Christian Eriksen ‘one of ELEVEN Inter stars up for sale’ months after transfer from Tottenham as Conte eyes overhaul

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN is one of 11 players Inter Milan could sell – just six months after his £20million switch from Tottenham.
That’s according to Sport Meidaset, with the Denmark playmaker rated at £55m despite his erratic season.

Manchester United target and Slovak centre-back Milan Skriniar is also on the list of possible departures as Inter boss Antonio Conte ponders a huge summer overhaul after slipping out of the title race.
But Eriksen’s plight is the most dramatic.
United and Real Madrid were both strongly linked with the 27-year-old in the January transfer window as he refused Spurs’ pleas to extend his contract beyond this summer.
Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was reportedly willing to pay £40m for him.

Expectations are high in Italy. The bigger the name you are, the more people expect.
    Inter boss Antonio Conte

But Solskjaer must be delighted he instead spent £68m on Porto’s Bruno Fernandes, who has become an instant Premier League sensation.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid reportedly had a verbal agreement to sign Eriksen, before Zinedine Zidane pulled out of the deal.
And Conte warned Eriksen he was under more pressure than in England after benching him for Monday’s 3-1 home win over Torino, which put Inter third, albeit still eight points off leaders Juventus.
Conte said: “He has to hold down certain levels, but balance is needed.

“He’s improving and he’s aware that he joined an ambitious club that is asking a lot of him.
“Expectations are high in Italy. The bigger the name you are, the more people expect from you.
“He’s committed and doing well, but I have to make decisions for the good of Inter.”
And another bad omen for Eriksen is speculation Inter are ready to hand one-cap Spain midfielder Boria Valero a new contract at the age of 35.

And there is even talk Conte is interested in Barcelona’s Chile ace Arturo Vidal, 33.
In total, former Ajax stylist Eriksen has notched one goal and two assists from his five starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A.
His cup record is better but against far more modest opposition.

Serie A giants Lazio add Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos to summer transfer window wishlist

LAZIO have added Rangers star Alfredo Morelos to their summer transfer wishlist.
The Italian giants are keen to land a top hitman ahead of the new Serie A season.

    1

Ibrox star Morelos has emerged as a potential £20million target for boss Simone Inzaghi.
Watford’s Luis Suarez and Crystal Palace’s Alexander Sorloth are also on Lazio’s radar.
But Italian sources have confirmed that sporting director Igli Tare is impressed by Morelos.
The Colombian is joint top scorer in the Europa League with six, having also netted eight in qualifiers.

Lazio’s title bid has faded lately, with the Rome side now eight points behind leaders Juventus.
Inzaghi has had to rely on talisman Ciro Immobile for goals.

The Italy star has 32 for the season but no other Lazio player has hit double figures yet.
Sporting director Tare, who last year spoke of his admiration for Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard, is leading the hunt.

Morelos’ fellow Colombian Suarez, 22, has also been scouted after a successful loan spell at Real Zaragoza this term.
He has yet to kick a ball for parent club Watford and is likely to be sold.
Norway striker Sorloth, on loan at Trabzonspor from Palace, is another attracting Lazio’s interest.
But Morelos’ prolific form for Rangers hasn’t gone unnoticed by Lazio.

The 24-year-old has 77 goals in 137 games for the Ibrox side since joining from HJK Helsinki in 2017.
Morelos is under contract until 2023 and Rangers are in a position to demand a huge fee.
Qataris Al Duhail made an approach last month but the striker will only consider a move to a top league.
Lazio could offer Champions League football and Rangers’ valuation wouldn’t be a problem for the Rome club.
Midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is expected to be sold for £70m this summer.
So Inzaghi will be handed a huge transfer budget and would also be able to offer Morelos — due to play for Gers against Lyon on Thursday — a bumper wage. More

Juventus plan to make Dybala the “face of the club” once legendary team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo hangs up his boots.

According to TuttoSport, the 26-year-old will receive a salary in the region of £9.1million annually to become the second-highest paid player at the club behind Ronaldo.
Dybala was on the brink of joining the Red Devils last summer and even held talks with club chiefs, before a deal fell through in the final stages.
Juventus were open to letting him leave having also agreed a deal with Tottenham but now he has become an integral figure under Maurizio Sarri.

He has featured 29 times, scoring 11 and assisting five as he begins to form a prolific partnership with Ronaldo.
Hinting that a contract is close to being signed, Juve’s Chief Football Officer Fabio Paratici said: “We are talking continuously with its managers.
“He is an important player, we made an important investment when he came.

“We have always believed in it, we have given it the number 10 shirt which has symbolic importance.

“There has always been trust in Paulo. We are sure that it will be the future of Juve.”

Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Juventus and fight for more trophies despite rumours he could quit this summer

JUVENTUS star Cristiano Ronaldo will definitely stay in Turin this summer, according to reports.
There had been faint rumblings of a potential move away for CR7, with Marseille’s prospective new owner admitting that he “dreams” of signing the Portuguese legend.

Ronaldo himself has also shown signs of frustration with Maurizio Sarri, having visibly rolled his eyes following his manager’s instructions during a recent match against Torino.
But according to Tuttosport, the 35-year-old remains fully committed to achieving his goals and winning more trophies in Italy with Juventus.
Since swapping Real Madrid for life in Serie A back in 2018, Ronaldo has scooped a league title and a Supercoppa Italiana for his troubles.
And he looks likely to add another Scudetto this time around – with his side now eight points clear of Lazio with six matches remaining.

Ronaldo netted 28 goals in his debut campaign in Italy – his lowest tally since 2009.
But he has already bettered that total this time around, having bagged goals number 31 and 32 against Atalanta at the weekend.

His side could do with another few once the Champions League gets going again next month, however.
Juve will belatedly host Ligue 1 side Lyon in the Round of 16 – having lost the first-leg 1-0 back in February.

Ronaldo has two years left on his current contract, and will be desperate to win a sixth Champions League medal with a third different club.

Police investigating after Cristiano Ronaldo’s 10-year-old son was filmed riding a jet ski alone in now-deleted video

POLICE are investigating after Cristiano Ronaldo’s ten-year-old son was filmed riding a jet ski alone.
The youngster’s aunt Elma, who is Ronaldo’s sister, loaded the footage on to her social media before removing it.

Portuguese press claimed the video, said to have been taken on Saturday in Paul do Mar off the south of Madeira where Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is holidaying with relatives, was also shared by his famous footballer dad and his doting grannie Dolores Aveiro before its removal.
Maritime Police chief Guerreiro Cardoso confirmed today that an investigation was underway.
He told respected Portuguese newspaper Expresso he was aware of what had happened and the incident was now being probed to ascertain exactly what had happened and “whether a fine had to be paid.”
He was also quoted as saying a skipper’s licence was needed to use a jet ski and only adults could hold one.

Under Portuguese law, individual fines for using a jet ski without the proper licence are understood to range between £268 and £2688.
Groups or private firms can be hit with fines of up to £10,750.
Police are understood to be trying to establish who the jet ski belonged to.

The adult or adults responsible for Cristianinho, as Cristiano Jr is nicknamed by his family, would be asked to pay the fine if any wrongdoing is established.

The reaction from social media users after Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister posted the footage on her Instagram on Sunday was immediate.
One said: “I was left with my heart in my hand when I saw the video.”
Another said: “Very bad. What a lack of responsibility. So young and riding a jet ski. I thought there was a minimum age to be able to do so.”
The footage Elma uploaded was taken from a boat packed with adults and children. It showed Cristianinho racing through the water before spinning round in circles as he was egged on from those on the luxury vessel.
Towards the end of the 1.30 minute video a woman in a life jacket could be seen jumping into the water, although the ten-year-old pilot is thought to have switched on the engine before she approached it. The youngster appeared to have a good command of the waverunner.
Although the footage was no longer on Elma’s Instagram page on Monday, she kept up photos thought to have been taken on the same trip showing Cristianinho on the boat with her and her mum Dolores.
One, showing her kissing the tanned youngster as she sat beside him with what appeared to be a glass of bubbly in her right hand, said: “Love of my life. How I love you little one.”
Dolores posted a photo of her with Cristianinho taken at a different time.Cristianinho only turned ten on June 17.
Dolores, who cheated death at the start of March after suffering a stroke, brought the youngster back from the States as a new-born baby. She told in an approved 2014 biography how she picked him up from a clinic in Florida because his dad was playing in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The identity of the mum is still a closely-guarded secret.

Cristiano is father to Alana Martina, two, with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
The identities of the mums of his other three children, said to have been born to surrogates, have never been revealed.
Ronaldo, 35, stunned the world in July 2010 by announcing on Twitter and Facebook he had become a father.

Koulibaly says Man City and Liverpool transfer links ‘bother’ him and insists he could end career at Napoli

KALIDOU KOULIBALY has poured cold water on speculation that he’s heading for Napoli’s exit this summer.
The Senegal international, rumoured to be a target for a host of Premier League giants, is adamant his attention is focused purely on his Stadio San Paolo career.

The 29-year-old had been heavily linked with Manchester United, neighbours City and Newcastle, who see the player as a cornerstone for their plans to become Premier League title contenders.
Champions Liverpool are also thought to be keen on swooping for the centre-back.
Koulibaly has been hotly tipped for a move away from Serie A over the past two seasons ,with Barcelona and PSG among the other European giants keen to sign him.

At the moment, I still have a three-year contract and I am not thinking of anything else but Napoli.
    Kalidou Koulibaly

The Senegal ace has three years remaining on his current contract with Napoli.

And he suggested he’s open to the idea of finishing his career in Naples.
Koulibaly told Gazetta Dello Sport: “I never spoke to Napoli about leaving. If we have to find a solution, we will find it, but I have never talked about the transfer market.
“I also read in the newspapers about my future.
“But I only want to think about playing, I am 100 per cent [committed to] Napoli and it bothers me to be linked, every day, to this or that European club.

“We will see what the president (Aurelio De Laurentiis) will decide and if he proposes to extend my contract, that would allow me to end my career here.

“At the moment, I still have a three-year contract and I am not thinking of anything else but Napoli.”
Koulibaly, has been a rock in the middle of Napoli’s back four since his move to the Serie A giants from Belgian side Genk in 2014
His performances for the club – where he has made 239 appearances across all competitions – have seen him evolve into one of the most revered defenders in European football.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic asks ‘who is Ralf Rangnick?’ in stunning rant about potential new AC Milan boss as he hints at exit

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has unleashed an astonishing rant after being asked about Ralf Rangnick taking over AC Milan.
The Swedish icon, 38, signed for the Rossoneri in January on a six-month deal, but his second spell could already be coming to a swift end.

    1

Rangnick, who currently serves as head of sport and development at Red Bull, has been heavily linked with the top job at Milan at the end of this term.
But in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport magazine Sportweek, Ibrahimovic brutally dismissed talk of Rangnick taking charge of the Serie A side, by savagely claiming: “Who is Rangnick?
“I don’t even know who he is”.
Ibrahimovic also admitted it’s “unlikely” that he will stay the San Siro next season unless there is a major revamp at the Italian outfit.

He continued: “Ibra plays to win something or he stays at home.
“They told me that retiring in America was too easy, so I came back to Milan. I am here purely for passion, because I’m basically playing for free.
“Then this Covid situation stopped everything and I thought, maybe there’s something trying to tell me that I should retire.
“Fortunately, we got back on the pitch. My calf managed to get involved too, but after two days I was ready to come back into the team.

“Ibra is like that. But they told me to take it slow.
“Ibra was born to play football and is still the best at playing football. We’ll see how I feel in two months.
“We’ll also see what’s happening with the club. If this is the situation, to be honest, it’s unlikely you’ll see me at Milan next season.
“Ibra is not a player for the Europa League and Milan are not a club who belong in the Europa League.”

Ibrahimovic reportedly had a spat with Ivan Gazidis when the club chief attended training to inform players of pay cuts.
The striker was said to be angry at the timing of his visit with the team due to face off with Juventus in the Coppa Italia semi-final two days later.
The Swedish ace added: “I spoke for me and for the team. I needed to have some explanations on the future, both mine and of Milan.
“I said that this is not the Grande Milan I once experienced, that is true, but we must do the best we can even in this situation. All the way to the end.
“Ibra is here, Ibra takes care of it. I have to be here or you’ll lose the fans. I don’t know if there will be another club after Milan, I never like to close doors to opportunities.
“I will only go somewhere I have some control, not where words are worth nothing. I still have too much passion for what I do.”

Milan have the option to extend Ibrahimovic’s deal by another 12 months, but there have been claims that the player could retire from football and become an agent alongside Mino Raiola.
The striker – who has netted six goals in 16 games since rejoining the club – decided on Italy after almost joining Leeds in the winter transfer window.
The Swedish legend even sparked AC Milan’s remarkable 4-2 comeback over leaders Juve with a second-half spot-kick.
And he couldn’t resist laughing at Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring from the spot after the Bianconeri hero had tried to put him off.

MANCHESTER CITY duo Nicolas Otamendi and Oleksandr Zinchenko could be used in a sensational swap deal with Napoli for Kalidou Koulibaly.

The former Premier League champions are interested in bringing in a centre-back, and scouts have kept an eye on the 29-year-old Senegal ace.
It is understood Napoli have already been in contact with City over the availability of both Otamendi and Zinchenko.
And that could pave the way for them to be used as part of a £65million-plus swoop for Koulibaly, regarded as one of the best defenders in Europe.
The Italian club have demanded £80m for one of their star men since last summer, after interest from across Europe.

Manchester United along with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have all made contact to check on his availability.
City feel he would be a solid replacement for John Stones, who is expected to quit the dethroned Premier League champions.
However, Etihad chiefs feel the price being asked is steep, and will try and bring that down by offering players in exchange.

Napoli have looked at bringing Otamendi, 32, in for a while now and see him as a solid replacement if they were to lose Koulibaly.

The Argentine has just one-year left on his contract, and it is understood he will not be offered fresh terms.
The Italians tried to sign 23-year-old Zinchenko last summer, but he wanted to stay and fight for his place.
