Kepa, 27, lost his place after a number of blunder-filled performances, but he believes that he is now deserving of another shot at being a No1.
Asked about a potential exit, he added: “Right now I am a Chelsea player.
“But what I am clear about is that I want to play more, because I come from a year or two where, when I have played, I have had a great performance.

    Tuch and go
Thomas Tuchel has said he wishes Reece James could clone key player James.
In April, the German said: “I would love to have two of Reece James, that would solve the problem, it’s like 50% towards wing-back and 45% towards the back three.
“It depends a little bit on how the opponent plays against us.
“Do we expect a lot of possession, how is their structure for their offensive transition.
“For this it can sometimes be helpful for Reece to play in the back three and be the first guy to cover in the transition and to not be involved in the attack.
“We have his speed and physicality in the protection of the opponents counter-attack.
“I’m a bit more into that his very best position is the wing-back position where he is perhaps even more decisive, more useful but it is more demanding.
“The next step is to be a regular player over 50, 55, 60 matches and from there we have to decide that those positions are filled with top quality with him.”

Adrien Rabiot wants to leave Juventus to join a Premier League club this summer.

    Damned United
Gary Neville says his old club has become a “graveyard” for players.
The Red Devils experienced one of their worst-ever Premier League campaigns last season, finishing with a total of just 58 points.
And while club chiefs are hoping that the introduction of Erik ten Hag will be a catalyst for change, Neville insists more needs to be done behind the scenes.
The former defender has already slammed the Glazer family this week for taking £11million in dividends from the club, despite a huge rise in net debt.
Now he has argued that more money needs to be put into Man Utd so it can become a top club again.
In response to a tweet about Christian Eriksen, who is currently deciding between the Red Devils and Brentford as his next club, Neville wrote: “That’s why Dividends have to stop for a period.
“Every penny has to go back into the club until it becomes attractive again. The club has become a graveyard for players.
“Culturally for owners to take money out of a poorly performing business is demoralising!”
    Rab race
Adrien Rabiot wants to leave Juventus to join a Premier League club this summer.
And Chelsea are the outright favourites to clinch his signature ahead of Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City, according to Betfair.
The France international joined Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in July 2019.
He’s since made 129 appearances, scoring six goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
The 27-year-old’s contract expires in June 2023, but reports suggest he doesn’t intend to see out his deal in Turin.
The Telegraph claim Rabiot wants to leave the Serie A heavyweights to join an English club playing Champions League football.

    Dean and dusted
Nottingham Forest will announce Dean Henderson’s loan move from Manchester United next week.
SunSport understand that the deal is “done” as everything has been agreed between all parties involved and Henderson will be confirmed after the weekend.
The highly-rated goalkeeper will join on a straight loan without a buy-out clause as United didn’t want to take up that option.
This poses as a major addition for Forest shortly after earning Premier League promotion and ending their 23-year exile in the lower tiers.
    Man United chase wonderkid Endrick
Man United are claimed to be one of four teams in the race to sign Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick.
The battle to sign the exciting winger is hotting up with Endrick, 15, close to signing his first professional contract.
Endrick is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a professional deal with Brazilian side Palmeiras when he turns 16 this July.
According to journalist Jorge Nicola, the teenager will have a £34million release clause in the first year of his contract.
That will then rise to around £43m and £50m in the following two years.
As a result Nicola claims United are in a “hurry” to snap up the wonderkid sooner rather than later.
    Ronaldo announces NFT deal
Cristiano Ronaldo announced a NFT partnership with cryptocurrency company Binface.
Ronaldo has agreed to launch a series of NFT collections on Binface’s platform in a multi-year deal.
The first collection will be released later this year and will consist of iconic designs in collaboration with the Man United legend.
Speaking on the deal, he said: “Nothing is more important to me than the fans, so the idea of bringing unprecedented experiences and access through this platform is something that I wanted to be a part of.
“I know the fans are going to enjoy the collection as much as I do.”

Man United are interested in signing Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij.
That’s according to Corriere della Serra, who claim the Red Devils want to land De Vrij to shore up their defence next season.
Reports claim Inter could let him leave for the right price – said to be between £43-52m.
    Ronaldo’s the world’s most influential
Cristiano Ronaldo is the world’s most influential sports star, new data has revealed.
The 37-year-old Manchester United forward remains one of the biggest names in sport thanks to his incredible performances and longevity.
And, as reported by betting.com, he is also the most searched sports star globally – by some distance.
On average, Ronaldo‘s name is searched 11 million times per month.
That is nearly five million more than the next biggest – which is American football player Ryan Ramczyk.
    Ronaldo needs main role
Erik ten Hag has to be prepared to give Cristiano Ronaldo a starring role next season in order to keep him happy.
That’s the view of John O’Shea, who told Paddy Power: “Cristiano Ronaldo will want to be the key man for Manchester United next season but there’ll be discussions and Erik ten Hag said in his first press conference that he’ll have those with Ronaldo in person, rather than telling the media.
“When you see what he does and the goals he brings to the team, having Cristiano there is going to be an asset and I’m sure the new manager will get that across to him.
“He brings goals and every team wants goals – they’re so crucial.
“Every manager wants new attackers and new signings, but he’ll have Cristiano Ronaldo in his side who can produce hat tricks, winning goals and amazing quality.
“He’ll want to play every game as always and what’s wrong with that? But the manager has to control that and make sure he uses him in the right way.”
    Ex-Man United coach on exit
Ex-Man United coach Alan Fettis has revealed it was a no-brainer to leave the Red Devils to join Middlesbrough.
Fettis left United to become Boro’s goalkeeping coach, and he’s got no regrets.
He said: “I think the stature of the club. Whenever I’ve been here with Manchester United’s academy they’ve always been good footballing people.
“It’s a really good football club and obviously the manager that has come in has done really well wherever he has been previously.
“I had a few deadlines with him when Dean Henderson was at Sheffield United and so I understand what he’s about and how he plays.
“Like me, he’s a good and honest footballing person, as are all of his staff. It was a big wrench to leave Manchester United after so long but I had ambitions to want to push myself a little bit further so it was a no-brainer really in some respects.”
    Timber ‘set for Ajax stay’
Man United transfer target Jurrien Timber will not be leaving Ajax this summer, the club’s new boss Alfred Schreuder reckons.
Schreuder told ESPN: “I have spoken with Jurrien and I am assuming he is staying at Ajax.
“Timber is a smart guy and he knows what is best for himself.
“We don’t think he is done at Ajax yet.”
    Brazilian connection discussed by O’Shea
Man United legend John O’Shea reckons Arsenal’s transfer supremo Edu can help them land fellow Brazilians Raphinha and Gabriel Jesus.
O’Shea told Paddy Power: “When good players pop up like Raphinha and Gabriel Jesus and the transfers make sense financially. They’re both Brazilian players and they have a Brazilian Director of Football at Arsenal [Edu] that will be an attractive link too.
“Arteta knows Jesus from working with him at Man City and Raphinha has looked really exciting for the last couple of years as well as breaking into the Brazil national team.
“So, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more teams than just Arsenal looking at him.”
    Lindelof enjoys relaxing holiday
Victor Lindelof is enjoying a relaxing holiday in Sweden alongside stunning wife Maja.
The duo are back in Stockholm, with the Manchester United star making the most of some time off from the rigours of the football calendar.
Lindelof, 27, married long-term partner Maja in May 2018 – with the pair welcoming their first child in March of the following year.
Their relationship is as strong as ever four years into married life, with the loved up couple sharing a number of holiday pictures on Instagram.
In one, Maja clutches a beer as she locks lips with a tuxedoed Victor in the sunshine.
Posing in a picturesque location within the Swedish capital, the duo also share a hug while looking lovingly at each other.

    Bayern ‘not interested in Ronaldo’
Bayern Munich are NOT interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United, according to reports.
Recent reports have suggested Ronaldo is unhappy with the lack of movement in the transfer market from Man United, leading to speculation he could quit the club this summer.
Such speculation included links with Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich, which would represent a new challenge for the Portuguese superstar.
However, BILD’s Christian Falk has reported such interest is untrue, with Bayern holding no tangible interest in the 37-year-old.

    Greenwood’s bail gets extended
Mason Greenwood’s bail has been extended by Greater Manchester Police.
The 20-year-old’s bail was initially set to expire in April.
But police applied to extend his bail in order to continue their enquiries.
The application was granted in court yesterday, and Greenwood is under the same bail restrictions.
Ten Hag blamed for Rangnick exit
New Man United boss Erik ten Hag forced his predecessor Ralf Rangnick out of the club, reports claim.
Rangnick was supposed to go into a consultancy role at united but opted to leave due to Ten Hag’s reluctance to work with him, ESPN reported.
And United initiated the German’s exit after holding talks with Ten Hag, the report added.
Ten Hag dismissed Rangnick’s hopes of meeting in person in favour of a phone call, it was also claimed.
Ten Hag grew increasingly frustrated with Rangnick after his comments about the club’s transfer policy at the end of last season, the publication added.
    Ronaldo spotted on family holiday
Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez has shared multiple pictures of the loved-up couple and their family on holiday in Majorca.
The Manchester United forward, his girlfriend and his five children have been staying at a luxury villa on the island, which boasts an ‘underground erotic room’.
The family jetted off to Majorca on June 14 where they have been spotted out and about all over.
Ronaldo and Co have been pictured enjoying days out on his £5.5m Azimut Grande superyacht, which has been moored in Port Adriano in the south-west of Majorca.
They even had a party with friends, including close pal Jose Semedo, while out on holiday to celebrate Ronaldo’s oldest son turning 12.

    De Ligt ‘rejects Juventus offer’
Man United transfer target Matthijs de Ligt has reportedly turned down a big money contract from Juventus as he wants a Premier League move.
Juve are desperate to keep hold of the centre back who has two years left on his contract.
But the Dutch ace has told the club he wants out during crunch talks, according to Corriere dello Sport.
That’s because he’s keen on a transfer to the Prem, the report adds.
    Richarlison’s transfer options discussed
Everton ace Richarlison has been tipped to leave Goodison Park this summer with a number of clubs interested in the Brazilian.
Tottenham are one of the notable interested parties.
But Fabrizio Romano reckons the striker, who’s also been linked with Man United, could end up playing for another Prem side next season.
Romano told wettfreunde: “With Richarlison, it’s important to mention that the player is open to moving this summer.”
“That’s why he decided to go with new agents in April. And he’s really open to the possibility.”
“It’s not only Tottenham. Many clubs are interested in Richarlison. Won’t be surprised if he ends up at another English club, apart from Tottenham.”
    Ronaldo in quit threat
Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Manchester United this summer unless they show more ambition in the transfer market, reports claim.
Reports in his native Portugal suggest he is frustrated by the Red Devils’ lack of transfer business.
According to Record, Ronaldo could quit the club for a second time unless they buck their ideas up in the market.
They add that he has told United chiefs: “Up your game or I’ll leave.”
    Man United face transfer battle
Man United have been dealt a transfer blow as Chelsea are set to rival them over Ajax star Antony, reports suggest.
That is according to 90Min, who report that the Blues met with the winger’s representatives while they were in the UK recently.
The West Londoners are “‘monitoring” the Brazil international’s situation as manager Thomas Tuchel is looking for attacking reinforcements during the summer transfer window.
    Ronaldo ‘tracked by Bayern’
Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a sensational move to Bayern Munich.
Bayern are reportedly eyeing Ronaldo as a replacement for the outgoing Robert Lewandowski, according to AS.
The German giants want Ronaldo to spearhead an exciting new attack with Sadio Mane.
And they could be in luck as Ronaldo wants to quit Man United as he’s starting to doubt the Red Devils’ ability to compete for the top prizes next season, the report adds.
Liverpool have strengthened their attack with Darwin Nunez, while Man City brought in Erling Haaland.
Conversely, United have been quiet in the transfer market which has fuelled Ronaldo’s skepticism over the club’s silverware push next season.
    Barcelona ‘eye Edinson Cavani’
Edinson Cavani is being lined up for a shock move to Barcelona.
Barca are reportedly tracking the ex-Man United striker who left the club this summer.
The Catalan giants’ main target is Robert Lewandowski, but they’ll turn to Cavani if landing the Poland international is to difficult, according to Fichajes.
    Fernandes in F-bomb row
Footage has emerged of Bruno Fernandes shouting at Manchester United team-mates before being called a f***er”.
The Portuguese spotted Fred and Alex Telles filming with Brazilian sports agency O Clube Football as they arrived at training.
The latter was filming a feature called “A Day in the Life”, when Fernandes trolled him.
United’s midfield talisman shouted: “Stop being such ballers!”
He then added: “You are here to play football, not film it!”
After an exchange of swear words, Fernandes then yelled: “Film my d**k.”
Fred hit back: “Chill out you f***er.”

    It’s a family affair
Man United have reportedly hired the brother of Everton defender Michael Keane to be the club’s new transfer chief.
Solicitor Tom Keane is set to replace Matt Judge, who has quit his role as director of transfer negotiations at Old Trafford.
In a summer of change Judge followed Chief Scout Jim Lawlor and Head of Global Scouting Marcel Bout in walking out the door.
Keane will join in a consultancy role, according to The Daily Mail, but will handle transfer and contract negotiations after taking over some of Judge’s commitments.
He is also brother to Wigan striker Will, who was formerly on the books at Old Trafford alongside Toffees defender Michael.
Keane is poised to play a key role in getting players through the door at Manchester United for new boss Erik ten Hag.
    Morning, United fans
Erik ten Hag’s summer spree could be limited to £120million – curbing him to only about three of the five signings he wants. And with Chelsea now reportedly joining the hunt for Antony, Ajax have more chance of reaching their £69million valuation of the winger.
But United could offload up to five defenders – as new boss Ten Hag rates central defence as a priority area for strengthening.
Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani are already outgoing.
Midfielder Pogba will have a medical with old club Juventus early next month ahead of signing a three-year deal.
It’s thought representatives of the French World Cup winner met officials of the Italian giants yesterday.
The most incredible speculation to emerge last night was talk from Portugal that Cristiano Ronaldo is considering his future.
It’s suggested the strike legend, 37, has ‘told his inner circle’ he’s worried about the Red Devils’ slow progress in the transfer window so far.
Finally, main target Frenkie de Jong’s mooted move from Barcelona has reached a temporary stalemate.
Elanga laps it up on hols in Mykonos
United frontman Anthony Elanga is making the most of his last few days off by enjoying a holiday in Mykonos with his stunning girlfriend.
Elanga and partner China Navana, both 20, are also joined on the Greek island by Rangers ace Alex Lowry and his Wag Jess.

The romantic couples jetted off last week and are clearly loving the sunshine, relaxing by the pool, exploring the island and even splashing around on jet skis.
Elanga took to Instagram on Thursday to give his 980,000 followers a sneak peek into his trip.
The photos included selfies with China, tucking into some local grub, the beautiful sunsets and even one of Elanga shadow boxing underwater.
The Red Devils ace only finished his season on June 12 after featuring in three Nations League matches for Sweden, scoring in the first against Norway.

    Taiwo heads for Forest
Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi has arrived in the Midlands to complete his club record £17.5million move to Nottingham Forest, writes GRAEME BRYCE.
The 24-year-old Nigerian international will complete his medical today (Friday) and Forest are confident he will be confirmed as their record signing within the next 48 hours – smashing the previous best £13.2million they paid for Joao Carvalho.
The former Liverpool frontman scored 15 goals, adding two assists in the Bundesliga last season and the Anfield club will cop a £1.75m bonus as they had a 10% sell-on clause inserted in his current contract, despite never using him in a competitive first team game.
Awoniyi bid farewell to his Union Berlin teammates in an emotional send-off this week, telling them he feels he has unfinished business in the Premier League.
He will be joined at the City Ground by Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has agreed to join Steve Cooper’s Prem new boys on a season-long-loan.
‘Utd cap Ten Hag budget at £120m’
Erik ten Hag’s summer transfer budget could be capped at £120million.
That’s the claim from the Mirror – despite Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani departing United.
New Old Trafford boss Ten Hag reportedly wants around five incomers – but might settle for three.
Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong seems to top that list of targets, ahead of Ajax winger Antony – with a centre-back likely to be another priority.
    Marseille eye Nuno deal
Marseille have reportedly made an offer to borrow Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares with the option to buy permanently.
The 22-year-old is facing an uncertain future at the Emirates just one year after joining from Benfica for £8million.

Tavares featured in 27 games in all competitions for the Gunners – chipping in with one goal and two assists.
But he was guilty of inconsistent performances when he deputised for Kieran Tierney at left-back.
It was reported earlier this month how Arsenal were prepared to let the Portugal youth international depart on loan.
Serie A outfit Atalanta have been linked with the player, but the Italian side are claimed to face competition from Marseille.
Jesus and Raphinha ‘more important’ than Youri
Arsenal have reportedly prioritised the signings of Gabriel Jesus and Raphinha over Youri Tielemans.
The Gunners are still keen on Leicester city midfielder Tielemans, but want to recruit Man City ace Jesus and Leeds star Raphinha first,
That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
He told Caught Offside: “Arsenal have long had contacts with the player’s camp and with Leicester but have not made official offers so far.
“Talks are still on, but they are not at the key stages yet because the club is focused on Gabriel Jesus as a priority and is trying to compete for Raphinha, two deals on which you need to be quick.”
    Nkunku blow for Red Devils
Man United transfer target Christopher Nkunku has signed a new contract with RB Leipzig.
The deal was reported by Fabrizio Romano who tweeted: “Official and confirmed.
“Christopher Nkunku extends his contract with RB Leipzig until June 2026, deal now signed and sealed.
“There’s a release clause included in the new deal for €60m.”
    Chelsea eye De Ligt move
Chelsea are ramping up their interest in Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt.
Italian reports claim the Dutchman has emerged as a top defensive target for Thomas Tuchel.
And De Ligt is open to joining the world champions in a mega-money deal.
His agent is now set to hold showdown talks with Juventus.
But Chelsea have no intention of meeting De Ligt’s £103million release clause.

    Henderson set for Nottingham Forest
Man Utd goalie Dean Henderson has agreed terms to join Nottingham Forest on loan.
The Athletic claims the England goalie will play for the newly-promoted Premier League side next term.
And Forest will cover the entirety of his £110,000-a-week Old Trafford wages.
Newcastle had been interested in Henderson, but they have opted to make a permanent move for relegated Burnley stopper Nick Pope instead.
    Marseille launch Tavares loan bid
Marseille are looking to raid Arsenal once again – this time for Nuno Tavares.
Foot Mercato claims the French outfit have launched a loan offer for the Portuguese left-back, with an option to buy next summer.
Marseille are big fans of poaching talent from Arsenal, having signed Matteo Guendouzi permanently while loaning William Saliba.
    Sarri targets Emerson Palmieri reunion
Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri wants to sign Emerson Palmieri from old side Chelsea.
Football Italia claims the tactician is keen on reuniting with the left-back this summer.
And Lazio are set to launch a bid after opening talks with the Blues, who are open to a sale.

    Tottenham ‘abandon Jesus transfer pursuit’
Tottenham have abandoned their pursuit of Gabriel Jesus – clearing the path for North London rivals Arsenal to complete a swoop for the Brazilian, TOM BARCLAY WRITES.
Spurs did have an interest in the Manchester City forward as they look to bolster their forward ranks this summer.
But they have now moved on to other targets with fellow Brazilians Richarlison and Raphinha in their sights.
    Wolves misfit joins PSV
Wolves misfit Ki-Jana Hoever has joined PSV Eindhoven on a season-long-loan, GRAEME BRYCE WRITES.
The 20-year-old Dutchman cost Wolves £8.8million from Liverpool in 2020 but he failed to nail down a regular place at right-back, as Bruno Lage preferred Nelson Semedo.
Wolves will hope to recoup most of the £8.8million they invested in Hoever if he can get his career back on track in his homeland.
    Come on Son
Real Madrid are monitoring Tottenham superstar Son Heung-min, according to reports.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Son is one of a shortlist of forward players which the 14-time European champions are keeping tabs on.
Carlo Ancelotti will be looking to add to his attack after Gareth Bale and Isco’s contracts expired at the end of the season.
Marco Asensio has also been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, with Arsenal thought to be interested.
Son, who has netted 131 times and provided 73 assists in 324 appearances for Tottenham, is among a select few forwards being muted as potential targets for Real Madrid.
    Neymar ‘offered to Barcelona’
Neymar has been offered back to Barcelona for a cut-price fee but a secret clause in his contract at Paris Saint-Germain could scupper plans for a reunion, according to reports.
PSG are said to be open to selling the Brazilian trickster, and have offered him back to former club Barcelona for just £43million.
Despite the club’s financial problems which see’s them in debts of half a BILLION Euros, the prospect of bringing back one of their former superstars could be too tantalising a proposition to refuse.
    Bruce makes Jed Wallace signing
Steve Bruce has seen off fierce competition from Burnley, QPR, Luton and Watford to sign former Millwall right winger Jed Wallace, Graeme Bryce writes.
The 28-year-old is regarded as one of the Championship’s best free signings this summer after allowing his Lions’ contract to run down.
And Bruce says he is delighted to welcome the former Wolves winger to the Hawthorns after Wallace scored 37 goals and conjured up 39 assists in 210 appearances for Milwall.
“Jed will be a massive asset to our team, and I’m absolutely delighted to get him through the door,” said the Baggies’ boss.
“He is somebody who I’ve admired for a long time and have tried to sign before. He’s got pace, power, penetration in the final third and, above all, is a top pro.
“To have secured our two primary targets in Jed and John Swift is terrific, and to get these deals both done before the squad return for pre-season is testament to the hard work being done behind the scenes by Ron Gourlay and the recruitment team.”
    Kar-m and get me
Loris Karius has sent a passionate come-and-get-me plea as he desperately hunts for a new club.
Karius told Sky Sports Germany: “I took a week’s holiday after the season. That was enough for me.
“Now the focus is on the restart. There’s a new challenge coming up.
“I’m ready for it and I’m getting fit now. That’s my focus right now.
“I’m in top shape. I’ve been training at the highest level all year, with one of the best teams in the world.”
    Neymar to Newcastle?
Newcastle are keen on a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, according to reports.
The French side could opt to sell the Brazilian, although not many sides could afford his wages.
Eddie Howe’s men are among the few teams that would be willing to take them on, although L’Equipe claim that he would be dead against joining the Toon.
Spanish outlet Sport add that Juventus are also in the running, with boss Massimiliano Allegri keen.

    Newcastle man ‘unhappy with wages’
Newcastle talisman Allan Saint-Maximin has reportedly grown frustrated with the wage structure in place at St. James’ Park.
Toon are claimed to have explored the prospect of selling Saint-Maximin this summer in order to raise further funds for transfers.
Tottenham were understood to be interested in a potential deal, as well as Chelsea.
But SportMail claim Newcastle were looking for over £40million to part ways with trickster Saint-Maximin.
That valuation was deemed too high, but Saint-Maximin’s head is claimed to have been turned by the prospect of bigger salaries on offer elsewhere.
The winger is said to be frustrated by the wage structure at the club which restricts how much the Magpies can offer him.
Arsenal ‘hours away from Jesus transfer’
Arsenal could complete the purchase of Gabriel Jesus in HOURS, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert told wettfreunde: “I’m sure that Arsenal are absolutely leading the race (for Gabriel Jesus).
Arsenal are in really advanced talks. So they have the chance to complete this deal.
“If they want, it could be a matter of hours or days to complete this deal.
“They are in final stages but it is really important to complete these key details that sometimes could create some problems.”
    Mane receives special welcome
Bayern Munich celebrated the arrival of Sadio Mane by lighting up the Allianz Arena with his name in an incredible display.
Bayern chiefs celebrated the move in impressive style once darkness descended on Munich.

Bayern Munich shared the incredible snap of their ground on Instagram, simply captioned “Mane”.

    Arsenal ‘prepare second Raphinha bid’
Arsenal are reportedly preparing a second bid for Raphinha as they look to beat London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham to the Leeds winger.
Mikel Arteta has made landing the forward a priority signing, with the Gunners launching an offer to secure his services earlier this week.
But their approach was swiftly knocked back by the Whites after it fell way under their asking price.
It was claimed on Monday that Arsenal were set to wrap up a transfer for the Brazilian this week, but those claims appear to be wide of the mark.
According to the Guardian, the Yorkshire outfit will only part ways with the ex-Rennes ace should they receive a fee of at least £65million.
But they state that despite the hefty asking price, Arsenal are preparing to make a second bid in their quest to bring him to the Emirates.
    Man City ‘to sign keeper’
Manchester City are poised to sign German keeper Stefan Ortega, according to reports.
The Armenia Bielefeld star is a free agent with his contract at the Bundesliga club expiring at the end of the month.
Respected Kicker magazine claimed City boss Pep Guardiola wants Ortega to be Ederson’s understudy next season.
Despite his best efforts Bielefeld were relegated in May, and they have been unable to offer him a new deal.
But Ortega now appears set to forge a new career under former Bayern coach Guardiola, alongside compatriot Ilkay Gundogan, with the Premier League champions.

But Pogba “only ever wanted Juventus”, according to Fabrizio Romano.
And Sky Sports Italia have now revealed the 2018 World Cup winner’s representatives are hoping to complete a four-year deal on Thursday.
Rafaela Pimenta – who has taken over from the late Mino Raiola – is set for talks with Juventus chiefs to discuss contract terms.
It’s expected Pogba will push for either a four-year deal or a three-year deal with the option for an additional season.

Raheem Sterling has been urged not to join Chelsea by Trevor Sinclair.
He told talkSPORT when asked if Sterling should swap Man City for the Blues: “I would say no because I don’t think Chelsea will be competitive with Man City and Liverpool next season.
“They’ve lost players, the club is in a transitional phase where they’ve lost a lot of players and they’ve got to do a lot of rebuilding.”
    Firminho tipped for Liverpool exit
Roberto Firminho is likely to be next out of Liverpool’s exit following Sadio Mane’s departure to Bayern Munich.
That’s according to ex-Reds star Stuart Downing who reckons Firminho will play second fiddle to new recruit Darwin Nunez next season.
Downing said ahead of the 360 Sports TV Masters Cup: “I hope Darwin Nunez hits the ground running. I see Firmino being a backup player to him.
“If they can get Firmino back to the form he was at a couple of seasons ago, it’s another great dimension for Liverpool.
“But this will probably be his last year, or he might do until January.”
    Sterling’s transfer demands revealed
Man City ace Raheem Sterling will only leave the club for regular first-team football and Champions League nights, reports claim.
The 27-year-old still has lofty ambitions that he wants to fulfill by playing consistently, the Daily Express reported.
And that puts Chelsea in pole position for his signature as they can provide Sterling with both demands.

    Bale at Cardiff training ground
Gareth Bale visited Cardiff’s training base where it is believed he held transfer talks with manager Steve Morison.
The Wales legend is a free agent after confirming his departure from Real Madrid.

And rumours of a sensational return to his place of birth has since followed with Bale on the hunt for a new side.
It comes after he led Wales to a first World Cup in 64 years following their 1-0 play-off final triumph over war-torn Ukraine.
In a recent development, the winger spoke with Cardiff boss Morison and discussed his future, according to WalesOnline.
They claim Bale was undertaking physio at the club’s Vale of Glamorgan HQ with the FAW’s medical staff.
PSG blow for Chelsea and Spurs over Skriniar
Chelsea and Tottenham have been dealt a blow after Paris Saint-Germain launched a second, improved bid for Milan Skriniar, according to reports.
The two Premier League sides are desperately seeking defensive reinforcements this summer.
Spurs have qualified for the Champions League after a three-year absence and will need to improve their squad depth to compete on all fronts.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have already lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen and are expected to lose both Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso before the start of the new season.

Both clubs have identified Skriniar, 27, as a target amid his stellar, five-year stint at Inter Milan.
However, PSG currently lead the race after launching another bid for the in-demand Slovakia international.
Inter are currently demanding around £68m for their star defender and are playing hardball as they face the prospect of losing fellow centre-back Alessandro Bastoni, potentially even to Chelsea or Spurs.
Two weeks ago, PSG are said to have launched a cheeky £43m offer – well shy of the target.
However, with Skriniar out of contract at the end of the coming season, Inter could accept a fee of closer to £50m.
And multiple reports in Italy claim PSG have come back with an improved offer of £43m up front, with a further £4.3m in add ons.
    Henrikh snubs Roma for Inter
Former Arsenal and Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan has completed his move to Inter Milan.
The Armenian snubbed a new deal at Roma in favour of a move to Simone Inzaghi’s side.
Mkhitaryan has spent the last three seasons at Roma playing a key role as they won the inaugural Conference League.

He played 44 times in all competitions scoring five goals and assisting a further nine for Jose Mourinho’s side.
The 33-year-old rose to fame while playing for Borussia Dortmund becoming the league’s top assister in the 2015/16 season.
Consequently he earned a move to Man Utd for around £30million playing 63 games for the club.
As part of the deal that saw Alexis Sanchez move to Old Trafford from Arsenal, Mkhitaryan moved the other way and featured 59 times for the Gunners.
Inter have already confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Andre Onana from Ajax and appear to have a deal sorted to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the San Siro on loan.
The Belgian striker is believed to have taken a pay cut to force the return to Italy. They remain interested in free agent Paulo Dybala with his time at Juventus over.
Blues vs Red Devils for Rabiot
Chelsea could battle Manchester United for Adrien Rabiot.
That’s after Thomas Tuchel made direct contact with the Juventus midfielder this week.
The Mail claims Rabiot is set for a fresh start after three years in Turin.
The France international joined on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.

And Rabiot has gone on to score six times in 129 appearances.
Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag is said to be a big fan of the resilient playmaker.

Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag is said to be a big fan of the resilient playmaker.
Antony ‘desperate’ for Old Trafford move
Antony is desperate to quit Ajax and be reunited with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, according to reports.
The Red Devils’ new manager is itching to kick off his squad overhaul with a move for the Brazilian winger.
Antony, 22, shone under Ten Hag at Ajax winning two Eredivisie crowns and the KNVB Cup together.

Last season, the forward scored 12 goals and laid on ten assists in 33 games in all competitions as the Dutch giants won the league title.
And now, Antony is desperate to follow Ten Hag to Man Utd in order to continue his progression, according to Goal.
Earlier this week, SunSport revealed United officials had flown in to Amsterdam to get a deal for the Brazilian over the line.
The club are set to splash out £40million on Antony as their first summer signing. United have already lost Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard from their attacking ranks this summer.
And they’re wasting no time in looking to replace them with a statement signing in Antony. The player had already revealed his admiration for Ten Hag.
    City odds-on to retain title
Manchester City and Liverpool are favourites to be crowned 2022-23 Premier League champions.
That’s according to bookmakers Betfair, who are predicting another two-horse race with Pep Guardiola’s Citizens available at 4/7 and Liverpool at 12/5.
The dust has settled on the 2021-22 campaign with Manchester City landing their fourth title in the last five years.
But it’s a quick turnaround with less than 50 days until the new 2022-23 season starts on August 6th, with the fixtures now released.
It will include a six-week mid-season break to accommodate the World Cup in Qatar with the final round of fixtures to be played on the final weekend in May.
Manchester City are odds-on favourites at 4/7 to defend their crown.
And it’s easy to see why given they’ve already added Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland to their ranks.
    Betfair odds

    Manchester City – 4/7
    Liverpool – 12/5
    Tottenham – 14/1
    Chelsea – 16/1
    Manchester United – 25/1
    Arsenal – 40/1
    Newcastle – 100/1

    Blues take Clauss action
Chelsea have made “initial contact” over signing Lens star Jonathan Clauss.
That is according to Goal reporter Nizaar Kinsella, who claims the Blues are keeping tabs on Clauss.
The West Londoners reportedly see the right-back at Cesar Azpilicueta’s replacement.
The move would cost £10million and Atletico Madrid are also interested.
It has been added that the France international is also a Chelsea fan.
    Maguire to stay
Manchester United are set to keep Harry Maguire at Old Trafford this summer.
But Maguire could be in danger of losing the captain’s armband under new manager Erik ten Hag.
According to the Mail, the centre-back’s captaincy situation is “up in the air”.
While the Red Devils will keep the England international, they could look to flog any of Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe.
Should they successfully clear room, the Manchester giants will go after another centre-back this summer.
Ultras don’t want proper Romelu welcome
Scorned Inter Milan Ultras have fired a warning at Romelu Lukaku ahead of his imminent return to Italy.
Chelsea have agreed to loan the Belgian back to the San Siro side for just £7million, a year after buying him for £97.5m.
While it would appear great business for Inter on the pitch, a section of supporters have told others not to celebrate the return of their deadly former No9 too much.

The Curva Nord were furious at the nature of Lukaku’s departure 12 months ago. They wrote at the time: “Despite the fact we protected you like a son, like one of us, you too proved yourself to be just like all the rest, going to your knees for money.”
Addressing fellow supporters now, Curva Nord have urged fans not to “run and drool” after him – instead claiming that he will have to earn their affection back with “humility and sweat”.
They wrote: “Curva Nord supports Inter and will not make any objection to the player (despite last summer’s behaviour). Given this no one should go to welcome him with scarves or banners of the Curva or of the groups that compose it.
“Everything that will eventually be done towards him in the future will have to earn it on the pitch with humility and sweat …
“He was supported (and treated) like a King, now he is one like many others.”
    Four-club Fab fight
Arsenal and Newcastle lead the transfer race ahead of Manchester United and Manchester City for Napoli star Fabian Ruiz.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who claim the Partenopei want £26million for Ruiz.
The Serie A giants still hope to keep the 26-year-old but might cash in this summer as he only has one year left on his contract.
The Spain international amassed a total of seven goals and five assists in 38 appearances across all competitions last season.
Utd and Brentford duel for Eriksen as ‘Spurs pull out’
Tottenham look set to reject the chance to re-sign former star Christian Eriksen, who has been linked with Manchester United.
Eriksen, who spent seven seasons at Spurs between 2013-2020, will soon be a free agent when his short-term contract at Brentford expires on June 30.
A romantic return to North London had been touted but SunSport understands Antonio Conte’s side is likely to focus on other targets instead.
This leaves the path clear for the likes of United and Brentford to fight it out for the services of the 30-year-old, who is understood to be seeking a relatively long-term deal.
    Chelsea target Militao
Chelsea are keeping tabs on Real Madrid star Eder Militao as they look for defensive reinforcement.
That is according to Mundo Deportivo, who claim that the Blues are preparing an offer for Militao.
However, Real are in no way keen on letting the centre-back go in the summer.
Los Blancos have also slapped a whopping €250million (£215m) asking price on the Brazil international, who has a contract until 2025
    Kounde still linked
Sevilla star Jules Kounde is on holiday after reaching an agreement with Chelsea.
That is according to AS, who continue to report that Kounde is very close to joining the Blues.
The Spanish outlet claims “all roads” lead the centre-back to Stamford Bridge this summer.
However, Barcelona continue to monitor the France international as manager Xavi is very keen
    Sam Johnstone deal
Ex-Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has agreed to join Crystal Palace on a free transfer.
Johnstone will leave West Brom when his contract expires at the end of the month.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the keeper has a deal in place to join Palace.

    Lukaku deal details
Chelsea ace Romelu Lukaku is set to go back to Inter Milan on loan in the summer transfer window.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has shared the details of the deal between the Blues and Inter.
According to Romano, there is an €8million (£6.9m) loan fee guaranteed and €4m (£3.4m) in add-ons related to performances in place.
The centre-forward’s salary is reduced from €12m (£10.3m) net to €8m (£6.9m) net this season.
There is no buy option or obligation clause, while his medical will take place in Milan next week
    Arsenal linked with Rabiot
Arsenal have been linked with Juventus ace Adrien Rabiot.
That is according to CalcioMercatoWeb, who report the Gunners are willing to offer a player in return as part of a straight swap deal.
Manager Mikel Arteta is keen on Rabiot, who is out of contract at the end of next season.
This comes after the North Londoners signed midfielder Fabio Vieira from Porto in the summer
    Arsenal’s Raphinha offer
Arsenal made a first formal bid for Leeds star Rphinha that was rejected but their interest remains strong, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
Ornstein tweeted: “Arsenal made 1st formal offer to Leeds for Raphinha last night.
“While it fell well below #LUFC valuation & has now been rejected, interest remains strong.
“May be a long/difficult process due to competition but #AFC determined to sign 25yo”
    Mane joins Bayern
Liverpool star Sadio Mane has completed his move to Bayern Munich.
That is according to Sky Sports, who report that the Reds and Bayern have reached a £35million deal.
Mane is likely to replace star man Robert Lewandowski, who wants to leave the German champions and join Barcelona.
The winger joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 and amassed a total of 120 and 48 assists in 269 matches

    Barcelona still want Kounde
Barcelona are still pushing for Sevilla star and Chelsea transfer target Jules Kounde.
According to Mundo Deportivo reporter Ferran Martinez, Barca may even make Kounde their first signing of the summer.
The Blaugrana are also confident they will land Robert Lewandowski, although Bayern Munich continue to oppose a potential deal.
The Catalan giants are also keeping tabs on Manchester City ace Bernardo Silva but will only move if they lose Frenkie de Jong, who has been linked with Manchester United
    Fabian Ruiz transfer war
Arsenal and Newcastle lead the race ahead of Manchester United and Manchester City for Napoli star Fabian Ruiz.
That’s the claim from Corriere dello Sport, who report the Partenopei want £26million for Ruiz.

The Catalan giants are also keeping tabs on Manchester City star Bernardo Silva but will only move if they lose Frenkie de Jong

Ajax star Sebastien Haller is set to join Borussia Dortmund, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

“[Nico] Schlotterbeck, [Niklas] Sule, [Karim] Adeyemi, [Jayden] Braaf, [Salih] Ozcan and now Haller – huge window for BVB”
    Man Utd still target Timber
Manchester United are still chasing after Ajax star Jurrien Timber in the summer transfer window.

That is according to AS, who report that Ronaldo is apprehensive about the upcoming season, which could mark one of his last at elite level.
The 37-year-old forward reportedly believes there should be greater reinforcement after United experienced their worst ever Premier League campaign.
That becomes even more critical amid their rivals’ ongoing business with Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez joining Manchester City and Liverpool respectively

Man Utd ‘£65m plus add-ons Frenkie de Jong offer’, Cristiano Ronaldo ‘worried’ by United window, Timber transfer back on

CRISTIANO RONALDO is reportedly concerned by Man Utd’s transfer window so far.The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is said to be worried that the Red Devils will fall further behind the likes of Liverpool and Man City, who have signed Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland respectively.
The report from Spain adds that Ronaldo, 37, would like what could be his last season at the highest level to be a trophy-winning campaign.
However, the Red Devils could probably cheer Ronaldo up somewhat by bringing in Frenkie de Jong.
It is reported that they will make a bid of £65m plus add-ons for the Barcelona star this week.
SunSport also revealed earlier this week that United are close to landing a £40million deal for Ajax winger Antony.
And there are rumours that a move for Jurrien Timber could be back on, despite Louis van Gaal warning the defender against joining United if he wants to make his Holland World Cup squad.
Former Red Devils boss Van Gaal cautioned Timber that he would only consider players who are playing regularly for their clubs.

Neville tweeted: “The Glazer Family should NOT be taking £11m in dividends this Friday.
“It isn’t right with the investment needed in the team, stadium and training ground.

    Real target Garnacho
Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Manchester United wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho after earning praise from Lionel Messi.
Garnacho enjoyed a breakout season with United’s Under-18s as he registered a total of 14 goals and six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
The winger is now being tipped for a first-team role under new boss Erik ten Hag and the Red Devils are set to offer him a new lucrative deal.
According to DefensaCentral, however, Real are keeping tabs on the Argentina international’s contract negotiations as they could swoop in.
The 17-year-old earned an unexpected call-up by Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni.
The Argentine never managed to start for United’s first team but he still got to train alongside his country’s finest and earned admiration from Messi himself.
Should they successfully clear room, the Manchester giants will go after another centre-back this summer
    Man Utd’s Kie signing
Manchester United are set to launch a mega-money bid for Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong.
Mundo Deportivo report that United manager Erik ten Hag is desperate to finally land his first signing.

The offer could be enough to tempt broke Barca into selling the Netherlands international.

But the add-ons from the Red Devils’ offer may total up to hit that figure
    Fabian Ruiz transfer war

    Eriksen transfer boost
Tottenham look set to reject the chance to re-sign former star Christian Eriksen, who has been linked with Manchester United.
Eriksen, who spent seven seasons at Spurs between 2013-2020, will soon be a free agent when his short-term contract at Brentford expires on June 30.
A romantic return to North London had been touted but SunSport understands Antonio Conte’s side is likely to focus on other targets instead.

The Manchester giants are also actively trying to find a buyer for Bailly having offered him to Newcastle but that was met with a lukewarm response.

“We’re talking about the young lad, [Jurrien] Timber, at Ajax, a small centre-half.
“I’ll be interested to see what happens with [Raphael] Varane, [Victor] Lindelof and [Harry] Maguire, [Eric] Bailly as well, I think one or two of those will go”

Red Devils struggling to offload Martial and Bailly
EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United are having a nightmare trying to find a buyer for Anthony Martial due to his sky-high wages, writes NEIL CUSTIS.
United are ready to accept a big hit on the £38.5million they paid for him with offers of around £20million ready to be heard.
But the Frenchman’s £240,000-a-week wages are proving a massive stumbling block to any move with no club prepared to match that.

Martial still has two years left on that deal which means United may have to agree to a pay off to get him out of Old Trafford.
Sevilla in La Liga showed interest last season when they took him on a fourth month loan in the second-half of last season.
But the frontman flopped and he will return for pre-season training at Carrington on Monday.
United are also actively trying to find a buyer for centre-back Eric Bailly having offered him to Newcastle United – but that was met with a lukewarm response.
Having signed a new contract in April 2021 he still has two years left of his current contract.
As with Martial, United are ready to take a hit on the 28-year-old with an asking price of just £8.5million for a player who costs them £30million from Villarreal in 2016.

Bild say he is already one of the top earners at the Bundesliga club.
But they report he is keen to boost his wages to about £6m-per-year – and that is ‘peanuts’ to money-bag Magpies.
The German newspaper also point out Hazard will face competition for his spot next season from the likes of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, 17, Gio Reyna, 19, and new recruit Karem Adeyemi, 20.

The Foxes were due to kick-off their campaign with a home fixture against the Bees at 3pm on Saturday, just two hours after the Carnival’s 1pm start.
That would have been a logistics nightmare with up to 80,000 people expected to attend the Carnival, which has returned after a three year absence due to Covid concerns.
However any potential clash and draw on police resources was avoided after the Foxes agreed to switch their game to Sunday, August 7 with an earlier 2pm kick off.
