THROUGHOUT the years, as Mike Tyson rose through the ranks to become heavyweight champion of the world, the boxing legend bought and sold some incredible homes.
‘Iron Mike’ came a long way from the humble beginnings of his childhood home in Brooklyn to mansions filled with tiger cages as millions of dollars poured in.

After losing it all, Tyson, now 54, is once again worth millions after launching his company Tyson Holistic and flogging medical marijuana.
And he’s even in line for a comeback – the knockout king is set to face Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition fight on November 28.
But it’s his former homes that really amaze and show how the king of the ring loved living.
NEW YORK
Tyson spent most of his childhood years in a modest apartment in Brooklyn in Brownsville in the mid 1970s.
It was a neighbourhood, at the time, that was a breeding ground for crime and most residents lived poorly.
In the past, Tyson has admitted mixing with criminals as he looked for acceptance and joined a gang of petty thieves.
But in his spare-time in the Brownsville abode, he became fascinated by pigeons.

Tyson’s fall from grace began in 1992, when he was convicted of rape and was sentenced to six years in prison, of which he served three.
Financially drained, he was forced to sell this incredible home in 1999 for around £855,000.
Today, remarkably, it’s been converted into a church.
But in Tyson’s day it boasted five bedrooms and a full-size pool and Jacuzzi alongside its tiger cages and basketball court, with the entire pad decked out with crystal chandeliers.
The delipidated pool has since been turned into a sanctuary while the living room is now a gathering place.
Remnants of the 53-year-old’s time still remain with the basketball court still intact, as well as Mike Tyson’s name etched onto the front gate.

Tyson’s Maryland residence was bought with ex-wife Monica Turner in 1995.
The pair lived there through the early 2000s, until the pair divorced after she claimed he committed adultery.
Turner won the house in the divorce settlement, which is just 30 minutes from Washington DC.
It features seven bedrooms, a large gym, game room, swimming pool, sports court and a piano room.
It also overlooks the Congressional Country Club golf course, which has hosted several US Open tournaments.
Back in May, the home was listed for sale at £7million.

THE HANGOVER PAD
In 2008, Tyson let Hollywood film director Todd Phillips into his £1.5million Las Vegas pad to film legendary scenes from the hit comedy movie.
And what a lavish setting it is too.
Found in the beautiful gated community called Seven Hills in the suburb of Henderson, it boasts six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms and its own private balcony.
There’s also the incredible 18-hole Rio Secco Golf Club to enjoy, as well as four large private parks filled with basketball courts, tennis courts and football pitches.
Like many new builds in Las Vegas within gated communities, the 5,740-square-feet mansion was built in an Italian style in 2001.

Today, back at the top, Tyson lives a life of luxury once more. And he loves living in Henderson, Las Vegas.
Shortly after he sold ‘The Hangover’ home, he bought this nearby mansion for £2.5million.
The 8,149 square-foot mansion in Henderson, Nevada, built in 2001, has plenty of indoor and outside space.

On paper, United were getting a world beater.
Colombian forward Falcao was one of the most feared strikers on the planet, after starring at Atletico Madrid and then Monaco.
And when a loan deal with a view to a £44m permanent move was agreed, the fans were dancing on cobbled streets.
However, the move was a disaster for Falcao – who scored just four goals in 29 games for Louis van Gaal’s side.
It was no surprise that United didn’t exercise their right to buy him at the end of the loan but peculiarly Chelsea decided to take him the following season and, again, he flopped.

Who?
In 2013, Manchester United raided Swiss club FC Zurich for the versatile right back and winger paying an undisclosed fee.

However, he made just one appearance – an ill-fated runout against MK Dons that ended in an embarrassing 4-0 defeat.
Janko was loaned out for the rest of the season to Bolton months later, before he moved to Celtic a summer after he was signed.

MAROUANE FELLAINI
Another Moyes signing of the summer of 2013, Fellaini joined from Everton for a fee in the region of £28m.
But in his first season the giant Belgium midfielder made just 15 league starts.
Many pundits labelled Fellaini one of the worst buys of the season, and although things picked up in his second campaign at the club, Fellaini was always a bit-part player.
It was no surprise to see him shipped off to China in 2019, where he now plays for Shandong Luneng.

REGAN POOLE
There were high hopes for the Welsh centre-back when he signed for £100,000 from Newport County.
Shortlisted for the Football League Apprentice of the Year award in 2015, Liverpool handed him a trial a few months after.
But that summer he joined United.
Poole made just one appearance for the club, coming on as a last-minute substitute for Ander Herrera in a 5–1 win over FC Midtjylland.
After loans to Northampton Town and back to Newport County, Poole, still only 22, signed for MK Dons last year on a free transfer.

The Dutch defender joined Manchester United in 2014 for a fee of £14m.

Eyes were raised in 2015 when United settled on a deal worth £58m for Martial from Monaco.
At the time, it was the highest fee paid for a teenager and a huge outlay for someone who had the potential to be an Old Trafford great, but was unproven.
Martial, 24, has since silenced doubters – becoming the focal point of the Red Devils attack.

But Marcelo Flores, 17, is hoping to buck that trend – and one day light up the Emirates.
A classic No10, the attacking midfielder, who was born in Canada and has a British passport, joined the Gunners from Ipswich in 2019.
Reports in his home country say he has signed a five-year deal with the club – who believe Marcelo is capable of following Bukayo Saka into the first team.
GUNNER BE GREAT
When Arsenal beat Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea to Marcelo’s signature in 2019, it was thought that he would play most of his football in their U16 side.
However, his progress was so rapid he appeared in the U18 Premier League side, as well as in the FA Youth Cup twice last season.
He has since joined the U18 level permanently, and last weekend scored two goals in a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.
Marcelo has been training with the Arsenal first team, impressing boss Mikel Arteta with his artistry on the ball.
His dad revealed that the Mexican U16 international is set to be tied up to a long-term deal with the Premier League side.
“He has a contract for the next two years to play in the U18, but I already have an agreement in which he will sign a professional contract for the next five years with Arsenal,” Ruben Flores told Milenio.

The proud father also revealed he sees his son following last season’s PFA Young Player of the Year nominee Saka into the Gunners first team.
He continued: “Two years ago Bukayo Saka used to play where Marcelo is playing now and last year he made his debut in the Champions League.
“Now they have given him a contract with the first team, he played all the games and is now a first team player.
“So, to put it in perspective, in two years Marcelo could be playing for Arsenal’s first team if the results come. That’s why they want to give him a professional contract.
“In addition, Per Mertesacker, world champion with Germany and former captain of Arsenal, is the director of the Academy and he has a lot of faith in him and he’s very excited to have Marcelo.
“They have treated him wonderfully and he offered him this contract for five years.”

Not resting on his laurels, Marcelo has big plans for this season. He wants to break into the first team.
“Next season, I want to be a regular starter at Arsenal and perhaps break into the U18s team, and play more international games to get more experience,” he told the Daily Cannon back in 2019.
