      ‘I don’t know what is coming tomorrow’
      When speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Tuchel spoke about the current situation at Chelsea and said:
      “Let’s see if it stays like this. If it does, I don’t know. We take it day by day. I didn’t see that coming yesterday and I don’t know what is coming tomorrow.
      “Everybody can be very sure that we focus on us, to keep the attitude and the mentality right on the training ground and within the team.
      “So far we can trust each other and this will not change. As long as we have enough shirts and a bus to drive to the games we will be there and will compete hard.”

      When speaking to PLP, Smith said:
      “There’s such a contrast between the two halves which disappoints me.
      “It doesn’t help when you give a goal from a corner away after three minutes. It was a poor goal and they won three or four first contacts from set-pieces in the first half.
      “In the second half I thought we were excellent. It is tough. We had it the other week with Liverpool.
      “We have to take each game as it comes try to take each point from it.
      “We’re aware it’s difficult for us. We have to go all out and get points in every game.
      “I’d have liked to have seen a performance like the one we had in the second half in the first half.”

      When speaking to PLP, Mount said:
      “It’s nice when it comes in the first half because you can relax a little bit.
      “It was very similar to the goal I scored here a few years ago.
      “We talked about the cut-backs that would be available. Luckily I hit the target and scored. I rushed the volley which I should have scored!
      “There’s a lot going on. Us as professionals we have to focus on our game. We have to let that try and speak and we did that today.
      “We had that dip through December-January time and we asked ourselves how we let that happen.
      “We wanted to get back to playing the football we know we can and hopefully we’re now on the right path.”

      When speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Tuchel said:
      “The first half was brilliant, no.
      “You have to 2-0 lead, It feels like a 3-0 or 4-0 lead.
      “Then you give a penalty away and concede and things get complicated. It’s life. I’m happy with the result.”
      “It would be a lie if I said we I had no doubts but I also had a lot of trust.
      “In difficult circumstances we produced a lot of results and good performances so we can trust in our mentality and the culture in the club.
      “We allowed ourselves to focus on the football.”

      It’s been a bad day for Chelsea Football club, but Thomas Tuchel’s players fought to win three points against a strong Norwich side.
      The Blues got off to a perfect start with two early goals from Trevoh Chalobah and Mason Mount.
      They continued to dominate throughout the first half, but were pushed onto the back foot by the Canaries later in the game.
      Kai Havertz was a stand-out player throughout and deserved his last-minute goal.

      Dean Smith can certainly take some positives from this evening’s game.
      Norwich dominated the second half against the European champions and arguably could have equalised in the latter stages.
      Max Aarons injected a lot of pace and intensity into the team and opened up a lot of opportunities.
      Rashica was also an excellent addition at half time and added a new level of creativity.

      Norwich threw everything at Chelsea during the second half but in the end they were unable to get anything from the match.
      Chelsea were extremely strong in the opening stages but dropped off after half time which opened up the game for the Canaries, who came close to equalising.
      But, a late goal from Havertz sealed all three points for the Blues on a day that fans will be eager to forget.

      His side were defensively solid and continued to keep Man City’s world-class attack at bay for the entire 90 minutes.
      Whilst they failed to create any meaningful chances in the first half, they completely turned things around in the latter stages and began to dominate in the final 20 minutes.
      Marcus Edwards was a fantastic addition in the second half, and added a new level of intensity to the side which opened up more goalscoring opportunities.

      REAL MADRID sensationally knocked PSG out of the Champions League thanks to a 17-minute second-half hat-trick from Karim Benzema. Kylian Mbappe put PSG 2-0 up in the tie in the first half and looked set for the quarter-finals before Benzema stepped up and scored three times to send Pochettino’s side out of the competition.

      PSG superstar Neymar is set break tradition and play during his sister Rafaella Santos’ birthday celebrations.
      Tonight’s second leg falls just two days before his sister’s’ March 11 birthday.
      And if he avoids injury in Madrid he will be fit enough to play Sunday’s league fixture against Bordeaux.
      Coincidentally, Neymar almost always appears to pick up a knock just before his sister celebrates her big day.
      The birthday ‘curse’ started during the Brazilian superstar’s playing days at Barcelona in 2015.

      “The difficulties we had were pretty close to what I expected to be honest. First we have to be complimentary for a really good side, made for these kind of games, set up for these kind of games.
      “Without playing brilliant we had a lot of clear cut chances and didn’t use them. They didn’t have many but they scored a goal and I think over the two legs it’s completely fair that we won one and they won one and we are through. I think that’s a fair assumption.
      “I think we could’ve done better against an opponent that makes things really uncomfortable. It was a really interesting game, it was open. A lot of things could have happened but didn’t happen.
      “We lost the game which wasn’t cool. We didn’t come here tonight to lose a home game, but again, respect to the opponent, really strong, they caused us a lot of problems. But if we had used our chances from set pieces and stuff like that which are really big, then we win this game even when Inter are strong.

      “I think it was a tough team, even in the away game they were very good.”
      “The most important thing was that we qualified so hopefully in the next game we are going to be better.”
      “I hit the post twice but it’s okay, maybe in the next game I can score three! I don’t mind as long as the team qualify, for sure that’s the most important thing.”
      “Maybe we need to start from the beginning, winning games. So, we lost a game, maybe that gives us a bit of a push more that in the back of our minds that, okay, maybe we’re overconfident at the moment. But, I think it’s a good game to take it and to learn from it and carry on.”
