Man Utd takeover LIVE: Avram Glazer is AGAINST selling the club, Sheikh Jassim’s HUGE SECOND bid, Zilliacus EXCLUSIVE

AVRAM GLAZER is against selling Manchester United, according to reports. It is believed the 62-year-old, was merely on a fishing expedition to see how much his family could fetch for the club at some point in the future, report the Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Jassim has made a SECOND huge bid for the club, which is believed to be in the region of a massive £5billion.
Elsewhere, SunSport can exclusively reveal that Manchester United bidder Thomas Zilliacus wants to team up with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qataris to complete a £6billion takeover.

    Hojlund to name new agent
Arsenal and Man Utd target Rasmus Hojlund is set to appoint a new agent, according to reports.
The Denmark striker has become hot property, after scoring five goals in two starts for the national team.
While he has torn up Serie A with Atalanta, scoring eight goals in 25 games.
The 6ft4in striker, 20, has been compared to Man City ace Erling Haaland.
Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Understand Rasmus Højlund will be set to appoint a new agent very soon, as top European clubs are following him.
“Højlund has five goals in two starts for Danish national team — sounds huge after excellent first season in Serie A with Atalanta.”
    Sabitzer wants to stay
Marcel Sabitzer wants to stay at Old Trafford, according to reports.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed a decision will be made in May and June.
He tweeted: “Marcel Sabitzer, very happy with Man United experience — player would be happy to stay with ten Hag.
“Loan deal doesn’t include buy option, it will be up to Bayern… and Tuchel now. His Bayern chapter was already closed with Nagelsmann. Decision time around May/June.”
Williams appears to inhale nitrous oxide
Man Utd star Brandon Williams appears to inhale nitrous oxide from a balloon near the club’s training ground.
The £60,000-a-week full back, 22, was a passenger in a parked Brabus supercar.

He was seen with a balloon in his mouth as he passed a friend a canister of the legal high.
A witness told The Sun: “It was so obvious to anyone driving by what he was doing.
“Anyone who follows United or football seriously would have recognised him instantly. It’s irresponsible considering he’s a public figure.
“He’s meant to be a role model for youngsters and upcoming footballers.
Taking that rubbish, especially so casually, could be hindering his ability on the pitch.
“There is no doubt his manager will not be impressed by it.
“He expects his players to be completely devoted to their career, especially when they are attempting to break into the side.”
Avram Glazer doesn’t want to sell
Man Utd co-owner Avram Glazer does not want to sell the club, according to reports.
The Red Devils were put up for sale in November with the Glazers reportedly seeking £6billion.
They have attracted bids from three parties – Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Sheikh Jassim, and Thomas Zilliacus, all of which fall under their asking price.
Elliott Management are also interested in investing into the club in a deal that would see the Glazers retain majority control.
And it would seem that is Avram’s preferred course of action as the American is against the full sale of the club, report the Daily Mail.
It is believed Avram, 62, was merely on a fishing expedition to see how much his family could fetch for the club at some point in the future.
His brother Joel, 55, is also said to be hesitant about a sale.
But it is claimed he would greenlight a takeover if the winning bid matches his £6bn valuation, which would mark a significant profit.
    Telles future
Alex Telles’ future is up in the air.
The defender is currently on loan at Sevilla.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano it’s unlikely they will make his move permanent.
While the Red Devils will decide what to do with Telles in the summer.
Romano tweeted: “Alex Telles, expected to return to Man United at the end of the season — no buy option clause in the loan contract with Sevilla.”
He added: “Manchester United will make a decision on Telles future in June/July.”
    Casemiro’s big role
Former Man Utd star Dion Dublin believes suspended midfielder Casemiro will have a massive part to play in the changing room over the next few matches.
The Brazilian is set to miss four matches, after he was sent off against Southampton.
But, he will still be a presence among his team-mates, according to Dublin.
“Whoever takes his position, I am sure Casemiro will be chatting to him about what he expects as well because he has done it and won everything,” Dublin told United’s website.
“I know the players who play in Casemiro’s position – Fred has been a Brazil international for years, Scott McTominay has been a Scotland international for years, but I am still sure they will be having a word with Casemiro.
“Just what he thinks and he’ll be saying listen, this is how to do it, how to play against this team. So conversations are going to be had.”
Min-jae can’t be bothered with Utd link
Napoli defender Kim Min-jae has revealed he cannot be bothered by the transfer rumours linking him to other clubs.
The South Korean centre back was said to be a target for Man Utd. But Kim isn’t having any of it.
“As you know, those rumours are not true at all. I want to focus on my team. I have many tournaments to play,” Kim said.
“It’s been four or years I have had these rumours. It’s uncomfortable. I wish you don’t spread those stories.
“I cannot be bothered by transfer rumours because they aren’t true. Now I’m focusing on the team, rather than that kind of nonsense. There are so many important matches to go and right now I only want to focus on Napoli.”
    Ramos a target
Man Utd remain interested in Benfica sensation Goncalo Ramos, according to reports.
The Portugal striker has been left frustrated that a new deal with the Lisbon giants has yet to be agreed.
And Record report that the Red Devils are still monitoring the situation.
Ramos is said to be “very disappointed” with Benfica for not fulfilling their promise.
    Amrabat deal
Sofyan Amrabat’s brother has revealed that Man Utd tried to sign the Morocco ace in the January transfer window.
However, his club Fiorentina weren’t interested in the type of deal United were offering.
“I can name three clubs who were very concrete in the last two or three days of the transfer window [in January], Nordin Amrabat revealed.
“Manchester United wanted a loan with an option to buy, but Fiorentina didn’t didn’t want.”
    Mitrovic cost himself Utd move
Aleksandar Mitrovic has reportedly cost himself a big-money move to Manchester United.
That’s after being charged by the FA for shoving a referee while playing the Red Devils.
Mitrovic, 28, lost his head in Fulham’s 3-1 FA Cup defeat to United at Old Trafford earlier this month.
The Serbian reacted furiously when teammate Willian was sent off for a penalty handball.
Mitrovic was shown a straight red card for shoving Chris Kavanagh before aggressively shouting in his face.
And the striker now faces a 10-match ban after being pulled up by FA chiefs.
However, Mitrovic’s implosion could cost him a whole lot more.
The Daily Star claims he was being lined up by Man United for a big-money move this summer.
Erik ten Hag had been left impressed by Mitrovic’s impressive haul of 11 strikes – not to mention last season’s record-breaking 43 goals in the Championship.
And Mitro was seen as an alternative to loanee Wout Weghorst, who could return to Burnley this summer.
    Confident Maguire
Harry Maguire has claimed he “can’t remember losing a game for Manchester United” and has nothing to prove at the top level.
The 30-year-old Red Devils and England defender has struggled to nail down a regular place for his club this season – starting just 12 games in all competitions under Erik ten Hag.
Maguire said: “Obviously this season, I haven’t played as much as I’d like but, for my club, I feel like my form’s been good this year.
“I know people obviously look at me not playing but when I’ve played, I think in my last eight or nine starts for Manchester United we have won.
“I can’t remember losing a game for Manchester United, it must be the third week of the season.
“So my influence is still there. But of course I love playing for my country and in 50-odd caps I feel like I’ve never let my country down.”
“Obviously, last season was difficult for the club but listen, I’ve proven myself to Gareth, who works with a wide range of centre-backs.
“He has the choice of all the English centre-backs in the country and every time I’m available, I’ve been in the team. I’m sure if you ask the rest of the lads they know what I bring to the team.
    Eriksen recovering at Carrington
Christian Eriksen has stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury and is currently undergoing rehab at Man Utd’s training ground.
He has just begun doing sessions on grass as he looks to make it back in time to play again this season.
Eriksen said: “It is weird, you are normally away and now it’s more the thing you are following your national team, and you are here instead.
“That is weird, but it has happened before so you get used to it. But, still.”
    Bidders promise development
Both Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim have reportedly promised to modernise Old Trafford.
The bid from Qatar remain confident that they will buy Man Utd and are ready to spend heavily in renovating the stadium as well as investing in the team and community.
Meanwhile, Ratcliffe tabled a second offer on Thursday that outlined stages of development and how long his plans would take to be put into place.
Takeover Update: Glazers split on selling
The Glazer family are reportedly split on selling Manchester United.
The Daily Mail claim that Avram does not want to part ways with the club and that he was on a “fishing expedition” to see how much they could get for Man Utd.
Meanwhile, Joel is said to be “persuade-able” about a sale providing they receive an offer in the region of £6billion.
Additionally, the four other Glazer siblings siblings – Bryan, Kevin, Edward and Darcie – want to sell Man Utd.

    Elanga on his future
Anthony Elanga has opened up on his future and hinted that he could leave Man Utd.
The winger spoke while away with the Swedish national team and said: “I love the club, but it’s important for me to play.”
“We have a lot of conversations, not only about game time but also what is happening around. That’s the good thing about the club, we talk a lot and they help me a lot.”
    Exclusive: Ferguson to snub United
Brighotn wonderkid Evan Ferguson is set to snub a host of suitors to stay on the South Coast.
Manchester United will send scouts to watch the young Republic of Ireland international play against France tomorrow.
Tottenham and Chelsea are also admirers of Ferguson, who is having a breakout season for the Seagulls.
But the 18-year-old is in no hurry to leave Brighton and believes his development will be better served by remaining at a club where he will have more opportunities to play first-team football.
    Varane drops transfer hint
Raphael Varane has named the two clubs he would consider joining if he decided to leave Old Trafford in the near future.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, he said: “I will finish my career either in Madrid, or in Manchester, or in Lens.
“I will not move to another club [other than those].
“But Madrid seems complicated to me. Players don’t usually go back there.
“The most likely outcome today is that I will finish [my club career] in either Manchester or Lens.”
    Southgate defends Rashford withdrawal
Gareth Southgate has defended Marcus Rashford jetting off to New York after pulling out of the England squad
Three Lions boss Southgate was surprised to see Rashford posting pictures on a mini-break following his withdrawal from the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine with a toe problem.
But diplomatic Southgate said: “Once he’s ruled out of the squad, it’s entirely up to him how he spends his time.
“The players don’t get a lot of breaks. They will be flying off wherever after Sunday’s game.
“If they get 48 hours, with the schedule as it is, they have to take advantage of it.”
Rashford’s holiday is not a great look because the Manchester United forward, 25, has now pulled out of five of the last six non-tournament squads he has been picked for.

    Exclusive: Garnacho new deal pending
Alejandro Garnacho, 18, is in line for a new £50,000-a-week United contract worth TEN times his current salary.
Talks over a new deal began in December. And United insiders say there is growing confidence Garnacho will put pen to paper soon, when the small print over image rights is agreed.
He is out of contract next year, but United hold a 12-month option to extend that.
The attacker has enjoyed a fine debut campaign, making 29 appearances and scoring five goals.
Exclusive: Sheikh offers Glazers NFL sweetener
The billionaire Qatari sheikh trying to buy Manchester United hopes to persuade the Glazer family to sell — by dangling an NFL-sized carrot in front of them.
Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani put in an improved world-record £5billion offer to rival Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid a day earlier.
SunSport understands the sheikh also discussed a joint venture with the Glazers which could see NFL games in the Middle East.
Sheikh Jassim thinks buying United from the Glazers, who also own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, could kick-start a relationship which would see NFL teams take American football to the Middle East.
In recent years, team owners, including Joel Glazer, have tried to grow the popularity of the game by sending teams to London to play at Tottenham’s stadium.
And Sheikh Jassim believes the idea could give him the upper hand in ongoing negotiations.

    Fratessi interest
Man Utd are interested in Davide Frattesi, according to reports in Italy.
The Sassuolo midfielder has signed a new deal at the club, keeping him there until 2026, but United are ready to test their resolve.
Frattesi’s strengths are in possession and he could feature in the role Christian Eriksen and Marcel Sabitzer have played in alongside Casemiro in midfield.
    United eye Ferguson
Man Utd are supposedly lining up a move for Brighton striker Evan Ferguson this summer.
The 18-year-old is enjoying a breakout year on the south coast and is one of the most highly sought after youngsters in the Premier League.
Football Insider report that Brighton are readying themselves for offers.
Erik ten Hag sees bringing in a striker as a priority this summer and is looking to add youth to his attacking options.
Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund, who has been compared to Erling Haaland, is another potential alternative.
    Casemiro scores for Brazil
Casemiro netted in Brazil’s defeat to Morocco last night.
The World Cup semi-finalists again impressed, beating Brazil 2-1.
Casemiro struck from distance after receiving the ball from West Ham star Lucas Paqueta with his shot managing to find a way through Yassine Bonnou in the Moroccan goal.

Weghorst on fitting in Ten Hag’s plans
Wout Weghorst has started all 18 of Manchester United’s games since arriving on loan in January.
Anthony Martial’s problems with injury means the Dutchman has been unchallenged for a starting spot.
Speaking on his run in the team, Weghorst said, via the Mirror: “All Ten Hag said was that he needed a striker who could fit into his way of playing. He certainly did not paint the picture as it is now.
“Anthony Martial was his striker and he was doing fine – but he is injury-prone and the manager wanted all positions double-staffed.
“That’s what I came for. But Ten Hag did say clearly ‘It is up to you. You can force things and the best one plays.’ My dream has always been to get the most out of my career. To tap my ceiling. It makes me incredibly proud and happy.”
    Good morning Manchester United fans
The billionaire Qatari sheikh trying to buy Manchester United hopes to persuade the Glazer family to sell — by dangling an NFL-sized carrot in front of them.
SunSport understands Sheikh Jassim, who tabled a £5billion offer for the Red Devils, also discussed a joint venture with the Glazers which could see NFL games in the Middle East.
Sheikh Jassim thinks buying United from the Glazers, who also own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, could kick-start a relationship which would see NFL teams take American football to the Middle East.
Man Utd have sent scouts to watch Evan Ferguson, according to reports.
Football Insider claim the Red Devils are keeping tabs on the Brighton teenager, who has exploded onto the scene this season.
Man Utd met with Romeo Lavia’s dad earlier this month to discuss a potential move, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Southampton star is said to be a target for the Red Devils in the summer.
Teenager Lavia, 19, only joined the Saints from Man City last summer – but has been one of the club’s bright sparks this season.
City have an option to buy the midfielder for £40million in 2024, but that clause hasn’t kicked in yet.
Man Utd have joined the race for Chelsea star Mateo Kovacic, according to 90min.
The midfielder is out of contract in 12 months, and talks over a fresh deal are yet to progress.

Kane picked up a cross from Bukayo Saka and beat Anatoliy Trubin at the far post amid poor marking by Oleksandr Karavayev.
Saka went from creator to scorer just three minutes later with a scintillating long-range shot that hit Trubin’s top right corner and gave the Ukrainian goalkeeper no chance.

    More from Southgate
England manager Gareth Southgate revealed the positive atmosphere he has created within his squad.
Southgate added: “I love being part of this team, they are a joy to work with.
“When the new players come in, the older players make it easy for them to settle.
“They sit on tables to eat with them, they make them feel comfortable.
“If you are comfortable off the field then you can be yourself on the pitch. That’s what we try and create.”
    Credit: AFP
    Gareth Southgate speaks
England boss Gareth Southgate praised his players and specifically congratulated the midfield trio of Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham.
Southgate told Channel 4: “I was really pleased with the performance. In Italy we played well in the first half but in the second half we conceded possession too easily.
“Today we made a difficult game look straightforward. We had to be right with our pressure and our midfield were excellent.
“The way in was then to use [Bukayo] Saka and [James] Maddison one-on-one or [Ben] Chilwell around the side. We stuck to the task really well.
“I thought he had a super game – that didn’t surprise me as he’s got the personality to play that way.
“Everybody can see the technical quality but it’s the mentality that is the outstanding part. These two boys have got the humility and want to learn. They work incredibly hard for the team, are reliable and are a joy to work with.”

    Rice shines again
West Ham star Declan Rice put together another impressive performance for England.
Rice played mostly as a No6 in a 4-1-4-1 formation and made his presence felt all over midfield.
As the heat map shows below, he played a huge role in blocking Ukraine’s attacks.
    More below:

    More from Bellingham
England star Jude Bellingham is loving life playing for Gareth Southgate.
Bellingham added: “I’m loving [playing for England] at the minute.
“It feels like we’ve got a really good atmosphere in the changing-room and I think that shows on the pitch as well.
“We all want to express ourselves but we’ve got a bit of nastiness in us as well – you look at the likes of Hendo [Jordan Henderson], Dec [Declan Rice], and I think myself as well. It’s important we cover all sides of the game.”

    Jude Bellingham reacts
Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham put together another impressive performance but insists he has more to learn at England.
Bellingham said: “It was important that we followed up a really good result in Italy with another win tonight. When you do that it feels rewarding, because it’s a short camp, short turnaround, and you have to take in information really quickly. The boys did that well.
“There’s still so much I’ve still got to learn. The way I want to be as a midfielder is someone who can win you the game at both ends of the pitch and dominate the ball in the middle – I’ve always wanted to be somebody who does it a bit of everything.
“But you have the best chance with the guys in that changing-room and at Dortmund. I’m like a sponge at the minute. Any chance I get to learn about the game, I’m all in.
“At Dortmund I’m involved in the build up a lot more. I enjoy that as well but it means I can’t be as creative in the top third.
“I feel like I’m getting a sense of where the ball’s gonna land, and to be honest I think I could have done that a little bit better today. I felt I was a yard or two away from where I needed to be. But it’s all experience.”

    Bukayo Saka’s MOTM performance
England star Bukayo Saka dominated in the right wing against Ukraine.
Saka put together a stunning performance as he created Harry Kane’s opener and then produced a screamer of his own.
And as the heat map below shows the Arsenal star owned his flank.

    Updated Euro table
England remain top of Group C in the Euro 2024 qualifying round.
The Three Lions have won both their first two matches against Italy and Ukraine.
Gareth Southgate’s men are three points ahead of second-placed North Macedonia.
Ukraine, on the other hand are last as they have only played one game so far.

    England vs Ukraine stats
England dominated 58 per cent of possession against Ukraine at Wembley.
The Three Lions registered a total of 18 shots, eight of which were on target.
Ukraine, on the other hand, managed only three shots, none of which were on target.
    More below:

    FT: England 2-0 Ukraine
    Peep!
    That’s full-time at Wembley!!!
    90+2 England 2-0 Ukraine
    Chance!
England star Grealish delivers a beautiful low shot from the left but Trubin saves it with a lunge to his left!
    90 England 2-0 Ukraine

England ace Henderson delivers a stunning corner-kick from the right and finds Maguire at the far post where he delivers a header that just misses the net.
Three minutes of stoppage time to go!
    90 England 2-0 Ukraine
    Substitution
Ukraine boss Rotan makes a late change with Konoplyanka replacing Stepanenko.
    87 England 2-0 Ukraine
    Chance!
England come close to a third with Gallagher on his first touch I believe.
Chaos ensues inside Ukraine’s area and Gallagher gets a close-range shot but Trubin denies him his first ever international goal.
    87 England 2-0 Ukraine
And there’s Toney making his England debut.
The Brentford star has really shone bright this season at the Premier League.
    Credit: PA
    85 England 2-0 Ukraine
    Substitution
And there’s a double switch by England manager Southgate, who brings on Grealish and Gallagher for Maddison and Bellingham.
    83 England 2-0 Ukraine
England debutant Toney is lucky to avoid a yellow card after actually climbing on Stepanenko with a reckless challenge.
Looks like we will soon be having Gallagher on the pitch.

    80 England 2-0 Ukraine

    Substitution
England boss Southgate makes his first change and it is none other than Toney, who makes his debut and replaces Kane who gets a standing ovation.
    78 England 2-0 Ukraine
England are very comfortable and it seems like they are happy to let the clock move on.
Time is running out for any potential shock comebacks from Ukraine…
    75 England 2-0 Ukraine
Ukraine are pushing for at least one goal to please their fans, who they rarely get to enjoy due to the war.
The visitors earned a corne-kick a few minutes ago and are pushing from the wings.
    74 England 2-0 Ukraine
    Substitution
Another switch by Ukraine boss Rotan as Dovbyk comes on for Yaremchuk.
    73 England 2-0 Ukraine
Ukraine are doing everything they can but it’s important to mention what a difficult season players who are still competing at home are having due to the war.
Some have to train at different countries and then travel usually via train and bus for league matches due to their airspace being shut.
The performance is scrappy, but it’s still a heroic performance.
    70 England 2-0 Ukraine
    Chance
Saka tries another long-range shot from the right but this time he completely misses the target.
    69 England 2-0 Ukraine
    Yellow card
And we have the first booking of the match as Ukraine ace Malinovskyi brings Saka down by pulling his shirt.
The visitors are lucky as the England star was only one step away from the box!

    Battle in Group C
England will look to move three points clear at the top of Group C with a win this evening against Ukraine.
Later on tonight, Italy face Malta with Roberto Mancini’s men the heavy favourites to win.
North Macedonia are the fifth team in the group and they sit joint-top with England after beating Malta 2-1 last Thursday.
This will be Ukraine’s first game in their Euro 2024 qualification campaign.
    Chat with the PM
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has heaped praise on England record goalscorer Harry Kane – hailing him as an “all-time great”.
The striker, 29, received the congratulatory video call from the PM after bagging his 54th international goal against Italy.
Sunak said to Kane: “Massive congratulations – for what you have achieved personally, that you are the all time great.
“You’re a phenomenal captain, a phenomenal role model, and the entire country is very proud of you and lucky to have you.”
The Spurs man – who will be looking to extend his record against Ukraine tonight – replied: “It has not truly sunk in yet… but it was a special night.
“I love playing for my country so much, I want to represent it in the best way.”

    Last time they met
England have not played Ukraine since hammering them 4-0 in the Euro 2020 quarter-final in Rome.
A Harry Kane brace plus efforts from Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson fired the Three Lions into the semi-finals.
Ukraine have failed to beat England in their last four attempts, with their last victory back in 2009 when they won 1-0 and goalkeeper Robert Green was sent off.
    Ukraine starting XI
Ukraine have named three Premier League players in their starting XI to face England.
Chelsea’s big money signing Mykhailo Mudryk starts alongside Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko and Everton full-back Vitalii Mykolenko.

    England starting XI
Here is how England line-up to face Ukraine.
Harry Kane wears the captain’s armband.
Ben Chilwell, Jordan Henderson and James Maddison all start.

England to pay respects to Ukraine
Gareth Southgate has warned his England stars there is no room for sentiment against war-torn Ukraine at Wembley today.
The manager said: “We all want to pay our respects and show our support — and that’s important.
“But as soon as they enter the competition, they want to go through and it’s game on. So in a football sense we need to do what we need to do to win the game.”
“I would be worried if our players don’t have that same level of motivation Ukraine have.
“Our job is to qualify, to represent our country with the pride that Ukraine are going to represent their country with.
“We’ve got to make sure our level of motivation and focus is what it was before the game in Italy. We had a lot of drive for that.
“Because we were still smarting from the World Cup, we were smarting from previous games against Italy. Now, three days later, we’ve got to get back to that start point.”

    Maddison set to start
James Maddison is expected to make his first start for England this evening.
The Leicester midfielder, 26, made his international debut in a Euro 2020 qualifying match against Montenegro in 2019.
But he has not played for the national team since despite being named in the squad for the World Cup at the end of last year.
With Phil Foden out, it becomes likely that Maddison will take his place.
Chelsea full-back Ben Chilwell is also expected to be named on the teamsheet following Luke Shaw’s recent red card.

BREAKING: Foden out due to surgery
Phil Foden is out of the England squad to face Ukraine with injury.
The Manchester City star underwent emergency surgery this morning to remove his appendix.
An England statement read: “Phil Foden has been ruled out of this evening’s Uefa Euro 2024 qualifier with Ukraine following surgery to remove his appendix this morning.
“England manager Gareth Southgate has not called up a replacement, meaning he has 20 players to choose from after the earlier withdrawal of Reece James and Luke Shaw’s suspension.”
Foden, 22, was involved in training over the last few days and was in contention to play before he began to feel unwell.
It has been an international week to forget for him after he was subbed on and then taken off against Italy – lasting just 12 minutes before being sacrificed for Kieran Trippier after Luke Shaw’s red card.
    Kane’s special boots
England captain Harry Kane will wear special boots to celebrate him becoming the country’s all-time top goalscorer.
The number 54 is printed on them to represent how many goals he has scored in a Three Lions shirt.
Phrases such as “all time top scorer” and “captain” can be seen, along with several small England flags.
Most notably of all though is the wonderful tribute Kane, 29, leaves for his three kids.
Their names – “Vivi”, which is short for Vivienne, “Ivy” and “Louis” are visible in small black letters on the sides of the boots.
Their dates of birth are also visible alongside their name.

    Friendships aside
Ukraine star Oleksandr Zinchenko is ready to put his friendships with a number of players from the England team aside for this evening’s game.
The Arsenal defender is set to battle it out with club team-mate Bukayo Saka and potentially run into a few old pals from his former club Manchester City.
Zinchenko said: “I love them all so much, but unfortunately on the pitch there are no friends, so let’s see what is going to happen.
“Bukayo has not given me the line-up yet, but I am going to push as much as I can.”
“I got a lot of support from all of them [team-mates], for which I am so grateful.
“I would like to also say a massive thanks to all of the UK for all of the help and support for all of us Ukrainians, for the country, our people, all of the refugees who are living here.
“It is so important for us. Without your support, it would be so difficult and tough. We really appreciate it.”

    England vs Ukraine
England are looking to make it two wins from two games as they take on Ukraine at Wembley Stadium.
Gareth Southgate’s men won away at Italy 2-1 on Thursday night thanks to goals from Declan Rice and Harry Kane, getting the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign off to the perfect start.
The Three Lions are expected to name a strong starting XI for this evening’s game with few players to choose from amid an injury crisis.
Reece James, Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount all pulled out from the squad and were not replaced. Meanwhile, there are fitness doubts over Jordan Henderson, Jude Bellingham and Kalvin Phillips, but all three are expected to be fit.
Luke Shaw is suspended having been shown at red card in Naples last week.

SHEIKH JASSIM has made a SECOND huge bid for Manchester United before the extended deadline. Believed to be in the region of a massive £5billion, the bid goes head-to-head with Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who also wants to purchase the Premier League giant.
SunSport can exclusively reveal that Manchester United bidder Thomas Zilliacus wants to team up with Ratcliffe and Qataris to complete a £6billion takeover.
Speaking to SunSport, The Finnish entrepreneur said: “I have reached out to both Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim to try and join forces and am waiting to hear back.”

“The players don’t get a lot of breaks. They will be flying off wherever after Sunday’s game.
“If they get 48 hours, with the schedule as it is, they have to take advantage of it.”

    Ferguson linked
Man Utd have reportedly sent scouts to watch Evan Ferguson, according to reports.
The Football Insider claim the Red Devils are keeping tabs on the Brighton teenager, who has exploded onto the scene this season.
Ferguson, 18, recently netted twice in the 5-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Grimsby.
He also has three Premier League goals this season, as his star continues to rise.
    Mitoma blow
Brighton are planning to offer Japanese sensation Kaoru Mitoma a new contract to stave off interest from elsewhere.
Man Utd and Arsenal have been credited an interest with the Seagulls star, following his breakout season in the Premier League.
According to Football Insider, manager Roberto De Zerbi and the club’s board have begun discussion over a new double-your-money deal, which would see his weekly wage rise from £20,000 to £40,000.
Last week, we reported the Red Devils were monitoring the flying winger.
While the Gunners are also said to be fans of the wideman.
Hoddle gives Kane blessing for Utd move
Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has said he wouldn’t begrudge Harry Kane moving to Man Utd.
“Trophies are the icing on the cake for footballers,” Hoddle told Betfair.
“There are players out there who have won silverware because they were half-decent players playing in a team that won things. You can’t say those players are better than Harry Kane.
“So I don’t think we should get too carried away with Harry not winning trophies. Harry has got the best out of his career and is continuing to do so – winning a trophy would just be the icing on the cake.
“We don’t know if he’ll get a move at 34 years old and win his first trophy, that remains to be seen. I’d love to see him win one at Tottenham but if he had to move then nobody would begrudge him. He’s been patient with Tottenham.
“He’s now at a crossroads and he either signs another long-term deal in the hope things change at Spurs, or he has to sit down and tell them he wants to leave. Things need to be worked out because he does deserve to win a trophy.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if he thought he had to move and if the opportunity to do so is there, which it will be, then it also wouldn’t surprise me to see him leave.”
    Lavia meeting
Man Utd met with Romeo Lavia’s dad earlier this month to discuss a potential move, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Southampton star is said to be a target for the Red Devils in the summer.
Teenager Lavia, 19, only joined the Saints from Man City last summer – but has been one of the club’s bright sparks this season.
City have an option to buy the midfielder for £40million in 2024, but that clause hasn’t kicked in yet.
Both Man Utd and Arsenal are monitoring the situation – with the idea of making a move when the transfer window reopens.
    Utd join Kovacic race
Man Utd have joined the race for Chelsea star Mateo Kovacic, according to reports.
The midfielder is out of contract in 12 months, and talks over a fresh deal have stalled.
That has alerted Liverpool and Man City to the Croatian, 28, who could be sold by the Blues in the summer.
Now, 90min claim that Man Utd are keeping tabs on Kovacic as an alternative to Frenkie de Jong.
    Onana linked
Man Utd are reportedly keeping tabs on Andre Onana.
The Cameroon international has established himself as Inter’s No1 this season, following a string of top performances.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, United, Chelsea, and Spurs are all monitoring the shotstopper in the few months of the campaign.
The story continues that Onana won’t push for a move, but Inter would be interested in selling if they receive a mind-boggling offer.
