Cristiano Ronaldo LOSES Golden Boot race after being axed from Juventus squad for final Serie A game of the season

CRISTIANO RONALDO will miss out on the Serie A Golden Boot after being axed from the Juventus squad.
The 35-year-old superstar was chasing Lazio’s Ciro Immobile in the race to be Italy’s top league goalscorer.

Immobile, 30, has had a phenomenal year in front of goal bagging 35 goals in 36 games to help Lazio secure Champions League qualification.
Ronaldo has found the net 31 times in 33 league appearances for champions Juve.
There is one game left in the Serie A regular season as the Italian competition concludes this weekend.
But Ronaldo will NOT have a chance to catch up after being left out of his side’s squad for their game against Roma tonight.

Immobile will be confirmed as not only the winner of Serie A’s Golden Boot but Europe’s Golden Shoe.
Even if Ronaldo had taken to the field he would have needed a minor miracle to claim the gong.
The former Real Madrid man needed to slam home four goals to have stood a chance of even sharing the award.

His omission from the final day fixture is likely to have been made with one eye on the conclusion of the Champions League.

Maurizio Sarri’s team will need to overcome a 1-0 deficit if they are to progress at the Allianz Stadium.

How Inter Milan could line up with Lionel Messi as Serie A giants plot free transfer and four-year deal worth £235m

INTER MILAN are reportedly hoping to sensationally sign Lionel Messi from Barcelona.
And if the little magician does join, the Italian giants could have a fearsome front line.

    2

The Barcelona star is yet to agree a new deal with the Catalan club, and will be a free agent next summer.
According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport Inter Milan are ready to pay Messi £60MILLION a season to join them and will offer him a four-year deal worth £235m.
There have been murmurings all season that he has become increasingly frustrated with how things are going at the Nou Camp.
If he does end up rocking the football world and joining Inter, he could form a front free alongside Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku.

Sanchez would likely be allowed to leave Manchester United as part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s continual rebuild.
But one attacker could be edged out at the San Siro – and that is Lautaro Martinez.
And with Barca linked with the 22-year-old Argentinian, he could even be used in the Messi deal.
In midfield there could also be a new face in Tottenham star Tanguy Ndombele.

He has failed to light up Spurs, and could be involved in a swap with Milan Skriniar.
The defence could feature two former Premier League stars.

Ashley Young and Victor Moses both made shock moves to Inter but have fitted in well respectively.
They are likely to flank the experienced Diego Godin and Stefan Vrij at centre-half.
Samir Handanovic won’t be going anywhere, with the club captain having another stellar campaign between the sticks.

Stats say that Lionel Messi would have won Ballon d’Or this season with Cristiano Ronaldo missing out on the top three More

Man Utd and Man City on red alert as Napoli president admits Koulibaly may be up for transfer after Osimhen signing

NAPOLI president Aurelio De Laurentiis has opened the door to selling Kalidou Koulibaly.
The centre-back has attracted attention from a host of major clubs, but they have all been told he is not for sale in the past.

    1

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has opened the door to selling in-demand centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly
But now, it appears Napoli are resigned to losing Koulibaly as long as their price tag is met.
They value him at £80million, a fee they have so far not been offered by anyone.
De Laurentiis told Sky Italia: “Kalidou is a great person, I would be terribly sad to lose him.
“But there is a time for everything, even to move apart.

“But the €90m is not on the table and so it takes two to make a deal.”
Napoli also secured a club record £74m signing for Lille striker Victor Osimhen and will look to recoup their funds.
Koulibaly has been a long-time Manchester United target as they eye a partner for club record signing Harry Maguire.
But according to Goal, local rivals City want to take on United in the pursuit for the 29-year-old.

Last season’s Premier League champions are close to signing Bournemouth centre-back Nathan Ake, having had a £41million bid accepted.
But having lost skipper Vincent Kompany last summer, they paid the price for not replacing him.
It has led to City targeting centre-backs as they enter the transfer window looking to set up a title winning campaign.

The car footage came just hours after she posted a Calvin Klein underwear snap
Images shot from the driver’s seat show the swanky interior of the supercar as she crusies along the road in France.
Earlier on her story roll, the agent and model posted a sultry snap of her in a black Calvin Klein underwear set.
The picture received more than 390,000 likes from the 33-year-old’s 6.7m Instagram followers.
Having posted the snap Wanda set out in the blue Lambo Huracan which is one of the main motors in the couple’s £700k car collection.

The Argentine striker’s stunning list of motors include the thrill of a Lamborginhi, the regal class of a Rolls Royce and the swagger of a Hummer.
The couple’s garage in France consists of a group of cars that value nearly £1m.
Yet not all the shiny wheels are driven by the product of the Barcelona academy.

Wanda has her name all over some of the flash rides parked up at their home in France.

For Christmas 2018, Icardi surprised Wanda with her very own brand-new matte black Bentley Bentayga, worth £136,000, with her name as the number plate.
The sleek Lamborghini Huracan Spyder would have set him back at least £200k and can reach a top speed of up to 202mph.

Serie A club SPAL find severed pig’s HEAD outside training ground amid protest after relegation

A SEVERED pig’s HEAD was left outside Italian side SPAL’s training ground by fans furious at their relegation from Serie A.
A group of ultras pulled the grim move after their team dropped out of Italy’s top flight after three seasons.

    1

Ultra fans of Italian club SPAL left a severed pig’s head outside their training ground after they were relegated from Serie A
SPAL finished bottom of Serie A after their ham-fisted attempts to stay up fell short.
Hardcore fans of the Ferrara-based club attacked their GB Fabbri training centre earlier this week.
They left the grisly pig’s head at the main entrance, and also draped a banner reading: “Pigs Of Ferrara Out.”
Valentina Ferozzi, the president of SPAL’s training centre. said: “You can protest, but there are things you can and can’t do.

“I don’t know who it was who hung the banner on the training ground.
“But to use a poor pig’s decapitated head is in truly bad taste. It certainly does our fanbase no credit.
“They deserve better for the way they have always behaved.”
The gruesome gesture evoked memories of Portuguese legend Luis Figo.

Barcelona fans flung a pig’s head at their former idol in 2002 when he played for Real Madrid at the Nou Camp.
Luigi Di Biagio’s SPAL saw their three-year spell in Italy’s top flight come to an end following Wednesday’s 3-0 loss at Hellas Verona.
Their threadbare squad included French midfielder Bryan Dabo, who had a loan spell with Blackburn in 2014 without making a first-team appearance.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s £540k-a-week wages causing ‘discord’ at Juventus as he makes almost FOUR TIMES next highest earner

JUVENTUS stars are reportedly raising eyebrows at the incredible gulf in wages between Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the squad.
With the coronavirus pandemic biting football hard, the sustainability of club finances have come into a stronger light.

    2

Having won Serie A, Juventus’ stranglehold on Italian football remains but the club is without a Champions League trophy in 24 years.
In their pursuit of the esteemed silverware, the Old Lady forked over a huge amount to sign Ronaldo with a £105million transfer fee and £540,000-a-week in wages.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Marca, that has caused discord in the dressing room.
The next highest-earner at Allianz Stadium takes home almost four times less, with Matthijs de Ligt paid £138,000-a-week.

Veteran players Gonzalo Higuain and Miralem Pjanic both earn £130,000-a-week, ahead of £127,000-a-week striker Paulo Dybala.
Juve are set for a realignment of sorts this summer with Pjanic heading to Barcelona, effectively swapping him for Arthur Melo.

And the Brazilian will reportedly earn a slimmed down £60,000-a-week wage when he finally moves to Turin.
Previous signings have been handed considerably bigger deals, such as free transfer duo Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey, on £121,000-a-week each according to Italian media.

Any discontent with Ronaldo may be dissipating off the back of Juve’s latest Scudetto victory, coming off the back of 31 goals in 33 games for the Portuguese superstar.
And he may even be gifted a pay rise if he can lead the Bianconeri to a stunning Champions League win in August, with the side currently 1-0 down to Lyon halfway through their last-16 tie.

Napoli want Champions League clash with Barcelona moved to Portugal after Catalonia coronavirus case spike

NAPOLI president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants his team’s Champions League game against Barcelona moved to Portugal because of a coronavirus spike in Catalonia.
The teams are set to play their last-16 second leg tie at the Nou Camp on August 8 but the Napoli big-wig wants a change of plan.

    2

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurenttis has called for his side’s game with Barcelona to be moved to Portugal
The first leg was a 1-1 draw in Naples in February.
But the second leg which was originally scheduled for March 18 was postponed because of coronavirus.
And now the pandemic is causing problems again with a recent spike in the number of daily confirmed cases in Catalonia.
The Champions League quarter-finals are already set to take place in Portugal and De Laurentiis wants to know why those plans don’t apply to the last-16.

He said: “I hear a lot of perplexity and fear coming from Spain and they’re acting like nothing is wrong.
“What does it take to say, ‘Don’t go to Barcelona but rather go to Portugal, Germany or Geneva?

“If they’ve decided to play the Champions League in Portugal and the Europa League in Germany, I think we can go to Portugal or Germany for the round of 16.
“I don’t understand why it should stay in a city that has a really critical situation.”

The winner of the tie will face Bayern Munich or Chelsea on the quarter-final with the Blues 3-0 down from the first leg.
