    Saddle up Ferran Torres
Ferran Torres could be tempted by a move to Barcelona – and not just for the football.
The Manchester City striker is reportedly dating Sira Martinez, the daughter of ex-Barca boss Luis Enrique.
Sira is a professional show-jumper in the Catalan capital and a member of the swanky Barcelona Royal Polo Club.
Spanish outlet EnBlau reports Torres and Sira are conducting a long-distance relationship while he plays in Manchester.
But that could be about to change amid rumours the City striker is wanted at the Nou Camp.
    Tottenham to consider Uefa appeal
Tottenham are threatening to take Uefa to court over their controversial Europa Conference League exit.
The North Londoners were dumped out of the competition after the governing body ruled they forfeited their final group match against Rennes.
Speaking for the first time about their elimination, Spurs boss Antonio Conte said: “There is another step. Now UEFA took this decision but there is another step.
“We are confident that in another step, they will take a normal decision. It was incredible what UEFA did but also the explanation about this defeat, I have read that Tottenham couldn’t play the game for Covid cases.
“Despite this, they took this decision. We are very, very confident for the next step. We deserved to play the qualification on the pitch. Not on the court. I’m very disappointed with UEFA.”
Asked to clarify if he was talking about court action, Conte said: “Yeah. yeah.”
    Arsenal in for Barca’s Coutinho
Arsenal could reportedly be back in for Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian was linked with a switch to the Emirates last year, with Barca keen to get him off their wage bill.
According to Sport, despite the impressive form of Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe, Coutinho remains a target.
They state that Arsenal are ‘working’ towards bringing the ex-Liverpool ace to the Emirates in January.
They would be willing to allow the player to leave on loan, with or without an obligatory purchase option.
    Haard to take for Erling
Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola has hinted the goal machine might stay at Borussia Dortmund in a huge blow to Manchester United.
The shock statement comes just days after the Norwegian sensation appearing to wave goodbye to Dortmund fans.
Raiola told NOS: “Could Haaland wait for Barcelona?
“He can wait for anybody. We don’t have a pre-agreement with any club.
“We’ll look for the best option for him and I can’t rule out another year at Dortmund. Theoretically, that’s still possible.”
    Gianluca Vialli reveals cancer diagnosis
Chelsea icon Gianluca Vialli has revealed he is suffering from cancer for a second time.
The 59-cap former Italy striker played for and managed the Blues, leading them to Cup Winners’ Cup, FA Cup and League Cup success.
Vialli, 57, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2017, however, he was given the all-clear in April 2020.
But Vialli has now heartbreakingly admitted his health problems have returned to haunt him.
Speaking at a London book launch, he said: “I feel good, but my journey is not yet complete. The unwanted guest, as I call it, is still here with me. At this moment I am in maintenance mode.
“The tumour is still there. At times it is more noticeable, at others less so. I will keep fighting because I want to be here for many more years.
“I want you to have to put up with me for a long time to come. I take that strength from my family, friends, and all those who give me such courage. I can’t thank them enough.”
Oldham ban fans for three years
Oldham have reportedly banned three fans for promoting NEGATIVITY about the club.
The supporters have been told they are excluded from first and youth team games for a minimum of three years.
The fans have been warned to stay away from the Latics’ Boundary Park home and any other ground the club is playing at.
The Oldham Times reports one of those caught up in the drastic action is Supporters Foundation director Bradley Knowles.
He has been a vocal critic of owner Abdallah Lemsagam but insisted he had not been part of more disruptive protests in recent months.
He said: “I was furious. I was shaking. I want the Lemsagams gone, but I’m there to support the team. I love this club and I love going to games.
“I’ve said what I needed to say about the ownership. I haven’t run on the pitch, I haven’t thrown tennis balls.
“OASF made it clear that we don’t condone those protests and we won’t be involved in them.”
    Tott of the pops
Tottenham are interested in signing Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet, according to reports.
The cash-strapped LaLiga giants are eager to raise funds as they try and deliver new boss Xavi some January transfers.
The Lilywhites recruited full-back Emerson Royal from Barca back in August.
And according to Spanish paper Sport, they want to raid the Catalan side again.
They claim that Spurs have held a long-term interest in Lenglet, which could be revived next month.
Barcelona are understood to be willing to give him up for the right price, if it means being able to afford their targets.

    Gav some of that
Barcelona wonderkid Gavi earns just £1,600-a-week, according to reports.
The 17-year-old is still on his youth team salary but is reportedly in line for a bumper new deal which will make him a multi-millionaire in no time.
He will also be given a signing on fee of up to £1.7million.
The youngster was given his debut by Ronald Koeman and has continued to develop under new boss Xavi.
His new contract will see him commit his future to the Catalans until 2026, according to ‘Què t’hi jugues’ on Cadena SER.
He pulls in just £85k-a-year at the moment despite having played 21 times in LaLiga and the Champions League this season.

    View to a Kyl
Kylian Mbappe could RETIRE at Paris Saint-Germain – if his cheeky team-mates have anything to do with it.
The Ligue 1 leaders gathered to celebrate the France superstar’s 23rd birthday on Sunday.
And the squad hilariously chipped in to give him a PSG home shirt with ‘Mbappe 2050’ printed on the back.
That would mean the striker staying at the Parcs des Princes for another 29 years.
But reports suggest he is unlikely to remain a PSG player this SUMMER as Real Madrid look set to announce his signature.
The wonderkid is out of contract in the French capital at the end of the season and looks set to move to Spain.

    Heartbreak call for Chelsea’s Musonda
Charly Musonda has revealed that he broke down in tears after deciding to leave Chelsea.
The 25-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge back in 2012 with the Blues having huge hopes for the Belgian.
However, last month he revealed on Instagram that he will become a free agent and leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the season.
Speaking to The Beautiful Game Podcast, Musonda said: “It’s been a difficult one.
“Even the post on Instagram, I wasn’t going to be too emotional with it because I didn’t want to go long into the details and go long into the memories of everything.
“I spoke with Petr Cech in August on the phone and after those talks, I knew straight away, okay, I’m going to leave in August here, there is nothing else I can do.
“After the phone call, I was literally crying because I’d been there for a while. Even now, it’s going to take some time to get around it.”

    Life’s a beach for some
Ronaldinho and Romario show they’ve lost none of the sublime skills as they enjoy themselves at a Rio de Janeiro beach tournament.
The retired stars wowed the crowds and showed their appreciation for each other with high fives and hugs – despite being rivals on the day.
Barcelona legend Ronaldinho, 41, displayed one of his trademark tricks by looking away before trying to surprise the 55-year-old Romario with a kicked-in serve.
Ronaldinho’s team-mate even went down on one knee to hero-worship him after the ex-AC Milan striker set him up for a winning point with a mid-air flick.
But Romario, now a politician in Brazil, had the last laugh as he and his partner took victory in the footvolley match.
The scenic beach setting near Rio’s iconic Copacabana beach was a world away from the Paraguayan prison where Ronaldinho was pictured playing footvolley in March last year.

    Newcastle in for Lyon’s Dembele
Eddie Howe will reportedly look to bring Lyon striker Moussa Dembele to St James’ Park in the New Year.
The Magpies are in need of a new centre-forward to compete with Callum Wilson up top.
Flop club-record singing Joelinton has scored just once in 17 Premier League games this term.
According to the Daily Mail, Dembele is a loan target for the Toon in January.
And Newcastle are also said to be in for Lille centre-back Sven Botman and Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier.
    Chelsea shot down for Marquinhos
Chelsea reportedly had a bid rejected by Paris Saint-Germain in the summer for centre-back Marquinhos.
According to L’Equipe, the Blues saw their £72.5million offer for the Brazilian turned down by Les Parisiens.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were unwilling to negotiate a deal as they declared he was not for sale.
Should Marquinhos have linked up with Chelsea, he would have been reunited with former defensive partner Thiago Silva, who joined the club on a free transfer last year.
    Lew being serious right now?
Chelsea’s forgotten man Lewis Baker could play his second game for the club… almost EIGHT years after his debut.
The Premier League teams voted to continue the season on Monday meaning matches will go ahead as planned.
If sides are able to name 13 outfield players and a goalkeeper, their games must go ahead, even if that means calling up players from the Under-23s.
And with Chelsea’s squad decimated by injuries and Covid cases – at least seven players have tested positive – it could see Baker brought back into the fold.
The midfielder has been on Chelsea’s books since 2005 and made his only senior appearance in the FA Cup way back on January 5, 2014.
Since then, Baker has been a mainstay in the famous loans army out of Stamford Bridge with nine loan spells to the EFL, Holland, Germany and Turkey, making 36 appearances for Trabzonspor last season.

    Out of Luc
Newcastle have reportedly been knocked back in their pursuit of Brazilian star Lucas Paqueta.
The midfielder is under contract at Lyon until 2025 but the French side are willing to cash in now.
Newcastle were allegedly keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
And Toon even offered the 24-year-old a whopping £180,000-a-week wage package to secure his services, it’s claimed.
However, Foot Mercato claims that Paqueta has rejected a switch to Newcastle.
This latest report states that he is happy to stay at Lyon instead and will only consider leaving if a bigger club comes in for him.

    Vit for action
Everton have reportedly agreed a £17million deal for Vitaliy Mykolenko – paving the way for Lucas Digne to depart.
The Toffees have ‘completed negotiations’ with Dynamo Kiev for the Ukrainian international full-back.
And The Mirror also claims that the 22-year-old has already passed a medical at Goodison Park on Friday.
Mykolenko will Everton cost £15m up front, with a further £2m included in the package as add-ons.
His arrival could now signal the end of fan favourite Digne’s time on Merseyside.
The French star is wanted by both Leicester City and Newcastle United.

    Mar to come
Mikel Arteta has gushed over in-form forward Gabriel Martinelli.
Ahead of tonight’s League Cup quarter-final against Sunderland, the Spaniard said: “You cannot play every action at 100mph, it is impossible.
“It is not very efficient for you because you burn yourself out after a few minutes, and then you just chasing a situation and not reading exactly what is needed.
“Gabi is doing much better at that. We have to try to [develop] that without losing the passion, the energy and this capacity he has to just affect the game with the way he acts on the pitch.
“He trains incredibly hard, he is always willing to do more and he is not scared or afraid to take risks, and that is what I like about him.
“I can imagine [playing against him] – you’re not going to have any time on the ball, every time the ball is 50/50 he is going to chase it and he’s going to use his body, his speed, his technical ability to get away from you.
“You have to be careful, because he can attack you one v one, he can attack your back, he can make movements off the ball… he is a real threat in front of goal.”

    Looks Al-right
Manchester United have reportedly made contact with River Plate over signing their super-striker Julian Alvarez.
And the Red Devils could snap him up for just £17million – £4m less than his release clause – if they act fast.
United put in a call to the South American side in the last few weeks, according to Argentine newspaper Ole.
Alvarez, 21, has been in scintillating form – scoring 24 and providing 15 assists in 46 games.
Some of Europe’s biggest clubs are said to be keen on the five-cap Argentina international.
Bayern Munich, Juventus, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid have all been linked.
    Playing the field
Erling Haaland hasn’t ruled out staying at Dortmund next season.
The in-demand striker’s agent Mino Raiola said: “Haaland can wait for everyone.
“We don’t have a pre-agreement with any club.
“We will look for the best option, and I also never ruled out another year at B. Dortmund”.
    New Camp
Barcelona have approved a £1.3billion renovation of the Nou Camp despite the club being in financial crisis.
The Catalan giants’ first ever online vote was held on Sunday as the plan was passed through with 42,693 club members backing the stadium overhaul.
A total of 5,055 voted against the project while 875 abstained. More than 40 per cent of Barcelona’s members chose to have their say in the decision.
The project – which has been titled ‘Espai Barca’ – will be funded by a third-party loan.
And members had vocalised their concerns around the financial aspect of the plan, particularly given the club’s debt already stands at more than £1bn.
This forced president Joan Laporta to call the referendum to push the plan through.
The project is expected to be finished in 2025, with part of the stadium set to be closed for the 2022-23 season.
Then for the 2023-24 campaign Barca will likely have to play elsewhere – potentially at the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic.
    The kids are alright
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has called up TWELVE academy and Under-23 stars to train with the first team, according to reports.
The Blues’ squad has been decimated by injuries and Covid-related absences and the German has had to turn to their youth ranks to make up the numbers.
Teddy Sharman-Lowe, 18, Josh Brooking, 19, Xavier Mbuyamba, 19, Alfie Gilchrist, 18, Dion Rankine, 19, and Xavier Simons, 18, all trained with the available first team squad players on Monday, according to Football London.
As, reportedly, did Lewis Baker, 26, Lewis Hall, 17, Joe Haigh, 18, Harvey Vale, 18, Bryan Fiabema, 18, and Jay Wareham, 18.
    Good morning football fans
Chelsea are on red alert as Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt is ready for a “new step”.
De Ligt is being tracked as a solution to the Blues’ defensive headache as Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen’s contracts expire in June.
De Ligt’s agent Mino Raiola has said his client is ready to look beyond Serie A.
Raiola told NRC: “[De Ligt] is ready for a new step… he thinks that too.”
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed Real Madrid’s interest in Erling Haaland.
Haaland has also been linked with Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Watzke told BILD TV: “No matter where I go, everyone speaks to you about Erling Haaland.
“All I know is a guarantee that Real Madrid are very interested in him. I could name 25 others now.
“But I know for sure, it can be that he leaves, but it can also be that he stays.
“A few days ago I had a very good conversation with Mino Raiola. When we are in a corridor, the conversations are always quite friendly.
“And that phone call was quite friendly. We will certainly have another meeting in the next few weeks.
“The overall development of Haaland is in the foreground.
“Just like with [Robert] Lewandowski, I would like to be proud of Erling at some point if he wins the Champions League.
“Personally, I think it’s good for him if he stays in the Bundesliga a little longer.”
And Newcastle are keeping tabs on both Anthony Martial and Edin Dzeko ahead of the January transfer window, according to SunSport’s Phil Thomas and Duncan Wright.
The Magpies are willing to pay a hefty loan fee of around £6million to tempt United’s Martial to St James’ Park.
The Toon are also eyeing Inter Milan star Dzeko, who scored 50 goals and recorded 24 assists for City in the Premier League.
Finally, Arsenal’s out-of-favour star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is being targeted by Juventus ahead of the January transfer window.
That is according to Tuttosport, who report that Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri is desperate for attacking reinforcements.
And Aubameyang is a serious option after falling out of favour at the Emirates.
A six-month loan deal has been touted, ahead of a possible permanent move in the summer.
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the centre-forward, who now seems destined to leave north London after his latest disciplinary breach, which cost him the captain’s armband
    O-Mi not again
Premier League games could take place behind closed doors once more.
A meeting between Prem clubs decided matches would continue as normal after Christmas despite a rise in positive COVID-19 cases.
According to The Times, fixtures could end up taking place without the presence of fans.
Omicron cases are on the rise and although supporters have carried proof of a negative test or a coronavirus passport to gain admittance, they could soon be blocked from attending if the government steps in.
Fears around a high R figure mean the government could introduce further restrictions.
And if Premier League grounds are needed as makeshift vaccination centres, fans may have to be excluded from live matches for the foreseeable future.
In such a scenario, matches could be shown live on TV, as was the case from Project Restart until the end of last term
    Out of the race
Newcastle have ‘pulled out of the race’ for Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.
That is according to The Athletic, who claim that Lingard has opted to stay and ‘fight for his place’ after interim manager Ralf Rangnick replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
That means the Toon, who have found themselves in a desperate bid to avoid relegation, will have to look for reinforcements elsewhere.
The England international is into the final months of his deal and is also targeted by West Ham
    ‘No pre-agreement’
Borussia Dortmund ace Erling Haaland’s representative Mino Raiola confirmed his client doesn’t have a “pre-agreement” with any of his suitors, including Manchester United.
Raiola told NOS: “Haaland can wait for everyone.
“We don’t have a pre-agreement with any club.
“We will look for the best option, and I also never ruled out another year at Borussia Dortmund”

The coach of the year award goes to the person who has made the biggest contribution to British sport over the last 12 months.
    Jur not pleased
Jurgen Klopp accused Harry Kane of a potential leg-breaking tackle and was astonished that the Spurs superstar was not sent-off.
He said: “It was definitely a red card for Harry Kane.
“You can give Robbo a red card because it was not the smartest challenge but there is no doubt that it was a red for Kane.
“If Robbo’s foot was on the ground it’s a broken leg. It’s pure coincidence that it was in the air and Harry cannot judge that.
“We have VAR sitting there and he thinks to have a look at the Robertson challenge again, which is fine because that is what he is there for.
“But what did he do in the first situation? I thought he might not have been in his office because we all agree that Kane should have been given a red card but the ref saw it differently.”

    Tuch and go
Thomas Tuchel accused Premier League chiefs of failing to protect his players and putting their safety at risk – as Chelsea’s covid cases continued to pile up.
Speaking after the 0-0 draw at Wolves, he said: “We talk a lot about safety and protecting the players. I’m not so sure if we did this today and on we go.
“It will hopefully stop but it’s more or less hoping. If we have the next tests tomorrow and the next positives I would like to speak to the people from the Premier League about what they expect.
“Let’s hope that it stops because there is nothing else to do. Shall we stop and not arrive in the next game if we are made to play?
“When they make us play against Brentford shall we not arrive? Shall we not train anymore? What shall we do?”
    Race row
Former Manchester City captain and Anderlecht manager Vincent Kompany has accused Club Brugge fans of racially abusing him and his players.
He said: “I’m having a hard time with it, I will go home dismayed and disappointed.
“We are here with a lot of people who have given a lot from this country and who just come to play football.”
A Brugge statement added: “The club, its supporters, staff, players, employees and board strongly condemn any form of racism.
“These individuals are not representative of the values and norms of our club.”
    Back line
Matthijs de Ligt is considering leaving Juventus, says super-agent Mino Raiola.
The Dutch defender is a target for Chelsea and has been linked with Man United too.
Raiola, who also represents Paul Pogba, said: “He is ready for a new step… he thinks that too.”
    Tottenham 2 Liverpool 2
A thriller in north London saw the spoils shared between Spurs and Liverpool.
Both sides went ahead in what was a modern-day Premier League classic.
And the visitors ended up playing with 10 men after Andy Robertson saw red.

    Braut of here?
Erling Haaland appeared to signal his Borussia Dortmund exit by WAVING goodbye to fans.
But sporting director Michael Zorc said: “I saw the pictures afterwards too. It looked a bit strange, but I don’t think it was a deliberate action.
“I spoke to him again briefly, and that’s not an issue in the team either.
“‘What is this?’ I asked him. ‘Nothing at all’, he said. That settles the matter.”

    Forward planning
Arsenal are targeting a striker as a top priority in the January window after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s fall from grace at the Emirates.
Alexandre Lacazette is also expected to leave next summer when his deal expires.
Football London’s Chris Wheatley told Sky Sports News the Gunners are eyeing the likes of Lautaro Martinez to ease their striker problem.
Arsenal have also been linked with a big-money move for Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic – but they face a battle with other Premier League giants for his signature.
    Game on
It’s half time in London and Liverpool have come from behind to be drawing 1-1 at Tottenham.
Should the scoreline remain the same, Jurgen Klopp’s men will be three points behind leaders Man City.

    Premier League results
Manchester City thrashed Newcastle with a score of 4-0 at St James’ Park and remained top of the league.
Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling all scored for City, while the Magpies’ relegation scrap continues.
Chelsea and Wolves drew 0-0 at Molineux after the former’s request to postpone the match due to a COVID-19 outbreak within their camp was rejected by the Premier League.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel didn’t have enough players to complete his substitutes list
    Vlahovic record
Fiorentina star striker Dusan Vlahovic has made Serie A history.
Vlahovic netted in today’s 2-2 draw with Sassuolo and matched a record he now shares with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The centre-forward registered 33 Serie A goals in a single year and continues to stand out.
Arsenal and Manchester United are both keeping tabs on the Serbia international
    Tuchel reaction
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wasn’t happy with the Premier League’s decision not to postpone their match with Wolves.
The Blues requested that their game should be called off following a coronavirus outbreak within their ranks.
Tuchel said: “It will not stop, it’s my opinion, it’s the medical opinion but it’s not the opinion of the Premier League.”

    Newcastle 0-2 Man City
Manchester City are 2-0 ahead against struggling Newcastle at St James’ Park.
Ruben Dias opened the scoring after just five minutes to give the hosts’ the lead.
Joao Cancelo doubled City’s lead on 27 minutes during a dominant first half for Pep Guardiola’s men
    ‘Palpable admiration’
Manchester United continue to be heavily linked with Sevilla star Jules Kounde, who is also linked with Chelsea.
That is according to AS, who report that Kounde has ‘palpable’ admiration at Old Trafford.
The same report suggests the Red Devils could move for the centre-back during the upcoming January transfer window.
That would work as a blow for the Blues, who consider the France international as a top target with four defenders’ contracts running out in June
    Newcastle vs Man City
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is in the dugout following a dramatic coronavirus test.
Guardiola’s initial test came back inconclusive and the Catalan head coach had to self-isolate.
But the 50-year-old’s next test came back negative.
Here is how City and Newcastle will play today at St James’ Park

    Wolves vs Chelsea XI
As expected, Chelsea can’t fill up their substitute bench.
The Blues are dealing with a coronavirus outbreak and wanted the match postponed.
But the Premier League ordered the fixture to go ahead.
Here’s how the two teams will play tonight:

    Racism incident
A Leeds supporter has been arrested for allegedly racially abusing Arsenal players during last night’s clash at Elland Road.
According to The Athletic, a fan targeted the Gunners’ Nicolas Pepe and Nuno Tavares with racial slurs.
The incident is said to have happened while the north Londoners’ duo were warming up near the corner in the first-half
    Chelsea COVID situation
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel announced on Thursday that Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku were all confirmed to have contracted coronavirus and are self-isolating.
According to football.london, there have been further positive test results within the Blues’ ranks in the past 24 hours.
As a result, it’s highly unlikely the west Londoners are able to fill their substitutes’ bench for tonight’s game with Wolves.
Reports suggest those within the first team are “frustrated and perplexed” with the Premier League’s decision not to postpone the fixture
    Wolves VS Chelsea
Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Wolves at the Molineux is set to go ahead.
According to the Telegraph, the Premier League have rejected the Blues’ request to postpone the game.
The west Londoners are reportedly dealing with some new COVID-19 cases within their camp
    More from the Premier League
“The Board assesses applications to postpone matches on a case-by-case basis, based on existing rules and COVID-19 postponement guidance issued to all clubs.
“It will assess a number of factors, including the ability of a club to field a team; the status, severity and potential impact of the COVID-19 outbreak at the club; and the ability of the players to safely prepare for and play the match. The Board must also consider the wider risks to the opposition and other people the club representatives may come into contact with.
“With the health and wellbeing of all players and staff the priority, and in light of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Premier League has reintroduced Emergency Measures.
“These include protocols such as more frequent testing, wearing face coverings while indoors, observing social distancing and limiting treatment time”
    Premier League reaction
Arsenal’s clash with Leeds was the only Premier League match that wasn’t postponed as six out of 10 games have ben called off this weekend.
The Premier League shared the following statement: “Due to more positive cases in the Aston Villa squad today, the Premier League Board has regrettably had to postpone the club’s home fixture against Burnley, due to kick off at 15:00 GMT this afternoon.
“After reviewing all the new information provided by Villa this morning and receiving separate medical advice, the Board approved the request as a result of the club not having enough players to field a team.
“This decision was based on the number of COVID-19 cases, injuries and illness.
“The League understands the decision to postpone the match at such short notice will frustrate and disappoint supporters, and apologises for the inconvenience and disruption caused.
“The remaining four Premier League matches due to be played this weekend are currently scheduled to proceed as planned”

LIVERPOOL head to Tottenham for a Premier League game that will go ahead despite the current Covid crisis.Spurs haven’t played for two weeks since an outbreak at their training ground forced them to miss two Premier League games and almost certainly get knocked out of the Europa Conference League after being unable to name a team against Rennes.
But Liverpool are still in excellent form and beat Newcastle 3-1 on Thursday night to move closer to top of the table Manchester City.

    City set the bar again
The full time whistle has just been blown in the Premier League’s early kick-offs, and Manchester City have once more laid down a marker for Liverpool to follow.
Pep Guardiola’s league leaders demolished Newcastle United at St James’ Park to move four points clear of Jurgen Klopp’s men as it stands.
Meanwhile, Chelsea stuttered yet again, and it now has to be asked whether this exciting three-horse race for the Premier League title actually only contains two clubs.

    Newcastle 0-4 Man City
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea

    Two teenagers among Liverpool subs
    62 Kelleher, 9 Firmino, 12 Gomez, 15 Oxlade-Chamberlain, 18 Minamino, 21 Tsimikas, 49 Gordon, 76 Williams, 78 Quansah
Spurs bench – Sergio Reguilon returns
    40 Austin, 2 Doherty, 3 Reguilon, 14 Rodon, 18 Lo Celso, 23 Bergwijn, 25 Tanganga, 27 Lucas Moura, 29 Skipp
    And the Liverpool starting XI
Which includes a Premier League debut for 19-year-old Tyler Morton. The teenager is one of three changes as Jurgen Klopp is also forced to change his midfield. James Milner and Naby Keita also come into the team as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson (cold) and Thiago (Covid) miss out.
    1 Alisson; 66 Alexander-Arnold, 32 Matip, 5 Konate, 26 Robertson; 80 Morton, 8 Keita, 7 Milner; 11 Salah, 20 Jota, 10 Mane

    Here’s how Tottenham line up
It may have been a fortnight since their last game, but Antonio Conte still makes five changes to the last Spurs side he put out – including his entire midfield four. Emerson Royal, Tanguy Ndombele, Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon come in with Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp and Sergio Reguilon dropping to the bench while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg misses out entirely. Elsewhere, Dele Alli returns in place of Lucas Moura for his first start since the North London derby in September; it’s Sessegnon’s first Premier League start since January 2020.
    1 Lloris; 6 Sanchez, 15 Dier, 33 Davies; 12 Emerson, 8 Winks, 28 Ndombele, 19 Sessegnon; 20 Alli, 7 Son; 10 Kane

    Reds feeling festive for December
They say it’s the most wonderful time of year, and that certainly seems to be the case if you’re a Liverpool fan.
The Reds have once again been in the sparkling form in the run-up to Christmas, and it’s now five years since they lost a Premier League game in December.
Jurgen Klopp’s team are unbeaten in their last 34 Premier League games in the month of December, ever since a 4-3 loss at Bournemouth in 2016. It’s the longest unbeaten run any side has had in a specific month in the competition.
    Thiago tests positive for Covid-19
Midfielder Thiago Alcantara is absent from the Liverpool squad this afternoon having returned a positive coronavirus test.
The Spaniard will now following Virgil van Dijk, Curtis Jones and Fabinho in undertaking a period of self-isolation.
Jordan Henderson is also said to be out of today’s game through illness although his situation is not related to Covid-19 with the Liverpool captain having registered a negative test result.
    Conte easing in Covid cases
Tottenham are unbeaten in the Premier League since Antonio Conte took over in North London, but the Italian has had his work cut out in his preparation for today’s fixture.
Conte admitted the club had a ‘big problem’ when due to face Rennes in the Europa Conference earlier this month, and he has had to approach training differently in order to ensure their safe return.
“We had nine players and seven staff out with Covid. You can’t give these players the same work as the other players, otherwise you risk injury. We would like to pick the best players, but you have to understand that they need time to be fit. It would be a disaster for us if they got injured.“

    Reds odds-on for victory
They’ve won eight games in a row and their last six against Spurs so it’s no surprise that the bookies have made Liverpool odds-on favourites for another three points this afternoon.
The match is as priced up are as follows:

    Tottenham win 15/4
    Draw 3/1
    Liverpool win 3/4

Odds from Betfair correct at the time of posting.
    Tottenham take on Liverpool
Good afternoon and welcome to London for our live coverage of Tottenham Hotspur versus Liverpool in the Premier League.
The second-placed Merseysiders arrive in N17 in red-hot form, having won their last eight games in all competitions, and eager to add to their sensational recent record against Spurs.
Magnificent Mohamed Salah has been integral to Liverpool’s dominance this season, and is now on the verge of history. The Egyptian has either scored or assisted in his side’s last 15 league games, equalling the competition’s longest such run set by Jamie Vardy in 2015.
However, the Reds are short of numbers in more defensive areas with Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho and Curtis Jones still absent following their positive coronavirus tests.
Rusty or refreshed? That’s the question Tottenham fans will be asking of their squad after a two-week break from playing due to games against Leicester, Brighton and Rennes being postponed in the wake of multiple cases of Covid-19 at the club.
They’ll certainly be hoping the rest will have revitalised Harry Kane. The striker has yet to score a Premier League goal in front of his home fans this season, and has managed just one in total.
We’re all set for a 4.30pm kick-off in the capital, and we’ll shortly have the all-important team news as part of our pre-match build-up.

Wolves 0 Chelsea 0 LIVE REACTION: Tuchel’s depleted side held as Blues drop back in Premier League title race

COVID-HIT Chelsea were unable to break down Wolves at Molineux. Daniel Podence tapped the ball into the net from Marcal’s cross early on but the goal was ruled out by VAR for offside.
Minutes later, Wolves were even more aggrieved as the ball struck N’Golo Kante’s arm when Podence would have otherwise been through on goal.
Christian Pulisic went closest in the second half, but Chelsea couldn’t find a winner and are now six points behind leaders Man City who won at Newcastle.
Follow ALL the latest with our live blog below…

Final score – Wolves 0-0 Chelsea

The spoils are shared at Molineux
We ended the game with how it started by both side’s defences staying firm.

Full time – Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
Another goalless draw between these two clubs for the second consecutive game running and although it got a little more exciting towards the end, on a whole, it was quite a disappointing spectacle.
But one thing for certain is that Bruno Lage will be happier of the two managers.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Shot blocked Kante!
90+3. Blues skipper Cesar Azpilicueta did well to direct a searching ball to the feet of N’Golo Kante but instead of the Frenchman to find someone in a better position, he went for glory.
And Conor Coady yet again go himself in the way to surely rescue a point for Wolves.
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Danger!
90+2. N’Golo Kante played a lovely ball over the top to Mason Mount who almost found a blue shirt in the Wolves box.
But guess came running out of the goal to come and clean up?
    Jose Sa.
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    90. The visitors are literally throwing the kitchen sink at Wolves now and the hosts have everyone back defending.
    It’s attack vs defence.
Three minutes of additional time has been added on
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Chance Rudiger!
    87. With Antonio Rudiger’s fine form this season, you would have put your house on the German international to make the net buldge.
But his header painfully goes wide.
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    86. Marcos Alonso has just earned his side a corner and the Blues have decided to push a number of bodies forward for this one.
    This is getting intriguing.
    Mr captain fantastic Cesar Azpilicueta
Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta urging his team forward and demanding that they push for the winner in these last stages of the game.

    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    81. Oooo that is great feet from Christian Pulisic there to carve out an opportunity for himself.
But the American was unable to finish his dinner.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Wolves sub
    79. Bruno Lage has seen enough and has decided to inject some pace up-front for his side in the closing stages of the second half.

    Daniel Podence – OFF
    Adama Traore – ON

Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Big big save Sa!
    78. Spanish international Marcos Alonso sensationally picked out Christian Pulisic who found himself in acres of space behind the Wolves back-line.
Then all the American had to do was stay composed and pick his spote but Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa stayed big and kept Pulisic’ shot out.
    Wow, incredible.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Great block!
    77. This time it was Mason Mount trying to turn provider but for World Cup winner N’Golo Kante.
However Conor Coady threw himself in front of the Frenchman’s shot denying Kante of a goal on his return to first team action.
I think Chelsea have heard about the news in Manchester so they have started to pick up the pace.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Offside again!
    74. Mateo Kovacic done what he does best by driving with ball forward through the middle of the park.
But by the time the Croatian finally decided to release the ball to Mason Mount, the English young starlet wandered offside.
    In other Premier League news
There is less than 20 minutes to go in Wolves vs Chelsea and the deadlock is yet to be broken.
Whereas Manchester City are getting the job done over Newcastle United and if it stays like this, Thomas Tuchel’s men will fall even further behind in the title race.
    Credit: @ManCity
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Nearly!
    69. Ki-Jana Hoever beat a couple men before directing a beautiful ball across the box which would be any strikers dream.
But neither Raul Jimenez or Daniel Podence were able to read what the right winger was trying to do so it was easily intercepted.
    That’s more like it though.
    Mist at the Molineux Stadium
This could be the reason as to why the players aren’t being able to produce any magic.
    Maybe they can barely see.

Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Chelsea sub
    65. I think Thomas Tuchel has realised the game needs to be freshened up so the German has decided to drag off Hakim Ziyech who has been anonymous today, for Mateo Kovacic.

    Hakim Ziyech – OFF
    Mateo Kovacic – ON

    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    63. Ladies and gentleman I will be totally honest with you, neither team are looking as if they are going to score right now.
There seems to be no urgency in the play.
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    59. The game is becoming very stop start now.
David Coote has had to blow his whistle at least three times in the last couple of minutes due to both players committing silly fouls.
Wolves are still doing well in stopping the Blues playing their game but it needs one moment of magic to bring this game to life.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea – Stay onside Alonso!
    56. The Blues took a quick throw-in which caught Wolves sleeping a little which then led to Hakim Ziyech carving out a pass finding the dashing Marcus Alonso.
But the Spaniard mistimed his run otherwise he would have been in for a huge chance.
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    53. The visitors are slowly beginning to take control of possession again despite Wolves’ start to the second half.
However, there hasn’t been nothing entirely threatening on either goal so far.
This game needs a goal to wake it up.
    Edouard Mendy the dragon within
Yes ladies and gentleman, it really is that cold in the midlands.

    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    48. Well read by Thiago Silva as the Brazilian thumps the ball away from goal using his head.
That is what Chelsea paid the big bucks for because that was a teasing cross.
    Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
    47. This time, it is the hosts who have gone all guns blazing from the whistle.
Fernando Marcal found Daniel Podence with a scrumptious through-ball but then the Portuguese attacker saw his pass get deflected out for a corner.
    Joao Moutinho Neves steps up.

    LOGAN REACTS
Jake Paul’s brother Logan had only one question after his sibling’s victory.
He wondered how many people knock out opponents the way The Problem Child does, even though he has yet to face professional boxers.
    More below:

    ‘As real as it gets’
Jake Paul couldn’t contain his happiness after beating Tyron Woodley in the sixth round
Paul said in his post-fight interview: “This is as real as it gets.

“I told you I was gonna f**k him up and I f**ked him up”
    ‘Not done’
Tyron Woodley insists his fighting days aren’t over despite his knockout loss to Jake Paul.
Woodley said: “I’m not done. Please do not look at me with sorrow eyes or look at me and shake your head.
“I done f**ked a lot of people up.
“A lot of people up had to have that talk in the locker room a lot of coaches had to had to go back to the drawing board, a lot of people, in their minds, they knew that they knew and I saw it in their faces and it broke their hearts when I took that from them”
    ‘Gone viral’
Jake Paul insists he’s done more than enough to be considered a legitimate boxer, despite the fact he’s yet to face a real pugilist.
Paul said: “I’ve done more than enough. For massive fights in 13 months. No one in the history of boxing has done what I’ve done at this age.
“Massive pay-per-views, knocked out every single person that I’ve ever fought. The only person that’s as active as me doing as big pay-per-views as Canelo.

    Paul Over
Jake Paul brutally knocked out Tyron Woodley in their rematch.
In round six of a fight that was shaping up to be a borefest, Paul landed a huge right hook to close the show.
The Problem Child set the finishing shot up with a fake to the body and came around the side with a right hook.
It landed bang on the button and put Woodley away, ending the rematch in devastating fashion

    GETTY IMAGES
    Mas be next
Jake Paul called out Nate Diaz as well as Jorge Masvidal and promised to ‘f*** them up’ following his brutal knockout of Tyron Woodley.
Paul said: “Masvidal and Nate Diaz, y’all are some bitches for leaving this arena.
“Because I know you don’t want that s***. I’ll take out both of y’all next. Just get out of your contracts with daddy Dana [White] and I’mma f*** them up too.
“Anyone, anytime, any place. It’s every fucking day, bro”
    Scores on the doors
Jake Paul led on all three judges’ scorecards, before his knockout victory over Tyron Woodley.

    Woodley respect
Jake Paul praised Tyron Woodley after his victory last night.
Paul said: “This is as real as it f***ing gets, just like my right hand. I told you I was going to f*** him up and I f***ed him up.

“He’s warrior, that was a tough fight right there, he’s a legend”
    Fur real?
Jake Paul addressed the media after his fight with Tyron Woodley and claimed Tommy Fury was ‘lucky’ he pulled out of their scheduled bout.
Paul said: “And I’m ready to fight whoever.
    “It doesn’t matter if they’re a professional boxer or a five-time UFC champion. I don’t care.
“I’m really built for this. And no matter what I’m gonna get the job done.
“And that’s what I showed tonight.
“And Tommy Fury is lucky he wasn’t in there tonight. Because Tyron’s way tougher, he has that experience”
    GETTY IMAGES
Why was Nate Diaz in the arena?
Nate Diaz has only one fight left on his UFC deal and was at the arena to watch his team-mate Chris Avila, 28, beat Paul’s former sparring partner Anthony Taylor, 32 on the undercard.
Only Irish superstar Conor McGregor, 33, received the the green light to venture outside his deal, and lost to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 44, in 2017.
    Mas be next?
UFC stars Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz were in the arena at Tampa last night.
A fact which was not lost on Paul in his post-fight interview.
Paul said: “Masvidal and Nate Diaz, y’all are some bitches for leaving this arena.
“Because I know you don’t want that s***. I’ll take out both of y’all next. Just get out of your contracts with daddy Dana [White] and I’mma f*** them up too.”
    Judges scorecards
Jake Paul was ahead of ALL three of the judges scorecards.
James O’Connor had him up 48-46, giving Woodley the third round and fifth round, with the first a 10-10. While Michael Ross had it at 49-46, having also given the third to T-Wood.
Efrain Lebron scored it 49-46, but gave Woodley the first round rather than the third.
    Greatest hit
Jake Paul has called his stunning knockout of Tyron Woodley the greatest moment of his life.
An elated Paul said: “It’s gotta be the greatest moment of my life; look at the year I just had… unprecedented.
“One of the most valuable boxers in the sport.
“Four fights, four massive pay-per-views in 13 months. I’ve knocked out every single person that I’ve fought.”
    Who’s next for Jake Paul?
Jorge Masvidal? Nate Diaz? Tommy Fury?
Jake Paul mentioned all of them in his post-fight rant…
    Tommy trolled
Jake Paul has taken yet another shot at Tommy Fury, who was forced to withdraw from their grudge match due to illness and injury.
He said: “I’m ready to fight whoever. It doesn’t matter if they’re a professional boxer or a five-time UFC champion.
“I don’t care, I’m really built for this.
“And no natter what I’m gonna get the job done. And that’s what I showed tonight.
“And Tommy Fury is lucky he wasn’t in there tonight. Because Tyron’s way tougher, he has that experience.
“Tommy probably would’ve looked a lot worse and that was pretty bad.”

    ‘Gone viral’
Jake Paul insists he’s done more than enough to be considered a legitimate boxer, despite the fact he’s yet to face a real pugilist.
He said: “I’ve done more than enough. For massive fights in 13 months. No one in the history of boxing has done what I’ve done at this age.
“Massive pay-per-views, knocked out every single person that I’ve ever fought. The only person that’s as active as me doing as big pay-per-views as Canelo.
“Like I said, I’ve knocked out everyone I’ve fought, turned them into memes. That s***s gone viral all over the internet.”
    Woodley’s regret
Tyron Woodley has lamented his dropping of his left hand seconds before he was put to sleep by Jake Paul.
He said: “I went back and I looked at it and I’m like, ‘Why the f**k did I drop my hand?’ I had both hands up. I was great.
“I knew it was coming. I was ready to block the overhand. I don’t know why he delayed it.
“Even if he didn’t delay it, I don’t know why I dropped my hand. In this sport, it only takes one mistake. Literally one mistake. I blocked so many shots.”

    ‘Not done’
Former UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley insists his fighting days aren’t over – despite his brutal loss to Jake Paul.
He said: “I’m not done. Please do not look at me with sorrow eyes or look at me and shake your head.
“I done f**ked a lot of people up.
“A lot of people up had to have that talk in the locker room a lot of coaches had to had to go back to the drawing board, a lot of people, in their minds, they knew that they knew and I saw it in their faces and it broke their hearts when I took that from them.”
    ‘Greatest moment of my life’
Jake Paul called his sensational stoppage victory over Tyron Woodley the ‘greatest moment of my life’ just moments after flatlining the former UFC welterweight champion.
An elated Paul said: “It’s gotta be the greatest moment of my life; look at the year I just had… unprecedented.
“One of the most valuable boxers in the sport.
“Four fights, four massive pay-per-views in 13 months. I’ve knocked out every single person that I’ve fought.”

    Paul reacts on social media
Jake Paul reacted to his stunning KO of Tyron Woodley with a short and concise tweet, which quickly started doing the rounds.
Along with a collection of photos of the KO, The Problem Child wrote: ‘BING BONG.”

    Face plant
In 27 professional mixed martial arts fights, Tyron Woodley has never been flatlined in the manner in which Jake Paul shut off his lights.
Former Strikeforce welterweight champ Nate Marquardt stopped him in 2012, but that stoppage was an accumulation of strikes.
This one-hitter-quitter from Paul, however, was something completely different.

Cut up – Warning graphic image below
Jake Paul suffered a nasty, nasty cut on his head during his rematch with Tyron Woodley.
An accidental elbow from The Chosen One as he attempted to block a left hook opened Paul up in the second round.
Brother Logan inspected the cut after the fight and told his sibling he was ‘fine’.
But judging from the video, his forehead is most definitely ‘not fine’.

    FIRED UP
Jake Paul was on cloud nine after sensationally stopping former UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley.
But he was quick to give the fallen Chosen One respect for his efforts.
He said: “This guy is a legend. Don’t take anything away from his career as a UFC champion and respect him for taking the fight on two weeks’ notice because Tommy Fury is a b***h.
“He backed out of the fight. This a real fighter, a real dog and a warrior. This guy is a tough fighter right there – legend.”
He added: “It was a tough fight. The blood was getting in my eye from when he elbowed me.
“He was throwing me on the ground – dirty headbutt. But it is what it is. I got the job done and I knew it would happen like that.
“I was setting it up the whole fight. He didn’t see that s**t coming. He was catching, catching. Come around. Good morning.”

    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 12
Just brilliant action to finish an unbelievable fight.
Chisora doesn’t give up, he continues to land at will, while Parker comes back with everything he’s got as well.
Parker attempts more uppercuts but to no avail, Chisora ties him up and smashes in a left hook of his own.
They both make it to the end of the fight.
    Scorecards coming up!
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 11
Parker and Chisora tie up and look to be tiring but the former lands a huge uppercut which his opponent takes like it’s nothing.
Chisora continues to come forward and lands a stabbing jab to Parker, who comes back with a straight right hand.
Chisora then lands body shots on the ropes before backing up and landing an uppercut.
Parker tiring in there, it doesn’t look like he’s going to get the stoppage he craved here tonight.
12th and final round coming up.
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 10
How is Chisora still in there?
He’s taken his fair share of shots tonight and trainer Dave Coldwell doesn’t look like his fighter about stopping proceedings.
It doesn’t look like he can win, but Del Boy continues to throw along the ropes, cuffing Parker with right hands.
Parker with the more accurate work.
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 9
Parker looks for his fourth knockdown of the fight, winging in more massive uppercuts along the ropes.
But Chisora comes back with more of the same burst of attacks he’s shown previously in the fight and his career.
Chisora then goes for a massive overhand right and stumbles into the ropes before Parker ties him up.
    Chisora survives again.
Parker KNOCKS DOWN Chisora – Round 8
And again! Parker drops Chisora, who heads to the corner and welcomes an attack!
Chisora survives again! Unbelievable resolve from Del Boy.
    It’s the uppercuts from Parker.
Parker KNOCKS DOWN Chisora – Round 7
    Unbelievable action again!
Parker lands a HUGE right hand and it knocks Chisora to the canvas.
But just like last time, Chisora gets up and finishes the round strongly, landing huge right hands on Parker against the ropes.
    Massive round.
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 6
More precision punching from Parker in the sixth, but Chisora takes them all on the chin like it’s nobody’s business.
Del Boy then comes forward and launches an attack up against the ropes but Parker holds his man off and digs in the uppercuts.
Chisora’s done so well to get himself back into the fight after the trouble he endured in round three and four.
And now it’s Parker who has to dig deep and find something extra.
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 5
Chisora looks refreshed in there while Parker continues to try and land damaging punches.
He came close to the stoppage in the fourth but has seriously lagged off in the fifth, allowing Chisora to come back into it.
Parker comes back with vicious uppercuts but they’re not as powerful as the shot he put his opponent down with in the fifth.
    More brilliant action from both.
Parker KNOCKS DOWN Chisora – Round 4
Huge shots from Joseph Parker, who lands a big right uppercut and puts Chisora down!
Chisora then heads to the corner and welcomes an attack, but Parker is weary and doesn’t want to walk onto something himself.
Parker then responds with an attack of his own and screams in Parker’s face!
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 3
Parker a little more cautious to start things off while Chisora comes forward again with big overhand rights.
The New Zealander lands a cracking right uppercut and unloads on Chisora, who comes forward with a huge right hand – missing wildly.
Parker is already sensing a finish here, unloading huge punches along the ropes, but Chisora survives the onslaught.
Chisora comes back with an attack of his own but Parker has been almost punch-perfect so far!
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 2
Del Boy comes out for the second with much more intensity and immediately lands a big right hand.
Parker comes back and decides to go hell for leather himself, something Chisora responds to in kind.
Chisora then takes a massive uppercut from Parker but Chisora marches forward like usual, taking everything in his stride.
Both then resort to some in-fighting on the ropes. The fight has really come alive now.
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 1
Chisora comes out with a more cautious approach but absolutely WINGS in a huge overhand right which misses Parker’s chin by whiskers.
Parker responds by cracking Chisora with a big right hand before both tie up against the ropes.
Crowd going nuts for Chisora but Parker has made a very solid start here in Manchester.
    1-0 Parker.
    Chisora vs Parker 2 – Round 1
    Here we go!
    Ring-walks on NOW

    That looked pretty painful
Cullen simply could not recover from that body shot in the sixth.
    Ouch.
    Credit: DAZN
    Sadj-oh no!
Cullen’s entire left flank of ribs rippled with the impact of the blow.
The Englishman was robbed of all of his oxygen and probably has a couple of broken ribs.
Sadjo boxed expertly for a smaller man tasked wioth cutting a huge height and reach disadvantage.
Let’s hope Cullen bounces back soon.
Cullen vs Sadjo – Round 6 – Sadjo wins!
The brilliant Frenchman smashes a hammer of a shot into Jack Cullen’s long torso and he collapses into a broken heap.
The Englishman beats the count but the referee waved it off as Cullen is hurt.
Sadjo enrages the crowd by celebrating and then doing press ups to showboat.
Cullen is back up and recovered but violently beaten.
Cullen vs Sadjo – Round 6
Cullen waits until the end of the fifth to finally get his jab fizzing.
Team Cullen tell him he is making it hard for himself.
And he needs to kep his left hand up hight to guard his chin from Sadjo’s looping right hands.
Sadjo lands an instant right hand before the bell has even stopped ringing – terrible defence from the Brit.
Cullen vs Sadjo – Round 5
Cullen jabs and hooks as soon as the rounds starts.
Then he fires three digs into Sadjo’s guard before the Frenchman barrels forwards again.
None of Cullen’s shots seem to be denting Sadjo but Cullen has definitely been buzzed by the late replacement opposition.

Jake Paul was brimming with confidence after facing Tyron Woodley down during Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins.
He roared: “I said it’s fucking Go Mode.
“A different Jake Paul you’re gonna see this time, we’re f**king bucking in the middle of the ring, no more funny sh*t, no funny sh*t like last time, I’m f**kin’ him up! I’m f**kin’ him up!

    “2 days.”

    Jake Paul’s pre-fight diet
Paul looks in fantastic shape for his rematch with Woodley later on.
Just take a look below at what he’s been feasting on in preparation.
Jake Paul is cutting no corners with his diet
    Paul mocks Fury with t-shirt
Jake Paul had some fun at the weigh-in yesterday in Tampa, wearing a t-shirt which took aim at Tommy Fury.
The t-shirt read: ‘Tommy, this could’ve been you’ with an arrow point in the direction of Woodley, stood to his left.

    Paul gifts Woodley a ROLEX
In one of the more bizarre turnouts of the week, Jake Paul gifted Tyron Woodley a ROLEX during their head-to-head for Showtime earlier this week.
Paul said: He said: “As a gift of respect because it’s time for me to knock him out”, as he handed Woodley a wrapped present.
Woodley opened it up and was surprised to see a Rolex waiting for him.
Woodley responded: “I accept your gift. And all the bonuses, I accept it all. And I’m going to do the same thing on Saturday.
“This dude is crazy. Do I know about this watch? Yeah I know about this watch.
“Why wouldn’t I accept it? He put a bow on it and wrapped it, I’m not going to be disrespectful.
“I haven’t had an opponent do a lot of s*** that this dude do. Mentally, it’s warfare because you never know what to expect out of him.”
    Credit: SHOWTIME
Why did Tommy Fury pull out?
“I am absolutely heartbroken that I have been forced to withdraw from my fight with Jake Paul due to a bacterial chest infection and broken rib.
“The beginning of my camp was going so incredibly and I never expected anything to come in my way from a victory on December 18.
“I can’t express now disappointed I am and I really do hope we can get this fight rescheduled in the new year.
“I want this fight to happen more than anything.”
Woodley has said: “I feel like I won the [first] fight.
“But when I go back out there and beat his a** and win this fight, win by knockout, then go on to a trilogy and do it again and leave no doubt.
“That’s the real leave no doubt… This is basically what I should have done the first time. The third time [there] will be no doubt.”

    Tale of the tape
Here’s how both fighters stack up ahead of their huge rematch later tonight.

How to watch Paul vs Woodley 2
Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 will be broadcast live on Showtime PPV in the US.
FITE.TV have exclusive rights in the UK and will be showing the fight on their PPV service for around £18.
The show is set to start at 2am GMT.
The main event is due to begin at 4.30am GMT.
    Good evening!
Hello there and welcome to SunSport’s live coverage of Jake Paul’s huge cruiserweight rematch with Tyron Woodley this evening in Tampa, Florida.
Paul had originally been scheduled to take on influencer-cum-boxer foe Tommy Fury but the Love Island star backed out of the clash with injury.
So Woodley, who lost via split decision back in August, has stepped in on late notice, and is gunning for revenge.
Woodley rocked Paul to his boots in the fourth round of their bout four months ago but failed to capitalise and ultimately succumbed to the judges scorecards.
This time, the former UFC fighter is coming for war – but so is Paul.
“I’M F***ING HIM UP, I’M F***ING HIM UP!,” Paul told Showtime’s Ariel Helwani at the weigh-in yesterday.
Elsewhere on the card, former NBA star Deion Williams is up against ex-NFL start Frank Gore, while female fighter Amanda Serrano is also in action.
Usual Jake Paul undercard suspects J’Leon Love and Anthony Taylor, who lost to Fury back in August, are on the bill too.
It should be a cracking night of action, so sit back, relax, set your alarms and don’t miss it.
We’ve got you covered through the night.
