And it seems he has been unable to shake the itch, now chasing a clean sweep of domestic trophies in Qatar.
With just one month of the season to go, Crespo’s side sit at the top of the Qatar Stars League with a two point lead having played a game less than second place Al-Arabi.

Inter lifted the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League but Mourinho did not stay at the San Siro.

Materazzi would not let Mourinho do that, explaining: “I told him ‘f*** you’ because he was leaving me with [Rafael] Benitez.”
The Spaniard took over and lasted just six months in charge of Inter before he was sacked.

And dropped a hint on his Tottenham futureCredit: Rex
Ndombele fell out of favour under the Italian and was shipped out on loan by the club, landing at Serie A league leaders Napoli.
On his time in London, Ndombele told French outlet So Foot: “It wasn’t easy in London.
“[I had] Too many physical problems, everything went too fast and I didn’t really understand where I was.
“I think I have given more to Tottenham than to Napoli, but the season we are experiencing allows me to be looked at with different eyes.”
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
The 26-year-old has appeared 34 times for Napoli this season, though many of his appearances have come from the bench.
At Spurs he has played 91 matches, scoring 10 goals and adding nine assists.
But Ndombele was critical of how Conte handled his situation before he left, blasting: “There was no other solution with Tottenham and I’m happy to have chosen Naples.
“With Conte I had no choice. I would have liked to prove my worth on the pitch but I was on the edge of the group. I was told from the first day of training camp with the team [I was not in plans].”

Regardless, he remains open to having a future at the North London club.
He added: “I don’t know what my future will be, many fans are asking me to return to Tottenham but the clubs will decide and Napoli have an option to buy.
“I don’t mind being on loan here, but sometimes I see players being treated more like goods than people.”
Ndombele arrived at Tottenham for a club record of £65million in 2019 under fan-favourite Mauricio Pochettino.
However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy criticised their purchase of Ndombele after the club’s 2022 financial results were released.
He said: “We have felt, and continue to feel, the financial impact of supporting player purchases which have not worked out as planned.
“We have taken steps to improve this area of operations and we believe the recent transfer windows reflect this.” More

And she bravely ran to the crowd and provided medical treatment for the fan.

But, according to Gazetta Regionale, her efforts were in vain as the fan tragically passed away.

How Chelsea could line up under Jose Mourinho next season with club ‘making contact’ with former boss

THIRD time may be a charm for Jose Mourinho after he was linked with the Chelsea job. Having been at the club twice before, Mourinho has reportedly been contacted to take over the reins for a third time once Frank Lampard’s caretaker spell comes to an end in the summer.

This could see the likes of Tammy Abraham return to the clubCredit: Getty
Since his last stint at the club, three-time Premier League winner Mourinho has managed Manchester United, Tottenham and is now at Roma – though reports suggest this could change in the summer.
The Portuguese boss still holds a fiery temperament, but may have evolved in his liking for players.
And should he be picked up by Chelsea again, it begs the question of how the Blues might line up.
One plausible theory is him using his Roma connections to overhaul Chelsea’s misfiring attack.

Tammy Abraham and Paulo Dybala could be the major signings under Mourinho – with Leonardo Spinazzola coming in at left back and Ilan Meslier in goal
Ex-Blues star Tammy Abraham could make his return to Stamford Bridge, partnering with Paulo Dybala just off of him.
Dybala, 29, would be a surprisingly cost-effective option for Chelsea in the transfer market, with a reported release clause for foreign clubs of just £10.5million (€12m).
Despite the presence of Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella, Mourinho may also opt to bring in a fresh face in Leonardo Spinazzola, owing to the Englishman’s injury issues and Cucurella’s poor form.
A transfer for a new goalie may also be sanctioned in order to upgrade on Kepa Arrizabalaga.

This could see Leeds stopper Illan Meslier brought in, with Brentford’s David Raya an alternative.
Mourinho may even opt to use most of what he will inherit, particularly if Chelsea’s finances take a hit if they fail to qualify for Champions League football next season.
Mykhailo Mudryk has already been compared to club legend Eden Hazard, so it well within the realm of possibility for Mourinho to use his talents in a similar way.
A Thiago Silva led back-line would also give Mourinho the experience he likes in defence, while the likes of Benoit Badiashile and Enzo Fernandez patrol the areas around him.
Mason Mount could be given a new lease of life in a more structured system, with Mourinho also convincing Mateo Kovacic to stay.
Christopher Nkunku’s arrival is an open secret, and his creative ability may be make him instrumental as he drifts inside while Reece James bombs on with Abraham the team’s focal point in attack.
A transfer ban could see Mourinho utilise the talent already in the squad – but topped with Tammy Abraham
However, if Mourinho wanted to go for a very classical team, it could see him recruit Man Utd and Roma favourite Chris Smalling with Nemanja Matic joining him for the FOURTH time.
And what’s to say fan-favourite Hazard can’t make a triumphant return to Stamford Bridge following his issues at Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic may return with Chris Smalling joining Mourinho again in a very classic XI More
