‘Just one of them would be enough!’ – Frustrated Mourinho names dream forward signings as he fumes at strikers

And Mourinho cast an envious eye towards Bayern Munich.
The German champions dumped PSG out of the Champions League on Wednesday with a 2-0 victory for a 3-0 aggregate success.
Bayern paraded their squad strength by bringing on former Liverpool frontman Sadio Mane, ex-Manchester City winger Leroy Sane and one-time Arsenal wideman Serge Gnabry, who poached their late second goal.
In contrast, Mourinho had little back-up for his front two Tammy Abraham and Paulo Dybala.

And  La Gazetta dello Sport report the Portuguese manager as saying: “Against PSG, Bayern had Gnabry, Mane and Sane on the bench.
“Just one of them would have been enough for me.
“Like this, I could have replaced Dybala and perhaps score one more goal.”
Abraham did tee up Roma’s early opener for winger Stephan El Shaarawy before defender Marash Kumbulla doubled the Serie A team’s victory margin three minutes from time.

But United and even Chelsea are tipped to show interest in 11-cap Englishman Abraham over the summer.
At least, though, Mourinho was happy with Roma’s display in general.
He told Sky Italia: “The boys’ merit was their organization, their effort and their empathy on the pitch.
“We were good at controlling the game even without the ball.”

Juventus legend Chiellini confesses he was a ‘fool’ to snub Arsenal’s £66k-a-year offer when he was just 16-years-old

FORMER Juventus centre-back Giorgio Chiellini has lifted the lid on his failed move to Arsenal in 2001 and says he was a “fool” to reject the club. The ex-Italy international claims the Gunners offered him a huge salary when he was just 16, but felt it would be a betrayal to leave Livorno.

Arsene Wenger was keen to bring the defender to North London, but Chiellini has revealed he was too loyal to Livorno, a decision he now regrets.
The nine-time Serie A champion has stated that he was offered a whopping 200million Italian Lira-a-year by Arsenal, which was roughly around £66,000-per-year.
Speaking to So Foot via Goal in February 2021 about his failed move, the 38-year-old said: “In hindsight, I was a fool to decline that offer.
    “I was 16, I played in Serie C, I got a huge offer for just under 200 million lira-a-season.

“I didn’t feel ready. If I had accepted, it would have given the impression of betraying Livorno.”
Chiellini would leave the following year for Roma, before linking up with Juventus 15 years ago.
He received 117 caps for Italy before retiring from international football earlier this year.
The centre-back then also bidded farewell to Juve in 2022, as he joined Los Angeles FC.

Chiellini could have ended up at Arsenal later in his career after Robin van Persie revealed he urged Wenger to sign him, however his plea was ignored.
On the Effe Relativeren Podcast last year, the ex-Gunners skipper said: “At a given moment I felt called upon to say what Arsenal could do better in order to win the league.
“I felt we lacked a winning mentality, and asked Arsene Wenger to sign Giorgio Chiellini.
“I have played against him a few times, and he is a genuine winner. You could see that when he played against Holland a few weeks ago.

The Mexican international has helped Napoli to go 15 points clear at the top of the table and is a huge fan favourite.
However, Lozano’s contract is believed to be expiring in 2024 and that could force them to cash in this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing.
The star was initially linked with a move to England during his time in Holland.
And reports that both Arsenal, Newcastle and Everton are all still keen have emerged over recent months.

Now journalist Raffaele Auriemma has told Radio CRC that Chelsea are also interested in what could be a £44.5m transfer deal.
He said: “Chelsea likes the Mexican footballer, given that the Blues coach [Graham Potter] likes this type of winger.
“In this case, the Neapolitan club can collect 50 million and pay it cash into Sassuolo’s coffers to take Lauriente and Frattesi.”
Lozano is nicknamed “Chucky” in his homeland.

Juventus trigger Moise Kean’s £25m permanent transfer option days after Everton ace is sent off after 40 seconds

JUVENTUS have reportedly triggered the £25million option to sign Moise Kean from Everton just days after his 40 second red card shame. The 23-year-old forward left the Turin club for the Premier League back in 2019.
Juventus have reportedly triggered the clause to sign Moise Kean permanentlyCredit: Rex
However, the Italian international struggled at Everton and only scored twice in 32 top-flight appearances before he was first shipped out on loan to Paris Saint-Germain.
Kean was then returned to Juventus in August 2021 on a two-year loan deal which included an obligation to buy him for £25m.
Since then he has scored 10 Serie A goals in 55 appearances and his displays have already allegedly convinced the Turin side to sign him long-term.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano backed up an earlier claim from elsewhere by tweeting: “Moise Kean, no longer Everton player as Juventus have already triggered the buy option clause for €28m.

“Full agreement was already in place last year, Kean can be considered 100% Juve player as @romeoagresti reports.”
It comes after Kean was sent off 40 SECONDS after coming on for Juventus in Sunday’s 1-0 loss at Roma.
He kicked out wildly at matchwinner Gianluca Mancini 20 seconds after arriving in the 89th minute – and departed after another 20 seconds.
Kean, 23, had replaced Colombian wideman Juan Cuadrado as Juve piled on the pressure for an equaliser.

And that desperate last-ditch move from boss Max Allegri promptly became even more despairing.
Kean instantly saw red for lashing out at defender Mancini, who had cracked a stunning decider for Jose Mourinho’s Roma on 53 minutes.
Mancini seemed to drag the tumbling Kean in a bizarre tangle as Juventus attacked down the left.
The frontman responded by booting the home hero up the backside.
And although Mancini collapsed in ridiculous fashion, clutching his leg as if shot, Kean had to go.
He has since been hit with a £8,900 fine and received a two-game ban for the red. More

Radja Nainggolan, 34, was once a top European midfielder for club and country.
The Belgian made his name with stunning performances for Cagliari and Roma.
And he went on to win the Italian league with Inter Milan in 2021.
Nainggolan, who also had a second loan spell at Cagliari, then returned to his homeland with Antwerp.

But he ended up leaving in December following a series of controversies.
Nainggolan first lost his licence for drink-driving and speeding, just ONE week into his Antwerp career.
And in October he was suspended indefinitely for smoking an e-cigarette on the bench.
He ended up being forced to work with the youth team before leaving by mutual consent.

Nainggolan has now lashed out at Antwerp by sensationally claiming he was treated like a “piece of s***” after falling out with club president Paul Gheysens.
And after joining Italian minnows SPAL in January, he claims he is now happier playing for “peanuts.”
Nainggolan told the Antwerp Gazette via Marca: “In Antwerp they treated me like a parasite, like I was a piece of s***.
“They took Marc Overmars as sporting director to try to get me back into the main team, but nobody dared to go against the president.
“I did my best in the B team, I supported the youngest… I have been in many clubs and they have never treated me like this, I could not even enter through the main door of the training centre.
“My daughters were the main reason I returned to Belgium. Otherwise I could only be with them on vacation and I wanted to stay in Antwerp.
“Even losing a lot of money, as was the case, but that was not a problem.
“But the president even forced me to leave the country and I will never forgive him. In SPAL I play in exchange for ‘peanuts’ but with pleasure, I enjoy…”.
Speaking at the time of Nainggolan’s release, Antwerp chief Gheysens said: “He couldn’t play here anymore. That was impossible in this group.
“That doesn’t mean we’re going to break up in a fight. We settled everything amicably.

Conte will look to guide his troops to a comeback victory over AC Milan, who turned them over in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at the San Siro on Valentine’s Day.
But according to reports, he could return to the stadium next season as manager of one of Serie A’s big boys.
That’s according to The Times, who claim Conte’s recent stay in his homeland recovering from surgery has “strengthened his desire” to return.
Both Inter Milan and Juventus are said to be keen on acquiring his services.

It’s claimed Conte’s return to Italy could hinge on Spurs being dumped out of Europe’s elite club competition.
It’s said an exit at the last-16 stage could “hasten” Conte’s departure from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The former Chelsea and Inter boss has a year left on his contract with the north Londoners and has mulled over leaving them for pastures new.
It’s understood, however, that he’ll see out the remainder of his deal if he’s “happy” come the end of the season.
