    Harry Kane goes 58-up
Harry Kane added another two to his England goal scoring record tonight, in a seven goal rout from the Three Lions.
That made it 58 goals for the England captain, and it means he has now 50 goals while wearing the armband.
He has been nothing short of sublime for his country, and you can’t deny his brilliance.
Many are debating online, is he the best England player of all-time?
    What do you think?

    Man of the match
There is only one man who can claim the SunSport man of the match award tonight, and that man is Bukayo Saka.
He claimed his first career hat-trick, and it will be extra-special for him, coming in an England shirt.
The first was a great finish, on his right foot, he picked up the ball from Kyle Walker and hammered it home at the near post.
His second goal was absolutely sensational, a wicked volley on his left foot into the top-left corner, and it bent beautifully away from the goalkeeper from some distance. Credit should also go to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who played a sublime pass from deep.
Then, to make it three, he is slotted through by Harry Kane and he just stroked the ball into the back of the net.
A perfect match from the Arsenal star-boy.

    Full-time match stats:
What a game we just witnessed.
England have inflicted North Macedonia’s heaviest ever defeat at Old Trafford, and they did it while restricting them to not even having a SINGLE shot on target.
The full-time match stats between England and North Macedonia
    FT. England 7-0 North Macedonia
There is no added time at the end of the second half, which the North Macedonian’s will be grateful for, it is 7-0 at the end of the game.
    What a game it was.
    88. England 7-0 North Macedonia
The corner is whipped in again, this time it is met by Harry Maguire, but the keeper makes a good save – for once…
    87. England 7-0 North Macedonia
A poor kick out from the goalkeeper falls at the feet of Conor Gallagher.
He plays the ball into Jack Grealish, whose shot takes a deflection and goes out for a corner.
    84. England 7-0 North Macedonia
England are just tapping the ball around here, reminiscent of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
They are waiting for a gap to open up, and when it does they are exploiting them and creating brilliant chances.
    81. England 7-0 North Macedonia
It’s been twelve attempts and seven goals for England in this game, compared to no attempts and no goals for North Macedonia.
    Dominant.
    79. England 7-0 North Macedonia
England seem to finally be content with seven here, and are quite happy to keep a bit of possession in their own half.
    77. England 7-0 North Macedonia
Kalvin Phillips commits a tactical foul in the middle of the park, as North Macedonia break away on the counter.
He picks up a yellow card for his efforts.
    75. England 7-0 North Macedonia
Just after scoring England’s seventh, and his 58th for his country, Harry Kane is substituted for Newcastle’s Callum Wilson.
He gives Wilson a wry smile as he comes off, knowing that he’s just robbed him of a chance to score himself.
The perks of being Mr Harry Kane…
    73. England 7-0 North Macedonia
GOAL! Harry Kane converts the penalty!
It is wonderfully dispatched by the England captain, into the top left hand corner.
    70. England 6-0 North Macedonia
    PENALTY!
England have a corner, and John Stones gets shoved over in the penalty box to win England a penalty!
    68. England 6-0 North Macedonia
Trent Alexander-Arnold is still bossing the midfield in this one, now partnered by Kalvin Phillips in the middle.
As it stands, this will be North Macedonia’s heaviest ever defeat, as they have never been beaten by a six-goal margin before.
    64. England 6-0 North Macedonia
Goal! It’s six, and it’s Kalvin Phillips!
It is brilliant work by Jack Grealish, who crosses the ball into the middle.
The ball deflects off a defender, and falls at the feet of Kalvin Phillips to tap into an empty net.
    62. England 5-0 North Macedonia
Man of the moment Jack Grealish is greeted by huge applause, and that applause is followed up by a chant from the England fans.
    It goes as such…
“He’s still on the p**s, he’s still on the p**s, Jack Grealish! He’s still on the p**s.”
You have to admire the creativity of the Three Lions faithful.
    60. England 5-0 North Macedonia
    We have SEVEN changes here.
    Four of them are English…
Marcus Rashford, Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice and hat-trick hero Bukayo Saka are being replaced by Kalvin Phillips, Jack Grealish, Phil Foden and Conor Gallagher.
Not often you can bring on a treble of treble winners from the bench.
    56. England 5-0 North Macedonia
England are still pressing here as if the score is 0-0, as Luke Shaw tracks down the North Macedonian right back and puts in a late tackle on him.
It looks as though we will see some changes now…
    53. England 5-0 North Macedonia
There was a lovely moment after Saka stroked the ball home, where all of his teammates came over and congratulated him on his third goal of the night.
But it wasn’t just those on the pitch celebrating, James Maddison, Callum Wilson and Kieran Trippier were on the bench, on their feet applauding their teammate.
That speaks volumes as to what a humble, excellent young man he is.
    Class.
    51. England 5-0 North Macedonia
GOAL! It’s five for England, it’s three for Bukayo Saka!
Harry Kane picks the ball up, and threads the ball into the path of Saka, who drives towards the goal and slots it past the keeper with ease.
That is his first ever career hat-trick, and it comes for his country.
What a story. What a player.
    50. England 4-0 North Macedonia
That was so outrageously good from both of those young Englishmen.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been sensational again tonight, and Bukayo Saka has been other-worldly.
What a performance so far from Gareth Southgate’s men.
    48. England 4-0 North Macedonia
GOAL! Wow! A screamer from Bukayo Saka!
Trent Alexander-Arnold plays a sublime pass from deep in midfield, straight over the top to Saka.
He takes two touches, one on his foot, one on his chest, before he smashes the ball into the top-left corner on his left foot.
It is a volley, curling away from the goalkeeper, and the net ripples as it does so often with him.
    What a goal. Sensational.
    46. England 3-0 North Macedonia
Back underway for the second half, and there is the first change of the game taking place for North Macedonia.
It is right back Egzon Bejtulai who is coming on in replacement of Stefan Ristovski, who was the captain in the first half.

Follow ALL the action with our live blog below…
    Fight report
    From Wally Downes Jr
Frazer Clarke laboured to a dull points win over 43-year-old veteran Mariusz Wach.
The 31-year-old 2020 Olympic bronze winner turned down a shot at Fabio Wardley’s heavyweight British title to continue his learning curve against the experienced Pole.
But it’s hard to see what he would have learned after 10 one-sided rounds the referee called a shutout of 100-90.
The straight talking Burton man said: “I think I started off well but I faded because it is extremely hot.
“I did lots right but also lots wrong, I need to do better.
“People can call me an Olympian but those 10-round pro fights are a very different thing.
“People will be saying that Wardley will flatten me now because I tire after six rounds so bring it on.”
    Making a point
Frazer Clarke went 10 rounds for the first time in his career inside a sweltering York Hall to defeat Mariusz Wach.
    Credit: Getty
    Clarke wins
Clarke’s promoter Ben Shalom then says Clarke will be back out again in September.
    Clarke speaks
“It is extremely hot in here.
“He is a difficult man to shift.”
    Frazer Clarke WINS
First 10 rounder in the bag for heavyweight star Frazer Clarke as he kicks on in his fledgling career.
Gruelling 10 rounds there too inside an incredibly hot York Hall.
    Clarke vs Wach – R10
    The final bell rings…
And there will only be one winner here.
We await the verdict for when Clarke’s name will be read.
    Clarke vs Wach – R9
    Both men tiring in now.
Must be absolutely exhausting in there in the scorching York Hall.
We go into the tenth as Clarke goes 10 rounds for the first time.
    Clarke vs Wach – R8
With the pace slowing down more and more another round with some mild success there for Wach.
Clarke still miles ahead but landing less in the last few rounds.
Best shot of the round was a counter from Clarke as Wach leaned forward.
    Clarke vs Wach – R7
Wach lands a couple of decent shots again in this round.
Is Clarke switching off as he is so far ahead?
Could be an intriguing finish here.
    Clarke vs Wach – R6
Clarke possibly having a round off here with five left.
    Slower pace in this round.
Wach taking body shots well and has improved over last few rounds.
    Clarke vs Wach – R5
First half of the fight complete and both fighters land solid blows in that on.
Solid right from Clarke but Wach takes it well.
Wach then lands a couple here.
    Clarke vs Wach – R4
Clarke pacing himself as he takes another round.
Big Fraze now aiming for the body too.
    Can he get the stoppage?
    Clarke vs Wach – R3
Bit of afters there at the end of the round.
Which was the most exciting moment of the round.
Clarke trying to up the pace as Wach continues to look to cover up.
    Clarke vs Wach – R2
Still all Clarke here at York Hall.
Wach covering up to block the attack but there’s been only one boxer fighting here.
Clarke eases to his second round.
    Clarke vs Wach – R1
Good first round for Big Fraze there.
Clarke dominated from the outset and held centre of the ring.
Wach offered nothing much in return.
Could Clarke be aiming for an early night?
    Clarke vs Wach
    The ring walks are complete.
The announcements have been and the gloves touched…
The main event gets underway NOW!
    Main event time NOW
Frazer Clarke is making his ring walk now.
Mariusz Wach had walked a gentle stroll down to the ring before.
Clarke looks up for this one as he headlines York Hall.
    Dubois wins
    The referee scored it 80-71.
Dubois remains undefeated and untested and poised for greatness.
    Dubois vs Lescano – R8
Lescano spends the last round getting pinged all over York Hall, like most of the previous seven.
But she is defiant and refuses to take a knee or breather.
Dubois will win a shutout decision here as she moves closer to a Mikaela Mayer fight.
    Dubois vs Lescano – R7
Lescano is brave but struggling to cope with the assault.
Right hooks crash into her chin and both fists pepper her body.
This one looks like it’s going the distance.
Dubois has not lost a round but Lescano is a fearless woman.
    Lescano down – R5
Dubois targets Lescano’s ribs with a handful of winding blows.
after half-a-dozen blows Lescano folds down into the ropes and canvas for a count of eight.
Dubois does not rush her mission and when Lescano touches the canvas again it is ruled a slip.
    Dubois vs Lescano – R4
A spiteful lead right hook from Dubois slaps into Lescano’s left cheek but the underdog does not wobble.
Dubois is landing big shots but the Argentine is showing a solid chin.
Trainer Shane McGuigan tells Dubois that Lescano is starting to tire now.
    Dubois vs Lescano – R3
One-two from Dubois pushes Lescano back into the ropes.
A right hook then staggers the visitor.
Lescano looks a lot more fragile than the Londoner but she is still swinging at the end of every round.
    Dubois vs Lescano – R1
Steady opener from Dubois until the very last punch of the two-minute session, a left hand that rocks Lescano’s skull backwards.
The lightweight ace punished almost every shot the South American threw.
But Lescano showed plenty of grit and is not here to fall over for money.
    Sweet Caroline
Dubois – the growing darling of women’s British boxing – steps up again now.
Argentina’s Yanina Lescano is up next.
The Shane McGuigan pupil is just about the only female with real stoppage power right now.
Will we see even more improvement from the wonderkid?

    Alexander-Arnold turns heads in midfield
At times playing for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold will drift into the centre of the park and look to control the game.

He formed a good partnership with Rice and Henderson and they dominated the Maltese midfield.

    FT: Malta 0-4 England

Great pass to the Newcastle man by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
    Malta 0-3 England

    66. Maguire looked shocked then when a player in the attacking third put a challenge in on him then.
That sums the game up really, it has been like a training game.
England counter attack and have a three on three as Foden slips Wilson in.
He tries to shoot but his shot is block by a wall of bodies.
    Malta 0-3 England
    64. This has been quite an easy runout for England tonight.
When they face more testing opposition, they will need to raise their game.
Malta have stopped pressing all over the pitch and are dropping deeper to prevent the visitors breaking the two lines of defence.
    Malta 0-3 England
    62. It has been a second half where neither keeper has been tested so far.

Wideman Phil Foden is in the background – where, sadly, he’s also been since struggling to regain his starting spot after injury.

Thousands of fans lined up along the roads as the player-less open-top bus was driven into place before City’s squad jumped on board.

The bus is snaking its way slowly through the city in heavy rain.

    Push through the rain barrier
Fans – many of who have queued for hours – aren’t being deterred by the rain ahead of City’s delayed victory parade.
But they are being frustrated by the delay.
One posted: “They keep using this forecast and its not changed since 5pm, get the parade going!!!”
Not long to wait now, chaps – just 25 minutes… weather permitting.
PSG ‘offer 2 stars for Bernardo’
Amid the build-up to City’s historic parade, it’s claimed PSG offered two Italy stars in a bid to lure Etihad hero Bernardo Silva.
Foot Mercato say the French champions offered City their midfielder Marco Verratti, 30, and 24-year-old keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
PSG have long admired Portugal midfield stylist Silva.
And asked about his future by TF1 following City’s Champions League final win, he said: “Honestly, I don’t know.
“We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks and months.
“But right now we need to celebrate because we’ve achieved something special.”
    Fans frustrated by hold-up
Eager City fans on social media seem puzzled by the delay – but club chiefs insist it’s a safety-first approach caused by bad weather.
One supporter: “It’s not even raining anymore.”
Another wrote: “Looking at the radar the weather looks like it will be even worse at 7pm.”
    Another delay….
City now say the parade won’t start until 7pm.
That’s due to “adverse weather” including “lightning storms”.

    Gate expectations
Just a reminder that fans eager to find a spot to watch the parade were alerted to a hold-up due to rain.
But the open-top journey itself should still start at 6.30pm as planned.
Fans on social media have been getting impatient.
“Open the gates,” was one typical message, while United supporters trolled online that the delay was due to a lack of City fans.
But Etihad chiefs stressed the delay was for safety reasons.

    City nearly ready…
What a change after the night before!
City’s refreshed stars are beaming in club T-shirts – just half an hour before their triumphant parade is due to start.

    All change!
It’s one of the biggest questions of the night…
Will Jack Grealish finally have got changed!
The midfielder was more emotional than most after victory over Inter Milan clinched City’s Treble.
And it seems the England star also partied longer than most!
He didn’t find time to get changed after a wild night out in Ibiza.
But of course, after the players arrived back in Manchester, Grealish and the rest of Pep Guardiola’s players will soon be looking their best.

    Fun on the way
Police are out in extra force to help ensure safety – but apart from that the focus is on fun.
Three DJ booths can be found along the route.
And City’s history-making squad should finally arrive at their final stop at around 7.30pm.
    Routing for you
The homecoming parade, due to start in 45 minutes, departs from Tonman Street in Deansgate and heads to St Mary’s Gate.
The bus will travel through Cross Street and King Street,
It will then finish on the corner of Princess Street and Portland Street.
Soon to be the NOISIEST neighbours ever
Legendary Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson once called City the “noisy neighbours”.
Well, if you throw in their fans, they are just about to become the NOISIEST ever.
A parade though the town to celebrate City’s Treble-clinching Champions League final win is still on schedule to start at 6.30pm – despite rain delaying the build-up.
And we’ll be outlining just what’s planned for this evening.
    Rainy conditions
It’s be a wet one in Manchester when the parade gets underway… but something tells me the players and fans won’t care one bit.

How did the fight pan out?
For the first six rounds, Mayweather was in complete control landing at will and evading any danger coming back his way.
Referee Kenny Bayless warned the pair throughout to stop trading trash talk and start boxing.
But by round six they would not let up on the foul-mouthed insults to the point Bayless actually called off the action.
Although Gotti was having none of it as he refused to let the fight up and immediately chased after Mayweather.
The former pound-for-pound king backed up and defended in retreat as Bayless did his best to try and stop Gotti.
As Mayweather got his back to the ropes, the two began trading leather once more – this time with lawlessly.
That is what sparked the mass melee in the ring as both teams stormed in.
What happened after the fight stopped?
Following the brawl, Mayweather and Gotti eventually had to be escorted out of the arena.
But the rivalling camps continued to scrap by the ring and backstage, until police were forced to intervene.

In the sixth round, referee Kenny Bayless called an end to the fight, but Gotti continued to swing at the 46-year-old until both teams intervened.
The brawl then continued for several minutes.
    ‘Punk’
John Gotti III has broken his silence on the mass brawl which followed his showdown with Floyd Mayweather.
Chaos ensued after referee Kenny Bayless waved off the fight for too much trash-talking, with Gotti trying to attack Mayweather against the ropes.
Mayweather fended off the telegraphed punches and rocked the grandson of the notorious New York gangster – John Gotti – with a right hand before close to 30 people flew into the ring.
And a fired-up Gotti took to Instagram to take aim at the boxing icon.
Along with an aerial video of the melee, he wrote on his Instagram story: “Punk b***h @FloydMayweather. You my enemy for life.”
Gotti then put out a backup request to Mayweather’s last professional opponent, UFC legend Conor McGregor.
He wrote: “@TheNotoriousMMA we need back-up.”
    Fight After Fight
A reality TV star and a rapper were seen brawling in shocking scenes after Floyd Mayweather’s fight was abandoned.
Rapper Big Lex was seen in a scrap with Puerto Rican TV personality Joseline Hernandez backstage in the FLA Arena in Miami.
The American boxing legend returned for an exhibition bout, this time with the grandson of notorious mob boss John Gotti.
But the fight in Florida came to a dramatic end when a massive punch up in the ring between the two camps saw the whole thing KO’d.
And afterwards a shocking brawl broke out between two celebrity fans.
Joseline – aka The Puerto Rican Princess – looked to have Lex in a headlock at one point, which forced the singer’s dress to come off and exopse her breasts.
Security men rushed to intervene and pull the two women apart.
It’s not clear what started the fight, but the brawl came after an unknown woman threw water at Joseline.

    Mayweather vs Gotti III
The fight was stopped by ref Kenny Bayless because the pair refused to stop trash talking each other.
But Gotti was having none of it which sparked the brawl.
Over 60 people ended up in the ring – causing police to intervene.
    What just happened?
Referee Kenny Bayless looked to have stopped the bout in round six but Gotti was not having any of it.
He immediately chased after Mayweather, who backed up and defended in retreat.
It sparked a mass brawl in the ring as both teams stormed in and began to throw punches at each other.
There was no sign of the brawling ending, causing Mayweather to be escorted out of the arena.
But the rivalling camps continued to scrap by the ring and backstage, causing police to try and intervene.
    Mayweather vs Gotti III
There is still carnage ensuing around the ring.
Both Mayweather and Gotti have been escorted out but the camps are STILL fighting.
Security can’t contain it and it’s utter bedlam here.
    THE FIGHT IS ALL OVER
A huge brawl has broken out in the ring between the opposing teams.
Referee Kenny Bayless looks to have stopped the bout but Gotti wasn’t having any of it and he went after Mayweather.
Both teams stormed into the ring and the camps began to brawl.
    Mayweather vs Gotti III
Round 5 – Mayweather landed a lovely right uppercut at the start of the round.
But by the end of it there was more trash talking then boxing.
Mayweather seems to have stepped of the gas, for now at least.
    Mayweather vs Gotti III
Round 4 – Things got testy in that round.
Mayweather showboated for much of it, flicking out jabs from his hip.
At one point, Gotti complained of a rabbit punch to the back of his head but Mayweather followed it up with another right but was met with a counter back.
    Mayweather vs Gotti III
Round 3 – Floyd rolling back the clock at times in the round, at one point ducking underneath a combination from Gotti.
A few nice body shots also landed for Mayweather, who is controlling it with ease.
Gotti looks to be out of ideas already.
    Mayweather vs Gotti III
Round 2 – Another big round for Mayweather.
Gotti doesn’t seem to have much answer for the speed and accuracy.
Mayweather yet to really open up but he’s warming into it nicely.
    Mayweather vs Gotti III
    Round 1 –
Very dominant first round for Mayweather.
He came out with intent, firing right hands and left hooks.
At one point he even had Gotti on the ropes and forced to cover up. He’s not come to play around.
    Seconds out
    And here we go.
After a bit of a wait for fans around the ring to clear, the fight is finally on.
Aged 46, Floyd Mayweather is back in the ring.
    The champ is here
Here comes Floyd Mayweather, holding his grandson in his arms as he walks to the ring.
He is joined by his daughter and the rest of his entourage.
We are moments away from the main event now.
    Money May
Mayweather has faced stars of the MMA, social media and celebrity boxing world since boxing in exhibition bouts.
His last came in February against reality TV favourite-turned fighter Aaron Chalmers, 36, at a near-empty O2 Arena in London.
And Gotti III – whose grandfather John Gotti ran the Gambino crime family in the late 80s and 90s – will be the next to face Mayweather.
The 30-year-old is a 5-1 MMA fighter and 2-0 boxer who brings an army of fans from New York to Florida.
But Mayweather said: “Remember, I’ve fought all around the world, every country I’ve fought in.
“Remember this, when we get in the ring it’s up to the two fighters. It has nothing to do with crowd.
“They can scream, they can holla, they can shout. This is what I do at the end of the day.
“I don’t have to brag, I don’t have to boast, I don’t have to tell you what I can do, the world knows what I can do.
“So he has to show the world what he can do.”

    Weathering the storm
Floyd Mayweather boasted of still having all his faculties intact as he prepares for another exhibition fight.
The boxing legend at aged 46 is back in action, this time against John Gotti III, grandson to one of America’s most notorious crime bosses.
It will be Mayweather’s SEVENTH exhibition since officially retiring in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 34.
And the unbeaten Hall of Famer – who was never floored in his career – is reaping the rewards of his defensive style all these years later.
Mayweather said: “With an event like this, it’s truly amazing to still have all my faculties.
“The aim of the game is to hit and not get hit, that’s why I was able to be in the sport of boxing as a professional for 27 years.”
    Feeling blue
So we haven’t got Floyd Mayweather walking out to fight but we do have rapper Blueface performing.
Others may know him for fighting and beating TikTok star Ed Matthews at Wembley Arena not long ago.
Should maybe stick to the rapping.
    The stars are out
One fight left till Floyd Mayweather and all the stars are out.
Rapper Rick Ross has shown up, as has ex-Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Luckily for them, they missed the dross undercard action.
    Diaz vs Karim
Finally we have a somewhat decent fight to watch.
Both men have landed decent shots but Karim is the slicker of the two.
Diaz looks heavy on his feet and too easy to hit so far.
    Up next
Ulysess Diaz and Khalas Karim provide the co-headline.
Apparently these to have fought before, in London when Floyd Mayweather faced Aaron Chalmers.
But infamously no one showed up to the O2 event, so who knows who won the fight between Diaz and Karim.
    Miller vs Zepeda
    Thankfully, it’s over.
Jarrell Miller labours through four exhibition rounds and will no doubt call out Tyson Fury again.
Hopefully Miller gets hidden in these exhibitions for the rest of his career.
    Miller vs Zepeda
The crowd are getting more and more restless, as am I.
Miller in fairness is trying to put some shots together but Zepeda fancies tucking up and holding on.
Another stinker to keep the crowd disinterested.

    What has Taylor said?
Josh Taylor seems to have put the controversial win behind him and is confident of putting on a better showing against Teofimo Lopez
“I’ve come over here to say hello to him and he’s went away hiding,” Taylor told Sky Sports.
I flew over halfway across the world to come say hello to him and pull him up really. See what are you going to say, what time is it? But he’s not here. He’s not showed up. He’s got no backside.
“So you can see he’s a little bit fragile and a little bit mentally weak. So I can definitely use that to my advantage.
“He’s a very good fighter. Stylistically I think it’s a very good fight for myself as well with the way he comes to fight.
“He comes looking for you and doesn’t take a backwards step. He’s a very aggressive, front-foot pressure fighter.”
    Taylor made
A lot of fans weren’t happy with the result of Josh Taylor’s last win as he retained his undisputed super-lightweight titles in Glasgow. The judges scorecards had Taylor, who was knocked down in round eight, winning with scores of 114-111, 113-112, 112-113.
Catterall took to Twitter just before 1am to make his feelings known after being robbed of a stunning victory.
He wrote: “What a load of s***!”

Welcome to Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez
Josh Taylor and Teofimo Lopez are all set to face off in a tasty junior-welterweightfight tonight – and fans can expect fireworks.Taylor hasn’t competitively stepped foot in the ring since a 2022 controversial split decision victory over Jack Catterall in Glasgow.
Taylor became the undisputed junior-welterweight champion in 2021 after beating Jose Ramirez in a brilliant performance in Las Vegas.
Since then, Taylor has relinquished the WBC, WBC and IBF belts, leaving him with the WBO strap for Lopez to go after.
Lopez famously beat Vasiliy Lomachenko to become unified lightweight champion in 2020.
He then lost his titles to George Kambosos Jr, but has rebounded with wins over Pedro Campa and Sandor Martin, the latter of which could’ve come out with the decision himself.
