Gary Lineker laughs off Match of the Day ‘porn noise’ scandal & enjoyed half-time analysis with sex-filled innuendo

GARY Lineker yesterday laughed off the Match of the Day “porn noise” scandal — and said he took great pleasure filling his half-time analysis with sex-filled innuendo. The presenter said the BBC has had to look at its security measures following YouTuber Daniel “Jarvo” Jarvis’s stunt.

The presenter said he enjoyed his half-time analysis with sex-filled innuendo – pictured The Sun’s coverage of the story
But Gary, 62, who memorably had an on-pitch “accident” during England’s 1990 World Cup opener, joked: “If you told me yesterday morning that I’d be on the front page of The Sun, involved with a porn scandal, I’d have s*** myself — again!”
Gary added: “I thought it was funny, and the YouTube prankster has shown his work.
“It was that loud that I couldn’t really hear myself think, or what the other guys were saying, and realised people could probably hear it at home so I knew I had to both keep it together, whilst also addressing the matter.
“In these situations, you have to keep your head.

“Yes, it’s funny but you can’t overwhelm the show — you can’t ignore it.
“But, and after the studio manager had located the strap-on phone, I started to have a bit of fun with it all.
“So at half-time every question I asked about the analysis, my comments were some kind of reference to it.
“Things like ‘Wolves huffed and puffed’ or ‘the only goal was a screamer — and not the only screamer we had’, and ‘Liverpool pressed really hard in trying to get behind them’ — all that kind of thing.

“It was daft but it really did amuse me. And once I realised it was a prank, I knew that if I started laughing I probably wouldn’t have stopped.
“It was the most surreal and one of the strangest things I’ve ever encountered in broadcasting.”
Prankster Jarvo, a serial pitch invader, had broken into the studio and activated a sexy sounds ring tone on a mobile phone, which he hid on the set.
He then called the phone during Gary’s studio segments at the Wolves v Liverpool FA Cup replay at Molineux on Tuesday.
The BBC later issued a po-faced apology.
    But Gary questioned that decision.
He said: “I’m not sure why the BBC apologised because it’s not our fault obviously.
“It’s a security issue, and there is a serious side to it; if someone can do that, they can do something else with something that could be more dangerous.
“But, in this instance, I felt that universally people were finding it really funny.

“And actually I have to agree with them, even if it was at our expense.
“It was enjoyed, I think . . . much like those people on that phone!” More

It was later revealed that a notorious prankster had hidden a mobile phone on the TV set at Molineux for Liverpool’s FA Cup win at Wolves.
Daniel Jarvis, who is a serial pitch invader, then activated the sexy sounds ring-tone simply by ringing the mobile as he watched the live pictures on BBC1.

A spokesperson said: “We apologise to any viewers offended during the live coverage of the football this evening. We are investigating how this happened.”

The honking noises started just moments before the FA Cup third round replay was about to get underway.
It was first played as Lineker went live to co-commentator Shearer who was waiting to speak to him in the stadium.
Lineker started laughing and said: “I don’t know who’s making that noise.
“I don’t know if somebody is sending a joke on someone’s phone, I don’t know if you heard it at home.”

Lineker took to Twitter to reveal exactly what had happened by uploading a photo of a phone taped to the back of the set.
The caption said: “Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing.”
Serial pitch invader Jarvis claimed responsibility for the incident.
The YouTuber, whose account name is Jarvo69, hosted a live stream as he hijacked the BBC’s coverage.

Major update in Dani Alves sex assault case as victim goes to cops after CCTV ‘shows ex-Barca star with her in loo’

A WOMAN who named Dani Alves as her alleged attacker after she was sexually assaulted in a Barcelona nightclub has now made a formal police complaint. Cops confirmed that they were investigating the incident that took place at the swanky Sutton club, a bar frequented by the rich and famous in the Spanish city.

Spanish paper ABC reported at the weekend that the unnamed woman had identified Brazilian international Alves to police as the man who allegedly molested her.
Barcelona-based news site El Taquigrafo also claims that it has seen CCTV footage showing Alves entering a bathroom in the nightclub alone with the woman in the early hours of December 30 before exiting 47 seconds later.
In a detailed account of the footage it claimed to have viewed, it said the woman burst into tears when Alves left the venue with a male friend 10 minutes later.
Two female friends who were with the victim then alerted security staff who called the police.

Alves, 39, has yet to make any official comment with representatives telling Spanish press he was in the nightclub briefly but insisting nothing happened.
A spokesman for the Mossos d’Esqudra police force said: “The victim of an alleged indecent assault at a nightspot in Barcelona on the night of December 30 to 31 has presented a formal complaint.
“She filed that complaint at a police station on Monday.
“A report will now be submitted to an investigating court which will determine what steps should subsequently be taken.”

It means the footballer may now be summoned to court to give his version of events.
    NIGHTCLUB ATTACK
On Saturday police confirmed that they were investigating an alleged assault at the nightclub before the attacker was named by ABC as Dani Alves.
The site claimed that the woman had pointed the finger at Alves after raising the alarm.
She claims that the attacker put his hand inside her underwear at the iconic nightclub.
She is said to have told her friends who then alerted security staff, sparking the activation of a city hall protocol in place for sex assaults and harassment inside privately-owned nightspots which included taking her to a “safe space” and calling in the police immediately.
ABC said: “The Catalan police went to the venue and when the victim spoke to them about the incident, the supposed aggressor had already left the nightclub.”
In the days following the attack, the woman at the centre of the probe failed to attend a police station and present a formal complaint.
The former Barcelona right-back, who in Qatar last month became the oldest player to represent Brazil at a World Cup, denied any wrongdoing but was not questioned by detectives.
ABC added: “Contacted by this paper, the footballer’s entourage have denied the allegations.
“They insist the information is false, although Alves was inside the venue, albeit for a short space of time.”
However, the victim made the official complaint on January 2 and Alves is now the subject of a full investigation by the Barcelona police.
The next step is for the Mossos to process the complaint in the courts to open a judicial procedure that could end in a summons.
Alves, who left Barcelona during the summer and signed for Mexican side UNAM Pumas, has yet to make any official comment.
Very soon after the allegation was made, thE footballer swiftly returned to Mexico to join back up with his team.
That means that the court may decide to summon him remotely rather than force him to return to Barcelona.
The footballer, who is married to Tenerife-born model Joana Sanz, wished his fans Happy New Year in a message posted on Instagram early this morning/Sunday morning.
He wrote: “Happy 2023 to all. May the love between us reverberate and evil and grudges diminish from the hearts.”
Spanish model Joana has since taken down her Instagram account although it is not clear if it was removed in light of the allegations.
As well as two spells at Barcelona, Alves has played for Seville, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Sao Paulo.
He is widely considered as one of the greatest full-backs of all time.
He has been a full international for Brazil since 2006 and is the nation’s second most-capped player of all time.
Alves became the oldest Brazilian to play in a FIFA World Cup by playing in his nation’s defeat against Cameroon in the final round of Group G games.
He said before the game: “It’s normal people might question me because of my age or because I might not be at my best at this minute.

Wayne Rooney makes shocking revelation about penis size in bizarre team talk to DC United players

The ex-England skipper, who once said he was “the big man”, told them that having a “tiny penis” had not stopped him.
However, it went down like a lead balloon among his Washington-based side.
A source said: “It was very funny and he hoped using personal references would make it look like the speech was from the heart.
“But the majority of his side were left bemused and struggled to understand what his sex life and size of his manhood had anything to do with what happens on the pitch.

“A few of the young lads were horrified. They don’t share the same British sense of humour.”
The dad of four — who has been accused of cheating on wife Coleen, 36, several times — also opened up about his off-field mistakes.

He told his players he came back from “f***-ups” and they could do likewise.
Rooney took over DC United in July but finished bottom of the MLS eastern conference.

I’m a sexpert – my bedroom tips for England heroes and their WAGs will help us win the World Cup

THE pressure of representing their country at the World Cup can take a huge toll on players. But a sex and relationship expert reckons she knows exactly how Gareth Southgate can revitalise his team after matches.
Natalia believes players like Eric Dier should be able to let off some steam with fiancee Anna Modler after matches
Natalia Kobylkina believes the England squad should be able to have sex after matches – but not the day beforeCredit: Supplied
Sexologist Natalia Kobylkina is urging the England manager to let his players go into sex-tra time with their wives and girlfriends – but ban romps the day before a game.
She tells The Sun: “If they win and perform well they should be rewarded by being able to perform equally well when they see their loved ones after the game.
“That will also, hopefully, get them in the right frame of mind for the next fixture.”
But while she firmly believes sex games are good for the squad, too much nookie could hamper their chances of bringing home the World Cup.
    READ MORE ON WAGS
She explains: “It is very important for the guys to be ready for action when they get out onto the field.
“You can’t expect that to happen if they have been putting all their energies into making love with their partner in the run-up to matches.”
Natalia, 38, believes to get the best out of his team, Southgate must ban any performances in the bedroom 72 hours before each game and save the reward for when the game is over.
She argues the players need to have heightened levels of testosterone and cortisone in their bodies to maximise their prowess on the pitch.

Natalia adds: “If Gareth Southgate follows my advice, England can go all the way to lift the trophy – and the wives and girlfriends will have fulfilled an important role in winning the World Cup.”
    No to ‘sex ban’
Natalia, 38, says it’s not feasible to ask players not to have sex for more than a month throughout the tournament.
She says: “They will start to get depressed and frustrated. Their heads will drop and they won’t be at their best.
“You wouldn’t impose a month-long sex ban for players during a normal season. It just wouldn’t work.
“So it’s not going to work in Qatar either. It’s not as if the WAGS aren’t there!”
    Romp o’clock
Natalia believes a month-long sex ban is impossible for the likes of Raheem Sterling and fiancée Paige Milian
Harry Maguire and wife Fern will have to say no to sex too close to matches, says NataliaCredit: Instagram
Natalia, who is based in London and boasts an international client list of athletes, entrepreneurs and politicians, reckons she knows the best time a player should have sex in order to give their best performance – on the pitch, that is.
“The optimum time for a male footballer, like any elite male athlete, to have sex before a major sporting event is 72 hours,” she says.
“That way the players can be at their peak mentally and physically for the challenge ahead.
“Sex can be a reward for winning or a consolation for losing. So a win-win scenario for the players and, of course, their wives and girlfriends!
    ‘Stay strong for England’
Natalia says WAGS like Anouska Santos, Luke Shaw’s partner must “stay strong” for EnglandCredit: Instagram @anouskasantos
In order for the Squad to bring the World Cup home, WAGS must only have sex with their men after matches, says NataliaCredit: Instagram
For the WAGS who have made it to Qatar to cheer on their men, Natalia says: “If you want your man to do well on the pitch you have to say ‘no’ to sex for 72 hours before each game.
“You need to stay strong for England. Once the games are over, that’s when you can let your defences down – and hopefully the boys can rise to the occasion!
“The lads need to reach the maximum levels of their animal potential. They need to be hungry for sex and hungry for the ball – obviously not at the same time!

“That way their all-round game will be so much better.
“If they have sex too close to kick-off they won’t have either the energy or the motivation to do their best.”

Benjamin Mendy claims he asked ‘rape victims’ directly if they wanted to have sex ‘to avoid dates or conversation’

BENJAMIN Mendy claimed he asked his alleged rape victims if they wanted to have sex to avoid dates or conversation, a court heard. The Manchester City footballer, 28, was asked about his attitude towards sex at the time the offences are said to have taken place.

Mendy said: ‘I was trying to be more direct’Credit: Andy Kelvin / Kelvinmedia
Mendy said: “I was trying to be more direct to avoid conversation or go on dates.
“That’s why I was quick and direct if they wanted to have sex, to avoid all that.”
Timothy Kray KC, prosecuting, during a second day of cross-examination at Chester Crown Court, put it to the Premier League player that he does not see women as individual people and thinks normal rules do not apply to him so he gets it “terribly wrong” in believing they are consenting to sex.
Mendy admitted he regrets his partying lifestyle and told jurors he is “crazy” and that his life was like being on a “fast train” that kept “going and going” until he was arrested and had time to think in jail.

The 28-year-old French international is accused of being a “predator” who turned the pursuit of women for sex into a game, regularly going clubbing in Manchester before holding “after-parties” where young women were invited back to a city centre apartment or his Cheshire mansion and sexually assaulted.
He denies rape and sexual assaults on six women and told the jury any sexual contact was always consensual.
One rape complainant has claimed Mendy told her having sex with him was a “privilege” and he had had sex with 10,000 women.
Mr Kray asked Mendy: “You didn’t really see them as people, just things to be used for sex.
    Most read in The Sun
“That’s how you did see them and how you would get it terribly wrong about whether they were consenting or not?”
    Mendy replied: “No.”
The jury heard that, during the pandemic, the flat Mendy rented in Manchester and his home, The Spinney, in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire, were used for lockdown-busting parties, to prey on young women.
Mr Kray continued: “Did you think the rules did not apply to you? You had parties because you had this lust for sex?”
Mendy said: “No. At the time I was just partying. I was not thinking that well.”
Mr Kray said: “You were a danger to women, weren’t you? Because you did not see any consequences of breaking really important rules?”
Mendy said: “No, never. Having a social life, I did lots of things.”
The jurors were shown a CCTV clip of Mendy in a nightclub, dancing with women and holding his crotch.
Mr Kray said: “That’s what you thought about at the time – what’s in your pants – and you had sex with them no matter what they thought.”
Mendy denies seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault against six young women.

His co-accused, Louis Saha Matturie, 41, of Eccles, Salford, denies six counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault relating to seven young women.
