‘Scared of upsetting bigger earners’ – Man Utd’s Garnacho likes brutal anti-Ten Hag post after being subbed at half time

ALEJANDRO GARNACHO has liked social media posts blasting Erik ten Hag for subbing him at half-time.Manchester United boss Ten Hag was accused of running “scared” of “bigger earners” and throwing Garnacho “under a bus” after a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth.Alejandro Garnacho was hauled off early at BournemouthCredit: RexGarnacho appeared to approve of this hard-hitting postFans then spotted the Argentina star, 19, reacted to that social media outburst from well-known Red Devils’ YouTuber Mark Goldbridge. One responded on X: “Lol Garnacho liked this. Damn Man Utd is getting cooked.”Ten Hag told Sky Sports after earning a fortunate point: “This is not enough… The truth is we did not deserve more.”The first goal we were actually well set up but we lose the ball in a bad area and it was a goal.READ MORE MAN UTD NEWS”There were two or three more occasions where we should have dealt better with the ball.”Then down the right side they were finding ways to hurt us and there were jobs to be done but it was not always done. “Then you get problems. Go with your opponent, that is your job. One part is collaboration and the other is discipline.”Goldbridge posted: “Ten Hag subtly blaming Garnacho in the post match press conference…not a good look throwing a 19 year old under the bus who has actually delivered for you this season. But then again he’s clearly scared of upsetting the bigger earners.”Most read in FootballA fellow Old Trafford supporter replied: “Always scared to blame Rashford.”Another wrote: “He targets whoever puts their heads down. He can’t even substitute those 375k players who drops stinkers after stinkers.”Man Utd fans demand Wayne Rooney’s ‘English Messi’ son Kai, 14, given contract now after shock footage emergesBut some fans disagreed with Goldbridge’s claim that the Red Devils’ Dutch manager is too soft on a crop of under-achieving high-earners.One said: “Are you kidding me? Ten Hag has shown the most faith in Mainoo and Garnacho.”On this occasion, however, full-back Diogo Dalot replaced Garnacho for the second period, with United 2-1 down. And Mason Mount came on for 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo on 78 minutes at 2-2.One fan said: “Let’s be honest, Garnacho had a poor 1st half. I was expecting EtH to remove Rashford and move Garna to the left at half-time… but he chose to remove Garna.”And another defended Ten Hag’s actions over his whizkid, saying: “He wasn’t blaming him, he just explained what happened in the first half with him.”Boss Erik ten Hag divided opinion with his verdict on United’s drawCredit: RexWilly Kambwala wants to become rock at the back for Man Utd… but Erik ten Hag probably won’t be around to see itBy Ken Lawrence

ERIK TEN HAG insists he is still the right man to take Manchester United forward.
The Dutchman believes he can recapture their former glories, despite escaping for the second time in a row what could have been humiliation by Liverpool at the weekend.
And teen Willy Kambwala revealed his “passion” is to become a rock at the heart of United’s defence after making just his second start of the season against their bitter rivals.
United trailed 1-0 at half-time on Sunday but fought back to take a 2-1 lead before Mo Salah’s 84th-minute equaliser from the penalty spot.
Ten Hag was pleased with the second-half performance, declaring it “another signal and message for the future,” before adding, “the team and squad have high potential.”
Yet the Old Trafford chief sounds more and more like he has his finger stuck in a leaky dyke and does not think it is going to hold.
Comeback or not, United still threw away a lead for the third time in eight days following their 4-3 defeat to Chelsea and 1-1 draw with Brentford — both deep into injury time.
And his body language suggests he expects to be crossing it to go back to Holland with his P45 this summer

Fury as racist post about England football ace Bukayo Saka STAYS on Twitter because it ‘doesn’t break safety policies’

CAMPAIGNERS blasted X/Twitter today for failing to remove a fresh racist post targeting England and Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka.It included a vile photoshopped image and called him an “ape” — yet Elon Musk’s social media firm insisted it “did not violate safety policies”.Twitter/X failed to remove a racist post targeting England footballer Bukayo SakaCredit: The FA / GettyEquality think-tank British future slammed Twitter/X boss Elon Musk for a ‘systemic failure’ to tackle the most obvious and appalling racismCredit: ReutersThe disgusting tweet follows race-hate messages after the Euros final in 2021 in which Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho missed in a penalty shoot-out defeat to Italy.Furious Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate branded those offensive rants “unforgivable” and X/Twitter promised a crackdown. The latest taunt — sparking fears of more to come in this summer’s tournament — followed Arsenal’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.Saka, 22, believed he should have had a last-minute penalty but some posters accused him of trying to con the ref. It can include suspending the account that posted it.However, in a direct reply to Mr Howard’s complaint, it said: “After reviewing the available information, we want to let you know it hasn’t broken our safety policies. “If this account breaks our policies in future, we’ll notify you.”Researchers found the use of offensive slurs increased after Musk took over the site in October 2022. I almost had my leg snapped in two playing football – but referee brushed it off and gave a DROP BALL
