“And you know what there is nothing wrong with that you know?”
This prompted Neville to say: “I tried copying him (Pep)!”
To which Postecoglou brilliantly responded: “How’d that go?”

He achieved legendary status working alongside Jeff Stelling on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday for three decades.
Kammy left his role on Sky Sports in 2022 after being diagnosed with an underactive thyroid, leaving him with a condition that affects his speech.
Kamara explained how he felt like a “fraud” following his apraxia of speech diagnosis – and like someone else is controlling his voice.
The ex-Swindon and Brentford midfielder has continued with some of his media work as the host of ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK and co-host of the BBC’s Proper Football podcast with Ben Shephard.

However, he has now revealed in his new book titled ‘Kammy’, which is being serialised in the Daily Mirror. how he had the darkest of thoughts at his lowest point and decided he did not want to be a burden on his wife Anne.
Kamara wrote: “I’m going to admit something now, something I’ve never mentioned before. It’s hard for me to talk about, so bear with me.
“I worried about where I was going to end up. Would my physical and neurological deterioration just keep going and going? And I worried more about the effect it would have on those around me.
“I’m a man who has always wanted to help, to provide, to love and nurture those around me. And now I could only see myself as a burden. A shell of the man I used to be that they would be left to look after.

It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.

“Seeing myself like that was like staring into an abyss. I could never reconcile that image in my head. It was unthinkable.
“And it’s at that point I’d think, ‘They’d be better off without me.’”
He admitted that Gary Speed’s tragic suicide in 2011 then came into his mind, saying: “I thought of Gary Speed and then I thought of my own position – a man in his mid-sixties, whose best days, because of a brain condition, were gone, struggling on while becoming a weight on all around him. Whose wife and children would be left to deal with whatever I became.
“I didn’t want that for Anne and the boys. So how do you prevent it from happening? You take yourself out of the picture.
“There were times when I definitely thought that was a way out. If you’re stuck in a maze, with no sign of an escape route, eventually you’ll try something extreme. Especially if you have chosen to wander that maze alone.”

Thankfully for everyone, Kamara opened up on his issues and he urged anyone else contemplating those dark thoughts to seek help.
He adds that he began to realise that the “future was not so bleak” as he began to accept his illness.
The football icon has appeared on TV to talk about his struggles and has admitted he has been left stunned at the support he has received.

Legendary football competition ‘in danger of dying’ after crucial talks go horribly wrong

NAPOLI’S owner has declared that Serie A “will die” after a controversial new TV deal was agreed. The Italian top-flight has announced that after months of negotiations they have agreed a package with DAZN and Sky to continue broadcasting their matches.
Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has slammed Serie A’s new TV dealCredit: Getty
The £779m-per-season agreement means that Serie A will remain on the two channels for the next five years.
A majority 17 out of the 20 top division teams voted for it after opting against creating their own Serie A channel.
That revolutionary idea would have meant cutting out broadcasters entirely and that the league could produce all of their own content.
But with the current TV deal expiring at the end of the campaign, it was felt that there was not enough time to get the infrastructure needed.
    READ MORE FOOTBALL NEWS
And that meant that they had to go with the low-ball joint-offer from DAZN and Sky that is worth £23m less than the current package.
Italy previously had the Melandri law that only allowed TV right contracts to be for three years at a time.
However, that has now been relaxed, which has enabled the five-year package.
The purpose of that was to try and ensure a higher value of domestic TV rights – but many feel that will see Premier League clubs have even more of a financial advantage over their Italian counterparts as their broadcast rights will rocket again when they come to be renegotiated in 2025.

Additionally to the £779m per season offered by DAZN and Sky, the former have also got a revenue sharing part to the deal.
That will see Serie A and DAZN split revenue 50/50 on sustaining and growing the subscriber base should specified targets be met.
This move now looks very unlikely to help Italy’s big guns bridge the gap with their Prem, Spanish LaLiga and German Bundesliga rivals in revenue.
And it led to a furious outburst from Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis upon its announcement today.
He interrupted Serie A president Luigi De Siervo’s press conference by claiming: “Italian football will die.”
He then told the media in attendance: “It’s a defeat for Italian football, with this deal our football will die.
“Sky and DAZN are not competent, they aren’t good for Italian football.” More

Then at half-time on Monday Night Football on Sky, Jamie Carragher said: “Great to see him back where he belongs.”
He visited the Spurs training ground on Friday to do some prep for his return.
The Chester-born legend first started out as a journalist with The Times before switching into broadcasting with ITV.
But he is best known for being the voice of the Premier League, producing countless famous lines to accompany some of the biggest moments in football.
The most memorable was, of course, his “Agueroooo” commentary when Manchester City pipped rivals United to the title in the closing seconds of the 2011-12 season.
But Tyler was unable to get a final send-off at the end of the 2022-23 campaign as he missed the last few weeks of the season through illness.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who state that “clubs are braced for a rearranged festive fixture list that could see Christmas Day left as the only one without a televised game”.
Premier League execs are currently making their amendments to the match schedule for the back end of December and January.
They have already announced their TV picks and alterations for the first round of games for December.
And now they hope to confirm the Festive fixtures and their new timings early this week.

This fresh update states that “scheduling a first Premier League game on Christmas Eve since 1995 has been on the agenda” for bosses.
Wolves’ home clash with Chelsea is the favourite for the controversial TV spot but that has received fierce backlash since speculation emerged last week.
Top-flight teams are aware that further changes have been discussed and that they would enable supporters to watch at least one match per day – except for December 25.
However, there are a number of factors to be considered before any official announcement such as travel issues, policing and broadcasters.

Due to the Qatar World Cup last winter, last season’s festive fixtures did not get underway until Boxing Day.
During the 11 day period that followed there was only a December 29 that did not feature a Premier League match on TV.
This report also states that “at least one match is in line to be pushed back as far as January 2” with the FA Cup third round taking place over the opening weekend of the New Year. More
