Cristiano Ronaldo ‘asks Juventus to sign Karim Benzema’ as he eyes transfer reunion with Real Madrid striker

CRISTIANO RONALDO wants Karim Benzema to sign for Juventus to reignite the spark of their Real Madrid days, according to reports.
Despite winning another Scudetto, the summer is expected to involve plenty of turnover for the Bianconeri with Andrea Pirlo replacing Maurizio Sarri as coach.

Even Serie A MVP Paulo Dybala’s future is up in the air with Ronaldo also potentially available for £54million.
But La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that improving the frontline is on the agenda with Benzema eyed by his old Real colleague.
The French forward ended the season in terrific form, guiding Los Blancos to their first LaLiga title without Ronaldo since 2008.
And although he was unable to singlehandedly push Madrid to more Champions League glory, he comfortably finished as the club’s top scorer with 27 goals.

Whether Real are ready to let the 32-year-old go is widely doubted with two years left on the striker’s contract.
But few expected Ronaldo to make the switch to Turin and the pair did enjoy a very productive relationship in Spain, combining for four Champions League crowns and a pair of league titles.

Juventus’ ability to sign Benzema is also under threat by the coronavirus pandemic.
Wobbling club finances helped push through the sale of Miralem Pjanic, effectively a swap transfer for Arthur Melo and his cheaper wage packet.

A new contract for Dybala is also under threat amid reports he wants £260,000-a-week to finally end talk of a transfer away.
And Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has reportedly been touting his client around in a bid to grab the 35-year-old another Champions League winners’ medal.

Mino Raiola hoping to pair Everton flop Moise Kean with Zlatan Ibrahimovic at AC Milan as agent launches transfer talks

MINO RAIOLA is reportedly trying to engineer a potential switch to AC Milan for Everton flop Moise Kean.
The Italian striker’s agent is looking to bring the 20-year-old back to Italy after a dismal opening season in England.

Kean joined the Toffees from Juventus last year, but he has scored just twice in 33 games in all competitions.
And he could be the signing that convinces Zlatan Ibrahimovic to pen a new one-year deal at the San Siro.
According to Calciomercato, Raiola is in contact with Milan about extending his client’s stay in Serie A.
And they state that the 52-year-old is looking to facilitate Kean’s move to Milan where he would partner Ibrahimovic up top.

They claim that Everton would be willing to sell the youngster for a fee in the region of £22.5million.
But Milan would rather bring in the player on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti remains convinced Kean will stay at the club as he predicted the forward to be better next term.
He said: “Of course, he is a player we need to give support to, because he is young,

“He came here from Italy, so it was a new adaptation for him, a new country.
“Also, he was alone during the lockdown and so it was not an easy season for him.
“But this season can give him more experience and more knowledge. He will be better and play more next season.”

Cristiano Ronaldo no longer ‘untouchable’ at Juventus and could be sold for £54m with PSG considering shock transfer

JUVENTUS reportedly no longer consider Cristiano Ronaldo ‘non-transferable’ and could decide to cash-in for £54million.
Sport claim Paris Saint-Germain are keeping an eye on developments and may make a move after the Champions League has finished.

Ronaldo’s super-agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly already been offering him out to Europe’s biggest clubs ever since Juventus’ European Cup exit.
Despite a record-breaking campaign in front of goal and another Serie A title, the Portugal superstar’s season ultimately ended in disappointment.
Defeats in the Suppercoppa Italiana and Coppa Italia final were compounded by crashing out of the Champions League.
In the wake of the fall to Lyon, Maurizio Sarri was sacked and replaced by inexperienced club legend Andrea Pirlo.

Ronaldo, who still has two years left on his Juve deal, had been offered the chance to conquer France alongside Neymar at PSG.
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague sensationally claimed a return to LaLiga with Barcelona is another option for Ronaldo.
Yet a representative for the 35-year-old slammed the reports as “completely false”.

Although Juventus suffered fresh Champions League disappointment this month, Ronaldo pulled another stunning feat.
His brace against Lyon helped him break Felice Borrel’s record for the number of goals by any Juve player in all competitions in one season.
Ronaldo’s tally stood at 37 goals in 46 games at the end of this term – one more than the 36 Borrel’s scored the 1933-34 season.

Inter Milan enter transfer race for Man Utd star Chris Smalling who could reunite with Sanchez, Lukaku and Young

INTER MILAN have entered the race to sign Manchester United centre-back Chris Smalling, according to reports.
Inter boss Antonio Conte is said to be keen on reuniting him with former Red Devils Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young and Alexis Sanchez.

Inter Milan have entered the race to sign Man Utd defender Chris Smalling
The 30-year-old had a successful spell on loan at Roma this season.
And both Roma and Smalling were keen to make the deal permanent.
But United are holding out for £20million and with Roma only willing to pay £12m, the deal seems to have gone cold.
But Roma’s Serie A rivals Inter are ready to swoop, according to the Express.

Conte is said to have been impressed by Smalling’s ability in a back-three and plans on utilising him in the same way.
The England defender, 30, returned to Old Trafford last week after his loan with Roma ended.
He had become a huge favourite at the club after an impressive season, and is interested in a permanent move.

It is understood Smalling would like a return to Italy, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still a big fan of his.

He still has two years left on his £130,000-a-week United deal, which Roma were forced into paying a large chunk of.
SunSport understands the ex-Fulham ace would be willing to take a sizeable pay cut to secure a move away.

Arsenal and Chelsea dealt transfer blow with ‘Napoli leading race to sign £25m-rated Sergio Reguilon’

ARSENAL and Chelsea may have blown their chances of landing Sergio Reguilon – with the left-back reportedly agreeing to join Napoli.
The sought after Sevilla loanee is said to have an agreement in principle with the Serie A side, according to Calciomercato.

Earlier this week the Blues were revealed to be in pole position ahead of the Gunners in the race to prise Real Madrid star Reguilon away from the La Liga champions.

And FA Cup victors Arsenal were thought to be an option given the Spain international’s links with his new agent Kia Joorabchian.
However, Calciomercato claims Napoli have been in ongoing talks with the 23-year-old’s representatives over the past few days.
And the club, who finished seventh in Italy’s top football tier, are thought to be looking to sign the player for a price between £18million and £22million.

Reguilon is reported to have been keen to prove his worth to Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
The Madrid starlet scored three times in 36 appearances across all competitions for Sevilla last term.
One of the goals netted by the player was a strike that helped his team beat Roma to reach the Europa League finals this evening where they face Manchester United.

The Bernabeu player made an impressive impact during his loan spell at Sevilla and was named in WhoScored’s La Liga team of the season.

But the defender is thought to be surplus to Zidane’s requirements at Madrid.
Napoli’s Sports Director Cristiano Guintoli is reported to be an admirer of Reguilon, who helped his side keep five clean sheets in their final six LaLiga games of the season.

Lazio demand answer from David Silva over summer transfer TODAY after ignoring their calls ahead of £3.6m-a-year deal

LAZIO are threatening to pull the plug on their three-year, £3.6million-a-season offer for David Silva if the Spaniard does not respond today, according to reports.
The 34-year-old is now officially a free agent, after City’s shock 3-1 defeat to Lyon in Lisbon last night.

It was expected that Silva would sign for the Serie A club “in the coming weeks” after productive talks between both parties.
But things appear to have hit the rocks, with Silva reportedly “ignoring” Lazio’s calls.
And Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Lazio have become impatient with the situation, and will withdraw their offer if Silva does not respond by the end of today.
The 125-cap international was supposed to outline his intentions on Monday, but as of today has still not got back to them.

Any Silva U-turn would constitute a mini disaster for the Italians, who have made “big sacrifices” and “don’t want to wait around for nothing to be told no”.
Napoli, Juventus and former club Valencia are all thought to be interested in signing “El Mago”.

Xavi, 40, dreams of managing old club Barca but hailed the Prem’s “atmosphere, packed stadiums” and players as an exciting alternative.
The ex-midfielder told Sky Sports: “Obviously if I had to choose, I would choose a big team, City or United, Chelsea, Arsenal or Tottenham.
“Also, [Jurgen] Klopp and [Mauricio] Pochettino and Unai Emery, many people who have gone there are doing an extraordinary job.”
The 133-cap icon said of his former Nou Camp chief: “Pep Guardiola is the best coach in the world and I am a novice.

    ‘PASSIONATE, OBSESSIVE’
“The comparison happened as a player but now we can’t be compared. I am in love with Pep Guardiola’s football.
“You can win playing football in different ways but I like the one of City and Guardiola the most. I follow the Premier League a lot and I like it.
“He is a brilliant, demanding, passionate, obsessive person, that’s why he’s doing so well.
“It transmits a lot to the footballer. I learned a lot and enjoyed my time at his side.”

Xavi won four Champions League titles and La Liga eight times with Barca.

And he readily admits the Spanish giants would be his first choice once he has served his managerial apprenticeship.
He said: “I don’t hide it, my goal is to return to Europe and return to Barca.
“It is my challenge ahead, but I’m still learning in this project and I’m also enjoying it.”

Cristiano Ronaldo wants Man Utd transfer target Raul Jimenez to snub Old Trafford move and join him at Juventus

CRISTIANO RONALDO wants Manchester United target Raul Jimenez to join him at Juventus, according to reports.
The Wolves striker proved his potential after scoring 27 times across all competitions during the 2019/20 campaign.

    1

Raul Jimenez has emerged as a target for Juventus
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo has called for his club to make a move for Jimenez.
Juventus are on a mission to sign a new strike partner for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
And reports have heavily linked the Serie A giants to the 29-year-old Wolves forward.
Jimenez looks likely to leave Wolves after Nuno Espirito Santo’s side crashed out of the Europa League.

The Premier League club have reportedly set a price of £60million for the Mexican star.
He has been a huge hit for the club since arriving on loan from Benfica in 2018 before his move was made permanent for £30m last summer.
Ronaldo is keen for Jimenez to snub United’s interest to join him in Italy.

The Portuguese star had been tipped to leave the Turin club after a disappointing end to the season.

He had reportedly been offered a shock move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
But Spanish outlet AS quote one of his representatives who slammed the claims as “completely false”.
