However, they saw their effort fly into the SIDE netting and bounce clearly away from the goal – a blatant miss to many.
But Noicattaro players were left fuming as the ref somehow awarded a goal.

Fans online picked up on the incident but chose to highlight the celebrations of the visitors.
Taking to Reddit, one user said: “The audacity to celebrate that, no idea what the ref saw as well.
“Even if it looked in from his angle, I can’t understand how he’d still think it was a goal after he saw the ball bouncing away.”
A second user remarked: “The ref must’ve known he was wrong when the player who took the shot doesn’t celebrate and he has an entire team in his face saying it didn’t go in.”

A third scoffed: “I can’t even imagine having the audacity to celebrate.”

But in two-and-a-half seasons for Serie A side Torino he has already racked up more than 100 appearances for the club.
He also returned to the Premier League for the 2020/21 campaign after joining Fulham on loan, playing 31 games in the top flight as the Cottagers were relegated.
However, his difficult periods in west London do not appear to have deterred Jesse Marsch as Leeds focus on his consistent displays in Italy.
Aina’s current contract with Torino is due to expire in the summer.

And according to Tuttosport, a third stint in England looks to be on the cards after talks stalled over a new deal.

Barcelona got £225m offer for Messi in 2006 from Inter – more than QUADRUPLE the world-record transfer fee at time

BARCELONA turned down a £225million Inter Milan bid for Lionel Messi in 2006, according to their former club president Joan Laporta. The Catalan politician served as the club’s chief between 2003 and 2010 before returning last year.

And Laporta, 60,was asked about the future of unhappy talisman Lionel Messi – leading to a stunning admission.
Last April, he told Radio Onda Cero: “Nobody who loves Barcelona can have doubts about Messi.
“We rejected a £225m offer coming from Inter in 2006. [Massimo] Moratti wanted to bring him to his club.”
The offer dwarfed what was the then transfer world-record, which was the £46.6m that Real Madrid paid for Zinedine Zidane in 2001.

At the time, inspired by the likes of Javier Zanetti, Adriano and Luis Figo, Inter had just won Serie A – while Messi had picked up his first Champions League medal with Barca.
The Argentine, now 35, has gone on to pick up three more – but not since 2015.
Ultimately, Barcelona lost their talisman for nothing when he departed for Paris Saint-Germain once his contract expired before the beginning of the last campaign.
And former club figure Jaume Llopis has hammered Laporta for his handling of the Messi and CVC investment saga.

The former Espai Barca member told Cadena SER: “The first contract was not accepted because, according to Laporta, it meant mortgaging the TV rights of Barcelona for the next 50 years.
“But CVC were willing to negotiate. And they did not negotiate either.
“Laporta was convinced by Ferran Reverter, the new CEO, that it was not possible to sign with CVC, and by Florentino Perez with the European Super League project.
“It also happens that Ferran Reverter has a long-standing friendship with Florentino Perez and between them they convinced him and Laporta to radically change his mind and refuse to continue negotiating.” More

Napoli possess an option to make Ndombele’s transfer permanent at the end of the season for around £26.5million.
But after his exchange with Spalletti, Spurs supporters are pessimistic that the Italian table toppers will take them up on the deal.
The Neapolitans fell to their first defeat of the season last night, going down 1-0 to champions Inter Milan.
Ndombele began the match on the bench, before replacing Frank Anguissa with just 14 minutes to go.

Spurs smashed their transfer record to sign Ndombele for £65m back in 2019.
He made 91 appearances for Spurs over the following two-and a-half years – representing five managers in the process, including caretaker Ryan Mason.
