to late rounds and stop him.”
Oleksandr Usyk: “I don’t think too much about who wins. It will be a good fight. Don’t write Deontay Wilder off since he always has the knockout punch. I am not good at making predictions.”
Dana White: “I think Fury’s too good. I think Fury’s got that number.”

    FIGHTING TALK
Deontay Wilder insists rival Tyson Fury ‘hasn’t seen 100 per cent’ of him ahead of Saturday’s trilogy fight in Las Vegas.
He told 78SPORTSTV: “Tyson Fury gave me the best of him. But he hasn’t seen 100% of me, no-one has.
“I’ve always came in with injuries or something wrong with me. Some say, ‘Well, why did you do that?’ I’m a warrior.
“I’m a king, you’re a peasant. We are not equal.”
    SETTINGS
And here she is! Just glorious. Fury vs Wilder gets underway from 4am BST.

    TAY SAY WHAT?
Deontay Wilder has complained about rival Tyson Fury’s gloves AGAIN ahead of tonight’s trilogy fight in Las Vegas.
Wilder told 78SportsTV: “We had a little situation with the gloves. I already got word of some funny stuff going on in the back of the gloves.
“What happened was Fury’s glove that he’s chosen, which is the same thing he had last time, had little to no padding.
“The rest of it was horse hair, we thought horse hair was illegal and out of the question but they said it was [OK], so we said cool.
“They opened up my glove and my glove padding is at least two to three inches thick.
“His glove looks like they’ve already been used, already folded, bended, like they’ve been thrown in the trash and got back out and say, ‘we’re gonna reuse these’.”
    LENNOX PREDICTS
Lennox Lewis is sitting on the fence with his prediction for Fury vs Wilder 3.
“I’m a bad predictor. It is going to be a fantastic fight,” he said.
“Tyson Fury has a lot more tools and weapons that he can use.
“Deontay went back and learned a couple of tricks he can put to use he’ll have a good time in there as well. So all around it is going to be a good fight.”
    HAVE ZLAT
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has urged Tyson Fury to ‘keep making history’ by smashing Deontay Wilder.
The 40-year-old AC Milan ace posted a video message on social media, saying: “Tyson Fury my friend what’s up. I hope you’re well, I hope the camp went well.
“I hope your family is well and I hope everything is like it should be. I want to wish you big luck even if you don’t need it – you’re on that level
“Keep making history and people admire you, you’re an inspiration for everybody so keep doing what you’re doing and be yourself.
“Do me a favour, just go out there and dance in the ring and do what you have to do. Take the belt home and keep going, keep striving, keep pushing.”
Fury responded on Twitter by saying: “Lions eat first, thank you Zlatan!”
    TALE OF THE TAPE
Here’s how the two fighters are shaping up ahead of their clash.
    Just to add…

    Wilder: 238lbs
    Fury: 277lbs

How Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder stack up ahead of the trilogy fight
    SUGARHILL PREDICTS
“It’s going to be a knockout. Tyson knocks Wilder out,” Steward said.
“That’s what I believed last time and he’ll do it again this time, just in a more electrifying fashion. Everything we’ve been doing, he’s got better.
“He’s learning new things and the object and the goal is to get better. That’s for me and Tyson. I wanted to make Tyson Fury the best Tyson Fury.
“The things we’ve been working on have him on the road to being the best.”
    FURY ROAD
Tyson Fury has vowed to ‘kick the s**’ out of brother Tommy if he loses to Jake Paul.
Their dad Big John told TalkSport: “Tommy is over there [in Las Vegas] giving his support [to Tyson].
“He’s got his own thing that’s going to be going on shortly with this Jake Paul fella.
“Tyson said if Jake Paul beats him, he’s got to change his name because of some stupid stuff – which he should do!
“If he can’t beat Jake Paul I’ll smash him to bits with a bamboo stick myself.
“Tyson, his brother, said ‘right, we’ll kick the s*** out of you as well!’ [if he doesn’t win]. So, no pressure [laughs].”
    AJ PREDICTION
Anthony Joshua is picking Deontay Wilder to cause an upset tonight in Las Vegas.
“Let’s go with Wilder because he seems obsessed, like he really wants it.
“A focused man is a dangerous man, and he’s focused. Wilder might get the decision. Actually, no… it has to be a knockout. One of them will knock the other out.”

    STAR ATTRACTION
A host of star-studded names from Hollywood and sport are set to be ringside to watch Tyson Fury defend his world title against Deontay Wilder.
Silverscreen actors Vince Vaughn, Michael B. Jordan and Michael J. Fox will be ringside.
NBA basketball stars Draymond Green and Damian Lillard will also be there along with disgraced cycling legend Lance Armstrong.
Rappers Fat Joe and Nas, TV star Mario Lopez and chef Wolfgang Puck are also both due to be near the front row for the fight.
Meanwhile boxers Shakur Stevenson and Terence Crawford will be watching their peers settle their differences between the ropes for the last time.

    WEIGH-IN
Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder both weighed in at their heaviest ever weights.
The Brit came in at 19st11lbs – five pounds heavier than in the pair’s second fight.
And at 17st, Deontay Wilder weighed in at a full half a stone heavier than he did in his last bout with Fury.
Fury, known traditionally as a great boxer but not so much for delivering knockouts, promised more of the same after he bulked up to KO Wilder in the seventh round 18 months ago.
The Gypsy King promised his extra weight would mean “total obliteration of a dosser. Total annihilation”.
Fury also mesmerised the crowd by stepping onto the scales in the same hat The Undertaker wears.
The champ was compared to the WWE legend during his first fight with Wilder when he looked to have been knocked out cold but got up to beating the count in the 12th round.
And going into this bout, Fury promised the Deadman that Wilder would “Rest in Peace”.
Wilder meanwhile sacked a member of his team, Mark Breland, for throwing in the towel last time.
But Fury labelled the Bronze Bomber and Breland’s replacement, Malik Scott, “a pack of losers”.
However Wilder claims he has calmed down since the last fight and is confident of victory.

    FIGHTER COMPARISON
It’s pretty fair to say that Fury and Wilder are two completely different fighters.
In years gone by, Wilder has been known for his one-punch knockout power, his ferocious finishes and the mighty torque he gets into his right hands.
He’s often been criticised for his lack of traditional boxing technique, having picked up the sport late in his life, before managing to secure himself an Olympic bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
But Wilder has rarely ever needed boxing technique to get through his fights, boasting an incredible 41 knockouts from his 44 fights.
Fury, on the other hand, has been boxing since he was a child, and is known for his excellent footwork, feinting, double-jabbing and ring IQ.
He outwitted the great Wladimir Klitschko in their world title clash back in 2015 and outboxed Wilder for long periods of their first fight in 2018, though it ended in a draw.
Fury does pack a heavy punch, however, as he showed in his rematch with Wilder, but it’s his boxing which allows him to set up the offensive side of his game.

    THAT’S ALL FROM ANDORRA
England dominated Andorra with a 5-0 triumph at the Estadi Nacional and moved even closer to punching their ticket to the 2022 World Cup.
The Three Lions opened the scoring after just 17 minutes when a long ball by Phil Foden found Jadon Sancho in the penalty area where he switched it back to Ben Chilwell and the Chelsea star beat Josep Gomes with a cool finish.
Referee Kateryna Monzul initially overruled Chilwell’s goal for offside but a VAR check reversed her decision and thus the left-back got his first ever international goal.
But Gareth Southgate’s men weren’t done there as they doubled their lead five minutes before half-time.
Foden delivered another scintillating ball to the box where he found Bukayo Saka down the right side and the Arsenal star beat Gomes with a powerful shot down his tight angle.
England made it three on 59 minutes when a clever cross from Sancho saw Tammy Abraham taking advantage of some slow defending and goalkeeping as he ran away from Ildefons Lima and beat Gomes to the ball with a clever flick.
The Three Lions scored their fourth goal 20 minutes later even though the Andorra keeper blocked James Ward-Prowse’s penalty shot as the Southampton star hit the back of the net on the rebound.
And Jack Grealish scored his first ever England goal after 86 minutes when he picked up a quarter-back-like pass from Sam Johnstone, danced around two defenders and made it five for his national team.
That’s all from us here at SunSport, have a lovely night!

    ABRAHAM REACTS
England star Tammy Abraham revealed he originally wanted to take the penalty before James Ward-Prowse’s goal.
Abraham told ITV: “It’s a good night for me and the boys. We knew it was going to be tough and had to stay focused. Luckily we got an early goal.
“Some things we have done tonight, there’s a lot to be positive about going forward.
“As a striker you always want to take penalties but the gaffer told James [Ward-Prowse] he was on penalties. Hopefully my performance shows I am clearly doing the right things.
“Hopefully I can keep going and keep pushing. For me, I was disappointed to miss out [on Euro 2020] but I am playing every week. It’s a tough squad to get into”

    SOUTHGATE REACTS
England manager Gareth Southgate is pleased that the goals came from Ben Chilwell, Jack Grealish, Bukayo Saka, James Ward-Prowse and Tammy Abraham as they all had a goalscoring duck to overcome.
Sotughate told ITV: “It was a specific sort of challenge: a low, packed defence to break down. We picked a team with players in it who could take that challenge on. You saw that with the link play from midfield especially and I thought the application throughout was excellent.
“We know those diagonal runs from wide – Ben Chilwell made them throughout the game – and with Phil Foden he can hit them as can [James] Ward-Prowse. So it was, could we get between the lines, could we get wide in one-against-one situations? But those diagonal runs in behind were a real threat.
“There were some nice moments there: for Chilwell to get a goal, having had such a tough time in the summer with us, I’m really pleased for him, and Jack’s [Grealish] first goal as well. Tammy [Abraham], Prowsey, Bukayo [Saka]… they all haven’t scored that often for England so a special moment for all of them”

    HOW DO ENGLAND GO THROUGH?
England take on Hungary on Tuesday at Wembley Stadium but they can’t hope to advance to the 2022 World Cup that night.
That is because both Albania and Poland won against the Hungarians and San Marino respectively.
That means the Three Lions need another five points to punch their ticket to Qatar.
Therefore, another two wins will do the trick for Gareth Southgate’s men

    UPDATED TABLE
England remain top of their World Cup qualifying table with four points separating them from second-placed Albania.
Poland are third and five points away from the Three Lions, who are still undefeated.

75 England didn’t get any favours from the plastic pitch but that didn’t stop them from scoring three goals.

    However, Andorra upgraded it!

65 This could turn into a thrashing after Abraham’s goal.
