    CARS

His prized motor is a customized USSV Rhino GX believed to be worth $330,000.
Inside the seven-seater, there’s a massive built-in TV, complete with Apple CarPlay so passengers can watch Apple TV and stream iTunes on the sound system.

    LOVE LIFE
Davis is married to Instagram influencer and model Vanessa Posso.
With over 720,000 followers on the social media platform, she has a huge audience.
Brands including Fashion Nova have put that to use, hiring Davis to share paid partnerships wearing their clothing.
Posso also has a jewelry company called RichGirlz, that has been “specializing in body chains and sterling silver jewelry since 2010.”
They have a daughter together called Giovanna Thalia.
Garcia’s love life is a bit more complicated.
He previously dated Catherine Gamez, who comes from a wealthy family in Colombia.
They welcomed a daughter called Rylie in 2019, but split soon after.
Garcia then shacked up with Instagram model Drea Celina.

She, too, fell pregnant with his child – giving birth to his second daughter, Bela in 2020.
However, they were rocked by scandal when she was seven weeks away from her due date, after Garcia was caught kissing TikTok star Malu Trevejo on camera.
Celina took to Instagram and labeled her beau, “a piece of s**t.”
She also claimed he didn’t see his first daughter.
Garcia issued an apology – insisting the pair were working on their relationship. It is unclear if they are together or not.
    HOME FIT FOR A KING
Last year, TMZ reported that Californian Garcia dropped a cool $3million on a place in southern California.
The home is in Porter Ranch about 30 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
The house has five bedrooms and six bathrooms and is spread over 3,680 square feet.
The location in the mountains provides stunning views over the city.
And there is an outdoor pool and fireplace to enjoy the California weather from.

Realtor Brandon Soufer posted a photo of Garcia with a huge framed photo of him wearing a crown and WBC belt.
He added: “Congratulations to my brother @kingryan for purchasing his first home with me.
“I am honored to have had the opportunity to be a part of this big step in your life.
“Cheers to many more accomplishments together for us to celebrate. Love you my brother.”
    BODY ART
Another pastime, aside from collecting outrageously expensive cars, the two share is a love of tattoos.
Garcia’s upper torso is now dominated by a number of striking tattoos.
He started to increase his body art in early 2021 and now boasts over 10 tattoos around his shoulders and chest alone.
He has two lions on either side of his chest, reportedly to signify strength and point toward his “KingRy” nickname.
There are also the words “Shock the World” inked on the back of his shoulder, while on his right arm is a cross.
Garcia was baptized in January 2021 and takes his faith seriously.
He explained: “The cross [tattoo signifies] the strength, the power in my right hand.

Davis is covered head-to-toe in body art
Gervonta Davis showed off his Michael Jackson Thriller tattoo on Instagram
“Don’t underestimate the left one either, as it too has got that power.”
A dove on his right shoulder is said to signify “the holy spirit that guides me,” while there’s also a laurel wreath around his neck.
Davis is covered head-to-toe in tatts.
He now has more than 20 separate pieces, including a gorilla’s face on his chest, a tat that reads “Blessed” on his neck and a pair of boxing gloves on his bicep.
Davis also sports a “hidden” tattoo on the underside of his right forearm, which depicts the Playboy bunny.
And the tattoos are not just restricted to his upper body, with Davis sporting a women’s portrait on his lower leg and a bizarre tribute to Michael Jackson’s Thriller on his right thigh.
    JEWELRY
Where Davis has Garcia beaten is in the jewelry department.
Although the younger boxer has a $42,000 Rolex Day-Date Oyster Perpetual in 18 ct yellow gold with a champagne-color dial and a diamond-gold necklace with his nickname on, it’s the former who is dripping in expensive jewels.
Davis is often decked out in diamond-encrusted necklaces, expensive watches and chunky rings.
His collection runs into the millions of dollars – but in 2019, Davis suffered a break-in where over $6million worth of bling was taken.
    Read More on The Sun
The robbery occurred just hours after Davis boasted about a gold chain and timepiece on Instagram.
He begged for their safe return, writing: “Yo somebody broke into my house here in Cali and stole my jewelry [sic]…If somebody try to sell it let me know!”

While World Cup winner Kante, 32, prefers the simple life, despite pocketing £290,000-per-week.
Before the pair face off against one another when Chelsea take on Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg, SunSport compares their very different lifestyles.
From the humble Kante to the free-spending Benzema, here’s what they like to splash their cash on.
    Cars
When it comes to motors, serial Champions League winner Benzema boasts an epic fleet of supercars worth around £6million.
    read more Chelsea news
Most recently he has been seen driving a £160,000 Lamborghini Urus, but his prized possession is a £2.5million Bugatti Chiron he bought in 2021.
The forward also has a very rare Bugatti Veyron, which cost £1.5million – but now being a collector’s item is worth much more than that.
Then there’s a £200,000 Ferrari 458 Spyder and a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren that is appreciating in value and could be worth up to £400,000 in today’s market – all sitting comfortably in Benzema’s garage.
    Least we forget a Lamborghini Gallardo £220,000 and a £250,000 Rolls-Royce Wraith.

Kante does things a little bit different. It is believed his second-hand Mini Cooper, which costs around £20k brand new, is still his ride.
He reportedly bought it when he signed for Leicester City in 2015, and has refused to part with it ever since.
Former team-mate Antonio Rudiger told The Players’ Tribune: “Everything with NG [Kante] is authentic. Even the Mini Cooper — people laugh about it, but there is a real story behind it.
“It was a dream for NG to make it to the Premier League, coming from where he came from, and the Mini was the first car that he bought when he got to England.
“So for him, it is not just a car. It has a deep meaning.”

    Fashion & shopping
When it comes to fashion, you can forget about Kante spending money on designer clothes.
Often spotted in leisure wear and trainers, the midfield general turned up to the 2018 wedding party of Cesc Fabregas and Daniella Semaan in Ibiza wearing a white spotted shirt with navy shorts.

Benzema is a totally different animal.
On his crowning glory at last year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony, he wore a fitted black tuxedo over a banded collar shirt in a nod to a famous outfit worn by Tupac Shakur at the 1996 American Music Awards.
Matched with expensive Jean Paul Gaultier frames and a Cartier bracelet and Richard Mille watch, he was a picture of elegance.
In 2019, he modelled a Fendi collection, while he’s often front row at Paris Fashion Week.
His go-to designer is Balenciaga, who he is often spotted wearing.

“@nglkante what a player and what a human being! Very kindly took a picture with me and was so polite.
“Listened patiently to what I had to say, so humble for a player of such class!”
    Mobile phones
According to Blues team-mate Kai Havertz, Kante has had the same phone for ten years.
He said: “There’s an image of footballers, all fancy and diamonds and this and that.

Benzema splashed around £3,000 on his customised 24k gold iPhone
“I have met players who spend so much on things where you think: ‘Why do you do this? There are players who don’t care but others do. It’s not always about saying: ‘I did this.’ That’s sometimes a bit fake.
“N’Golo Kante is another. He’s had the same phone for 10 years, doesn’t care about cars, doesn’t care about clothes.”
On the other hand, Benzema commissioned iPhone Gold to make him a customised 24k gold iPhone costing somewhere in the region of £3,000.
    Holidays
When the season ends, Benzema takes himself on a well-deserved holiday.
He will travel in luxury, seen taking a private jet to glam destinations including Ibiza and Los Angeles.
Often, he will share his travels to his 69million followers on Instagram – who are wowed by the lifestyle he leads, which includes renting luxury yachts or going on safari.

Ex-Liverpool star Daniel Agger is a tattoo artist and even invested in sewers when his career came to an end

DANIEL AGGER’S retirement is much like his playing career – mixing dirty work and artistry.Following his premature hanging up of the boots in 2016, at the age of 31, the former Liverpool hard-man decided to put money into his passion and necessity: tattoos and poop.
Former Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is now a qualified tattoo artist
The Danish defender, now head coach at HB Koge, trained to be a tattoo artist and is now part of one of the biggest parlours across the world, called Tattoodo.
But for Agger that was not it, as he had more money to invest in s***.
Now 38, Agger launched a company in 2013 called KloAgger, putting £450,000 into a company that manages sewage systems in his native Denmark.
So how did they come up with the name? KloAgger translates to ‘Agger toilet’.
Agger is regularly involved with the firm but his younger brother Marco and their friend Rune Rasmussen oversee the day-to-day ongoings.
Inked-up Agger is more interested in the tats.
He started and finished his career at Danish club Brondby, and it was as a 15-year-old youth player that he got his first work done.
“I was about 15 and on a school trip to Paris,” Agger said in an interview on Tattoodo’s website.

“It wasn’t something I’d thought about before. Me and a friend went into the shop and said that’s what we’re going to have and we got it. I still have it today.”
But it’s been added to dramatically, with almost every inch of his body containing a tattoo.
There’s the Viking graveyard across his back, the love hearts on his calves, Latin proverbs all over his body and the names of his family members etched in.
“I see it as one piece,”, the qualified tattooist said. “When I speak to people I talk about my tattoo as one piece but obviously every tattoo has a story, some better than others.”
One of the more recent is the ‘YNWA’ stamped onto his knuckles – the well-known Liverpool acronym for Anfield’s anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone.
“Timing was quite good,” Agger said. “[There were] a lot of rumours sending me to another club for a lot of money but I knew I was staying.
“Somehow I wanted to show that to the footballing world and this was a way I wanted to show it.”
Agger did eventually leave Liverpool in 2014 and spent two years at Brondby before ending his career earlier than expected.
Back problems throughout his career saw Agger rely on painkillers to see him through, but he believes they were his downfall.

“I have taken too many anti-inflammatories in my career,” he told Jyllands-Posten.
“I know that full well, and it sucks, but I did stop it [in the end]. I am not gaining anything personally from saying this but I can only hope that other athletes do.
“It could be that others take a pill or two less.”
Agger’s passion for tattooing has somewhat been put on the back burner following his venture into management.
The Dane took charge of First Division side HB Koge in March 2021 along with former international team-mate Lars Jacobsen.
Agger guided his troops to a seventh-placed finish last season.
However, he will no doubt be fuming with his squad today after they suffered a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of FC Fredericia at the weekend.

World’s most expensive footballer Gigi Lentini had affair with Juventus ace’s wife & ended up in coma after 125mph crash

IN the summer of 1992, Gianluigi Lentini had the world at his feet.A blessed winger, his pace, strength and comfortability with both feet made him the most sought-after player in Italian football.
Wing-wizard Gianluigi Lentini was once the world’s most expensive playerCredit: Getty
Today, Lentini lives a pared down life in a small village in Turin
Lentini tried his hand at beekeeping and launched a shop that has since closed
Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan went head-to-head in the battle to sign him from Torino.
Aged just 23, he became the world’s most expensive player when the Rossoneri splashed £13million on the superstar in making.
The trappings of fame saw ‘Gigi’ enjoy Milan’s nightlife, while embarking on a sordid affair with Italia ’90 hero Salvatore ‘Toto’ Schillaci’s wife.
Then, just a year later, Lentini would crash his canary-yellow Porsche 911 at 125mph in a rush to see his new love.
    read more football news
A fractured skull and busted eye-socket saw the maverick placed in an induced coma.
He returned at the end of the season, but was a shadow of his former self in the coming years – perhaps tormented by the spectre of the talent he once was.
In later years, he would try his hand at becoming a beekeeper.
Most recently, he landed in hot water with the Italian authorities for allegedly lending money to a local crime boss.
    Most read in Football
His story is one of caution, regret and disappointment.
    The rise
A youth product at Torino, Lentini was instrumental in the club’s promotion from Serie B.
Talk of a lanky wonderkid emerging from the second division began in those early weeks of the 1990-1991 season.
Third game in, Lentini was able to demonstrate his dribbling skills in a match against Inter Milan – with their German World Cup-winning core of Lothar Matthaus, Jurgen Klinsmann, and Andreas Brehme in tow.
It was the latter who was run ragged by the wing-wizard, who travelled 45-yards with the ball, before slamming it past Walter Zenga to seal a 2-0 win. The boy had become the man.
Torino would reach the Uefa Cup final that season, narrowly losing to an Ajax side that boasted Dennis Bergkamp on away goals – giving their fans incredible memories by knocking out the mighty Real Madrid in the semi-final, a tie where Lentini announced himself to the world.
His performances would earn him a world record £13million move to Silvia Berlusconi’s AC Milan – who were the epitome of success in the country at the time.
He would later tell the Chronicle of his fee: “At that time I knew I had great talent – I was at the top of the world.”
But, he wasn’t the only superstar. Former Ballon d’Or winner Jean-Pierre Papin was signed that same summer for a then transfer record £10million, only to be eclipsed by Lentini a month later.
In 1992, AC Milan presented Lentini as a £13m signing

Wing-wizard Gianluigi Lentini was once the world’s most expensive player
Lentini would have to fit in among the likes of Marco Van Basten, Ruud Gullit, and Roberto Donadoni in Fabio Capello’s squad.
He would show glimpses of his quality – netting seven league goals to win the Serie A title.
A loss to Marseille in the European Cup final, though, would put a dampener on his season, as the Italian press made him the scapegoat for defeat.
    The scandal
With an elevated status came an embarrassment of riches.
The simple boy from the small village of Carmagnola was new to the cosmopolitan life of living in one of Italy’s most vibrant cities.
Entranced by the discoteque, he reportedly succumbed to Milan’s nightlife.
The holidays to party island Ibiza he took as a Toro up-and-comer, before his new found hedonism, were just a pre-cursor.
By this time, Lentini had embarked in an illicit affair with blonde beauty Rita Bonaccorso, better known as Juventus ace Salvatore Schillaci’s wife.
‘Toto’ was the breakout star of Italia ’90 – but his marriage to Bonaccorso was on the wane, following reports of alleged affairs.
Lentini began enjoying the trappings of fame
Salvatore Schillaci’s wife embarked on an affair with Lentini
As she put it: “I fell in love with Gigi as a reaction, because Toto had been seeing another woman for months, indeed he lived with her together. I told him, ‘Sooner or later I’ll make you pay'”.
One day, in a hurry to see his beloved lover, it would be Lentini who would me made to pay.
    Life-changing accident
Gigi was in Genoa with Milan for a preseason tournament, with Bonaccorso longing to see him in Turin.
Hurried, he jumped into his speedy Porsche 911 and raced along the A21 motorway.
The motor suffered a flat tyre, forcing Lentini to pull into a service station to get a temporary one fitted.
He got straight back onto the road, not knowing the skinnier replacement wheel wasn’t designed to be driven over 50mph.
After losing control at an alleged 125mph, the Porsche flipped off the road and into a ditch.
Luckily, a following lorry driver managed to pull Lentini from the wreckage before it became a ball of flames.
After suffering multiples injures, the most serious being a cracked skull and damaged eye-socket, he was put in an induced coma for two days.
The wreckage of Lentini’s scorched Porsche 911
    The fall
Lentini returned in 1993, although his team-mates noticed quickly the swashbuckling winger had lost his mojo.
He suffered memory-loss, periods of blurred vision, and dizzy spells.
Many believe the coma robbed him of his cognitive skills.
AC Milan legend Marcel Desailly once revealed: “You could see the skills, how he was before the accident and after the accident, the balance was completely different”.
In the next three seasons, Lentini would rarely feature – scoring just six league goals.
He left for Atalanta, where he briefly regained enough form to earn a call-up to Arrigo Sacchi’s Italy squad in 1996.
But a return to Torino a year later, who were then in Serie B, ended hopes of being an Azzuri regular.
That would kick-start the fall, where he would next play for Consenza until 2004 in the fourth division.
He bounced around in the amateurs, before quitting the game in his hometown, Carmagnola.
Lentini would struggle in his later years at MilanCredit: Getty
Lentini would end his professional playing at Cosenza in the fourth division
    The aftermath
Today, Carmagnola is where Lentini, now 54, continues to live.
He harbours no regrets and is happy to be around friends he grew up with – playing pool in the local bar.
In 2019, he became a beekeeper – producing his own honey in his shop, Miele Lentini.
    Sadly, it’s no more.
Recently, Lentini found himself quizzed by Italian authorities after giving a local crime boss €100,000.
Gigi never denied handing over the cash, and insisted it was just a loan.
The man was later found not guilty of extortion – with Lentini appearing naive to the situation.

The Norwegian hotshot, still only 22, has signed the biggest boot deal in football history with the sportswear giants – worth a whopping £20million over at least 10 years.
Nike confirmed the coup by releasing a statement that said: “His record-breaking scoring has put a stamp on the future of the game, and makes him the heir to No 9 — the next-generation striker.”
Haaland was reportedly swayed to sign with the American company because of their long-term affiliation with Brazil legend Ronaldo.
And they aren’t the only company who pay staggering sums to be associated with the superstar striker.

According to reports, Haaland is paid handsomely by his employers, Manchester City.
A sum to the tune of £900,000-per-week has been suggested in the past by the Daily Mail.
They claim while he receives a basic salary of close to £400,000, in line with other stars at the club, it’s performance bonuses that beef it up.
The report adds City could pay Haaland £45million for his first season as a Cityzen.

On Instagram, he’s modelled watches and phones for the South Korean electronics company.
But this year, he was spied holding an iPhone while on international duty.
It’s not known if he still has a deal with Samsung – but that was reportedly worth £2million.

He joins A-listers Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, and Adam Driver – who all rep the brand.
It is believed Haaland was paid around £1million for the privilige.
Late last year he was seen modelling various version of the watch, including a Chronomat GMT 40 worth £4,700.
“Erling Haaland is built for scoring goals,” Breitling wrote alongside an Instagram post of him showing off the timepiece.
“That’s as much due to his size and speed as to his textbook center-forward style of play. At only 22, he’s already considered one of the best football players in the world.
“As the all-star squad member behind the new Chronomat GMT 40, he shows us what it means to live the moment.”

    Hyperice
Through the years, sports stars have been using tools to aid recovery, which Hyperice provide.
Their most prominent product, the NormaTec uses dynamic air compression to create a restorative massage to users.
Looking like Michelin Man-style trousers, Haaland and many more are devoted to them after match days.
Haaland loves their products so much, not only is he an ambassador, he also has equity in the business that’s now worth a staggering £560million.
He said: “My partnership with Hyperice makes total sense for me – as a footballer, training and performance are everything and Hyperice’s products allow me to be at my best, and elevate my recovery process to the next level, meaning I can continue to perform and do what I love.
“It’s not just the physical benefits either, it’s an act of self-care that has a great impact on my mental well-being too.
“Hyperice is a company continuing to do great things in the wellness recovery space and I’m excited to be part of the journey as an ambassador and an investor.”

    Viaplay
Also last year, Haaland inked a deal with Viaplay – lining up alongside Max Verstappen, another ambassador for the Norwegian streaming service.
With Viaplay holding Premier League rights in his homeland, it made sense for both parties when Haaland made the move to our shores.
Immediately, they produced the documentary Haaland: The Big Decision that chronicled his move to City.
“All my life I’ve watched and supported English football. To be able now to play in the Premier League is a dream come true,” Haaland revealed.
“Joining up with Premier League rights holders Viaplay in an ambassador role is something I look forward to. I’m sure we’ll have many fun years together.”

Managers who have returned to their former clubs, from Mourinho to Zidane, as Chelsea consider Frank Lampard as boss

THEY say never go back – but these managers defied that sentiment by returning to their former clubs. The likes of Jose Mourinho, Louis van Gaal and Zinedine Zidane were all re-installed as gaffer, after formerly tasting success with their ex-teams.

Jose Mourinho famously returned to Chelsea – winning the Premier League in his second stint
    Some enjoyed success, some didn’t.
As Chelsea consider bringing Frank Lampard back to Stamford Bridge in the interim, SunSport looks at managers who dramatically went back to their past teams.
And more importantly, we look at how well they did… starting off with the Special One.
    Jose Mourinho
After tasting Champions League success with Porto in 2004, Mourinho was hired by Roman Abramovich’s Blues.
    Most read in Football
He won the Premier League two years in a row – building a formidable Chelsea side, that also lifted the FA Cup once and the League Cup (twice).
He left the club in 2007, following a poor start to the league campaign and a rift with Abramovich.
However, both let bygones be bygones – and Jose returned in 2013 to lead the Blues to the Premier League title in his first season back in English football.
In his second, though, it would emphatically implode – with Chelsea losing nine of their first 16 games and Mourinho reportedly falling out with his players, he was sacked yet again in 2015.
    Most read in Football
    Louis van Gaal
Astonishingly, van Gaal has managed the Dutch national team three times, including most recently at the World Cup in Qatar.
And in club football, he’s equally as loyal.
The ex-Man Utd tactician managed Barcelona from 1997-2000 and 2002-2003.
In his first stint he won LaLiga twice, as well as the Copa del Rey once and a Uefa Super Cup.
However, his second stint saw him leave the club by mutual consent after just seven months – with the Catalans languishing in 12th place in the league.

    Massimiliano Allegri
Serial winner Allegri won five Serie A titles with Juventus, and was a Champions League runner-up twice.
He left Juventus in 2019 with a win percentage of 70.48 per cent, the highest in the history of the club.
His replacement, Andrea Pirlo proved to be a disappointment so Allegri returned to the hot-seat just two two years later.
Currently, things aren’t going to plan.
Financial irregularities saw the Old Lady docked points in the league, and they currently sit seventh – outside the Champions League places.
Worse still, they crashed out the Champions League at the group stages and are now trying to win the Europa League.

    Harry Redknapp
Harry went from Portsmouth to Southampton and then back to Fratton Park, in an exceptional turn of events.
During his first spell at Pompey, he helped the club get promoted to the Premier League before decamping to their bitter south coast rivals.
After less than a year at the Saints, Redknapp returned to Portsmouth – with some fans unsure he should be welcomed back so freely.
Redknapp won them all over by finishing eighth in the league, following that up with an FA Cup win a year later.
He then went on his way to manage Spurs.

    Zinedine Zidane
Real Madrid are the king of reappointments – currently having Carlo Ancelotti at the club for his second spell.
But it’s Zidane who trumps the Italian maestro in the Champions League stakes.
The mercurial Frenchman won the heralded trophy three years in a row from 2016-2018 in his first spell.
His second, which began 10 months later in 2019, saw him lift the LaLiga title.
Zinedine Zidane was a serial winner at Real Madrid
    Kevin Keegan
Keegan was the messiah at Newcastle when he managed the club from 1992-1997.
When he arrived, the club was in disarray at the bottom of the old Second Division.
Keegan swiftly earned promotion to the top flight, before leading a title charge in the 1995-1996 season – cruelly being pipped by Man Utd in the end.
He resigned in 1997, with the pressures of the job taking their toll.
In 2008, Keegan was welcomed back by the St James’ Park faithful.
But a fallout with Mike Ashley, coupled with poor form, saw him sacked from his role.

    Kenny Dalglish
In the 1980s, ‘King Kenny’ was the darling of Liverpool – winning three league titles and two FA Cups.
He resigned in 1991 – later admitting that pressure and the strain after Hillsborough proved to be contributing factors to him leaving.
Following stints at Blackburn Rovers, where he won the Premier League, then Newcastle and Celtic as a director of football, Kenny came back home.
In 2011, he was handed the reigns on a caretaker basis – eventually winning a three-year contract for his work.
The following season, Liverpool landed the League Cup (their first trophy in six years) and reached the FA Cup final – losing to Chelsea 2-1.

However, an eighth-placed finish and failure to qualify for the Champions League cost Kenny his role, and he was sacked that summer.

Chelsea manager target Luis Enrique is an extreme sports junkie who ran the Marathon des Sables and an Ironman Triathlon

MOVE over Robert Downey Jr, here’s the real Iron Man.Should Luis Enrique land the Chelsea job, expect the Spanish coach, 52, to demand his team give their all and don’t stop running for 90 minutes.
Luis Enrique competed in the gruelling Marathon des Sables in 2008

The ex-Spain boss has reportedly flown to London for more talks with Chelsea, according to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook.
That follows the preliminary talks Enrique had, along with another target Julian Nagelsmann.
Chelsea are hopeful the former Spain boss will take over immediately with caretaker boss Bruno Saltor potentially unwilling to stay until the end of the season due to his connection to Graham Potter.
If Enrique is unwilling to take charge now Todd Boehly could appoint Frnak Lampard on an interim basis until the end of the season, SunSport understands.
If he takes the hotseat, the Blues will have an adrenaline junkie who has shown tremendous stamina in the past and has completed the most gruelling race EVER.
In 2008, the LaLiga winner (as both a manager and player) ran the Marathon des Sables, an endurance race that’s the equivalent of six marathons.
And it’s not the mileage that’ll kill, but the extreme conditions.
Des Sables takes place in the uncompromising surroundings of the Sahara desert, where temperatures can exceed 50 degrees centigrade.
Over six days, competitors have to complete 156 miles to finish the ultramarathon.
The longest stage lasts an incredible 57 miles.
And it’s such a hard task, competitors MUST carry all their provisions in a backpack.
The Marathon des Sables was created by French concert promoter Patrick Bauer in 1986.
Ever since then it’s been an annual event attracting thousands of runners every year.

Enrique was renowned for being a hard-working and energetic player during his days at Barcelona and Real Madrid.
So, when he hung up his boots in 2004 it wasn’t too much of a surprise to see him keep up his fitness.
However, his love of pushing himself to the limits seems now more impressive than his football career.
In 2005, he ran the New York Marathon in a time of 3:14:09.
Cycling and swimming are totally different from running. The training is far more pleasant.Luis Enrique
A year later he tried his hand at the Amsterdam Marathon and clocked in at 3:00:19.
Then at the Florence Marathon in 2007, Luis finished the race in an astonishing 2:58:08.
And if you think that’s great, wait till you hear this.
In the same year, Enrique took part in the 2007 Ironman competition in Germany.
That’s a 140-mile triathlon race that’s been dubbed the hardest endurance race in the world.
The adrenalin junkie isn’t just partial to a spot of running either.
The keen surfer, who loved crashing waves when he lived in Australia, loves cycling too.
He finished the Quebrantahuesos – a 127-mile race through the Pyrenees – which loosely translated means “bone crusher.”
Still, that didn’t deter Enrique, and in an interview with FourFourTwo he spoke about his fitness regime.
The most gruelling race on earth
THE Marathon des Sables is justifiably known as the most gruelling race on earth.
The monstrous course is 156 miles, equivalent to six marathons, run through the Sahara desert in six days in Morroco.
    The conditions are horrendous.
Temperatures can hit 120F (50C) and all the 1,5000 competitors must carry all their provisions for the whole race in a backpack.
This must include all their food, of at least 2,000 calories a day,  and mandatory kits such as a venom pump.
Racers sleep in an open sided tent with seven other competitors.

“When I left football I wanted to take up running, but after 45 minutes my feet would swell up because I was used to football,” he revealed.
“In football it’s 50 metres, then stop, 10 metres, then stop.
“I was used to that. I could run for a long time, but in a football way.
“Marathons were at the same pace all the time. That was hard to adapt to, but I did after a lot of training and then I started doing triathlons.

Judging by the high-standards Luis has set himself, his training sessions must be hell on earth. More

Khan retired following the defeat to his Brit rival – for which he pocketed a staggering £5MILLION.
However, it has since emerged he tested positive for ostarine, in the aftermath of that loss.
Khan has claimed ingestion of the banned substance was NOT intentional.
Ostarine is a drug designed to have similar effects to testosterone, used by athletes and bodybuilders to boost muscle mass and performance.

However, it has also been used to treat muscle-wasting diseases and osteoporsis.
Khan has enjoyed plenty of highs and endured lows in his career before in and out of the ring.
    And it began so promisingly…
    Olympic hero
Khan rose to prominence in extraordinary fashion at the 2004 Olympics.

He was Great Britain’s only representative in boxing in Athens – but that didn’t faze him.
At just 17, he on a silver medal in the lightweight category – becoming Britain’s youngest medallist since Carl Jones in 1976.
He lost in the final to Cuban Mario Kindelan, who had also beaten him in the pre-Olympic warm-up bouts.
A staggering eight million viewers tuned in to watch Khan fight on the BBC.
It was clear from then a star was born.
    Champion
Khan’s rise escalated quickly when he turned pro.
In his 13th fight he defeated Willie Limond to become the Commonwealth lightweight champion.
Then in 2008, he knocked out Martin Kristjansen – landing the WBO Inter-Continental lightweight title.
Surprisingly knocked out in just 54 seconds by Breidis Prescott in his 19th fight, meant Khan lost his invincibility.
But like any true warrior, he would win back his belt with victory over Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera.

Khan went unbeaten for two years until a loss to Lamont Petersen, who was later stripped off Khan’s WBA belt for failing a drugs test. Another defeat in his comeback fight against Danny Garcia in 2012 saw Khan finally lose that WBA belt.
On a world scale, losses to Canelo Alvarez in 2016 and Terence Crawford in 2019 would show Khan was left wanting at this stage of this life.
But there were other things going on in his life.
    Finding love
In 2012, Khan was introduced to the beautiful Faryal Makhdoom at a party in New York.
They immediately hit it off – with their relationship beginning to flourish.
Faryal was just 19-years-old when the pair started dating and she wed Amir just a year later.
The 2013 New York ceremony was a lavish affair and was followed by a second celebration in the UK with 4,000 guests.
A year later, they welcomed their first child together – daughter Lamaisah born in 2014.
A second daughter, Alayna would follow in 2018, and then Muhammad in 2020.
But, their romance was far from perfect.

    Cheating allegations
Khan allegedly slept with beautician Sophia Hammani, 22, on May 10, 2018 – just 17 days after his wife gave birth to their daughter Alayna.
Sophia exclusively told The Sun that she spent the night with the boxer in his hotel room after meeting him in a London club.
The boxer slammed the claims on Twitter saying, “What total nonsense!
“She was wanting a pic but was told to leave by security due to her being too drunk. IMO that’s the reason she sold a story.
“Quite strange at the fact that there is no photos of us together.
Those cheating allegations rocked wife Faryal who unfollowed him on Instagram.
But it wasn’t the first time that he was accused of playing away.
In January 2018, Sandy Hunter claimed they had a passionate affair and he has also been accused of sharing sex cam chats.
The couple briefly split in August 2017, when explosive tweets from Amir Khan’s Twitter account claimed he has split from wife.
The sportsman even accused her of cheating on him with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.

The initial tweet on the boxer’s account read: “So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I’m currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best.”
After a brief meeting at the couple’s marital home in Bolton, model Faryal hit back, accusing him of being the unfaithful party as the pair’s relationship breakdown played out on social media.
However they reconciled and posted a loved-up Instagram pic.
    I’m a Celeb…
Khan’s sports star status has already seen him crossover to celebrity – appearing on TV shows, including Countdown, Beat the Star, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, and Celebrity Juice.
But it was I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! where he would find new fans and get his first taste of reality TV.
He arrived in Brisbane as the highest-paid contestant – beating Katie Price’s previous record – earning a reported £400,000. Although it was reported he donated part of his fee to Barnado’s, for whom he is an ambassador.
Khan would provide good value for money – finishing fifth overall in the jungle.
He caused much hilarity in the Bushtucker Trial ‘Critter-cal Rescue’, where he had collect tokens from boxes containing snakes and giant beetles.
This year, he has been confirmed to appear on the spin-off I’m a Celebrity… South Africa.
That comes after Amir and Faryal have become reality TV stars in their own right.

In 2020, Khan was also happy to share an extravagant purchase on social media of amazing watch.
And no doubt he would’ve wowed his 1.4 million followers on Instagram with an astonishing timepiece.
