Now a youth academy coach and ambassador for Spurs, the former Three Lions ace began contacting the 40-year-old mum in July.
On June 4, Spurs hero Defoe, 39, wed Donna Tierney, 40, at stately home Cliveden House, Berks, in a £200,000 ceremony featured on the front page of OK! magazine.
In the glossy magazine, he said: “This is my future, this is forever, this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
The event, attended by a clutch of former England stars including Ledley King and Shaun Wright-Phillips, was featured across 14 pages of the June 27 issue.

But on July 14, Defoe began messaging the woman, who we are not naming, via Instagram and later tried to arrange a meet-up.
She said: “I’d met Jermain years ago in a bar, but nothing happened.
“We stayed in touch a bit over WhatsApp but I hadn’t spoken to him for ages.
“Then he started messaging me on Instagram in July. He was desperate to meet me and we flirted a lot.

“But ultimately, he wasn’t very charming — he clearly only had one thing in his mind.
“Then, when I realised he was married, I didn’t want it to go any further.
“It wouldn’t have been fair on his wife. Who on Earth does that so soon after vowing to spend the rest of their life with someone?
“I suppose I felt he was the powerful one, the famous and wealthy former footballer.
“Our messages were a bit of fun at the time, but there was no point in carrying it on.
“I felt like I was wasting my time and once I realised he had a wife, I didn’t want to continue speaking to him.
“It’s not right. I feel really bad about it all.”
On June 21, Defoe gleefully declared on Instagram how “dedicating my whole life” to Donna was “one of the easiest things I’ve ever done”.
Jermain Defoe’s wedding to Donna Tierney was the front page of OK! magazine
He shared a mock-up of the cover of OK! showing the couple at their luxury Cliveden House wedding — scene of the Profumo sex scandal and where Meghan stayed on the eve of marrying Prince Harry.
Defoe thanked the glossy mag for “showcasing our special day” and excitedly told his 563,000 followers the “full copy is out now”.
In his chat with the magazine Defoe told how he had finally found “the right one” in his new partner.
Beauty therapist Donna spoke of pals talking about “how special” Defoe’s wedding speech was, and that it “showed how much he appreciates me”.
Ironically, he first “met” Donna several years ago by ‘liking’ her pictures on social media — in a similar way to his latest pursuit.
After the wedding, the couple went on honeymoon to the Maldives.

On July 6, the newlyweds posed outside Wimbledon’s Centre Court, with the ace boasting on Instagram: “Really enjoyed watching the tennis today at Wimbledon with my wife @Donna_Defoe.”
But in his messages with the woman, which began eight days later, he called her “babe” in voice notes and asked to meet up.
On August 19, he told her he wanted to romp with her in the back of his Range Rover.
Defoe met wife Donna in January 2021 when she asked him for a signed football shirt for a charity do.
The pair hit it off and Defoe proposed at a top Glasgow hotel seven months later.
He spelled out “Marry Me” with lights in their penthouse suite, which he decorated with heart-shaped balloons and rose petals, and got down on one knee.
The pair chose the swanky 376-acre Cliveden House for a three-day wedding extravaganza, after Defoe read Meghan had stayed there.
He wore a three-piece off-white suit, black trousers and a bow tie, and said his “eyes just started welling up” when he saw Donna approaching the altar.
Among their 360 guests were Defoe’s pals Ledley King, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Carlton Cole.
Their first dance was to Luther Vandross’s Always And Forever. The celebrations lasted until 7am and included fire-eaters, flamethrowers, a Caribbean buffet and a makeshift nightclub.
Last Wednesday, Defoe — who scored 20 goals in his 50 caps for England — was at Wembley for Channel 4’s coverage of the Three Lions,  alongside host Jules Breach, and ex-players Joe Cole and Thomas Hitzlsperger.
Defoe, known for his charity work, has previously been dogged by cheating rumours — including on his singer ex Alexandra Burke.
He was also accused in 2017 of causing the break-up of radio presenter Ben Weston’s marriage, months after he bought a hot tub from his saleswoman wife Sally.

Benjamin Mendy rape ‘victim’ says she DIDN’T have sex with Jack Grealish after claims from another woman

A woman who claims she was raped by Benjamin Mendy has said she did not have sex with his team-mate Jack Grealish after another woman claims she did.Grealish, 27, was among partygoers at Mendy’s mansion in Cheshire last year when the 17-year-old complainant says she was attacked by Mendy, 28, and co-accused Louis Saha Matturie, 41.
Last week it was claimed a woman who was allegedly raped by Matturie also had sex with Jack Grealish on the same night

Mendy and Matturie are on trial at Chester Crown Court where they deny multiple sex offences against a string of young women.
Last week the court heard the 17-year-old said to police that a 23-year-old woman, who also alleges Matturie raped her, told her on the night she had sex with Grealish.
On Monday, in further police interviews she said Matturie also mentioned to her the woman had “been together” with the former Aston Villa winger.
Three or four of Grealish’ friends from Birmingham came to the party after she earlier arrived in a taxi which followed a Range Rover in which Grealish was a passenger, she said.
The complainant said his friends were “quite pleasant” and “quite normal”, and there was “nothing suggestive or weird” in their conversations.

Grealish went on to compliment her “beautiful eyes” as she entered the swimming pool at the mansion and he walked out.
She said she replied: “Thank you.”
Later she saw Grealish “fast asleep” in the house.
She told detectives: “I remember him being quite drunk.”
The woman said she had not previously met Grealish and only “knew of him just off the TV”.
She said the footballer and his friends did not do anything that made her feel uncomfortable.
She confirmed to police that she did not have any sexual contact with Grealish.
The detective asked: “Have you since that night told anybody if you had any physical contact with him?”
    “No,” she replied.
The court heard that days before the woman was invited by Saha to watch a Manchester City match from a private box.
At the time she said she thought Saha was Mendy’s personal assistant or “some kind of entourage, a bodyguard”.
In a text exchange with a friend, Mendy was referred to as “the worst player on the team…guy goes out too much.
“He made us lose against Tottenham.”
Prosecutors claim Mendy is a “predator” who “turned the pursuit of women for sex into a game”.
Matturie, his friend and “fixer”, allegedly had the job of finding young women for sex.
Mendy denies seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault against six young women.
Matturie, of Eccles, Salford, denies six counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault relating to seven young women.

Analysts quizzed fans from all 20 Premier League teams, 24 Championship sides and 12 Scottish Premiership outfits to see who was most willing to stop scoring.
The most devoted were Liverpool supporters, with 17 per cent saying they would spurn nookie for a season in return for the Reds winning the English top flight, which they’ve only done once since 1990.

Next were fans of Championship side Birmingham City (15 per cent), then Scottish Prem side Hearts (14 per cent), followed by Prem teams Manchester City (13 per cent) and Nottingham Forest (11 per cent).
The least willing were supporters of Celtic and Rangers — with just six per cent saying they would impose a bonking ban for a league win.

But that might be because they are spoiled, with no other team landing the Scottish top flight since Aberdeen in 1984/85.

Man City star Benjamin Mendy still facing nine charges against six ‘victims’ after being cleared of one count of rape

BENJAMIN Mendy is still facing nine charges against six alleged victims after being cleared of one count of rape today. The 28-year-old World Cup winner was cleared at Chester Crown Court of the rape of a 19-year-old woman at his home in Cheshire on July 24 last year.

Co-accused Louis Saha Matturie, 41, was also cleared of two counts of rape and one of sexual assault against the same woman.
It came after the prosecution offered no further evidence against the defendants on those four counts.
Football star Mendy still faces seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault against six young women.
The Manchester City defender denies all charges against him.
Matturie of Eccles, Salford, wiped tears from his eyes as he stood in the dock and the formal not guilty verdicts, as directed by the judge, were given by the foreman of the jury at Chester Crown Court.
    Read More in Football
Judge Stephen Everett warned jurors not to speculate as to why the prosecution had decided not to pursue guilty verdicts and to continue to “faithfully” try the defendants on the multiple charges they still face.
Earlier, jurors were told of a private video of the woman having “enthusiastic sex” with Matturie, when she claimed she had been raped.
The 20-minute mobile phone video was taken by Matturie on August 1 last year, the court heard.
This was a week after both men had allegedly raped the same woman on the same night the previous weekend at the footballer’s mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire.
    Most read in Football
The woman had told the jury Matturie sexually assaulted her for a second time at a flat in Salford on August 1, last year, after clubbing at China White nightclub in Manchester.
Lisa Wilding KC, defending Matturie, suggested what happened between them was, “consensual, willing and enthusiastic” sex, not rape, Chester Crown Court heard.
The woman denied this, claiming the incident left her feeling “shamed and disgusted”.
Ms Wilding continued: “When you and he had sex … you and he filmed that sex. You know that you and he had a discussion beforehand, words to the effect, ‘Let’s make our own little movie’.”
The witness replied: “No. I wouldn’t do that.”
Ms Wilding added: “He had his phone right in front of you all the time you and he was having sex.”
The woman replied: “I was not aware of that.”
Ms Wilding said: “You looked directly at the camera more than once, enjoying what you were doing?”
The woman, who became tearful, replied: “No.”
Ms Wilding continued: “The sex took nearly 20 minutes. You had sex initially on your knees. You then gave him oral sex, looking at the camera.
“Did you then sit on top of him, gyrating and smiling at the camera?”
    “No,” the woman replied.
Miss Wilding said: “Well, then I’m going to have to ask you to look at some images.”
    ON TRIAL
The hearing was then adjourned and when court resumed after lunch time, Timothy Cray QC, prosecuting, told the court the prosecution was not now seeking guilty verdicts on alleged sexual offences involving the 19-year-old complainant.
Jurors were then directed to enter not guilty verdicts against the defendants.
The rape charge dropped against Mr Mendy related to an incident with Mr Matturie when the woman had claimed she awoke to find the footballer raping her.
The same night, July 24 last year, Matturie is also alleged to have raped her according to DNA evidence, but she has “no memory” of that, the court heard. That count was also dropped.
Prosecutors have alleged Mendy is a “predator” who “turned the pursuit of women for sex into a game”.
Mendy still faces seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault against six young women.
Matturie, the footballer’s friend and fixer, is alleged to have had the job of finding young women for sex.
Matturie still denies six counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault relating to seven young women.

BENJAMIN Mendy told a woman “it’s small, don’t worry” before he raped her at his mansion, a court heard. The Manchester City left-back, 28, is accused of 10 offences against seven women as young as 17 between October 2018 and August last year.

He denies eight counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted rape.
Today, the jury were shown a police interview with one alleged victim.
In it, she tells cops player tried to “debate” her into having sex after getting her alone at a gathering at his mansion in July 2021.
Despite giving him “every excuse” her protests “didn’t phase him”, Chester Crown Court heard.

Mendy allegedly told the woman “don’t you trust me”, shortly before she “gave in” and had sex – which lasted 20 seconds, she claims.
The woman said she “felt dirty” and used most of a pack of baby wipes to try to clean herself after the incident, the jury heard.
She did not report the rape to police until being contacted by officers after other allegations surfaced because “it was like one word against another”.
Recalling the alleged incident in a recorded police interview she said she had been invited to Mendy’s home where people were drinking and playing games.

But as she was about to leave, he took her into the cinema room at the house alone where they talked and began kissing before he pulled his underwear down.
She said: “His language was quite direct and crude. He said ‘you don’t trust me?’ and I said ‘I don’t know you’.
“He was like ‘all these women want to f**k me’ and I was like ‘okay’.”
“I think he was saying stuff to make me want to do stuff with him. I was like I’m not doing anything like that and I literally had to give excuses as to why.”
The woman gave Mendy several reasons as to why she didn’t want to have sex with him – including her fear it would “hurt”, she claims.
She says he replied: “It’s small, don’t worry.”
The woman added: “I was sat on a bean bag and he was standing in front of me holding himself. I felt like I had given him every excuse to get out of the situation…
“It didn’t phase him, it’s like nothing I said got through to him and it’s like arguing with a brick wall.”
The woman explained to the court how she didn’t know other guests at the party well and didn’t feel she could just walk away.
She continued: “When I sat on that bean bag and I ended up having to like give in. There was nothing more I could do.”
“Within 20 seconds it was over.”
Following the alleged rape, she said she “didn’t know how to process what had just happened” and “felt so by myself”, the court heard.
Mendy denies eight counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and one count of sexual assault against seven young women.
Mendy’s co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, 40, is accused of eight counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault relating to eight women, which he denies.
Saha Matturie – the footballer’s friend and fixer – allegedly had the job of finding young women for sex.
Both men say that if any sex did take place it was consensual.
In the first week of his trial, Chester Crown Court heard how Mendy boasted “I have had sex with 10,000 women” shortly after raping a 20-year-old.
The footballer allegedly told the woman “the door is locked anyway” when she begged to leave his bedroom.
And yesterday, Mendy was accused of grabbing another woman between her legs and asking her: “Why are you angry?”
He was accused of sexually assaulting the alleged victim at a pool party at his mansion in January 2021.
In a police interview, shown to Chester Crown Court, the woman claims the former French international questioned why she was annoyed then told her: “You look better when you smile.”
She told a detective: “I was just shocked. I was just taken aback by it.

Ryan Giggs showed off photo of ‘rough sex injury’ to ex-girlfriend Kate Greville after exchanging texts

RYAN Giggs joked that his partner was a “bully” after showing her a photo of an injury she’d given him during “rough sex”, a court heard today. The Man Utd ace – who has admitted he “never” stays faithful, either to former wife Stacey Giggs or other partners – said he and ex-girlfriend Kate Greville had a “mutual” interest in adventurous sex.

PR exec Kate claims he headbutted her as she packed her bags after allegedly learning he was cheating with 12 womenCredit: Tim Stewart
Messages between the couple were shown to jurors today. In one from 2019, Giggs showed Kate a photo of a mark on his neck. He captioned it: “Bully.”
She replied: “Oops, sorry baby. I had a bruise on my arm but you can’t see it because I was so brown.”
The former player said today that his remark was light-hearted – adding: “I was calling Kate a bully because I had a scratch on my neck from when we had sex.”
Another exchange from 2017 was also shown to the court. In one message, Giggs told Kate he was “scared of hurting her” when she asked for rough sex.

The complainant had written: “I want you so badly. Rough xx.”
Giggs replied: “Do you? I’m scared of hurting you.”
Kate then messaged: “I want it to hurt a little, not in a weird way, I just want you to shock and surprise me.”
He said today: “My concern was just that I didn’t want to hurt her… We were going to have rough sex and there’s a fine line between rough sex and hurting Kate.”
    Most read in Football
Giggs has previously told the court that while he is a “love cheat”, he has never behaved violently towards a woman.
PR exec Kate, 36, alleges Giggs headbutted her during the breakdown of their relationship after she learned he was cheating with 12 different partners.
The defendant admits his head may have “clashed” with hers during a “tussle” when she wouldn’t give his phone back.
However, he told cops: “I did not consciously try to hit Kate.”
The 48-year-old said tensions began to rise on a night out at Manchester’s Stock Exchange. He claimed Kate pushed a phone “in his face” to show him messages between himself and another woman.
He said she’d accused him of infidelity before, and admitted some of the accusations were “justified”, although claims she was wrong on the night of the incident.
    ‘BULLY’
Giggs then returned home to his £1.7million mansion in Worsley, Greater Manchester, but refused to let Kate and her sister Emma, 26, leave the property with their shared puppy Mac. He asked the sisters to go – but alleged they refused.
A fight then began as he believed Kate had his phone.
He told the court today: “As I went to grab the phone – I’m facing the cloakroom door, Kate has her back to the cloakroom door – we both slipped on the bags and I fell on Kate into the cloakroom.”
Asked if it was deliberate, he said: “No, we just totally lost balance because we slipped on the shopping bags.
“Kate ended up on her back, I was on top of her, rather than falling forward I went down… my head was on her waist.
“Then Kate just proceeded to kick me in the head.”
    Yesterday in court:

Giggs admitted he’s a “love cheat” who has NEVER stayed faithful
He claimed he and ex Kate Greville would have “rough sex”
The former footballer said he’s “unable to resist” an attractive woman
However, he says he has never behaved violently towards any of his partners or any other woman
He said he did not deliberately headbutt Kate, but their heads may have “clashed” during a “tussle” when she took his phone after allegedly learning he was cheating with 12 people

He said he was kicked about six or seven times before getting up and walking away.
But moments later the row began again after he grabbed Kate’s phone, believing she had his.
The situation became “aggressive” as she tried to wrench his hand from his pocket and the pair “clashed heads”, he said,
“It got more and more aggressive, a sort of tug-of-war, and we clashed heads,” he said.
“I could quite clearly see she was hurt. She sort of fell backwards.”
He said he hadn’t intended to cause Kate harm at any stage, and had never deliberately put his hands on her shoulders before headbutting her.
Giggs denies actual bodily harm, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assaulting Emma by beating her.
Kate alleged last week she’d been plotting her escape from their “toxic” relationship by secretly signing up for a new flat after learning of his affairs.
The couple were both married when they met each other and began an affair.
Kate left her husband six months after their romance began – but Giggs said he wanted to “have his cake and eat it” by maintaining a family life and continuing the affair.
He finally split with Stacey in May 2016 when she learned about Kate.
    ‘TOXIC’
But the pair didn’t last, and began to struggle last June before finally ending things in November after Kate accused Giggs of violence.
The complainant has claimed living with the footballer during lockdown was “utter hell” as she faced a “cycle of abuse” and became a “slave to his every need and every demand”.
Elsewhere, jurors have heard allegations Kate had told Giggs she was having “cancerous cells” removed in hospital – when she was instead getting her contraceptive coil taken out.
In one message, she said: “They couldn’t get it all in one go so need to go back on Tuesday.”
His lawyer Chris Daw QC asked: “Did she tell you the real reason she was going – to get her contraceptive coil removed?”
    He replied: “No, she didn’t.”
    Read More on The Sun
The pair “continued to have unprotected sex” up until Giggs was arrested on November 1 2021, it was said. At the time, he had no idea Kate’s coil had been removed, he said.
