KSI spotted at Sikh temple after visiting mosque amid fallout from using vile racial slur in YouTube video

YOUTUBE star KSI has been spotted at a Sikh temple after being blasted for using a “disgusting” racial slur. The influencer and boxer has been slammed in recent days for saying the word “p***” in a video posted online.

The Youtuber was blasted for saying the slur during a skit on Sidemen SundayCredit: Ruckas
KSI, whose real name is Olajide William Olatunji, quickly backtracked and apologised.
The influencer said there was “no excuse” for using the term – which he said deeply hurt South Asian communities.
In the days after he caused the uproar, the 29-year-old visited a mosque and spoke to the imam.
And now a video has been posted to Twitter of him at a Sikh temple in Kent.
    Read more on KSI
In the clip the Youtuber-turn boxer, who has 12.7 million Instagram followers, can be seen chatting and laughing away at Siri Guru Nanak Darbar Gudwara.
KSI was forced to make a public apology after he said the racial slur in a now-deleted video.
The influencer was taking part in a ‘Countdown challenge’ stunt with a group of influencers called The Sidemen.
Much like the hit daytime English and maths quiz show, the group had to try to come up with a nine-letter word using the characters on the screen.

It was then that KSI said his team “need points” and spat out the term.
Fellow hosts Chunkz and Filly fell about laughing at KSI’s answer, while he jokingly said “sorry”.
But, the moment sparked fury online.
BBC presenter Bobby Friction posted: “I had this racial slur thrown at me and got physical beats by racists for my entire childhood.
“Genuinely upset that KSI (a guy my children love) did this and thought it was funny.
“The rest of them laughing can go f*** themselves too. People dehumanising brown people like it’s normal.”
Meanwhile, teacher and broadcaster Mehreen Baig added the comments and reaction was “horrifically disappointing from KSI and his crew”.
Renowned health presenter Dr Ranj Singh blasted the internet sensation saying: “I’m not just upset, I’m disgusted.”
KSI – whose YouTube videos have clocked up over 11 billion views – issued a grovelling apology on Twitter just hours after Sunday’s incident.
He wrote: “I wanna apologise for saying a racial slur in a recent Sidemen video.
“There’s no excuse, no matter the circumstances, I shouldn’t have said it and I’m sorry.
“I’ve always said to my audience that they shouldn’t worship me or put me on a pedestal because I’m human.
“I’m not perfect, I’m gonna mess up in life, and lately I’ve been messing up a lot.”
Genuinely upset that KSI (a guy my children love) did this and thought it was funny.Bobby FrictionBBC presenter
KSI wrapped up the statement by saying he was also going to take a break from social media.
He then repeated his apology ahead of his fight with Joe Fournier on Wednesday.
The rapper said: “I want to take this opportunity to offer my deepest and most sincere apologies for my words and actions.
“In a recent video I used a racial term that is offensive to so, so many especially in the South Asian community.
“There are no excuses for what I said and I recognise that I’ve caused a lot of hurt and disappointment to so many people that look up to me, and my ignorance has only reinforced the negative stereotypes that have existed for way too long in this country.
“I want to express my heartfelt regret for what I said and I want you to know I am genuinely ashamed and deeply sorry for any pain or suffering I have caused.
“I realise my words have consequences and as a public figure I have a responsibility to use my platform for good rather than perpetuating discrimination and this week I have failed to do this.”
The Sidemen also took to social media and said the clip “was completely unacceptable and inexcusable”.

They added: “The fact the incident was made light of on the show was wrong and compounded the hurt.”
The group said they have been left “truly ashamed” by their actions.

KSI looks dapper in suit and hat as he and Sidemen stars Tobi Brown, Joshua Bradley and Vikram Barn watch West Ham clash

Seemingly taking a break from their own jobs as entertainers, four members of the Sidemen were in attendance at the London Stadium.
And they came suited and booted with a dazzling array of suits and hats.
KSI, founder of hydration drink PRIME alongside Logan Paul, rocked up in a blue suit with a pink interior paired with a bow tie and hat.
Tobi Brown, also known as “TBJZL”, went with a more clean and less eye-catching look than his co-star, though that’s not to say it wasn’t as sharp.

Tobi was denied the opportunity to make his pro debut in the FA Cup on Saturday after being handed a trial by Crawley.
However, despite not featuring during the game against Accrington, Tobi and his fellow trialist brothers may still feature for the club in the future.
Joshua Bradley, who goes by the name “Zerkaa”, countered Tobi and KSI with an appropriate claret suit.
He was followed in this by Vikram Barn, also known as “Vikkstar”.

But while Josh went for a suit with a similarly clean look to Tobi’s, Vik donned a fit blended with some slightly more vibrant diamond shapes.
The quartet even had time to pose alongside West Ham icon Carlton Cole, which Ethan Payne – one of the group’s missing members – would have loved due to being a fan of the Hammers.
The Sidemen group is made up of seven members and boasts a following of over 17 million on YouTube making them the UK’s largest YouTube collective.

Jed has impressed the most on trial but could not play as he is already contracted to Non-League side Fisher FC.
The game ended in disappointment for caretaker manager Lewis Young, but when quizzed after the game, he could only speak glowingly of Sidemen star Tobi and his siblings.
And he hinted that they could have a future with the club.
Young told SunSport: “It was over my head as to why they couldn’t play.
“It is something that the owners are big on, but unfortunately they couldn’t be involved today.

“But I do believe that they are going to be signed for the foreseeable, so as long as they are training well they will be up for selection.”

“I’ve just had a look on everyone as a whole, and I base my team selection on that, everyone has trained really, really well.”

With Tobi’s commitments to The Sidemen, his clothing brand Illvzn and his own YouTube channel, it seems to be youngest brother Jed who looks destined for greatness as a professional footballer.
Crawley perhaps could have done with Jed in their ranks today, as they were beaten 4-1 at home by League One side Accrington Stanley.
Tobi has previously claimed that Jed has the potential to play at a higher level after one of their training sessions in midweek.
He said to SussexExpress: “One of the main reasons I agreed to do this with Crawley and WAGMI United was because I wanted to Jed a chance to get trained at a higher level.
“Everything he knows is self-taught and I want to see how far he can go with the opportunity I never had.” More

HT. Crawley Town 1-3 Accrington Stanley
What a first half we have had at the Broadfield Stadium in Crawley! The hosts are currently losing by three goals to one, and it is a scoreline that could leave them wishing that they had Tobi Brown to call upon from the bench…
A goal within the first two minutes from Shaun Whalley opened the scoring for Accrington, before Crawley found an equaliser, which came via Jake Hessenthaler.
However, it was the visitors who regained the lead halfway through the first half, as Shaun Whalley doubled his goal tally for the day.
Accrington then piled on the misery away in Sussex, as a short corner allowed ex-Manchester United midfielder Ethan Hamilton to sweep a left footed shot into the top right hand corner.
Stay with us for second-half coverage coming to you shortly!
    45. Crawley Town 1-3 Accrington Stanley
Just before half-time,Tony Craig goes down bleeding with a head injury so play has been stopped.
He is back up, and his head has been treated, but the referee blows for half-time.
    45. Crawley Town 1-3 Accrington Stanley
The third for Accrington Stanley came from another clever delivery.
The corner was played short and along the ground, and while everyone else was switched off, Hamilton swept it into the top right corner.
Clever set piece and a great finish by the midfielder, you can tell he was an ex-Manchester United player!
    44. Crawley Town 1-3 Accrington Stanley
The corner is taken short, and curled into the top corner by Ethan Hamilton! Great finish!
    42. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
The game has slowed down a little now, after a frenetic opening 25 minutes or so.
Travis Johnson wins a tackle well in the left corner for Crawley, but can only put it out for an Accrington Corner…
    40. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
Great football from Crawley, as Jack Powell and George Francomb combine really well on the left hand side.
It ultimately comes to nothing, as they switch the play to the right hand side and lose possession.
    38. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
Leigh has a long throw for Accrington, which we have seen a few times on the right-hand side.
He has been impressive so far for the visitors, and is causing the home side plenty of problems…
    36. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
Disappointing for Crawley, as a simple pass across the back line is miscontrolled and rolls out for a throw-in.
    34. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
The counter comes to nothing, but the visitors are starting to sit a little bit deeper, which will allow Crawley to push for an equaliser.
However, they will have to be very careful of Accrington on the counter.
    32. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
The rain continues to drizzle down at the Broadfield Stadium, as Accrington Stanley come forwards on the counter…
    30. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
Crawley look to string a few passes together, and play some brilliant football on the edge of the box.
Unfortunately it comes to nothing and ends up going back to Ellery Balcombe in goal, who puts it out for a goal kick to Accrington.
    28. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
Crawley win themselves another corner, which is whipped in by Jack Powell, but cleared well by Accrington Stanley.
    26. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
A very late challenge on Jake Hessenthaler sees Liam Coyle given a yellow card.
    24. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
A brilliant delivery from the left hand side finds the head of Shaun Whalley in the middle, who dispatches the header into the bottom right hand corner.
He has doubled his tally for the season, having only scored one so far, but two in 22 minutes today!
    22. Crawley Town 1-2 Accrington Stanley
It’s 2-1 to the visitors! Shaun Whalley gets his brace!
    20. Crawley Town 1-1 Accrington Stanley
The home support are in brilliant voice now as their side wins another corner.
It is a great atmosphere here at the Broadfield Stadium, after the home team were initially left a bit disheartened due to the early goal.
    18. Crawley Town 1-1 Accrington Stanley
Powell whipped in a dangerous cross which was headed just over the bar by an Accrington defender, and the home side had a corner.
The corner was then swung in beautifully, and met at the back post by Hessenthaler who nodded in, great finish!
    16. Crawley Town 1-1 Accrington Stanley
Crawley are back in it! It’s Jake Hessenthaler with the equaliser! Game on!
    14. Crawley Town 0-1 Accrington Stanley
Crawley just trying to get their foot on the ball at the moment and thread a few passes together.
Midfielder Jack Powell misplaces a pass in midfield, and gifts possession back to the visitors.
    12. Crawley Town 0-1 Accrington Stanley
Tough battle in midfield so far for the home side, with Accrington certainly having the run of the green so far.
“Whose the home team here?” A home supporter beckons…
    It’s certainly a valid point.
    10. Crawley Town 0-1 Accrington Stanley
Crawley break down the right hand side with Travis Johnson, but he slips before delivering the ball into the box.
Accrington then counter, but the shot is wide and out for a goal kick.
    6. Crawley Town 0-1 Accrington Stanley
Accrington win a corner, which is whipped in by Sean McConville towards Tommy Leigh.
The out of position striker wins the header and sends it goal-wards, but it is saved easily by Balcombe.
    4. Crawley Town 0-1 Accrington Stanley
It’s a goal almost instantly for Accrington Stanley.
The ball is played back to Ellery Balcombe in goal, and he is pressured by Tommy Leigh to put it out for a throw in.
The throw in is taken and the ball is switched wide, before being played through to Tommy Leigh.
His shot is saved, but palmed out into the feet of Shaun Whalley, who hammered it into the roof of the net from close range.
    2. Crawley Town 0-1 Accrington Stanley
An early goal! It is scored by Shaun Whalley!
